I’m hoping the guy was drunk. Not that I condone such behavior in a senate hearing, but it would at least offer an explanation for acting like a defective half-wit. Now, if Bennett is sober, well, that’s unfortunate him.
Bennet is from Colorado he was brought in to head Denver Public School board, when he had fulfilled the resident requirement for running for the Senate he did and won. Basically he was the son of some big shot in DC and was installed as Senator. I loved when he said stop filibustering and Radcliffe hadn’t been able to squeeze a word in edgewise. I have zero respect for him and really I think he is not too smart. They had preplanned remarks on what they thought they would say and that clip really seemed weird.
What I saw in the video was Bennett lying. Perhaps he and the SSCI are the ones who need to be sworn in before hearings. Nah, they’d lie under oath.
