The people who are behind Senator John Fetterman, those same who knew the severity of his condition after suffering a stroke last year, now present as sick, twisted and lusting for political influence. Those are the toxic people who created this crisis; unfortunately, this seems to include Mr Fetterman’s wife.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHTM) – Pennsylvania U.S. Senator John Fetterman has checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to receive treatment for clinical depression, according to Chief of Staff Adam Jentleson.
“While John has experienced depression off and on throughout his life, it only became severe in recent weeks,” said Jentleson.
Fetterman is receiving inpatient care and is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis, according to his office.
“After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself.”
Fetterman’s wife Gisele released a statement on Twitter Thursday afternoon saying she is proud of her husband and asked for privacy.
“After what he’s been through in the past year, there’s probably no one who wanted to talk about his own health less than John. I’m so proud of him for asking for help and getting the care he needs. This is a difficult time for our family, so please respect our privacy. (read more)

I wasn’t one who voted for him, but I feel compassion for him and the state he is in and I prayed Sundance’s lovely prayer for him and his family and all others like them. I feel great sadness that the party used him so cruelly and cynically and that the need to get a D seat was more important than this individual’s health and well-being.
I feel bad for his kids, and the many people in Pennsylvania who did not vote for him because they wanted nothing to do with him, and people all over the country who did not want him occupying a Senate seat. That’s it.
His wife’s cynical cruelty is heartbreaking. He deserves our prayers. Sundance is a beautiful person.
For Fetterman to have been thrust into this political situation, where his family assuredly knew the extent of his issues, is truly criminal and toxic. His wife certainly knew, but apparently wanted the political limelight at the expense of her husband’s health. Gee, it sounds very similar to Jill Biden, doesn’t it???

You can’t grasp the depth of the hatred…raw, unhinged, absolutely feral hatred…of the bulk of the Dem base. My brother and his wife spoke of knowing, during Biden’s campaign, that he had obvious dementia. But they voted for him, and then sneered—literally laughing— at me, when I became angry that they quite literally elder-abused an old dementia patient into an office they knew he couldn’t execute. My anger was not just at them having condemned an entire nation and beyond to the effects of the actions of a cognitively impaired ( and legendarily corrupt ) *president* ( and his morally-impaired handlers), but to willingly elder-abuse, after having witnessed our own parents ( mine and my brother’s, that is) being viciously abused in a nursing home. Much of my life, I’ve been spiritually tepid…a believer, but tepid for the most part…bit I’ve now come to accept that there really is a theological evil infecting some of us. Demonic, even. These people are terrifying.

While he is out, the balance of power in the senate is 50 seats D and 49 seats R. I’d go to Manchin and Sinema, and tell them to propose some legislation near and dear to them, and get it passed 50 to 49. Schumer might try to block it from consideration in which case I’d publicize his intransigence and make him uncomfortable. If it makes it thru the Senate and House force Biden to either veto or approve it.

Just as soon as I saw the title, I knew what was happening. The Democrat Communist Party want to get the 300-pound potato out of sight of the public. I suspect it is just smoke and mirrors to distract from the fact John Fetterman is totally unqualified to hold the office he has and should not have been allowed to run in the first place. I also suspect his wife is being schooled on what she needs to know and do, to take over his position. From what I gather, she is an insane radical also. Our Government has become so corrupt and rotten in the last 30 odd years, ever since George H.W. Bush became President. From then on it has been sliding downhill to where we are today. President Trump momentarily stopped the decline and started a climb back towards the top, but was stopped by all who hated America, hated what we stood for, hated our Judeo-Christian roots, and wanted to see it all burned down. We do not have elections anymore; we have selections that are done by the very people that have put us where we are today. Our entire Government is beyond repair, most of the American People are oblivious to what is happening to this Country or do not care.

Just a little by-view…. Fetterman sure got care FAST from the VA, didn’t he. Yet our heros have to wait for months….
He’s inpatient, most likely suicidal (possibly attempted suicide), that makes a huge difference. Currently in private practice that takes insurance there is a average 12 week wait for outpatient services. My daughter was admitted inpatient after a suicide attempt, followed by 3 weeks of intensive outpatient treatment. We still couldn’t find follow up outpatient treatment so we had to go the medication route through her primary care doc. She’s doing much better now, but it was scary for awhile.
He’s not depressed. He’s a veg hearing voices.

If I had voted for him (which I never would have , because his problems seemed pretty obvious to me), I would feel outraged that he failed to mention that he suffered from recurrant depression bad enough to be hospitalized. They got exactly what they deserved for Voting for this craven liar.

Depression is very common after a stroke as there is damage to the brain.
The fact that OTHERS put him in office is the bigger problem. Every decent MD knows that a stroke is not without consequences.
