A lot of people are calling this one of President Trump’s greatest interviews; if not – perhaps the best ever.
Dr. Phil had a lengthy interview with President Trump, drilling down on how Trump deals with being the target of so much vitriol, hatred and weaponized targeting from every facet of the American system of government. I think the interview is being well received because the questions go beyond talking about the details of the targeting and focus on the emotional part of how President Trump and his family deal with it.
These are the types of questions that ordinary supporters of the MAGA effort would likely ask President Trump. WATCH:

Interesting that Ohp rah was mentioned at least three times.
-very
Dr. Phil is Oprah’s protege and she once considered Trump a friend until turning on him in 2015. Phil McGraw would be nobody without Oprah’s financial/production backing for his show.
Oy… lighten up. Dr. Phil, was successful before Oprah. She HIRED him to help her with the Cattleman lawsuit. He was good at what he did- she brought him in as a guest and he was so popular she later produced his show.
Lots of shows fail in 6 months or a year- He has been on the air for over 30 years- If you are not good, people switch the channel. Oprah made a LOT of money on Dr. Phil.
Oprah has made herself too extreme..Phil’s looking to bridge the gap..Trump has a tin of supporters that will welcome his honesty and fairness. Ratings?
Oprah’s most stupid remark ever was, “She’s not coming over to your house! You don’t have to like her.”
UH, the White House IS OUR HOUSE! And she plans on staying for another 8 years, OR MORE.
Hillzebub Clinton. Will forever be grateful to The Donald for keeping that witch out of our White House.
Thank You Denise. I would have said the same. I once worked with a gent in Texas who did much the same type of work for trial attorneys as Dr. Phil, so I know of which he speaks, and of the many fine attorneys hailing from the mostly great state of Texas. 😉
On a side note, interesting to me anyway, is that there are a lot of people who owe President Trump a hand in their fame and/or a resurgence of their B, C and D-rated careers through the use of his Celebrity Apprentice, which is why Clifford was sniffing around him in the first place.
There are people on that show that many would never have known if not for him and that show. The same thing goes for businesses. He made their names household names.
A lot of the now rabid anti-Trumpers were only too happy to be on Celebrity Apprentice to revive their DEAD careers.
Is he off network TV now?
He’s made tens of millions on his own. Is PT trying to flip Oprah?
President Trump is very loyal. You can see that it puzzles and hurts his feelings when old friends turn against him.
He was no stranger to nasty business tricks. But a knife in the back over politics clearly doesn’t compute for him.
He is pragmatic. He looks at the facts of the US when he was in office vs facts of what it is now.
Like me, he can’t comprehend why ANYONE would choose ideology over what is best for US citizens and our beloved country.
For decades he has paid his own way. She introduced him to the world but he didn’t need her propping him up.
Yes, Oprah is his friend. He was PDJT’s friend before 2015 also. Wonder how O feels about Dr Phil agreeing with most of PDJT’s policies? Probably has written him off too.
Gosh darn it my big thumb accidentally hit flag. So sorry!!!
Isn’t Oprah a pedo? I tried to find the photo of her with a scared looking young girl and Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein looked like he was trying to pick up on the girl and Oprah was offering the young woman up. It was very unsettling.
Reese Witherspoon.

Not Reese Witherspoon.
The body language on that young lady is damning.
The look on Oprah’s face is, too.
Evil sandwich.
I checked before I posted it by plugging in all three names into the web search.
I checked again, I found a similar picture stating it is Rita Ora. I stand corrected.
Let us not forget
“Drain the swamp” was and is necessary to MAGA.
Forgiveness is not required
—————
They forgot:
“WINNING will be RETRIBUTION”
abc — enemies of the people?
Trump must make certain that JUSTICE is done. If the swamp demons suffer no consequences for their evil deeds, they will continue to destroy the Republic. There must be one tier to our justice system. Elites, regardless of party, must suffer real and painful consequences for their treasonous actions.
Correct! Trump must realize that the leftwing Marxists are not going anywhere. They will still be operational. And, word to the wise, it’s not intelligent to think they are not cooking up their next get-Trump scandal.
Moreover, I have a suggestion for Pres. Trump and Dr. Phil. Send Dr. Phil to talk to Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, Tish James, etc. TELL THEM the wonderful opportunity they have to bury the hatchet, to put the people first. TELL THEM THAT REVENGE is an unhealthy activity. TELL THEM TO DROP THIER CHARGES. Let’s see what they say.
Actually, I believe that Phil’s suggestion is on the same, naive, idealist level as Obama’s unilateral disarmament policy.
As economist Milton Friedman once said (or words to that effect), ‘if the world were full of angels ‘ we’d have no worries who was in power.
Lastly, the media has grabbed hold of the word ‘revenge,’ because it’s the perfect vehicle and sophistry for their sinister purposes. Pres. Trump should correct those who bring this word up or use it improperly. It’s not revenge, it’s VINDICATION. Revenge does not comport with our Constitution. VINDICATION does!
