All news sources have their biases. It is best to try to glean the facts from whatever you read or hear, and be very skeptical when you can’t do that. I have less trouble gleaning the facts from FOX News than from most other sources.

I make a distinction between Carlson, who I trust (so far, based on history) and Fox, a corporate news source that I do not. But then (ok, ok, it’s a brag) with no tv in the house, we use a variety of independent sources for news.
As for Wikipedia, kids can’t distinguish (neither can some adults) between subjective and objective information, so it’s best just to tell them no Wikipedia until they can…it’s fine for straight-up facts, but anything that can be politicalized, is.
Wikipedia was never allowed to be source for my children in school because of horribly bad and biased information contained in it. This was quite a few years ago and I don’t know if that is still the case.
A couple years after I graduated college in 2002, professors and even High School teachers stopped accepting Wikipedia a legitimate reference. You could use it to get legitimate references but not use it as a reference.

I also see it with Congress–as in they let a handful of people on our side (MAGA/Freedom Caucus) to survive the cheating, which kind of gives us false hope, like maybe we can get more on our side in. Just watching politicians make their cases to pass legislation-It’s all political speak with rare substance. It seems to be all theater to make political points and not to solve problems.
You would think to create legislation to solve a problem you would: Define the problem you are trying to solve in detail. Not some vague goal. 2 Define the things, specifically, that is causing the problem and relative impact to the problem.3. Define expected impact of the legislation to fix the problem and debate the +/- of implementing the fixes.
Or something like that-Congress doesn’t do that-politicians talk in vague, feel good, terms and make their case to pass legislation on these same vague feel good terms.
No wonder we have bad legislation that many times cause more problems and does nothing to solve the original justification for the legislation.

Protesting is a right. Even so, there are laws rules that have to be followed. Christ didn’t try to cleanse someone else’s temple, only His own. Even if we had the authority to cleanse the temple, we don’t have authority to cleanse someone else’s temple. Perhaps his protest could have taken place outside.
Face-to-face confrontation is probably not going to work with depraved individuals. A wise man said “Don’t throw your pearls before swine“ and “Blessed are the peacemakers.“ Perhaps there’s at least some limited application of these principles to be considered in such situations.
