God has left us here for a reason – to encourage others and help them to know Christ.
Satan has tried to destroy us – but, we’re still here.
Because the Lord wants us to remain a little while longer.
As a fisher of men – leading precious souls to God and His eternal kingdom.
The devil hates that, and us … BUT GOD is for us – not against us.
Yes, things change. And it SO hard to accept them. Especially as we (I) age!
But the Lord gives us Grace – His power to persevere.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
He does not change! He still loves us, flaws and all.

The Lord, the Holy Spirit, will strengthen your spirit, if you ask.
Remember the devil offers us poison, death, misery.
The Lord offers us LIFE. Choose life.
Get a verse or two from Psalms and pray it back to God. Over and over.
These verses saved my life during a very hard time. I’ll never forget them.
1I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.

a hymn of praise to our God.

I tell the Lord that if I didn’t have Him in my life – and I didn’t know Him, I would be in a nuthouse. Or under a bridge. And, most likely – in a graveyard.
But He rescued me from deep, dark depression … hopelessness.
And put a new song in my mouth. His song.
Jesus gives us “songs in the night.”
If we ask Him.