Vindication relieves the innocent of the stain of culpability. It also proclaims and identifies the guilty parties by presentation of evidence against them.
This is not revenge! This is justice.
It’s not the government. It’s the disgusting arrogant narcissistic assholes who work there. Fire the all
It’s really about all these barking seals who rely upon gubmint handouts. It’s certainly not President Trump’s fault that we, the people, sent him into a DC brimming with fascists tossing fish heads to placate barking seals.
It’s up to the lazy seals to seek a more reliable, dare I say SUSTAINABLE food source for our hearts, minds AND stomachs.
Turn off fake news, for one. Get self sufficient, for two. Then roll up our sleeves, giving NO quarter to the leeches sucking the lifeblood out of our Constitutional Republic.
Trumps Project MAGA to Save America == multiple phases.
Phase One == Drain the Swamp
Drain the Swamp == REVEALING what’s been hidden beneath the surface plus revealing the swamps feeder systems and guardians.
Drain the Swamp =/= Junk REMOVAL/CLEANUP or RESTORATION Phases.
Those who conflate these phases are more prone to being damaged by malevolent psyops.
It’s easy to use the phrase “drain the swamp”, but harder — a lot harder — to actually do it. We need to discuss — before November — what “draining the swamp” actually would mean. Who needs to be sacked? Who can’t be sacked, but could be sidelined into a position of no power? What can be done to make sure that, ten years from now, the swamp-dwellers have not actually crept back into power?
The most important areas to re-populate with pro-Americans are
… (1) The military. I believe the rot is pretty much confined to the top, and, even there, there are probably people who don’t believe the ‘woke’ insanity but who are just going along for the sake of their pensions. Not admirable, but understandable. It’s the True Believers who need to be given early retirement.
Then, we need to take steps to make it as difficult as possible for this to happen again: we need to re-introduce pro-American education into the military. A young recruit may have come through a Left-dominated school system where he has been taught that the history of America is the history of racist genocide. We have to reverse this.
… (2) The FBI, CIA and the other nearly-dozen agencies concerned with national security. The same goes for them, as for the military. The rot is probably mainly at the top. (Some people carelessly say, “Abolish the three-letter agencies,” but it they thought about it, they would realize this would be, in the real world, national suicide.)
… (3) Finally, the educational institutions, the universities and the schools. This is where the rot started, as the 60’s generation went into teaching and brought their skepticism and outrate anti-Americanism with them. Because we believe in academic freedom, this will be the hardest task of all.
We can’t do it in one clean sweep. Anyone who thinks we can, knows zero about the political/legal realities, and is just engaging in mental self-pleasuring.
There are lots of little things we can do, and, as opposed to (1) and (2), we can do them right now where we already have governmental power (at the state and local levels). Thank goodness for the Federal System, which means our educational institutions (unlike the military and security agencies) are NOT (very) Federal.
Some examples: require every class in every school to recite the Pledge of Allegiance daily (with exceptions for those who have personal objections to doing this, like the Jehovah’s Witnesses). Require every class to have a large American flag on its wall. Require the curriculum in all state schools to include serious American history — there are many excellent YouTube videos which carry the right message, so we don’t have to rely on America-despising teachers to teach something they don’t believe in — they just have to show the video.
And require schools to actually teach facts, as opposed to the political opinions of the teachers. (I’m in the education professon, and I have to read academic articles by the people who train maths teachers, who teach them that pi and Pythagoras are racist! I’m not making this up.)
The model here is ‘direct instruction’ [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_instruction ] and the wonderful Michaela Community School [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michaela_Community_School ] in the UK, which have been shown to far out-perform schools which use ‘progressive education’, ‘child-centred teaching’, etc.
We should do everything we can to get real education re-introduced into the public schools. But even better, we should fight for serious School Choice everywhere we can. (However, we must make sure that even in freely-chosen schools, proper educational methods are used. Parents, especially from non-middle-class backgrounds, have a very difficult time trying to ascertain whether a particular Charter School is actually substantially better than the local public school. We have to impose standards, via government. A pure Free Market approach is not enough.)
———————————————————————————————
I am sure there is much more to be said about this: we should start discussing it now, in every possible forum, online and off.
I like many of your ideas, but many of these functions/ institutions instead of being closed, sidelined or decreased n size need rather to be explicitly divided and devolved to the states or local governments. It is only by reestablishing true Federalism that we can slow down the inevitable reaccumulation of power by the administrative state.
Term limits on ALL govt employees would drain alot of the toxic water.
My son just finished 8th grade (end of middle school) history in public school. In those 3 years, he covered PA colonial history up to the Civil War / Lincoln, North America history from Alaskan land bridge settlements from Asia (first peoples) and ancient Europe, to colonial settlement up to the Constitutional Congress, then this year (pre-) Revolutionary War again and they only got as far as the Restoration period.
