Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick appears for an extensive discussion with the All In podcast. Secretary Lutnick has been a 30-year friend of President Trump and is currently one of the most critical members of the MAGAnomic team who are executing Trump’s agenda to Make America Great Again.
Secretary Lutnick outlines the background of what makes President Trump so effective in his position, and within the discussion Lutnick notes at the core of Donald Trump is “the most intuitive person he has ever known.” This is a casual discussion about President Trump and how Lutnick came into the administration. einstein was in fact wrong.
his work involved history…what has happened in the past to support his theories. In his defense, science as a whole, MUST (emphasis) establish theories based on history.
BUT…(emphasis) what it does not allow (a mistake See asterrisks below), is that time itself, a quantum of uncertainty is that the past and the present and the future are connected…even within the framework of the most celebrated human minds that do such science.
einstein said it best: GOD DOES NOT ROLE DICE.
eg, Einstein did not allow for dark energy, dark matter, quantum faster than light speed instantaneous weird cats in a box. He preferred straight physics even if the “current” physics could not satisfy the Evidence ..which is the primary function of science: to know certain things, but not all things.
Einstein, among many great thinkers was a believer in a divine master of the entire universe. It was not so much the life and culture that alluded to this conclusion and bias. No, it was the actual science and experiments that compelled them to believe this universe was created and created in such a way that simple human beings could recognize the PROOF.
einstein was no idiot. Read his papers..the personal notes. It’s quite apparent his understood his work did not involve invention..but of discovery.
and the difference is non trivial.

In 1974 I saw the future 3 weeks before it actually happened. I never understood how this was possible and came to the belief that it just means that there is way more than my feeble earth brain is allowed to understand. Time is a mystery to me.
In the summer 1987 my mother was having dreams of a plane crash. This was weeks before she and one of my sisters were to fly out to Atlantic City for a few days of fun. My Mom had no fear of flying. She told my sister of her dreams and my sister kind of freaked out thinking that the dreams portended of their plane crashing.
On their return trip to Detroit Metro Airport (August 16, 1987) they landed safely. As she was leaving the airport facility in her vehicle she witnessed the crash of Northwest Airlines flight 255. My brother and I were watching television that evening and the local news came on informing viewers of the crash, but did not have a lot of details of the plane or its flight origination. Needless to say, my brother and I were concerned for my mon and sister.
Shortly after the news broke, my mom came home and I remember her walking in the house all freaked out over what she saw. She said the crash she saw was exactly as in her dreams (which we had no idea she had had).
After all the particulars of the crash came out, my mom stated that one thing she was perplexed by in her dream was that among the wreckage there was one hand sticking above it and she was bothered by that image. Those that remember that accident may recall that there was only one survivor of the crash, a four-year-old girl. It was my mom’s belief that the one hand represented the survival of the four-year-old girl.
As a side note, the date (August 16th) coincided with the same month and day in 1975 when one of my brothers was murdered. My mom had dreams about that one before it happened too.
No one believes in dark matter any longer. That concept is kaput.
With the development of the electron microscope, came the development of a new science, microbiology.
When I was growing up, they often said (pre this development) the phrase “simple, single celled organism” as thats how they viewed cells….
After, not so much as they realised they are structured exactly like well designed factories,..far too well designed to be random,..and irriducable non-complexity rules out their having evolved.
In short, they were seeing undeniable proof of an “intelligent design.”
However, long before the suppression of “Covid came from a lab” or “the 2020 election was stolen” there was an organised and sustained effort to push Darwins theory as “accepted fact” and any scientists who said otherwise, were blackballed, any reporter who wrote a story about “intelligent design” had their editors pressured to fire them,..and this campaign of suppression was VERY effective.
Darwins theory may, at best tell how God populated the earth,…

As a retired MD of course I was indoctrinated into the theory of evolution as if it were fact, not theory. After I retired, I found these articles helped me question this indoctrination. I am glad I found them.
re: “Darwins theory may”
TBH, Darwin’s theory has been butchered and adulterated by a lot of ppl with an agenda and various ’causes’ they want that theory to support. No one reads (has time for reading) primary documents any more either, like the original writings of Darwin or the correspondence he had with others. Darwin is literally a ‘canvas’ many paint with the agenda colors they favor. Before you color me an advocate, I consider this kerfuffle around Darwin to be noise and even consider Darwin himself to be ‘noise’ in light of what we know about genetics and the nature of matter given what we know today.
Evolution is an everyday fact of life.
Everyone evolves from a single cell organism in their mother’s womb.
Everything is in a constant state of change (evolution).
Darwin’s theory is absolute crap.
No, you do not “evolve” from a single cell in the womb.
Evolution is a random process governed by chance and external environmental conditions.
That single cell in the womb already has the entire blueprint for your fully-grown body. The womb is a protected environment that isolates and protects the developing child from the external environment conditions as much as possible. You unfold according to a predetermined plan.
re: “Einstein did not allow for dark energy, dark matter, quantum faster than light … weird cats in a box. He preferred straight physics even if the “current” physics”
Along those lines, if you prefer a ‘sane’ theory of matter down to the atomic and sub-atomic level investigate the work by Dr. Randell Mills … much experimentation shows his theory to be in agreement with lab experiments too, a big plus as far as I am concerned:

Intuitive people can all too easily read a room. This comes naturally to them. They are born leaders who don’t wait for direction and are predisposed to run the show.
People respect intuitives and will unconsciously defer to their judgement. We just sense something special about the person who can command a room without running roughshod over everybody else in it.
People like President Trump are at once centered, measured and laser focused on the task at hand. How else can one get shot in the head and jump up shouting FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
Thank God we had the sense to elect a natural born leader who knows what needs to be done to make America, indeed the free world, great again.
