Prayers for the family of my 31 year old firefighter nephew, Max, who died in a motorcycle accident. He leaves behind his bride of 13 months and their 17 week old unborn child. He was such a positive light in many lives and his loss leaves a big hole.
My sincere condolences for you and your family’s loss, RedTXDawn. Firefighters hold a special place in my heart and I know that they will rally alongside his bride and child. May his memory be eternal. Praying for you, all, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Praying that the peace of God would fill your hearts & that He would strengthen & provide for all your needs. The Lord bless you.
“Incline your ear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.” Psalm 86:1
Red, I’m so sorry for this tragic loss of your nephew, Max.
I will pray for all of his loved ones left behind.
>>
O God, please show them Your mercy and kindness.
Overwhelm their hurting hearts with Your grace.
Make them acutely aware of Your abiding Presence.
Lord, You are the Lifter of our heads.
Strengthen their spirits by Your Mighty power.
Help them to accept what You have allowed;
Increase their trust in You for the days ahead.
O God, in future days may they realize You were always there … protecting and providing for every need.
Show Yourself strong on their behalf; make a way when there seems to be no way.
Comfort them, O Lord, in their distress; draw them near to You, our Refuge and Help.
Give them hope and peace … that comes only from Jesus Christ, our Lord.
In His Name we ask, for our Savior’s glory. Amen.
I am so sorry for the family loss….devastating does not even cover the immense sadness I am feeling for this young widow…
Oh Mary, Mother of our Savior, please hold and comfort this family.
Our Lady of Sorrows, be there for them in their grief as only you know more than any other, the loss of a Son. We ask you to bring our prayers to your Son. Amen.
The title of “Our Lady of Sorrows” is most favored by our Lady and her Son…
Praying for Max and your family.
Am asking for some prayers…I have one son who used to hang out in Asheville, NC…he also liked to go “off grid”…he has some issues with paranoia as well as my younger son…My one son went for NC to FL and then picked up and vanished from FL.
We don’t know where he is…am hoping he did not go back to NC, or WNC. When I get back from FL, I might have the local police do another, yes another, search…last time they were able to locate him in 20 minutes….and contact him. My kids are in their forties and their father really did some psychological damage during our divorce…and this is the end result…the boys are in need of help but too paranoid to get it.
Please keep them and me in your prayers…I plan to leave for Florida by this afternoon…driving…going to be a short trip.
Aggie, I’ll pray today, and will be back. (Busy schedule).
Drive safely …
🙏🏻🥰
Keeping you & your sons in prayer, Aggie. Be safe.
Joe,
I just wanted to stop in and let you know that I admire the nonstop energy and effort you put into praying for everybody in need who posts on this thread … You are a great example of a caring brother who follows Christ and an example of what the rest of us guys should be aspiring to be… Thanks
Amen, Bulldog.
Joe is one of my inspirations, too – next to the Lord.
He’s been doing this consistently for 8-9 years … maybe 10.
He’s a faithful, devoted servant of God.
Thank you, too, Bulldog, for encouraging others in this Tree, as I’ve noticed.
Aggie, your prayer request touched my heart, and I’ve been lifting you up since then.
I have adult kids and grands, too … they’re in my thoughts every day.
I understand, Aggie.
Like everyone on the planet, our family has its share of troubles … which I can do nothing about except pray – and commit them to God.
Wanted you to know you’re not alone, Aggie.
Because the Lord loves our children more than we do, He will answer our pleas.
In His timing and His way.
May God give you special courage as He works – while you wait.
This is easier “said than done” – because I wrestle with it every day.
But, the Lord is faithful and trustworthy – a Miracle-Maker, a Promise-Keeper.
>>
Gracious God, Thank You for the privilege to come to You for help.
It is humbling, that as mere mortals, we can call You “our Father.”
All because of Jesus.
Lord, Thank You for Your Word … it’s living and active, powerful as a two-edged sword.
You tell us to not worry about tomorrow – yet, often we do.
You want us to cast our cares upon You – but, sometimes we forget.
You’ve commanded us to be anxious for nothing; instead, pray about everything.
And, we have a hard time doing this.
You tell us to call upon You in our time of trouble, and You will deliver us.
However, our strength falters when we don’t “see” any change.
Dear Lord, please forgive us for our fleshly negligence.
Thank You for remembering our frame … that we are made of dust.
Thank You for giving us a maternal love for our children and grandchildren.
This love resembles Your love is some ways, God.
We’re wired to love unconditionally, nurture, comfort, guide, teach, make straight their crooked path, pick them up when they fall to set them aright.
We long to hold them close as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings.
But they’ve outgrown us.
So, we must surrender and commit them to You, Lord – and Your grace.
Dear Lord, please comfort Aggie, and give her a heart of peace.
Grant her an abundance of Your mercy and grace.
Remove her fears and worries about her sons … remind Aggie that your eye is on the sparrow, and on her children, too.
Lord, Aggie’s sons need you.
Knock on the door of their hearts … help them to welcome You in with gladness.
Open their ears and help them to hear You … move their hearts to follow You.
Nothing is too hard for You, O God.
You determined the number of stars, and call them each by name.
Protect Aggie’s sons from evil and dangers – seen and unseen.
Provide for all of their earthly needs, especially saving faith in Jesus.
Help them to live the abundant life that He died to give us.
Deliver her sons from any oppression that harms their well-being.
Rescue them from any despairing darkness.
Restore their bodies, minds, and souls to You, Lord.
Give them wholeness and purpose in the days ahead.
Lead them in Your way, O, Lord … send Your guiding Truth and Light.
We thank You, most holy God, for Your unfathomable love.
We bless You for how You are already at work in Aggie’s sons, and You will complete it.
Please bring a smile to their faces, and contentment in their hearts.
Your Word says that we have not, because we ask not.
Sometimes we have not because we ask with the wrong motives.
But, we’re humbly asking these things in the Name of Jesus, our Savior,
That He will be glorified through these circumstances.
For Christ’s sake … amen.