High School Social Studies is going to be Civil War again, back to European Roman Empire and feudal history, then early US Industrialization (sharecropping and suffrage) up to WW1, then Great Depression / New Deal progressivism and some WW2. And that should round out high school.
And we just celebrated the 80th anniversary of Normandy. There’s a LOT more bits of history they should cover now, from the communist Cold War, Korea to social unrest, to Vietnam, Berlin Wall, then Regan’s defeat of USSR, social progress of 1990s, Iraq war, 9/11, Afghanistan, Obama’s social unrest, Trump’s financial boom to Biden’s hyperinflation.
Our early education system is overly focused on the 1700-1900 period in my opinion. Kids get a lot of context on European strife, ancient grievances, slavery… but none of the corrective actions over the last century. We wont get how Democrats and socialism have repeatedly created the problems facing our nation today, and how conservatism and honest discussion (not DEI social quotas) got us out. History is flawed, but we have allowed the education system to go on autopilot and pick and choose political viewpoints that reinforce neoliberalism and socialism (as solutions), twisting fascist violence into “anti-fascism” and sowing racial animosity. It’s no wonder kids are overly focused on racial problems, that’s all they are taught.
Retired 8 years ago. The most we got to was some of Vietnam in American History. As you well know 50 years of history not being taught.
Could this be changed, yes. It would take a complete restructuring of the course. No one seems to want to undertake that challenge.
The Rockerfellers still sell our schools their wierd historical view. Throw in Darwin Kepler Einstein and the rest of the make believe world and the kids leave school confused and bewildered about the world and how they fit or more importantly dont fit. And you have the world we live in. Teach them that a Creator loves them enough to create this world for us to enjoy and take care of you would have world peace. How else can they hide God Tell u we live on a globe spinning 1000 miles an hour chasing the sun thru the universe at 66,000 miles an hour you know have kids believing they are insignificant similar to Ants. Follow up with a fake moon landing and you Well you know have a mess. All while the stars come over every night the North Star hasn’t moved since Jesus was born. LIES LIES LIES.
Academic institutions… here’s an idea:
De-nationalize Financial Aid… take it back to private institutions, like it used to be before Obola.
Then let them apply a simple metric: “What is the risk?”…. That is, will borrowing $250K to get a four year BA in Orthodox Lesbian Studies allow the graduate to repay the loan.
In no time at all, all of those useless degrees and all the “free money” will go away. All of those “professors” will lose their jobs, there will be pressure on universities to lower their costs and perhaps vocational schools can make a come back.
Surely, a journey-wo-man brick layer with a penchant on reading books about “orthodox lesbian sociology” will be better for society ( and less loans ) than a PhD on such field.
Brilliant.
Concur on many points. So now, let’s also consider the Allies’ methodology for de-nazification of post-WWII Germany: Some lower level bureau-rats were retained for their administrative functionality, on the proviso that it was a highly visible, highly conditional clemency: A chance to redeem/rehabilitate themselves from their role in the previous power structure. Meanwhile, the bigger rats who attempted to disguise themselves thus could eventually be dug out and punished over time. Simon Wiesenthal, where are you…?
My 2 cents on this, anyway
No forgive and no forget. Target and destroy.
Fair & impartial justice must be restored. That is going to require consequences for those who violated the law & deprived President Trump & all of his supporters of our unalienable rights. President Trump must seek justice – not revenge – JUSTICE.
Better if this result eventuates from PDJT’s selection and support of solid, legitimate Constitutional appointees who thoroughly clean their respective houses as needed, rather than conduct a personalized vendetta that he would certainly consider a waste of his time.
I don’t just love this man, I’m inspired by his tenacity. He truly is remarkable.
Trump is bigger than the Beatles.
And Slim Whitman. 🙂
Two points I very strongly disagree with PDJT in that interview.
The first is foreign investment – when the subject was China buying up massive amounts of farmland – much of it around military bases. PDJT said, “we have to be careful, we want foreign investment.”
I say absolutely a law should be passed banning all foreign entities – be they people or corporations – from buying ANY farm land or any other land greater than 5 acres. In the case of a foreign entity wanting to build a business, manufacturing plant, etc. – LEASED land. Same thing goes with housing – NO foreign ownership of houses, LEASES only.
The other was on immigration. We do NOT need immigration. In fact, we should do what was done in the past – place a moratorium on all immigration for at least 10 years, if not 20 years. While we’re at it, need to pass laws that absolutely forbid, without exception, non-citizens from getting a single, solitary penny of taxpayer money in any form or fashion – legal immigrant or illegal, doesn’t matter. If you can’t support yourself, we don’t want you.
Anyone that says, “well, the population is shrinking” – there is an easy fix for that. Outlaw trans surgeries, make incentives for children born of citizens in marriage, stop abortions, quit attacking the nuclear family.