Requires a larger than normal capacity for empathy, as well.
He does seem extraordinary gifted in many factors. How to select and then manage people who are very unlike himself. That is truly inspiration and few leaders actually possess this factor. Intelligence does not adequately explain this, nor does intuition. It deals with that part of being humble enough to allow for others to have a direct influence into matters that you would otherwise likely not be able to do well yourself. This is a very special leadership quality. If you follow Donald Trump in his career it is highlighted by this success feature. He finds people who are very very good at certain things…and when I say, certain things, these are not typical resume bullet points. It’s that special ambition and drive, but also of integrity. One of his main factors in leadership is his willingness to take great risks..and take failures and regroup and stay back on task. There just are not that many people who can do this at a high level. we all do this even if we are unaware of just how important that it is to be ready to react correctly to failure. Most people do it out of utility…it serves as a coping skill. President Trump realizes opportunity in failure. This is why his trade and tariff strategies are confusing….There is a strategy at play. It looks like chaos, but it forces a negotiation.
for example: President Trump lifted direct support for combat operations in UKR…this gets the attention of everyone. one might call this a type of failure…its disruptive. But it saves lives AND it forces EVERYONE to get off their lazy asses and start engaging in a larger discussion: what does it take to make peace? what do you want?
his strategy is also complex but easy to understand when you break it down:
give me a reason why the US should continue to support this war? what do we get out of it?
again, negotiation by being disruptive to the norms…
no more free money…we will gladly accept your minerals, your nuclear power plants, some of your resources.
strings attached means everyone is now in eyes wide open negotiating status. We are no longer focusing exclusively on killing people. We are now closing in on that a war really means, why it exists and how we shut it down:
what do you want?
what are your terms in return?
President Trump has been accused of being manipulative. I guess if you want to consider your best description, but it fails to address WHY he acts the way that he does. and it has nothing whatsoever to do with acrimony or being a bully. He just knows that the leaders of this world by and large are frauds, cowards and quite simply they don’t give a damn about the consequences of their actions…which in this case, clearly draws us all closer to a nuclear war.
I’ve written it now three times…when this war ends and it will and peace is established. the very first 300,000 dollars of US aid to help restore infrastructure in UKR and any new business money into Russia will be first spent on a monument of President Trump…the man who brokered peace when everyone else was hell bent on destruction and misery.
It will be the right thing to do. A monument statue of our champion, the most unlikely American icon of the history of the United States.
and yes, we should probably start picking out the spot on a granite wall ..next to Washington would be my choice

re: “How to select and then manage people who are very unlike himself.”
Brings to mind the saying: “A’s Hire A’s, B’s Hire C’s”
The finest employees do not fear others who are the best and often enjoy the professional competition and camaraderie of others like them. Any leader worth their title knows this.
A deeper look into hiring patterns, however, demonstrates that this is not so easy and for a reason that may be unexpected. Donald Rumsfeld1 notes that “A’s hire A’s, B’s hire C’s” and maybe even hire a few “D’s.”
He explains, as others have, that talented and hard working people help create a positive work culture; a “culture of excellence.” The best employees, those he calls “A’s,” are smart, experienced, and savvy people who know other A’s and can call upon them to consider for a job vacancy.
The average employee knows they are not the best. Those less talented, he calls them “B’s,” are reluctant to hire people who might “outshine” them. Alas, these employees do not know the best people outside their organization or likely to know people like themselves. Thus they hire C’s, those with even less competence.
https://www.theleadermaker.com/as-hire-as-bs-hire-cs/
Many successful Corp top execs inform their better employees who have earned a promotion that before they can be promoted, based on Merit, they must first find and groom their replacement. That replacement will reflect on the person promoted,… so choose wisely.
I love this kind of interview/history
it has that certain “lift me up to new ideas” doesn’t it?
President Trump is exceptionally brilliant man. And the sorts of men and women that are drawn to his intelligence and purpose are likewise, exceptional.
I would not want to wage war against these people.

I’m watchin the whole thing, I don’t want to be like Mike anymore, I wanna be like Donald
This is a phenomenal interview.
There’s so much info to unpack and it’s Lutnick at his best.
God bless Donald John Trump!
He was preordained to be the president.
The hiccup between his two terms strengthened his resolve, and opened the eyes of millions. The stark contrast of a corrupt, delusional, and perverted regime with that of a nationalist patriot was glaring.
As I said, God bless our president! We need him!
That hiccup was pre-ordained as well. We were all upset when they stole the election, but looking back on it, it was far better for PDJT and MAGA that it happened exactly that way..
Romans 8:28 – NIV
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
All English translations – https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Romans%208%3A28
If someone has been stealing elections for generations, wouldn’t it be a genius plan to “allow” them steal just one more while everyone was watching?
It would be even better if the whole world were shut down and stuck in their houses watching the boob tube so “everyone” was watching. Never let a crisis go to waste.
Is that what it would take to wake enough people up? Kari Lake said it best, “81 million votes my ass”.
Hiccup? Are you sure it was a hiccup?
What the Dems intended for evil – God made it into a blessing for all of us.
The events that happened from 1st term thru the next 4 years became preparation for something greater than we could imagine.
Donald Trump is loyal, and thus instills loyalty in others.
This country is so damned lucky to have him serve as our president.
EXCEPTIONAL interview !
The All-IN guys (The ONLY PODCAST I REFUSE TO ever MISS) are KILLIN IT lately….In a subsequent episode they even confessed to being blown away by their WH visit and acknowledged having captured lightning in a bottle with Sec. Lutnick.