Have you ever been a minister, or perhaps one in a past life? You never cease to amaze me w/your words and prayers of comfort. I always feel better reading your posts whether they are for me or someone else. You are a gift and a blessing Miss Della B. Most definitely a tool of the Lord.
Leave, thank you for such encouraging words!
No, I’m just a redeemed sinner – saved by God’s grace!
Have walked with Him, and talked with Him for decades now.
He’s my dearest Friend – and my only Hope!
It says in the book of Corinthians that God comforts us so that we can comfort others with the comfort He gave us.
That’s what I try to do in my prayers, Leave.
And, some of the requests in my prayers are the very things I ask for myself and family.
I do appreciate your kind comment, Leave.
It’s hard at times praying for others since there’s not a lot of interchange.
Prayer is work!
I am sure God is happy with your work. Always nice work. I sure appreciate it.
🥰
Praying for you Aggiegirl and your son, that he is found on- grid. Breathe in the love and exhale the fear.
Aggiegirl… it’s painful to see you going through this… especially knowing how much concern you have for everybody and the many prayers you have put up for us…
Many of us in todays world… myself included… experience these same trials and concerns…
Father… we have come together to lay these concerns at your feet…
As Your Children we have the same love, worries and concerns for our own earthly children, that You have shown to have for us, since The Beginning…
Knowing that they are also Your Children and that there comes a time that we can no longer be there to protect them, we Thank You for protecting them from any temptation and evil that comes against them… We Thank You for leading them to a path of reliance and faith on You… A path that leads to Your Glory.
Thank You Father, Thank You Father, Thank You Father… Your Will Be Done!
Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus… You are… Our Way… Our Truth and Our Life… Amen!
Praying for your sons, Aggie.
Praying for his safe return and healing from past abuses. We all have them, in different degrees. We need to forgive, move on and capture that which the Lord has planned for our lives. It will be an unimaginable blessing!
Did you find him?
Oh hey…and I saw Linda Starr on one of the threads last night.
God is Good!
Aggie, I don’t “know” Linda Starr, but she seems like someone I should!?
Yes, God is good!
A Treeper that had surgery and chemo.
Della, dear friend, I have left a message for you on Sunday’s Open Thread (the 27th) after your reply to Annie 🙏🏻
God be with you, my beloved sister 💕
Hi Betsy!
I’ll find it -thank you!
Off to vote now. 🥰
Please say a special prayer today for a lost soul who tragically took his own life, leaving behind heartbroken family and friends. Kevin possessed a brilliant mind but could not handle his problems alone.
May he and his loved ones find the strength they need in the care of our most loving and merciful God, to see them through the darkness, so they may one day find peace.
Praying for Kevin and his family.
Prayer for returning husband from under the seas

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST—
This sweet little guy is almost my neighbor— lives very close to our family. We know them. See below. He needs our prayers. I’ll update as I gain information.
PLEASE PRAY. PLEASE REPOST AND EVERYONE TO PRAY.
The note below was sent to me— it’s from his parents—
————
PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY
Bare with me, as I am in a state of shock.
I’m posting only in hopes of plenty of prayer…
Cannon took a drastic turn for the worst and had a seizure at 1:25am. I called 911, they rushed him to pinehurst.
As the morning went on and all the testing began, Cannons eyes began to cross, and one pupil was larger than the other. Within no time, he’s vitals went haywire, his oxygen plummeted. They found out he contracted meningitis and also has a viral infection in his chest.
He is now on 100% life support and being transferred to UNC.
Our minds and hearts are shattered right now, but only GOD can fix this!!
Please, please pray for a miracle! We want our baby boy back!!
O Lord our God, We humbly ask for Your help.
This little child, Cannon, is in serious trouble with illness.
Please provide for all of his needs, and rescue him.
Thank You for Your compassion and mercy for this baby, especially in his weakened condition.
Comfort and strengthen his parents and all who love Cannon.
Guide the medical team and the treatments.
May You cause good to come from what was intended to harm him.
Grant Cannon health and well-being in the days ahead.
Lord, May he grow to love You, and become a man after Your own heart.
Sustain Cannon, his parents, and all involved with Your Presence, and by Your powerful Word.
For Christ’s sake, amen.
Prayers going up for this little guy. May God help him and his caregivers and get him through this and restore him to full health. Prayers for his family. Jesus, let them feel your presence.
Praying.
May God continue to bless you Ag. The little guy is improving, but still has a long ways to go. Continued prayers are a blessing.
For those who can’t read the full tweet:
Cannon is moving on HIS OWN!! He is moving his head around and moving his left arm!!!
We have had a great day, not only is he moving, he started picking back up on initiative breaths on the vent! he’s still reliant on the vent, but we’re hoping once the pneumonia and the mucus in his chest heals, we will be able to come down on the vent!! They also were able to get his sodium and urine output on a good track and we are now just administering medicine every 12 hours rather than constant IV drip of Vaso! If all continues to go well, we will be able to get the catheter out soon!!
When the doctor came in to check on him himself, he got to see all the little wiggles and small white spikes and stated that we will just ride it out and see where we land!!
We have also noticed than Cannon CAN hear!! When there is noise after he’s been left alone and it’s quite, he moves or his heart rate increases some!!
It’s the little things that win big victories!!!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!
Psalm 86:12
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify the name for evermore.
Please pray for my dear friend and neighbor.
Cathy was diagnosed with kidney cancer that traveled to her leg bones. A few months ago she was walking down her front steps and her leg broke.
her kidney was removed and pins were placed into her leg.
She was doing chemo and radiation but the local hospital recommended that she have her leg amputated.
Cathy went to Vanderbilt and they said she could have a hip replacement soooooo that happened today.
Sadly I just found out that she had a stroke on the operating table.
Please pray for her. She would be the first to say according to Gods will.
thank you
Oh my, Eve. I pray that the Lord would lift Cathy up by His awesome healing power & give her strength. The Lord’s blessings to you.
Hi Joe my precious friend,
Thank you for being so steadfast in your prayers for everyone here🙏😘
Eve, this is heart-wrenching … Cathy’s suffering seems unbearable to observers.