NO COMMUNISTS
The population implosion is our most important long-term problem. But there is no “easy fix”. The population is imploding in all countries where women get a decent education, even in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Scandanavian countries have tried ‘making incentives’ and it’s helped a bit, but not nearly enough to get the fertility rate back above 2.0 (the rate at which a population just reproduces its numbers). “Stopping abortion” will only work, and not even very much there, in the states which outlaw it. (There, the ‘morning after’ pill will become easily available on the black market, and/or women who want an abortion will just go to liberal-run states.) As ‘quit attacking the nuclear family’, that’s a good idea in itself, but it’s not going to induce women to give up a career in order to stay at home and raise babies. We mustn’t kid ourselves here.
What we have to do — if we can — is to make it possible for women to have a career, AND to have children at the same time. This will involve a lot of anti-free-market government intervention: the “incentives for children of citizens in marriage” is one idea (although the “in marriage” part will, I promise you, not get past the courts). More anti-market government [‘socialist’] initiatives might help a bit: require all businesses over a certain size to provide on-site child-care facilties; require quality free child-care from the age of three (a Leftist demand which conservatives have resisted!). Whether these will do enough to get the fertility rate back to the needed level is dubious, however, given the experience of other countries.
Watch the Chinese, who have the same problem. They’re not inhibited by any humanitarian concerns or legal barriers. If they can’t do it, no one can. In the long — decades-long — term, if we don’t destroy ourselves in big stupid war, we’ll be growing babies in bottles. That will give rise to a whole new set of problems, but at least they won’t be “existential”, as the population implosion is.
Oingo Boingo: “Wild Sex For The Working Class”… OK for me…
Very true. It seems that the more successful a country becomes and the more wealthy each family gets, the birth rate drops.
Your statements regarding incentives and workplace accommodations for Mother’s are very valid. We must encourage, and make it easier, for women to simultaneously have a career and children.
As a society, it would also be worthwhile to focus on a resurgence of the nuclear family. Children need involved mothers and fathers to grow up healthy, independent and successful.
Rather than insist on childcare facilities, I think a better idea would be to creat incentives for hiring empty nest moms. LOTS of experience and wisdom going to waste. Women need a different, radically differentc career path. Not only due to the reality of having kids but also because so many of us become much more functional as we age, as we get through child rearing and as we become more ourselves. This includes making it easier for women to access education later in life. Sure there are options but these options must be meaningful to employers.
There are reasons for resisting free childcare as well as universal preschool. These will exacerbate the problem, not fix it. We need to step back and look at stages of women’s lives in a whole new way. Stop trying to fit women into mansize holes.
You make a good point about making paths for women joining the work force at a later age, if that is what they wish.
In regards to education – my own thought is that is something best obtained at a younger age – before having children. Not only does one have a greater capacity to learn at a younger age, but said knowledge would also help in teaching and helping their family’s children. That said, many – both men and women – go to school at a later age. I would be curious as to what impediments you think there are to that.
My thoughts based on my singular personal experience is yes, I was better able to learn information at the age, right after high school, that I went to college and got my BS. I was, however, woefully lacking in reasons for the degree I got and I lacked a real career path. I knew that I wanted children and I wanted to raise them myself. It would have been harder for me to attend college in my 40s but I was so much more capable on so many other fronts that I believe it would have negated the disadvantages. Plus, I would have had my children younger and therefore been only in my late 30’s. This is just one woman’s experience but I think I am not alone.
As to my own children, I homeschooled all four, three through to high school graduation. My college was not as helpful as you imagine. I graduated high school with all the tools I needed to homeschool. My largest asset was my own thirst for more knowledge. Case in point, I learned more history in the first four years of homeschooling than I did in high school and college combined. And I dare say, it was more REAL history.
I join many in believing our entire educational system to be sadly broken. In reforming a new one based on using technology wisely, we could also incorporate ways for women to truly have choices. We could also destroy the ridiculous divide between white collar jobs and trade as well as make it more possible for individuals to learn in the way that best suits their unique gifts. I believe we have the tools to tailor education to the individual, make it a uniting force for families instead of a divisor and help both men and women become productive fully realized people in the image of their Creator…even the ones who don’t believe in Him.
Thanks much for the response. I would agree that a majority of the current educational system is severely dysfunctional and doesn’t teach, but instead indoctrinates. I would also note there are also some schools that are still excellent.
Sorry to hear that your own college time was poor, but glad to hear that you possess the two traits that make college a moot point – a desire and willingness to learn and the intelligence to do it on your own.
My own view is that college for all but a very small handful of occupations is at best unnecessary and at worst utterly useless and counterproductive. It can be an environment that helps some people learn and provides the structure that some need. Given the current cost (due directly to government intervention), it isn’t worth the expenditure IMO.
I personally don’t see education as a dividing force in a family – in fact I see it as the opposite. It goes back to the individual – their outlook and their methods.
Unsure what the “divide” is you see between trade and white collar which is a result of the occupations themselves. It surely isn’t money, as in both cases if one has the drive, the skill, and the desire, one can make considerable amounts of money – as well as the opposite. There are also jobs on both sides which will never in and of themselves be capable of making vast sums of money if that is what one wants out of life in place of a life far richer than any money can provide.