(For those unfamiliar…David Sacks…. Trumps “Crypto Czar” was/is part of the core All-In posse (on sabbatical now in DC)
WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE Howard Lutnick ON OUR TEAM ….just a fun,FUNNY, smart…no…. brilliant communicator and otherworldly problem solver with morals to match …
Watched every minute. Lutnick is a common sense genius business man. He and Elon make a great team. They know how to cut through all the BS and gov’t regs. and political corruption to get things done. Too bad they can’t put together a similar team to deal with the federal judges who think they are God’s.
Surely there has to be a team that could solve that problem.
Fortunately, President Trump has himself AND some Lawfare “Lutnick’s” to deal with the corrupt “federal judges” who have perverted our legal system..
As PDJT famously keeps saying, “the best is yet to come”.
How can each one of us help out each day?
By praying so we get better and better at letting God work with us and through us and by becoming our own version of always ELECTION FOCUSED Scot Presler.
Excellent post

This was my morning to listen completely, uninterrupted to this unusually enlightening podcast. It has given me true HOPE that the many great things we are teased with can actually come to fruition. Dream Big!!!
My intent was to watch 13 minutes and 34 seconds of this video. I ended up watching the whole thing and would have kept watching had there been more. Amazing.
A wonderful interview. I haven’t missed an All In since Tucker intervewed Chalmath.
I was in for a half hour, was completely captivated and watched the whole thing, We are so lucky to have these folks on our side at this moment in history. Mr. Lutnick gets it!!
The “inside baseball” aspect was catnip for me !!
I too, could listen to Lutnick for HOURS….!! 🤣 🍿🍿🍿
That is what I was going to write (which is why I’m putting this in your comment) I could stop WATCHING, thus I saw every second of this 1:44 hr interview and all the things Howard talks about just confirmed my trust in THIS ADMINISTRATION
No matter how busy you are, every second of this Howard Lutnick interview is worthwhile. It’s packed with incredible insights and behind-the-scenes Trump World info.
And it’s full of hope. Lots of hope.
Lutnick is slick in the same way Obama is/was, slick. Sadly this slickness takes many people in.
Looking at it from Suspicious Cat mode, I proffer a coupla examples of this.
At ~35m he discusses the Gaetz/Bondi transition from his perspective of Transition Manager. He talks about the thorough instant vetting process etc which he says was the reason Gaetz was dropped. So how come if so that was also applied to Bondi, his team didn’t pick up on the obvious compromising issue with Bondi as previously outlined by Sundance on the Trayvon Martin case?
At ~1h 3m he discusses how tariffs don’t generate inflation but printing money out of thin air is rather the cause of that. Quite agree. As everyone who’s studied monetary policy in the era of fractional reserve banking also knows. But notice, he never talks about eliminating the Fed, he simply talks about massive tax cuts in favour of replacing the lost revenue with tariffs. I mean. Great. But not eliminating the Fed is not striking at the root of the problem, is it.
At ~1h 29m he discusses flags of convenience used by shipping companies world over. But he never reveals why they are used. Know why? They are used because under Maritime Law in International Waters the local laws of the flag nation apply to the vessel under sail. This means that if a flag nation has a law that says its ok to burn bunker oil, which is the most pollutant but cheapest by-product of oil refineries, that’s all perfectly legal. Furthermore, the labour laws of said flag countries also applies, so if they say it’s ok to pay crewmen a dollar a day and lash them with the coat of nine tails, which they don’t quite say that these days, but if they did, that’d be perfectly fine, and legal, as well.
Then around the same timemark he alludes briefly to the Irish model whereby software companies with HQ’s in Ireland are provided special tax breaks and how this could not be permitted to continue. This dates back to the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997 and Ireland’s response to that which resulted in what became known as the Celtic Tiger. Basically Ireland saw this opportunity and setup its tax structure to facilitate software companies who wanted to base themselves in Ireland in a designated region, with special tax breaks. This resulted in Ireland becoming in the late 90’s the biggest exporter of software, in the world.
I mean Lutnick comes across as extremely personable and perhaps we should all take him as he appears.
But I personally would regard that as being extremely foolish, because these days, I don’t take anyone on face value, and I think anyone who does is making a potentially disastrous mistake, and that scepticism includes everyone in Trump’s Administration, as well as Trump himself.
I think given what has happened in our faces last, say, twenty five years, trust has gone out the window.
This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t support people like Lutnick and Trump, et al, it means we should always be sceptical and always hold their feet to the fire and always be prepared to consider the possibility they are being duplicitous, and if circumstances eventually prove otherwise, breath sighs of relief and extend gratitude toward them accordingly.
But the world tried the naive approach during Trump 45 and it did not work, did it.
So let’s not let the world fool us twice.
I wonder, given Q hasn’t re-appeared, whether Lutnick isn’t 47’s frontman in his latest attempt at narrative control and management.
I don’t have the comprehension Lightbringerer does, but did notice (I’m at the 48 minute mark in listening–and it is very easy to listen to!) that he stated that if Social Security checks didn’t go out one month, that “Americans” wouldn’t be screaming about it; only those who are fraudsters would be screaming….and “that’s how you identify the fraudsters.”
Well, that sort of threw me a bit.
If, without notice, the Social Security deposit was not made to my bank account, I would have to get on the phone with every one of my auto-debit bill-pays and stop that auto-debit from being made. I would be contacting each utility company to arrange for delayed payment. I would be in touch with my mortgage company to see what my options were.
He’s right in that I wouldn’t be screaming about it. I would simply be nose to the grindstone figuring out to handle the situation. But he’s completely wrong in thinking it wouldn’t matter.
He’s easy to listen to. He’s a happy camper, yes. But he’s not in touch with all normal Americans and he is wrong to assume that such a thing would not matter to people who pay their bills on time or better. He’s just flat wrong about that.
I rarely listen to long form interviews, and I am enjoying listening to this one, but that does not mean that I take everything that ANY of them says hook, line, and sinker.