And, at times, she may feel this way … it’s human.
But, we/she know that our God is faithful to sustain her. He promised.
Your last words grabbed me: “She would be the first to say according to Gods will.”
That is a strong declaration of her rock-solid faith in Christ … and an inspiration to others (me).
When we can praise God in the midst of our suffering, people take note and wonder how?
>>
We bless You, merciful Father, for Your Sovereignty over all things … including Cathy.
In Your wisdom, she is going through tremendous suffering and needs You.
Help her to remember that she is a stranger and pilgrim on earth.
Give her grace to accept this sickness as a loving reminder this world is not her home.
Increase in Cathy a greater longing for the joys of heaven – where You are, Lord.
Father, please relieve Cathy’s pain and suffering.
Please show Yourself strong on her behalf.
Bring comfort to her body – physical, emotional, spiritual.
Direct the medical team; give them excellent judgment and skills to help her.
Gracious God, in spite of all Cathy’s physical troubles, please help her to suffer victoriously.
Because You do not allow random pain – nor do You waste it.
You promise to use it for our good – and Your glory – as You weave the tapestry of our lives.
Give Cathy, her family, and all who love her Your perfect peace in days ahead.
Grant them a special sense of Your nearness to them, O God.
Fill their hearts with overflowing joy and gladness … because You are with them.
Lord, May Your mercy and goodness follow them all their days, and they will dwell in Your House forever.
For Christ’s sake, in His Name, Amen.
🙏🏻🥰
Eve, if you can, let us know about Cathy.
May God bless you for being a loving friend to her.
Bringing her to Jesus … that’s precious.
Hello beautiful prayer warrior
you always offer the most perfect words.
I haven’t heard anything yet but I will let you know when I do.
Cathy has a wonderful husband of 50 years and a great family so she has a ton of support. ❤️🙏
🙏🏻🥰
My beautiful friend Cathy passed into the Lord’s arms late last night.
please pray for her family.
🙏❤️
“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.”
Psalm 116:15
Eve, I’m saddened to hear this news about Cathy.
My sympathy is extended to you, her family, and all who loved her.
May God give you all the blessing of His peace in the days ahead.
>>
O Lord, Your tender mercies cover us all … most of which we are unaware.
Thank You for Your compassion and love for all people.
Thank You for bringing Cathy to her eternal home where You are … a place with no more sickness, pain, or sin. A place where You wipe every tear from her eyes.
All because of Jesus.
Lord, please draw Cathy’s family and friends close to You.
Be in every grief-stricken home and in every broken heart.
Comfort them, and provide for all of their needs – physical, emotional, spiritual.
Give them endurance and guidance for the days ahead.
Help them to pass through this deep trial with their faith intact, even strengthened.
Grant them understanding that her death was not meaningless or a mistake.
Rather, it was Your gracious intervention to her suffering.
Help them see, O God, that You are good.
Open their eyes to recognize Your goodness all around them.
As the days go by, may Your Spirit lighten their heavy burden and soothe their aching souls.
Help them to grieve differently than the world, because of the Living Hope You have given believers.
May Cathy’s life and death be a blessing to all those she encountered.
Use her Christian witness to draw them closer to Thee.
Thank You, God, for taking care of all her loved ones left behind.
Remember Cathy’s prayers which she prayed for her family while on earth, especially those “on hold”prayers.
Please bring all of her family into Your kingdom and give them eternal life, too.
Thank You, dear Lord, for all You do.
You, alone, are worthy of our praise and devotion.
For Christ’s sake … Amen.
Blessings to you, too, dear Eve.
🙏🏻🥰
Oh my Miss Della,
I’m just sitting here tonight thinking about Cathy I’m going to miss her friendship very much.
We live in a very small rural town. Two stop signs, no traffic lights at all.
Cathy gave so much to our little community.
thank you for your beautiful words 🙏❤️
Eve, I know this is a deep loss.
May the Lord tenderly touch you and give you His perfect Peace.
🙏🏻🥰
Prayers for newborn baby Owen, who will need to endure several open heart surgeries before his first birthday.
I pray for this precious little one to be healed, in the name of Jesus. God bless you, Rebecca.
Praying-Jesus so loved the little children!
Prayer warriors—I will be leaving my paradise shortly. Please pray for me as I navigate enemy territory. I have been hyped on politics but will give this thread some attention🙏😇
Praying that the Lord be with you in your coming & your going. God keep you safe & bless you, Aggie.
Please Heavenly Father, SET US FREE on Election Day by having President Trump WIN & give us 4 more years ❣️In Jesus Name we pray 🙏
Amen, amen.
Please pray for someone that is close to me that invested a great deal of time and money in obtaining a particular job. After so much hard work and training he was not accepted. He is devastated. Pray for the right job that God intends for him to be doing to show up quickly. I worry for him.
A friend found out that she has breast cancer and she could use some prayer support as well.
Prayers up for you friends .
I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2
>>
Sovereign Lord, You are Ruler over all the earth;
You made it and it belongs to You.
The whole world and everything in it is Yours.
We, Your creatures, are simply stewards.
Gracious God, we give thanks for this beautiful land, the USA.
From its beginning, You have richly blessed this nation – from sea to shining sea.
You gave its people freedom, and a brilliant way of government.
But we have squandered Your many blessings … all of us.
Lord, please forgive us for not seeking You and Your kingdom first in our lives.
Evil is now running rampant;
Wickedness, corruption, and darkness are encroaching quickly upon our land and our personal lives.
You are our Mighty Fortress, and we need Your deliverance, O God.
Lord, we look to You alone to restore righteousness and freedom in this country.
We understand that President Trump is only a vessel in Your hands to lead us.
He is not our Savior, but Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, is our King.
Many people are pleading with You, dear Lord, to show Yourself strong on our behalf – once again.
We do not deserve Your mercy, but humbly ask for Your intervention in today’s election.
Please protect President Trump and his family; protect JD Vance and his family from evil and dangers – seen and unseen.
Guide everyone’s heart and mind to vote rightly so that this great country may turn around from its destruction.