I disagree with your assertions, starting with the one that we must keep the population at the current level – one which is almost doubled that of 1970.
The biggest problem with your assertions is that they are based on the culture and mindset of the populace staying the same. That most definitely is not the case and it’s becoming obvious that it isn’t if one actually opens their eyes and looks past the mounds of propaganda put out by the mouthpieces of those who would rule. The pendulum is most definitely swinging back away from the progressive insanity in which almost every part is MEANT to reduce the population by a vast number.
Abortion isn’t as much an access problem, as it’s a moral issue. It doesn’t involve a woman’s right to choose, because it isn’t her body – it’s the body of another human being and the act of abortion is MURDER. It also accounts for over 1 MILLION murders a year. Factor that number into your birth rate calculations…
Many (but hardly all) women want a career other than the very challenging and skills based career of traditional motherhood because they’ve been falsely led to believe that it will bring them happiness. There are ever growing numbers of women who pursued that path and are now discovering that the path brings an emptiness beyond their imagination. Truth be known, the mad pursuit of riches leads BOTH women AND men to much less fulfilling lives than they are led to believe they could otherwise have.
Others work because they have to in order to provide – be it because they are single mothers or because with the cost of goods it requires two incomes to make it. One is a societal problem that can be solved as well – the other is a government run amok, which is also able to be solved.
It think it is possible to “get through the courts” incentives for children in marriage, with the path via tax breaks and credits.
Lastly, my own viewpoint is that families where both parents have outside-the-home, full-time careers is one of the problems and has led to much of the mess society is in today, particularly when children are pre-school. Note that doesn’t mean deprive women of a career path – they can always marry a stay-at-home dad. There can also be adjustments – particularly in today’s job market where there are so many jobs that are work-from-home.
” Truth be known, the mad pursuit of riches leads BOTH women AND men to much less fulfilling lives than they are led to believe they could otherwise have.”
Here Here!
Agree. In addition, even if this is not popular, we need to look at the medical reasons for rising infertility. Pollution of the environment in every respect (from heavy metals to Wifi …).
Many, if not most, women who work don’t have a “career.”
They have a job.
They don’t work outside the home because it is more fulfilling, but because it is necessary.
They have a job because it is no longer easy to raise a family on one salary.
Tackle inflation, taxes, the high costs of health care and unaffordable housing, and bring back manufacturing jobs which pay a decent wage, and you’d be surprised how many young women would gladly stay home and raise a family.
Forgiveness: Dr. Phil asking Trump to be the one to come up with forgiveness. I’d like to see him ask that of Obama, Hillary, and all the rest of the evil doers who have tried to destroy him.
I will say something about forgiveness: In Judaism, when it is time time for atonement (Yom Kippur) we learn that God will not forgive you if you have not first asked for forgiveness from each person whom you have hurt during the past year. First you must be forgiven by THAT person, and then God will forgive you.
It’s not only about Trump: What about the American people they have hurt by trying to destroy Trump? Even if Trump were to say, “I forgive them,” does he have the right to forgive them FOR US? NO HE DOES NOT. They have to seek OUR FORGIVENESS IF THEY EVER WANT FORGIVENESS FROM GOD. Trump can forgive them for what they did to him, if he decides to do so. But he cannot forgive them for what they have done to ALL OF US, the American people and to our country.
I agree he shouldn’t go for revenge. However he most definitely should prosecute every single #>! that was involved with the injections and other murders related to covid, as well as those who have committed treason and/or used their positions of power to go after citizens due to what they think and believe.
There must be prosecution for attempted COUPS, SEDITIOUS LAWFARE and ELECTION FRAUD! Hillary, Biden and Obama are the biggest crime families in America.
I think this was a softball lobbed by Dr Phil to all the normies who still don’t know who’s on first. Some people, fed a steady diet by a lying ENEmedia, truly believe that Trump is a loud, brash ‘bad’ guy who heaps all of these troubles upon himself.
I even hear conservatives lamenting some aspect of his ‘personality,’ while I view him as the epitome of restraint considering the evil that assaults him (and us) on a daily basis.
A lot of people still don’t know which end is up. And that’s a fact. They go whichever way the wind blows and pick their heads up only when their wallet gets lighter.
So.. Dr Phil and President Trump have just informed the world that Trump won’t stoop to their level, going tit for tat on some *personal* vendetta at the expense of our country. He in fact seeks to unite, not divide this nation. And he considers MAGA initiatives and prosperity the best revenge of all.
Donald Trump is absolutely correct.
What a smart and humble man. He is indeed taking all the slings and arrows for the greater good of humanity. After he is elected, if SHTF, Americans will finally understand that President Trump is *not* the one who initiated it.
But make no mistake, if left with no other choices, President Trump will definitely be the one to finish it. He always sets high priorities, but I have never seen this man shrink from a fight.