And he was an enthusiastic supporter of Hillary Clinton, so there’s that…….oh, well.
One of the hardest things for ordinary people to comprehend is that politics is not based on reality but on perception of reality.
This is why we have phenomena like fake news. Their whole job is to generate and propagate narratives that pretend to portray reality but which don’t correspond to it, at all. The more people they fool, the more they earn. It’s an entire industry.
Worldwide. Not just in the US. Globally.
Humans who are being however have a God-given gift called Discernment. The Christian definition of that gift is that it gives a Christian the ability to discern Satanic influence over the data they are reviewing.
Satan has many names. Two of my personal favourites are: The Slanderer, and The Deceiver.
The latter is particularly powerful, in today’s world.
Deception is the currency of success in many transactions in todays world, and I’m not talking monetary transactions, I’m talking about how people’s perceptions are shifted from one place to another, by slander and deception.
All you need to stop this happening to you, is to be alert and aware to the possibility this might be happening. Then all their efforts disappear in a puff of smoke.
That’s another gift from God, to us.
I’m aware that politics is based on perception of reality: I’m just surprised that Lutnick’s perception of reality isn’t actually based on reality in a specific illustration that he himself uses to make his point of choice.
Even college freshment presentation in Speech 101 would not accept the assertion he makes with re to no general reaction to a missed Social Security deposit.
Makes me wonder what else he doesn’t know.
Nevertheless, may his tribe increase. I’m just not the pep rally type so I don’t oooh and ahhhh over every utterance.
Perhaps his statement was in the macro about SS. His work view, the bad guys not getting their $$$ !
Maybe.
Elon Musk said something similar about how they detected fraud at Paypal. The fraudsters were the ones that tended to complain the most (or loudest) with moral outrage. Elon said that is why DOGE focused on USAID first because that’s where complaints were coming from the most. At least that’s the gist of what I remember.
So my guess is that, although Lutnick may have been drawing from his own experience, he was probably heavily influenced by discussions with Elon Musk and perhaps by Frank Bisignano, who he mentioned in the interview was about to be confirmed as the new head of the Social Security Administration. In the interview, Lutnick quoted Bisignano as saying, “My whole life all I worry about is getting ride of waste, fraud, and abuse.”… so Bisignano would also be knowledgeable about this issue.
So I don’t think Lutnick was making a tone deaf statement but instead was comparing the general behaviors of both legitimate people receiving payments and fraudsters receiving payments, as it relates to fraud detection… though I suppose there are always exceptions.
Excellent explanation, Stillwater. And I can’t stand screamers!
Thank you Peoria ~ 🙂
I looked at it the same way you did, but it was nice to have a revered Treeper take the time to respond. Also nice to see you giving measured comments after daylight, LoL! 😉
I do tend to keep odd hours. lol
Did you ever notice how truth loves to be examined and known but lies cannot tolerate inquiry?
They scream like the witch when she was drenched in water.
I’m melting!!!
Considering the unrelenting howls coming from the Marxist Dims now about USAID being curtailed,… Both Musk and Lutnick’s comments about the hit dog howling first,… seemed dead on right. Pour on the coals, Elon.
“Lutniks perception of reality isn’t actually based in realuty”.
Fortunately, for ALL of us, ” Lutnik” == thee.
Perhaps say a prayer then LISTEN again. Hopefully heart sight and hearing will be fully recovered by then. 😘
My mom would be screamimg about it! That’s a blanket exaggeration to say NO ONE would be screaming but the fraudsters.
Your second sentence: absolutely YES – which was my observation as well.
Your first sentence? Understandable for sure–just not my choice in such situations!! 🙂
I’m just not a fan of auto pay. You assume the money will be there, there is a chance it won’t. I’m still a check and cash guy. Yes, the post office is abysmal, however, every American knows the Post Office.
GREAT NEWS!!!
This “vexation of your Spirit” is based on a false impression of what he said AND what he meant.
The subject was DOGE and more specifically, one of the initial tactics being used to detect BIG FRAUD has been to track the immediate REACTIONS to a DOGE suggested cut or even just a temporary pause to investigate further before issuing a check.
For instance, the immediate rage and seethe rEEEeeactions to the USAID freeze turned out to be an accurate indication of USAIDs profound corruption.
To illustrate how an innocent, non corrupt person would react, he mentioned how his elderly middle class “normal person” mom would react if her social security check didnt appear as expected. She wouldnt go into a psychotic rage. Instead shed start making calls to get the mistake corrected asap.
Fwiw….
malevolent online psyop teams actually just started pushing the narrative that “OMG heartless Drumpf and his dumb dumb team finally admitted that they want to eliminate social security. Perhaps Team EVIL got their sick script du jour from this interview.
And perhaps thats what caused their poisonously inverted messaging to be heard, emotionally reacted to and then spread rather than what Light Hearted life long DJT friend, Lutnik, actually said?
This bit about “social security payments” being late and all got me to thinking…
Would it be wise to establish personal “auto-debt” payments for those collecting Social Security directly from the SS Department? So, essentially all monthly utilities would withdraw their SS Customers payments from the department and the “left over” get sent to the personal account or “check in the mail”.
Under that system, should the check get “lost in the mail”, so to speak, at least the utilities would still stay on as it would then become a problem for the government to resolve.
Just thinking…
I’ve been through tough times. Electricity turned off. Single parent. BK. The whole rodeo. Current wife does do an auto-debit from my account and they processed early last month and caused all manner of havoc for me.
Is exactly why I don’t do any auto-debits. My debts are small enough and I have time I can do that. I realize that isn’t possible for everyone.