Open people’s eyes and break their hearts over the things that break Yours.
Help them to understand that today’s vote is a choice between freedom or bondage; Light or darkness; blessings or curses; Life or death.
Lord, direct them to choose Life.
Lord, You see eternity from the beginning to the end.
You know what we need – help us surrender our wills to Your perfect will in this election.
May we fix our eyes on eternal things above – not on earthly, temporary matters.
We give thanks for all You have done, are doing, and will do in this situation.
May Your Guiding Light shine brightly on our nation, and in every heart in the days ahead.
Help us return to being “one nation under God.”
Remove, defeat, and destroy our enemies. Bring justice to their evil ways to harm us and mock You.
Make them reap what they have sown – because Your Word declares that Truth.
Help us to trust in You and Your ways with all of our hearts.
May we rest in Your perfect will.
Fill our hearts with Your Peace and Your Presence.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Amen with tears.
And, more tears of thanksgiving this morn, Peter!
Thanks be to God!
Be blessed.
THANK YOU, dear Lord!
We praise You and honor You for such merciful intervention from great intended evil.
Please continue to protect and provide for President Trump, his family, and this great country.
Help us all to never forget how close we were to slipping into the abyss.
Gracious God, may everyone across this land repent and return to You and Your ways … You gave us another chance.
There is much WORK to be done in this nation – and in our personal lives.
May we live in such a God-fearing way to demonstrate our gratitude and thanksgiving to You.
Lord, may You be glorified in and through all of this election, and what is to follow.
May NO man take credit or Your glory for the victory.
It’s only because of you, God.
For Christ’s sake. Amen.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Please pray for my eldest child, who has a small brain bleed and is undergoing observation and testing.
Praying for the Lord to touch your child. God bless you, Constance.
Constance, praying your child is recovering well.
This was the first news I heard when I picked up the Chicago radio stations while cruising just south of Atlanta….prayers for our Leo’s…such a sad situation…and for the family.
https://wgntv.com/news/chicagocrime/cpd-officer-dead-after-shooting-on-south-side/
Prayers for all of our Prodigals who are in a panic over the results of the election and angry with their family members who did not vote “correctly”. My youngest son, who at one time wanted to be a youth pastor, is despondent over “Orange Man” getting back into office and his wife (who is mentally unstable) has announced that anyone who voted for Trump clearly hates women, and thus hates her…
The holidays are approaching and I am assuming that, yet again, our son will decline invites to our home because of her. I know that I am not alone in feeling heartbroken, worried, and more than a little frustrated at the lies being told to our loved ones, by the media, and especially by the father of lies!
Let’s all resolve to pray that the “still, small voice” of the LORD may get through, and that the eyes of our beloved, broken, lost children may be opened, either again or for the first time, to the truth of the Gospel and the endless love of their Heavenly Father!!
“And you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Praying for you and your family vikingmom. Such heartache you are going through. May God give you some peace. May God give your son and DIL some discernment and grace. Blessings to you.
My daughter has been unemployed for 6 months and is becoming very depressed. My wife and I are hurting very badly for her. She lives in another state and of course we will help but unfortunately her confidence and independence is being shattered. Please pray, it hurts. Thank you.
Will definitely lift your family up in prayer Puzzled.
I don’t know anything about your daughter’s situation, but from my own life experiences would offer some things she might consider – temporarily taking a job other than the kind she wants while she continues her search for her preferred employment (it’s easier to get one if you have one), consider that she might have to move to a different area or state, and consider that the reason may be that God has other plans for her and she needs to remain open to infinite possibilities.
I’m sorry, Puzzled. I can’t say I know exactly what she’s going through, but I have been there before when it comes to long-term unemployment. I pray the Lord will have mercy on her & bring her to exactly the right job for her, & that He will ease her hurt & restore her confidence. The Lord bless you.
I recommend that she read a couple of chapters of Dale Carnegie’s book How to Stop Worrying & Start Living. Free online: https://crpf.gov.in/writereaddata/images/pdf/How_To_Stop_Worrying_And_Start_Living.pdf
I also keep the “Stockdale Paradox” discussed in the book Good to Great in mind: “you must maintain unwavering faith that you can and will prevail in the end, regardless of the difficulties, and at the same time, have the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.
I agree with the other comments about taking other roles, looking out of state, see if there are remote options, etc. I pray that she finds the right role for her soon.
I expect the economy will continue to suffer through 2025 at least, but the Trump administration will right the ship and things will improve!
I was laid off May 31 from a company where I worked for 8.5 years without severance. My unemployment was $320 per week, which was reduced if I did any W2 work. I learned this after picking up a part time warehouse job and having the $320 reduced to zero. Strangely, self employment work did not impact the mighty $320 weekly unemployment payment. I am a marketing manager and I focused on finding consulting work while looking for full time opportunities. Now that the unemployment is expired, I will probably pick up a part time job untile I can grow my consulting business enough or I find a new full time opportunity. Thankfully, my wife is a nurse and we get benefits from her job. Things are tight, but we are eking our way forward.
If anyone needs or know someone who might need marketing help (strategy, email, social media, web site, etc.) let me know!
An extra prayer for our dear Treeper “Marcia, retired magistrate…”
Let us continue to life up her brother, (and the family) her brother is fighting the good fight… is in the final stages of ALS from agent orange exposure in the Vietnam War.
He is a Veteran.
Been praying for her and her brother off and off all day. May we all give him thanks for his service to our country and may his passing be gentle. May God continue to bless his sister Marcia and give her comfort. Our ends here are just the beginnings of our new lives with Christ in heaven. That is what I believe.
And another prayer….please keep the daughter of a dear friend of mine…in your prayers. She will be taking the AZMAT(?) test for the USMC, tomorrow. She is a bright young lady. Her Daddy served in the Corps…a Veteran as well now.
Both mom and dad are supportive.
Mom, worries like a mother would. “Mother, the toughest job in the Corps”.
She has passed the first two tests, tomorrow is the final one.
How did she do? Do you know yet?