Look at how much he was able to accomplish during his first term by keeping his eye on the ball. Now, can you imagine what a force he will be when 💯 percent of this country are finally in his corner?
Absolutely spot-on great point. I was struck by PDJT’s statement to America that “I will work so hard for you…” in his original campaign and again in his inauguration speech. Will never forget that.
Prosecution will be perceived as revenge, whether it truly is or not.
Sean “tick-tock” Hannity tried to nail down Trump on that issue, too. It was disgusting. Hannity is just a FBI boot-licking swamp protector.
But PDJT deftly answered in both the Dr. Phil and Hannity interviews.
His best course may be to see how the Dems/lawfare acts if he wins the election. If they continue down their present road and obstruct his Presidency with absurd indictments and roadblocks, revenge is in order.
He is in a war…this “play nice” idea is absurd.
I personally never gave any heed to “perceptions.” The fact of the matter is that no matter what PDJT actually does, he will be lambasted endlessly and all manner of lies will be told. Given that, he should do that which he knows is right and just – perceptions be damned. It isn’t about “playing nice.”
Hannity is lower than pond scum and just as evil as Schumer.
I strongly feel that all of the victims that were bankrupted and/or lost everything trying to fight against the lawfare, must be made whole. Their only crime was supporting President Trump. Perhaps all the traitors should be forced to restore these deeply injured patriots. Many of these thugs had money laundering book deals or cushy jobs or other money making deals.
Difference between justice and vengeance.
I want us to pursue justice.
Best to leave vengeance to the Lord.
.
Right. And for everyone else: it is not the time to forgive when wrongs are ongoing. It is time to stop them, and do what needs to be done to prevent wrongdoing from contnuing.
As for Phil McGraw’s platitudinous yammering for his audience, as others here have noted, this interview was to educate that Trump is actually a good person, not some kind of “Hitler”. For Trump, McGraw is media access to an MSM-saturated crowd; he’s not an “advisor”, and his opinions are irrelevant.
.
The damage done to America and the American people by these demons cannot be forgiven. I agree: DJT does not have the right to forgive them for us. Abortion/trans agenda/destruction of families/ destruction of the economy/invasion of our country/bringing us to the brink of WWlll….none of these evils should ever be forgiven. Regardless, they do NOT want our forgiveness. They hate us. They do not want DJT’s forgiveness. They hate him.
Yeah, the revenge cycle thing that Phil was talking about seems awfully one-sided. The left is easily offended by words. They regarded the campaign rhetoric of “lock her up” that Hillary was somehow actually locked up. But when President Trump could have actually crossed the Rubicon he said no, that would be too divisive for the country.
.
Phil is thinking of petty squabbles of the sort he regularly deals with.
We are in a war.
It’s quibbling to try to make some kind of moral distinction between justice, revenge, retaliation, punishment, redress, reprisal, vengeance, etc…
No quarter.
.
“No quarter” … unless it’s to our advantage to offer it. In war, it’s a stupid idea to force the enemy to fight to the death. We want him to surrender, and “no quarter” makes that unlikely.
What Trump needs to do is to purge the governing apparatus, legally, constitutionally, and thoroughly.
Keep in mind that only about a third of Americans think of themselves as conservatives … about an equal percentage think of themselves as liberals or progressives. And the remaining third are in the middle. Whoever wins the middle — even if only temporarily, as the result of an election — wins.
Conservatives are in favor of limited government. We are NOT in favor of lawfare, or banana-republic persecution of political enemies. If the Left make us forget that, they will have won an enormous victory.
We can fight back against the Left without violating the Constitution, and without becoming hypocrites regarding our belief in limited government. We need to start talking now about how to do that.
President Trump is a true statesman. He will be remembered as the greatest president this country has ever had.
How many readers have been asked for forgiveness by anyone?
Inspiring. Love the man.
Anyone who doesn’t see how gracious Trump is, is an asshat.
Sorry.
Trump needs to do extreme retribution and carnage.
Remember, after Trump leaves MAGA dies as a political force unless the perps are sent to hell. Then send the GOP to hell.
Nothing else will suffice.
How many four star generals can win a war with no troops under his command? Our very stable genius is in the process of rallying his troops behind him.
Four years from now, we ‘the people’ will be required to carry that ball forward. As long as we don’t eff this up for him, I’m certain he will leave us all the tools we’ll need going forward.
Top-heavy Pentagon with way too many flag rankers who do not hold a candle to those who won WWII. D-Day events drove that home yet again.

Anything “Oprah” stimulates my gag reflex and “Dr.Phil” runs a close second. Whatever happened to the little girls that disappeared in Oprah’s custody? Not to mention her connections with Epstein and all her trips to his Island. I could tell that DJT knew he made a mistake doing this interview, the cringe on his face right at the handshake was palpable. The questions were terrible and if DJT thinks he’s getting any votes from the Oprah crowd , he’s delusional. One thing he’s definitely not is delusional. So why do it?
And what about Maui…?????