I am working toward a Dave Ramsey Zero credit score life and who knows I make get there if I live long enough. 😉
The largest bank in Louisiana deposited my monthly payroll credits to another account and that error caused all my auto-pay accounts to go negative that month due to the ISF status of my account,… until I informed the Bank of their mistake and threatened the bank with Fed Rgs and local DA action. They fixed their error. promptly. Therefore, no auto-pay from my bank accounts ever since their Error.
I got tipped off when the Times Picayune newspaper called to ask why my monthly payment was reversed (due to ISF) saying they would have to suspend my subscription. That call alerted me to my Big Bank’s crediting errors. No More!
And how could we be assured that Social Security was being shut down just “for one month”…
My memory isn’t so far gone that I can’t remember their imposing lockdowns ” for two weeks” only.
Trust?
Sorry….I withdrew mine long time ago.
Whether Lutnick was simply in the moment or not, words matter.
In future he really needs to taste his words before he spits them out.
After 80 years of living, a truly dysfunctional family, divorce, my own inability to be righteous, true, loving, faithful on my own, with the increasing care for a disabled child with cerebellar dysfunction creating unpredictable mental abnormalities and erupting emotional storms for 40 years, who is dying of cancer, having endured a planned faux pandemic, horrible hospital protocols and drugs, then a stolen election, revealing a corrupt government, courts – and even our churches – – – I have a complete inability to trust anyone or anything – except GOD, Father, Son, Holy Spirit and HIS WORD, Will, Way of Truth, Love, Life, His Righteousness, Peace and Joy – I know the only good I can do is surrender, repent, praise, worship, return and give myself to Him and His mercy.
Sibyl! We took different routes, but ended at the same place. I only trust God and His Word in the Bible. Everyone else on this side of heaven is fallible AND fallen.

AMEN, Sibyl!
I mentioned in this thread how much I dislike Lutnick endorsing Tesla like he did.
That is Hatch Act charges-worthy.
I also don’t like how he talked about people and their social security benefits.
It’s a wonderment to me how people – especially lower and middle class folks – like this guy.
Auditory hallucinations can be a sign of emotionally triggering psyop damage ie spiritual damage to ones heart.
Fortunately, what one imagined he said =/= what he actually said.
Fortunately, Sundance provided a link to the whole interview so its possible to test ones recovery by listening. Again.
Mommy….get dad, there is a snake in the grass!
And yet here you are, mentioning it again.
Coincidentally, or not, Light Bringer is what the ultimate perverter inverters of Reality, Lucifer, is often called.
Putting the famous /pol/ statement of fact into a question, “user name checks out”?.
My real name is Reid Booth and I live in Hamilton, New Zealand and I chose Lightbringer as a moniker when I registered here because I’ve studied the same field as Sundance has for 35 years just not specifically focused on US politics but on geopolitics aka international relations which is far more complicated than internal politics of an individual nation because you have to understand not just internal political parties of any nation but also all the other parties who influence/have interests in, external things and who operate inside that nation.
I am far from approaching Sundance’ level of brilliance in what he does in his field of mostly internal US politics, but as far as I’m concerned, I bring to the Treeper’s table a level of understanding of the international scene which most of you living in America, do not appreciate, since, as Doug MacGregor has put it, America is not just its own country, it’s its own planet. And it is. And this comes through in the way you discuss things with each other. This forum is not the only American forum I look at/post on, and there are certain attributes you have which don’t exist in say, Europe or elsewhere.
Therefore, I chose Lightbringer because its what I try to bring to your table, in terms of something different than what you get domestically.
But then I thought, that’s purty freaking arrogant of me, so I applied the diminutive “erer” which was intended to make it clear to everyone here that I don’t rate myself, I’m same as you all, we’re all seekers of truth, non-pretenders, clear-eyed, truth at all cost patriots, contributing to the common cause.
All I can say to you guys on here is: if I was alive in the US in the 1770’s, I would not have been sitting on my arse letting my neighbour win the War of Independence.
So that’s the back story to me and who I am. You’re the second person who’s commented on this similarity to the enemy who’s behind everything we all fight against implying that I’m associated with that scum. I hope there won’t be a third. And I forgive you. But please don’t do it again.
Mods: sorry for the diversion.
You are a fascinating character, Lightbringerer.
Fwiw…
Thanks for the feedback.
I’d hoped my Light Hearted observation reaction to the words written then shared here would inspire some equally Light Hearted laughter followed by some self reflection.
Obviously, thanks to the feedback, I now know I failed on both counts.
However, I’ve learned during my many years of roaming the globe that each persons “germination rate” varies alot, so hopefully these things will happen some time later even though they haven’t happened yet.
Bottom line….
Sending God speed best wishes.
And still smiling.
Thanks, in part, to Lutniks ability to convey his love for his life long friend, DJT and the love they both feel for Ameruca, the American people and humanity.
(Something that ever so earnest and endearingly dour, Colonel McG, definitely does NOT conveywhich may by why PDJT did not invite him to return to DC and rejoin President Trumps administration). Poor thing.
No worries (as we Kiwi’s like to say), and thanks for the response Cozette. Most appreciated, and all respect, and don’t please, feel bad. It’s all good. No hard feelings I believe is the expression 🙂
You are, unfortunately, way too paranoid.
The question isn’t are you paranoid.
The question is are you paranoid enough.
I don’t get a bad vibe from Lutnick perhaps I’m not paranoid enough.
Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean I’m not being followed…
That was the best hour and 45 minutes spent this year. Great!
This was one of the very best interviews I have ever watched.
That was an amazing hour and a half. I hung on to every word and if these policies stuck around for 12 years we will be light years ahead of today economically.
Does anyone else notice the eagle in the background?
I’ve seen this image recently behind President Trump while he was speaking. It may have been on this same forum. Can’t remember.
Does anyone notice anything unique about the eagle’s head?