She did not pass…will retake it soon but not sure when…she did well on all practice tests so I don’t understand….she is a resilient young lady…so we shall see.
I’ve been praying for Marcia’s dear brother. I continue to pray for Citizen. He hasn’t posted in awhile that I’ve seen. May God have mercy.
asking again for prayers for my sister. Many here know what she has gone through. Just after the two year anniversary of Alex’s passing she passed out at home and fell on her face. She has been suffering with intermittent Afib. Ambulance called. BP 48/25 HR 206. She will have an ablation and TEE on Wednesday. She’s only 66. My baby sister has been through so much. May God have mercy on her.
I think of your sister often, Nana. I’m so sorry to hear she had another episode & needs to have this procedure now. I pray that the Lord will lift her up & heal her, that He will allow these procedures to go well, & that He will give her strength for the journey. God bless so very much.
Thank you Joe. Your mom, your aunt and you are in my daily prayers. Thank you for praying for my sister. It means more than you can know.
NanaB…those vital signs make the ICU nurse in me have an adrenalin release. Updates? Praying for all…
Ablation done but two days post she has a blood clot in her leg and is now hospitalized. Thx for asking about her.
prayers for all here for healing and comfort.
happy thanksgiving treepers.
Nana and Joe, keeping you both and your families close in prayer. Praying in unity with Aggie and our fellow Treepers. Lord have mercy!
Thank you JWoo. So nice to see you again! Hope your kitties will give you some sleep tonight.
Praying that the Lord would remove her blood clot.
Please pray for my nephew Ryan. He’s 20 years old, and in the hospital fighting for his life with an agressive infection. He is a handsome, fun-loving, righteous young man. It’s hard to see him in so much pain.
May God help Ryan heal quickly and fully.
Prayers of healing for your nephew Ryan. May the hand of the Lord touch him & remove this infection from his entire body. We ask it done in Jesus’ mighty name. God bless, Jen.
Praying for Ryan.
Dear Jesus, please help this young man heal and recover so that he may do Your will. Help his family in this journey. Amen.
Praying for God to heal Ryan fully
Big prayers please…the third Deputy has passed away. Our dedicated Law Enforcers never know if they will come home at the end of their watch.
https://www.wpbf.com/article/florida-crash-southern-boulevard-palm-beach-county/62976256
“A third Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy has died after being involved in a crash on Southern Boulevard last week. Deputy Ignacio “Dan” Diaz passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, due to injuries sustained in the crash.”
My daughter is grieving hard…she is a PBSD…she knows two of them.
So very sorry to hear this, Aggie. May our Lord have mercy on those struggling with this terrible loss.
This is just so very sad. Prayers for the officers that died and their families as well as for your daughter Aggiegirl.
Dear Lord,
as we are fraught with and distracted by worries, please hear the prayers of Your faithful, especially here. Bring healing where it is needed. Bring peace to each one…and the world. May we be ever mindful of what we truly have to be Thankful for as we enter a political cycle coinciding soon, with Advent…Hear our prayers, help us to be worthy of the promises of our Savior and Redeemer, Amen.
May God bless all of those here, seeking prayers.
Beautiful prayer Aggiegirl. Thank you.
You are welcome! I see and read most of the prayers…and want to respond to all…sometimes, its the best way I know how….
Please pray for my hubs, he has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig Disease, otherwise known as ALS…..the going will be hard on him, but he is a follower of Jesus, so he has the hope of Heaven,,,it’s just the getting there is going to be horrific for him, pray for his ease…..we have a third opinion on this in January…..
Praying the Lord would ease both your pain through this horrible trial, & for healing according to His will. God bless you, cherp.
Praying hard…for healing…remission or a cure…and for strength for all…
Cherp, I will keep you and your husband in my daily prayers. Maybe third opinion will be different…I will pray.
Please keep in mind, all the grieving families, that have empty seats at their tables…
Lord, we ask you to comfort them during these painful times, Amen.
Also, for those who may not have been invited anywhere on this Thanksgiving day, having no family or friends who care about them. There are many who suffer silently, especially during the holidays.
For those good souls who might be stopping by for a prayer or just for some simple companionship, you are always welcome at our table here at the Conservative Treehouse.
Am a little late, but yes…for those who endured the solitude and the upcoming time of Christmas. I am one of those but am able to keep busy…while thankful for the memories of times gone by…
Lord. remind those who may be sad or depressed during the holidays, these times where family and friends are emphasized in the world…that they are not alone…that they have you Lord, to offer comfort and your never ending love. Amen
Some churches will do a Blue Christmas Service. It is for all those in the community that are grieving lost loved ones, and it is also for anyone that has a rough go during the holiday season. They are wonderful to attend. I hope people will look to see if one is in their area. This year the two I attend are on the same night:(
Every day is a gift.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of my dearest friend, Willetta. And for her beloved husband Rob that he manages thru the empty days, who gives blessed meaning to “in sickness and in health…til death us do part”. He gave his wife the best care…but God called her home to Him…she is now reunited with her beloved parents, sister and other relatives.
We had a deep friendship that lasted…in spite of adolescent spats and long periods of no contact…she even came to visit us in the Canal Zone. We went to many of the old forts and other site seeing venues…when we came up on home leave, she would stay with us at the hotel…we’d go to the beach…swim in the pool…collect shells…OMG…so long ago…the most profound memory I have is her going in to her house, sobbing as the taxi pulled away from my house when my mom and I went to join my dad in Panama…(she lived two houses away)….
Her heart always saw the good in people. Always.
I just found out, so am sorry for the rambling …my BFF from 6th…passed away on November 5th…she had MS and it was a long and painful journey with many hospitalizations…I was distracted with my daughter and her issues with big house repairs…and told my self, next trip in January, we’ll get together…I did not even try to call…am consumed with guilt over that. Especially since she had been on my mind, heavily, these past weeks, before I found out…
She lived 85 miles from me in FL…just enough to deter me from driving….
Pray for me to be a better friend to those I have…Thanks all!