It was a thoughtful, fair, and respectful exchange and you can see the mutual admiration n that both men have for each other. I didn’t much care for the talk about magnanimity. It has to be eye for and eye and a permanent destruction of the deep state but I feel Trump wants to keep it under his hat for the time being
It’s not a matter of “retribution” but the rule of law.
i skipped to the end. i counted 4 or 5 different approaches (in the last 7 minutes) that Dr. Phil made to get PDJT to say ‘I won’t go after the people who persecuted me’. Everything from ‘what if you decided….(to be the good guy by not responding)’, to ‘what an opportunity for you to be the hero in this and say it stops here’, to ‘you can just forgive and forget’. And finally, the pope wrote a book about how if you are resentful, then you are not seeking justice, you’re seeking revenge.
I noticed Dr. Phil was actually referring to his laptop, which I believe he needed because he was surprised he had to keep coming up with different talking points to ask the same question. He’s a pretty good speaker, so I thought that was unusual for Dr. Phil.
PDJT did not take the bait of defending that it would not be revenge; rather, it would be justice. Although that is a perfectly logical and truthful position, I like that, for Dr. Phil’s audience, he did not do that.
I loved how PDJT kept saying ‘we need to unite the country’ each time Phil pushed his agenda. He didn’t say ‘no I won’t agree not prosecute them’. He just kept saying other positive things about the country and its people. Finally, he used Hillary as the example, and he went thru the details of her corruption and illegal activities. But yet, he didn’t prosecute her. So, it was like he was saying ‘why are you asking me not to prosecute these demons, when here’s one of the worst ones, who I had the opportunity to go after, and I didn’t’.
I think the point PDJT was making about the Hag was that although he didn’t go after her she didn’t mend her ways, same as saying letting them off the hook didn’t work.
PDJT deftly deflects leading questions. I think he is so good at this because his course is genuinely set. He is not pandering to the interviewer like most politicians, so he never has to dig for “acceptable”answers.
Instead of answering a leading question, PDJT reverts to his main talking points. In this way, he drives home his agenda by not getting mired in their ‘gotcha’ weeds.
Exactly!
Excellent comment! Thank you.
Dr Phil did an interview with Harvey from TMZ about his pending interview with President Trump. Part of their focus was getting President Trump to commit to no “revenge”. Dr Phil did don’t appear to be on President Trump’s side in the interview. Rather he seemed to have an agenda. Maybe he thinks he can get close to President Trump. It was a very odd interview. They came off as long time friends.
Dr. Phil fools some but most certainly he doesn’t fool Trump and of course Phil has an agenda, he’s a Psych and a bully after all.
Look up previous Dr Phil interviews over the years regarding President Trump. He is not a fan of Trump. Dr Phil appears to be doing something shady. Hope that President Trump keeps him at arms length if not further. Maybe he wants to get another interview closer to the election and try for a gotcha moment. Something is off. He was never a Trump supporter. He didn’t bash him per se, Rather said negative things about Trump in code. Lots of interviews. Look at Kimmel interview. Basically says Trump has a personality disorder and more.
Stellar. Seriously.
it was a good interview into the person, and not so much into politics; done by a non-polictical person.
The issue is, right in front of us. Nothing else matters except electing President Trump and no one else. Anyone who confuses this is a uniparty troll. End
It was good to hear “lots of facists and communists” in the administration in control. Clearly Trump knows they have to be removed.
Awaiting the Great Undoing, where there is an unwinding of those Bidet policies set up to protect the SES True Believers.
One great idea from the 45 era was to relocate the Departments out of the DC area to be closer to the constituents and needs. When the bureaucrats have more exposure to those they purportedly serve, and to on-the-ground issues, then there should be less influence from lobbyists and grifters. If those departments functioned remotely like efficient and effective companies, they would get more done with less bloat. Obviously, gov’t and business are different in many ways, but the wasteful among the latter have a harder time surviving as markets punish them.
Too bad those Georgetown restaurants might suffer business downturns, as they are essentially funded by our tax dollars with middlemen raking off their cuts.
Disagree with moving Departments. Moving Rot is a waste of money. The Root Cause of all of these problems is too much money in government. Close most of the Departments completely and let the states handle things. Cut Taxes. When the money spigot is turned off, the grifters will leave.
The Department of Education educates 0 kids. Close it.
The Department of Education in Tennessee should be closed also. It educates 0 kids. Put the job back to the counties and school boards. Let innovation and the free market take hold.
Who would allow this? BHO is running the show, not Biden
Those that committed treason need to be held accountable and justice MUST be served.
The Founders tell us how to do it.
If justice isn’t served then we are right back where we started.
We’ve ignored the wisdom of our forefathers (Our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Federalist papers) far too long.