The eagle’s head faces the arrows in its talons during a time of War and faces the branches during a time of Peace.
We generally always see the eagle’s head facing the other way, towards the branches. Here it’s facing the arrows.
I just found this interesting.
😍
Kudos for being eagle eyed enough to spot this evocative, an apt tidbit..
And thank you for taking the time to share what you spotted so CTH readers who don’t have eagle eyes didn’t miss out. 😘
There has long been debate of the symbolism of the eagle facing to the right talon holding the olive branch of peace versus facing the left towards the arrows of war. Usually this is said to depict peace over war.
There have been depictions in which the olive branches and the arrows have been switched between the right and left with the eagle still looking right. Now there are depictions with the eagle looking to the left towards the arrows
Personally, I would like to see the American Eagle facing directly forwards with the symbol meaning being; We have the strength to deliver either or both depending on your(another country’s) actions. If your actions are peaceful, we will offer the olive branch, if not, beware of our arrows.
excellent video and explanation of his duties for President Trump. This is the gentleman that Sundance said would actually have more power than anybody in the administration because he’s acting as Trump‘s ears and mouth and eyes. he understands his job completely. Trump is totally prepared this time.
Astounded to have this quality of person in any administration.
”DJT believes this is a 1000 Super Bowls, it’s only 100 for me.”
There is a pipeline of Super Bowls coming!
you are 100% spot on. I am so impressed with Trump‘s cabinet aside from Pam Bondi. in my humble opinion, Trump should’ve grabbed the Attorney General out of Missouri once we knew we weren’t gonna be able to land Matt.
Sorry – I am not okay with a Commerce Secretary encouraging viewers to buy stock in Tesla. Cabinet secretaries should not be making endorsements like that. He literally said “Tesla’s stock will never be this cheap again”.
PT should be bringing up Hatch Act charges.
fella, we’re at a point where those of us are on this team need to stick together and that includes from the president right on down to the very bottom person on the totem pole. don’t get caught up in the minutia we have a country to save and very little time to do it.
So you want to be like the Democrats and support nepotism and crime?
I thought conservatives had a spine and morals. That’s why they were conservatives. Nothing to do with one’s political side. Everything to do with integrity.
Are you saying we should ignore all that and do what the Dems do, no matter what? If not, then what precisely are you saying?
Hopefully helpful tip
When an online comment starts with the word “Sorry”, its typically a tell that the words that come after that will be knowingly negative Ie a “vexation to the Spirit”
so continue reading at your own risk.
Have you seen what Lutnik’s firm Cantor Fitzgerald has done with their ratings of Tesla stock?
Look it up.
Quite agree with your post Jackie, BTW.
A very important point he makes is on Supply and Demand.
The U.S. has an incredible appetite. We are very high on the “Demand” side of the equation. Other nations rely on this Demand so they can sell their products into the U.S.
Many countries are completely dependent on their need to sell into the U.S. In this sense, they need us.
If the U.S. brings back manufacturing as this administration is doing, we will simply be satisfying our own “Demand” with our own “Supply”.
The tariffs are intended to accelerate the process of bringing the manufacturing / supply side of the equation home.
President Trump expressly stated this when he said “We don’t need Canada. Canada needs us.”
He went on to say, we have our own lumber/timbers, we can produce our own electricity and we have enough of our own fuel/energy.
He was simply highlighting the “Dependency” status.
Sec Lutnick gets into this when he states, “We are the customers and the customer is always right.”
Yup! And just as important as the US being “the major consumers”, we currently pay (and can afford to pay ) more for consumer goods than most other countries selling to us. Example; Mexico sells us avocados because we will pay more than Mexicans for an avocado and they make a better profit selling to us than to themselves. (Back to Sundance’s treaty on global conglomerates controlling the price of widgets and the price/distribution of lemons example.)
“The customer is always right” is absolute BS.
However the customer is always the customer.
I.E. the person with the money.
Out of everyone, Howard is my fave. I’m so grateful he survived 9/11 after his whole firm got wiped out.
I wanted to hear more about his wife’s renovations to his house!
I couldn’t help but think of “Lemons” and the lengthy discussions about them here when listening to this talk of world trade.
Anyone else?
I wish the most intuitive man who ever lived would stop whatever games he thinks he’s playing and cut off all financial and military aid to Ukraine. That would bring about the swift end to the conflict that he claims to want.
I also wish he could intuit how it looks to the rest of the works, and to anyone with a functioning moral compass, when he responds by bombing Yemen after Israel re-imposes a blockade on all humanitarian aid to Gaza, resumes bombing the strip and the Houthis respond by saying they will block off commercial shipping through the Red Sea if the Israelis don’t stop their killing spree and allow aid back into Gaza.
Maybe I’m not the most intuitive man who ever lived, but at an intuitive level, it feels like Trump is letting Israel dictate our foreign policy in the middle east at our expense as usual. You can’t be an Israel Firster and an America Firster.
“Americans need to wake up and prioritize Israel.”
– Kash Patel
You attribute a quote to Kash Patel.
I’ve been checking Kash Patel’s Truth Social posts at least weekly for over a year now. I don’t remember seeing something like this statement posted there.
Where is this quote from?
Also, the other day when you posted this same “quote”, you misspelled the place you were referring to.
Here you go: https://worldisraelnews.com/watch-nominee-for-fbi-director-kash-patel-about-israel-we-need-america-to-prioritize-israel/
No Kash, American need to prioritize America.
Thank you for posting the source. This interview is from before Nov 5th. It was before the election. It was therefore before any mention of his role at FBI.
Kash Patel mentions what they “did”. Past tense. Freeing hostages including Americans. He talks about Special Forces and Intel. Probably from his time as Chief of Staff of DOD or working other DOD operations across the globe.