Oh dear Aggiegirl. Don’t beat yourself up. Your friend was on your mind and God saw that. Now your friend is in Heaven and she knows how you loved her and understands all. When it’s your time no doubt she will be waiting for you along with your other relatives and friends. Be kind…to yourself. You’re so kind to all here…be kind to yourself. God has this.
Oh Aggie, I’m not sure how you could possibly be a better friend than you are. You’re always interceding & asking for prayer when one is in need. What happened here is not your fault, it’s just that sometimes in this life so much happens it’s hard to be able to make time for it all. God knows & understands that.
No worries, she knows you loved her, and that is what counts.
Please pray for my friend, Glenda, her aunt Clara and uncle Wayne who all live in FL.
Glenda has no other living relatives and has just finished taking care of another aunt’s estate. The passing of this aunt was difficult as she lived several hours drive away and Glenda does not do well with driving. However, she has made great sacrifices to help; taking in the dog left behind when the aunt passed away, getting the house ready to sell, going through probate, etc. All very stressful.
Now, Aunt Clara fell 2 weeks ago and fractured her spine in 2 places and Uncle Wayne (Clara’s husband) who is 88 was discovered laying on the floor of their house five days ago and he has been transported to a hospital different from where Clara is. Clara (age 88) will be discharged on Monday, December 9 and will need assistance. Wayne is being sent to a nursing home. He has dementia that has deteriorated since Clara’s hospitalization. Neither Clara nor Wayne will be able to go back home.
They live about 3 hours drive from Glenda, and there is no one else who can help them. Glenda needs prayer as she has no one that can share the burden of taking care of her aunts. All her other family members have passed on, and she is not in good health herself.
This is a tremendous amount of stress for Glenda, and Clara is distraught over being now disabled and separated from Wayne. Glenda does not have power of attorney or any legal documents that would give her the right to help them.
Thank you so much for your earnest prayers for these people. It is terrible to become old and infirm without anyone to care for you.
Prayers for Glenda, Clara and Wayne. May God lead Glenda to helping souls…social worker from the hospital or clergy from the hospital to help reunite Clara and Wayne.
Sending prayers for all involved here. There is a situation with a few similarities to this playing out in my own family right now, so I can sympathize. The Lord bless you, Jann.
This seems such a picayune request compared to NC and everything else going on in the world right now.
One of the three 11-yr old cats I raised from 1/2 day old kittens has stopped eating and will only stare at her food dish, getting very low energy now, very unlike her. I can’t take off from work to get her to the vets (because I had to take too much time off for replacing joints) and they can’t see her until Saturday morning and I hope she lasts that long. She’s always been thin, fast metabolism, and a picky eater. I put a blanket down for her to lie on near the propane heater so she can stay warm. I can’t afford huge medical bills, so if it’s something serious I’ll have to say goodbye to her. Cutie Pi (I’m partly a math teacher), a little dark medium haired tabby.
Thank all of you so much.
Praying for the Lord to touch your dear little furry one. Blessings.
Thank you.
Following, Your words squeezed my heart, and I’m sorry about your dilemma …
I understand that feeling when our trials are lesser than others.
But, still – they’re ours and are real.
The good news is that God tells us to “cast our cares on Him, for He cares for us.” (1 Peter 5:7)
Thank the Lord, He means ALL of our concerns!
I prayed for you and your kitty, Following.
May God give you His comfort, strength, and guidance.
May He fill your heart with peace – no matter what.
Leaving a Bible verse here that has meant a lot to me:
>
“In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”
Job 12:10
🥰🙏🏻
Thank you. I don’t post much (CTH is the only social media I’ve ever posted on) but I try to read it everyday, and I know you are a wonderful person. Thank you again.
Following, Though your words are appreciated … I must confess:
I’m not a wonderful person – but it’s Christ in me. He helps me in all things.
But, I do understand what you’re saying.
Just want to clarify so the Glory goes to God.
I’ve missed your postings, Following, and hope to see you more!
Blessings to you …
🥰
So I came home after I made this post, and she wasn’t on her blanket where I’d seen her in the morning, and I worried. But then she showed up at my feet and meowed aloud (which she hadn’t done for a few days). I took the untouched food and milk out to the porch kitties and opened a new can of food for her, not expecting much.
She put her head in the dish and cleaned it up.
Between last night and this morning she ate as much as she did between Saturday and Wednesday. I’m guessing it was a *really* bad cold/flu, but whatever, all I had to do was post and she was better. The power of prayer!
THANK YOU ALL!
So very happy to hear this update. Blessings to you and your furry friend. May your kitty be well on her way to health. Sleep well.
Praise the Lord! He does care for all His creatures.
Update:
She went downhill Friday after I cancelled her Saturday appointment. I took her to the vet Saturday afternoon (emergency fee) and she has congestive heart failure, was 7.4 pounds when she was healthy, she was 6.3 on Saturday. As of this morning the furosemide isn’t working well; I’ll see if she’s still around when I get home this evening. Cried all the way to work. At least her two sisters seem ok for now, but I’m supposed to keep an eye on them too since it’s genetic, according to the vet, who is excellent.
Following, I’m sorry about your kitty’s condition.
It helps to know the diagnosis, but certainly doesn’t make it easier to bear.
Was the vet able to give a timeline for CHF, or is it imminent?
I will pray for you, Following … and, for your precious furry friend.
May the Lord provide you both with everything needed.
May God comfort you both, and give you strength and peace in days ahead.
🙏🏻🥰
No timeline. I had another cat with heart failure who lasted 1 1/2 years on this medicine.
After pilling her yesterday morning she met me at the door last night and wanted food, and actually ate most of a small can, and I was encouraged, but this morning she wasn’t doing well again. I pilled her again this morning (a bare token protest) after trying two different foods with ground up pill in it, which she didn’t really touch. She was “planking,” crouching with her front feet together, a position that the vet said they take when they’re in pain (angina). If she isn’t better again tonight, I’ll call the vet tomorrow and get another appointment for her. Her quality of life is not good right now.
Thank you for your concern, I really appreciate it. Thank you for your prayers.