All the talk below about how to drain the swamp etc is interesting but missing the reality. The “swamp” is just the legal action arm of the BLOB. If you cut it to shreds the other 3 heads of the BLOB will just restore it. The BLOB is the entire deep state of arrogant elitists running the government, leftist media, academia and most corporations. The only way I can see all of that coming down is with a collapse of society as a whole. I fear that’s where we are headed. Pray
Always MAGA 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
The point that Dr. Phil stressed he would press on Trump above all was the forgiveness angle, considering there has been so much talk of retribution and revenge.
We need to understand that independents are VERY concerned about this. And Left media has been playing it up to no end. And really, I don’t blame them. The rhetoric has been over the top.
We should instead be focusing on restoring our institutions to where they need to be. Just as many people can be exposed and brought to account that way, but it won’t feed the divisions we have. Most people see what the Dems are doing and would welcome bringing the justice system back to impartiality and insuring fair elections.
When pressed on it by Phil, Trump gave the correct answer. But we shouldn’t be in this position in the first place. The focus needs to be on making the necessary corrections, not on vengeance.
Not only is this right, it is good electoral politics. We can take back our institutions without alienating 40% of the electorate.
The fact that people generally like this interview shows that Dr. Phil was trying to help President Trump with the liberal base that loves Dr. Phil. It will go a long way in helping President Trump with the soccer mom crowd in ways that normal ad buys could never accomplish.
A very big win.
I caught the 1st 15-ish minutes on his Rumble Channel, the teaser, and it sent me to his website to sign up for the rest.

It was well worth it to me to show my appreciation to Dr. Phil and team for such great interviews surrounding President Trump, his family and supporters and their trials, as well as this one with President Trump. After watching the rest of the interview it rolled to yet another show where Dr. Phil chatted with the audience answering questions. Lots of good info here.
And I posted this one yesterday from his Rumble Channel on the Presidential thread It’s real good:

I downloaded the Media Street app where there are lots of videos by Dr Phil on PDJT.
Listening to it now. So far ver good.
I watched Dr Phil grill President Trump on his plans for “retribution” He made a point of saying what a bad idea that was and kept harping on it. Then he did an interview with CNN and reiterated how he was “trying to him to turn aside” from that course of action.
I didn’t like his tone at all.
Psych’s like Phil and like the left are always on the side of the criminal not the victims that’s why Phil supports forgiveness for those who have. brought suffering and damage to the country as a whole and Americans citizens in particular.
But in the instance you describe Dr. Phil is trying to bolster his importance by making it look like Trump doesn’t agree with him but should. Dr. Phil is opportunistic scum.
I think most of us know Trump is a kind and compassionate person but he’s also a person who believes in Justice. He’s not interested in revenge because he sees the end result is not good, not because he isn’t human like the rest of us who would like our enemies punished by whatever means possible.
Dr. Phil will have no influence whatsoever on what a President Trump will do. Trump did this interview for only one reason, to continue to get his points across to yet another audience and it was very skillfully executed.
Dr.phil is an idiot, and I say that respectfully. PDJT should unite the country alright, by throwing the despised DC Cartel leaders of both uniparty wings in prison or worse. These politicians and stasi think they’re above the law, because they never suffer any consequences for their crimes, and this has to change in a big way…. Or else their gonna get much much worse.
Columbia didn’t bring their country together by making peace with Pablo Escobar.
Regarding Dr. Phil’s plea for no revenge: I hope PDJT pulls him aside and explains that the fear of the possibility of revenge is/will be as powerful as revenge itself. PDJT cannot take that card off the table so to speak – he’d look weak and he’s got some powerful and sh?tty adversaries to deal with so he needs it.

Great interview by President Trump. When Dr. Phil kept trying dozens of angles to get him to vow not to seek revenge, I was so glad PDJT brought up his restraint for the good of the country from going after Hillary and locking her up. I wish he’d also pointed out that she and Obama are still trying to bring him and the country down through their corrupt proxies, and asked Dr. Phil his usual question, “So how’s that working for you?”
A most excellent interview. Both men at their best, and the mutual respect and kindness was very nice. President Trump’s mind is always speeding, and his abbreviated sentences leave his meaning less than clear for people who don’t have family with ADHD. Phil did a great job of circling him back to clarify his meaning and stay on point. Interviewing extremely intelligent, passionate people can be like herding cats. I didn’t like that Phil kept hammering him about not seeking revenge. Trump has NEVER been one to seek revenge. To me, that was an invitation for all corrupt government workers to continue stabbing US citizens in the back, because there will be no consequences for their treason against us. Lawfare, J6ers… these crimes must be punished and their devastation must be reversed. Otherwise we surrender our right to call ourselves a nation of Justice.
When asked why the govt agencies are united in destroying him I though Trump had a weak answer. “Habits,” he replied. It is their habit to do so.
When given the opportunity to expose the corruption of the government he took a mulligan.
Never had occurred to me that President Trump would go after retribution.
However, justice must be served.
You cannot permit a nest of termites to remain in your home.
They will destroy your home if you permit them to stay.
The traitorous wretches who are actively seeking to destroy our nation must face justice.
Else someday they will succeed.