His comments here make sense as part of that role at DOD, not his current role at the FBI where he would be focused on domestic matters.
It is and has been a rescue mission. Rescuing people everywhere. Many from their own corrupt govt. It’s all connected. Dismantling the cabal.
We’ll see what happens.
But do you disagree with this:
“Maybe I’m not the most intuitive man who ever lived, but at an intuitive level, it feels like Trump is letting Israel dictate our foreign policy in the middle east at our expense as usual. You can’t be an Israel Firster and an America Firster.”
??
Personally, I can’t see how putting Israel first can possibly put America first, at one and the same time. Given what Israel’s doing over there in its region right now. That’s going to bring America nothing but pain. Already has, in terms of its international reputation. Israel has completely trashed America’s standing amongst 7/8ths of the world, already. I’m not American, but personally, I think what you Americans are letting your government do in your name, is insane. There’s no reason for it, at all. The only reason its happening is because the Israel lobby has Congress by the balls. As it has your media as well. But why are you all letting this happen to you and your great and powerful nation? It makes no sense whatsoever. Yet all of you simply stand aside and let the Israel lobby rampage through Congress like a bull in a China Shop and all of you pretend nothing at all unusual is happening and if it was it would be anti-Semitic to point it out. Like I said. It’s insane.
Not about the Lutnik interview Sundance posted == OFF TOPIC.
My bad for taking the bait and allowing the conversation to go adrift. Seems there are some new trolls among us.
Who created Israel? Who does Israel take their marching orders from? If Israel were considered a glove in the Middle East, who’s hand has been inside that glove?
Maybe I should rephrase and ask a different way…Until recently, who “did” Israel take their marching orders from?
The global pieces are shifting. People across the globe are being liberated from their oppressors, their long term oppressors. Global oppression warrants a global rescue.
Globalists are losing. Nationalists are winning. The future belongs to the Nationalists.
The Golden Age is upon us.
Yeah its an argument amongst geopolitical analysts whether Israel dictates US foreign policy through the lobby or whether the US dictates Israel’s policy as its ME attack dog.
With respect to the point I was making though, it doesn’t matter.
7/8ths of the world knows Israel could not be committing genocide without the US military aid, and if the POTUS simply picked up the phone and said no more, under Biden or Trump, it would have stopped. One phone call. And 7/8ths of the world knows, sees and understands this to be the case.
We’re talking genocide on the scale of NAZI Germany, BTW. We’re not talking Cast Lead style killing, we’re talking genocide on the scale of all the Jews and all the others Germany murdered in WWII, scale genocide, in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. In the last 24 months.
And 7/8ths of the world knows, and has already seen that, on hundreds of thousands of hours of interweb footage.
And 7/8ths of the world knows it couldn’t happen but for US military aid.
These are facts on the ground.
That’s a problem Trump could have avoided, if he’d simply blamed Biden, like he should have blamed Biden for Ukraine as well. But Trump for some reason chose not to in either case, now America is going to have to live with the consequences.
It didn’t have to happen this way. But it has.
I didn’t realize I was interacting with someone who knew what 7/8ths of the world thought.
Impressive.
That’s 87.5% of the world population.
Quick question: Are those “7/8ths of the world” in the room with us now?
I think what you Americans are letting your government do in your name
That covers a LOT of ground and how would we stop it?
When I traveled out side the US I would occasionally meet people who wanted to chew me out based upon US actions. I learned to ask them does your president ask you how to run things and the ans would be no. I’d tell them the president doesn’t ask me either. We generally gone on well after that exchange.
“American need to”
Pretending to speak to Kash, here at CTH?
Btw, doing so is what Sundances calls OFF TOPIC since the topic is the Lutnik interview. Any other topic, according to the Sundance Rules for commenting, belong elsewhere or no where.
PS, sorry if you don’t like my spelling. Typos happen a lot more frequently when you’re typing on your phone.

Perhaps what’s needed most for the fleeting time that’s left is to prey less and pray more?
Red Adair capped the burning oil wells right away. “Experts” had said it might take ten years.
Yeah I was surprised he didn’t recall the name, and neither did the hosts…
There was a movie made about him… loosely based on him, focusing on his work… titled ‘Hellfighters’. I remember seeing it when very young.

Interesting trivia about that movie here

Katharine Ross is a real Beauty; not a fan of the VN war happening then.
Both the Witkoff and Lutnick interviews are must watch for anyone interested in a big picture understanding of how Trump 45-47 wants the US government to be funded and function externally in the world to bring peace.
I was impressed with how he handled the transition: starting with eight choices for each position and then having meetings to cut it down to four then two and finally the eventual pick. That process produced the strongest, most vetted, cabinet on record.
No, it didn’t, because it produced Bondi (lightweight) and Hegseth (lightweight) and Patel (when are the arrests happening, Kash?). And it looks like Tulsi is also having issues these days as well re: her cave when AIPAC told her to ditch Dan Davis as Deputy and she smartly saluted and said: Yes, Sah!
So…
Why so much negative critiquing from New Zealand? It wasn’t enough for you to go on and on about Mr. Lutnick, but you just had to crap on four more team MAGA members. None of these folks may be perfect, but overall I’m thankful for all of them.
It is Sunday morning here in the USA, and many of us are feeling blessed. We have been through four years of hell (actually decades), so please allow us our space to recognize all the good coming our way.
Because if you want to make America Great Again, you can’t afford to faff around and have another round of Pense, Barr, Kelly, et al.
Can you.
And Bondi and Hegseth definitely fall into that category and unless Patel takes dynamic action soon, in say the next week, he’s there too, plus Tulsi’s foundations are looking extremely shaky as well.