🙏🏻🥰
When I got home she was not moving and yowling. I sat with her for 45 minutes waiting for the vet to call back (after hours), she finally did, I drove 1 hr 15 min to the vet, got there at 1 AM, there was no hope.
I told her to wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge.
I’ll pick up her ashes next week. I cried all the way home.
Thank you for caring.
Following, my condolences and heart go out to you …
This has been such a difficult time and position to be in.
It took strength and courage to do what needs to happen.
I know it’s mentally and emotionally exhausting, too.
I pray that the Lord will hold you close in the days ahead.
May He comfort you in your pain, and give you His peace.
Blessings, Following.
🙏🏻🥰✝️
Thank you so much, Miss Della. I know peace will come again, I’ve been through this before, but it’s just hard right now.
Having the support of the good people in the Treehouse helps, it really does. Thank you again.
Following, we’ve given up several cats and a dog over the years.
Since they’re part of the family, they do take a piece of our heart with them.
But God does heal our hearts – in His tender way and time!
I am sorry this has happened during the holidays tho.
Grief just means you loved.
🙏🏻🥰
Hello beautiful prayer warriors,
3 month update. Had my every 3 month pet/ct scan yesterday morning. I gotta tell you for a few days before my scan I am very nervous, I pray a lot that all goes well. Then the waiting for the results comes with more anxiety 😬. I’m very lucky that I get the results in 24 hours soooo
Turns out I am stable. A small change but nothing too worry about Praise God. Still a few lymph nodes with cancer but the entire rest of my organs and bones are aok 😄 whoo hoo.
So here in Tennessee we can get Ivermectin over the counter so I did. We’ll see if that helps, fingers crossed.
The next scan is in March. At that time I’ll be in my new beautiful cedar greenhouse planting seeds for 9 raised beds and my corn field. Probably doing 18 sauce tomatoes this season. Plus a whole lot more.
hubby and I are going to adopt a couple of kittens next week now that we know I’m doing ok. Can’t wait to have a couple of stinkers running around.
As always I’m praying for you all 🙏❤️.
on my chicken coop I have a sign that says. I chose joy.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Peace and love,
Eve
Hello Eve … so glad to hear this good news!
Hopefully with the anxiety lifted, you and your family will enjoy the Christmas season and new year with a special sense of wonder.
Just hearing about your new kittens made me smile – and envious, I admit.
Baby kitties are the best – and so much fun!
I’m thanking the Lord right now, Eve, for His merciful blessings on you!
Thank you for letting everyone know so we can join you with grateful hearts.
Not interfering with your health decisions, but, it sounds like Ivermectin could be promising.
I would try it, too, Eve.
Merry Christmas to you, Eve … and to your loved ones.
May God continue to bless and heal you.
May He fill you with His peace and joy.
And make His face shine upon you.
ps: Love your chicken coop sign! You are testifying everywhere!
🥰🙏🏻🎄
I so love you Miss. Della. B
And, I love you, Eve – my sister in Christ!
You’ve become very special to me thru your posts and struggles.
Though we’re separated by a “screen”, please know my heart is with you.
It’s been a joy to talk with the Lord on your behalf.
Shalom, shalom (perfect peace!)
💕🙏🏻
❤️🙏
Such wonderful news! Cherish this news and enjoy the holidays without a sense of worry and fear and yes…plan for the spring and inviting new kittens into your family! Rejoice!
Love you Nana. ❤️🙏
I always love to read your good news, Eve. It brings joy to my heart, & I praise God for it. Be blessed, dear sister.
Hello! Dear Joe,
you are a true friend sir. Merry Christmas 🎄
What a wonderful Christmas present. You must be overjoyed! And little kitties to boot…presents come in all shapes and sizes.May our Lord continue to bless you and have a wonderful Christmas,Bcsurvivor2. Casco 🙂
Merry Christmas Casco,
we are looking into adopting 2 Mainecoon/Ragdoll kittens. I kinda think we are just a wee bit crazy because they are BIG cats but have great temperaments. I hope we get to bring them home.
Just popped in with a hubs update,,,,,,,,,,we had another neurologist cancel on us, so the next “scheduled” appointment will now be in February. Yeah, right. Hubs neuro NP is seeing him in January, she is the only one getting things done for him. Hubs wants a muscle biopsy to prove once and for all this is Lou Gehrigs, but, honestly, he ate a massive Thanksgiving dinner and lost 2 more pounds. Prayers welcome
Praying, cherp. God keep you & your husband through this trial.
Lingered here in prayer for you both. Whatever may lay ahead, may you both be infused with the Peace and Comfort brought by the Holy Ghost.
Cherp, I’m sorry for your hubs’ great trial of sickness and all it involves.
I will pray for you all.
May the Lord God give hubs everything he needs – now and in days ahead.
May God make a way when there seems to be no way.
May He fill your hearts with peace and cheer as you remember the Lord is in control.
All things are possible with God; may His good and perfect will be done.
May the Lord help you all face the journey with courage and strength.
May God give you both a strong sense of His presence, knowing He is right beside you.
May He satisfy you both with His lovingkindness – moment by moment.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
🙏🏻
Please pray for Sue M. who has lost her son and husband recently.
I’ve rarely post here but read and pray for those in need. I lost my husband and son close together and it can be devastating. My prayers 🙏 to Sue M. Our heavenly Father knows our pain and promises his strength if we believe and lean on him. May Sue M. have peace from our savior, JESUS CHRIST🙏🙏
Amen.
🙏🏻
Soovajian, I offer prayer for Sue that God will be near her in a special way.
As she walks through this dark valley of sorrow, may He comfort and strengthen her.
The Lord came to heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds.
May He tenderly care for Sue with an abundance of mercy and compassion.
May God meet all of her needs in the days beyond.
For Christ’s sake, in the name of Jesus.
🥰
This is a hard one to pray for, given the crimes involved and alleged past crimes he was acquitted of…I don’t have the right words, but I get disturbed when I read of death warrants being implemented. I pray for the man’s redemption and…the forgiveness from a loving Father in Heaven.
And most of all for the continued peaceful repose of those he killed, and the family who still live with this awful memory.
https://wgntv.com/northwest-indiana/indiana-man-who-killed-4-will-be-put-to-death-wednesday-in-states-1st-execution-in-15-years/
Sad story. Prayers for peace for his remaining family too.
Please intercessory Prayers for Jan Marie a dear Sister in Christ who suffers from both PTSD and fibromyalgia that God will heal and center her so she is constant in her thoughts and that her pain does not obscure the truth. Events are way beyond my understanding but Christ knows all things. Thank you.
Hello Treeper friends,
Wanted to share this message about prayer with you … it is so helpful!
The author, Pastor Alistair Begg, has been a spiritual mentor of mine for many years.
I pray for all who pass through this “special” place of CTH – that you will know God loves you!
God loves you so much that He gave His One and only Son, Jesus, to die for you.
So you might be saved from your sins.
This is truly what Christmas is about!
Merry Christmas to all.
🙏🏻✝️🎄

I join you in your prayer. Merry Christmas Della and God Bless.
I have been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I can feel the congestion in my heart and hear the rattles in my lungs. I’m having a hard time breathing — can’t take in a full breath of air. It’s frightening and I have a hard time staying calm. Please pray. Thank you.
Hello John, I’m sorry for this severe physical difficulty you’re having, and will pray for you.
Since you have a diagnosis now, is there anything more the doctor can do to make you comfortable?
John, I haven’t experienced this type of ailment and it sounds unnerving.
But, I do know that God will help us with all our fears and trials – though varied.
Please remember that the Lord is with you and His eye is upon you.
Your times are in His hands – and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
May the Lord God provide all of your needs in the days ahead – physical, emotional, spiritual.
May He ease your breathing, and most of all, your fear.
May the Lord give you comfort and relief from this suffering.
May He grant you His Peace – The Lord is the Prince of Peace and upholds all things by His powerful Word.
Dear Lord, please help John, and minister to him in every way.
Cover John with Your mercy and compassion.
Give him abundant grace for the journey he’s facing.
Shine the light of Your face upon John, O God.
Please bring good out of this difficult situation.
In the name of Jesus, our Lord.
Amen.
🙏🏻✝️
Praying that the Lord would touch you with His peace, putting breath into your body, & that He would heal your heart. The Lord loves you abundantly, & the Bible tells us that perfect love casts out fear. I pray you will rest in that. The Lord bless you, John.
I cannot add anything to the lovely prayers of our prayer warriors…but know I feel the same loving goodness for you!
Am a day late…but…it sounds like you need to call 911….(am an ICU nurse of many years)…
John, if its not getting better and you are struggling…. Call 911.
Staying calm in the face of trying to breathe is common and often makes one feel worse, does not make you feel better, I know.
Keep us posted.
Than you all for your thoughts and prayers. My family came and prayed over me. I’ve experienced some relief. Tomorrow I will start a course of a high-power diuretic to try to get rid of the lung and heart congestion.
Prayers please…I don’t know what this means….if a sign from above, but it did make me think…
I don’t know if the Good Lord is sending me a message…was at the Speedway gas station, parked in front of the building and alongside me, pulls up a dignified van with logos…for cremation, burial and other ‘vaults’….with a burial vault on the trailer…I must have been staring because as the driver got out and walked in front of my car, he smiled…and gave a small wave….
Prayers at this blessed time of year…but most of all…for the cold hearts that do evil…the following crime makes me cringe…as do those who try to commit suicide in much the same manner, although not as popular a method as in the early 80’s in the southeast.
Dear Lord, cure what ails these people, soften their hearts…to not sin again…and bring peace and your love to the victim, bring her to your glorious home in Heaven. May her pains be a sacrifice towards Jesus, and the pains he suffered. Dear God, we are a world in pain and anger…bring us your Peace. Amen.

I know that more serious issues require prayer, and I pray for all requests.
I asked for prayers here and prayed for my daughter to find a job. She had been out of work for 7 months and her unemployment ran out. She was becoming depressed.
A prayer I was saying asked Jesus to provide help in his perfect timing. Well Christmas Eve she received a job offer via e-mail, she asked for a bit more salary and her new employer phoned her early evening on Christmas Eve to meet her part way. She starts in January; prayers are answered in Jesus’ timing and his way.
Praise God for that! Blessings to you & your daughter, Puzzled.
My husband suffered a stroke last week, he is due for surgery this Friday.
We have been married for 48 years and have a wonderful son. My husband is the light of my life, “my everything”.
Because of my father’s disapproval of the marriage, the whole family has distanced from us all these years and never offered any type of support. It feels like the three of us against the world. But I pray frequently.
Thank you all for any prayers.
(I am also the one who got scammed away all of our life’s savings a few months ago.)
Praying that the Lord will touch your husband & heal him of any effects from the stroke, & that He might guide the surgeons during the procedure for a successful outcome & a full recovery. God bless you both, Vimmie.
Prayers for my husband’s niece. She tried to commit suicide by drinking and taking pills and going outside in freezing weather and hiding in the woods. She was found under a tree with a body temperature of 75 and taken to hospital.
She has been a caretaker for 26 years. She gave birth to her daughter in her mid twenties. Her daughter has Down syndrome and still lives with mom and Dad today. Our niece chose to have no other children.
For the past eight years she has been caring with her Dad for her mother who had Alzheimer’s . Her mother was diagnosed in 2016, and it went slowly at first but deteriorated severely after the Covid vaccine in 2021. Her mother died in 2024. Her mother’s deterioration was very bad and violent the last few years. It was very hard on our niece’s husband and father and they both retreated into work as men often do.
Our niece is worried she too will get Alzheimer’s as not only her mother but her grandmother also died from the disease.
Sadly, her parents did not raise her with any sense of God. Please pray that she will reach out to feel the loving arms of Jesus.
This is so sad. Yes, Jesus is the only One Who can heal this poor dear woman’s hurting heart. I pray that He will draw her to Himself & that she will respond, only to find a love like she never knew. God bless you, Jazzbogie.
Thank you. And may God bless you too.