You guys can’t afford a fail whereby time passes and nothing happens in the critical portfolios all of those people hold. A week is too long for nothing to have happened and now it’s been a month.
Drop the rose-tints and start looking suspicious cat style real hard nose Ranger style, at solving the problem, now. And if those guys can’t cut it, get rid of em and get someone else.
And who cares if it’s Sunday over in your place. Musk’s DOGE team doesn’t take Sundays off, do they. Take a leaf out of their book.
If you all had time, it’d be a different story.
But ya don’t.
Do ya.
You’ve spent a LOT of time on this. Perhaps you’d be more effective putting your efforts to Making New Zealand Great Again.
AMEN!!!
Perhaps he is a victim of the Jab. If I was forced to take it I would not have a sunny outlook either, so consider the source.

Actually…
YES it did.
Still not living up to ones user name?
More prayers are needed for His Light to return asap so He illuminates what’s thought and then shines through what’s said.
Not sure I’d make this particular comparison during Lent.
But I understand Lutnick may not be of the Faith.
Gosh, I love Howard Lutnick! He just exudes confidence and positivity!
This is the most remarkable administration in history. I was so skeptical of the “billionaire” club that President Trump has brought in, but I have to say I’m so impressed with Scott Bessent, Marco Rubio (who was the brunt of my criticism in the past), and even Elon Musk!
With a team of people like this, who can be against us? This is truly the definition of MAGA.
They are all great communicators.
I heard Victor Davis Hanson mention that recently. It was nice to hear Sec. Lutnick mention the very same thing.
It occurs to me, one aspect of the attack on 45, was to attack and destroy anyone who joined PDJT’s team, to discourage anyone else from joining,…look how they treated Eastmen, Sidney, and Rudy for instance.
And yet look what he has for 47! And Its Lutniks enthusiasm as a headhunter certainly was a big part of it.
Wut… I listened to the interview. I thought trump was dum and a national socialist, and a fascist, and a commmie putin puppet.

Wall St took Clinton to the goody room where he sold his soul to globalism. Specifically, Robert Rubin took him to the 21 Club. Daniel Yergin did a segment on that in his globalization documentary, “The Commanding Heights.”
Being intuitive is by no means a guarantee of a good outcome to things.
Being deliberative and dumb is by no means a guarantee of a good outcome to things.
Noticing what psywar (psychological warfare):savvy /pol/ refers to as “concern shilling” ie posting heart and mind poison.
Motivations for doing so; unknown.
These guys also interviewed Bessent (Sec of Treasury). More low key than Lutnick, but good if you are interested in the money side of things.
My first impression of Howard Lutnick several months ago wasn’t favorable. Listening to this interview changed my mind forever. Lutnick like President Trump sincerely believe they were spared by God to do great things. They are working for free, fearless and enthusiastically to improve American lives.
I was a policeman in Chicago and suffered a knife blade broken off in my abdomen lodged a 1/2 inch from my heart. Eight years ago I was in an auto accident fractured every vertebra from C-1 down to the middle of my back and my upper arm in half. These were both blessings in disguise. They gave me a different outlook and overview on how precious life is.
Their selection of cabinet members was very interesting. The focus was on Secretaries that could communicate well and look well.
The Secretaries lead, set and communicate the agenda. The Deputies are the enactors of the agenda. Let’s be patient we are only 60 days in.
“These were both blessings in disguise. They gave me a different outlook and overview on how precious life is.”
Thank the Lord you found them “blessings in disguise”.
After 8 years of Obama and 4 more of Biden, hopefully our nation can see them as “blessings in disguise” and come away with “a different outlook and overview on how precious” the LIFE OF A NATION IS!
Alan if one hasn’t lived it one cannot appreciate it.
Thanks for the reminder!
I was on my (broken) 46′ sailboat looking UP at the waves coming at me.
I knew I was dead. Were it not for the USCG I would be dead dead dead.
Changed my outlook on life.
Now when I’m aching I just remeber getting old isn’t for wimps 😉
Now every day is another day in paradise!
I’m happy HL mentioned & explained the Hep. B toxic soup injections into newborns at birth – the “someone in the gov’t.” who decided that is the committee tht installs Vx onto the “vaccination schedule” … all ConMeds with pHARMa conflicts of interest; every single one.
RFKII recently postponed their next scheduled meeting “indefinitely”.
It’s a start.
It is great to see Mr. Lutnick’s acceptance of God’s repurposing of his life.
It would be hard not to smile around Mr. Lutnick.
Terrific choice by President Trump
Just got done watching this interview and I have to say the first 45 minutes are sheer entertainment! Lutnick can certainly tell a GREAT story and you sit there just there with a smile on your face. The second half was like THE BEST intro to economics I have ever listened to! He REALLY made it MAKE SENSE!! (If you have kinds or grandkids struggling with math or finances, you’ll want to park them in front of this video!)
It was fascinating to listen to Lutnick explain how Trump arrived at his executive staff and department heads. (Although Lutnick did not go into the reasons why, I now understand why Gaetz was made to drop out and why Trump went with his second pick – Bondi).
At around the 1:10:00 mark Lutnick explains Trump “GOLD CARD” for those wanting to become American citizens. SMART THINKING!
All and all this was an entertaining, informative interview that I feel I should now get a certificate in economics, having viewed.
As an aside, like Trump, I could sit and listen to Lutnick for days!
I liked the explanation of the Gold Card the best. I didn’t understand the tax benefits it has for international people. But, now I see why a person with an extra $5M would invest in this.
I like Howard, too. But, I found him to be loose-lipped in this interview. Talking too long, as the interviews were trying to finish, as well as taking credit for ideas, like the name DOGE. I had thought Elon coined that name. But either way, why brag about it?
I watched the entire interview. It was wonderful. Thank you Sundance.
