Unlike the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith, the appointment order for special counsel Robert Hur was not available at the time the press release of the special counsel appointment was made. The appointment order was released tonight, a two-page pdf, which is essentially the initiating scope of authorization for the special counsel to follow. [Link to pdf]
The Robert Hur appointment order is interestingly worded to encompass the origination of the John Lausch “initial investigation”, we have not seen any documents associated with that initial appointment on November 14, 2022.
Additionally, the appointment order seems to limit the investigation to only records discovered in two locations, “the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement and the Wilmington, Delaware, private residence of President Joseph R Biden, Jr.” The next part “any matters that arose from the initial investigation,” again puts the emphasis on the John Laush original investigative authority as given by AG Merrick Garland.

…We endorse Kash Patel’s call. We shouldn’t have to suffer another corrupt Special Counsel probe. That includes Jack Smith appointed by the corrupt Merrick Garland and his dominatrix, Deputy AG Lisa Monaco, to investigate Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago document trove and President Trump’s efforts to expose fraud in the 2020 election.
I would suppose Smith has a head start on Hur & could wrap this up on Pres. Trump quickly because unless I’m mistaken, there would be no break in the chain of custody from the WH to Mar-A-Lago.
And FJB’s 2 batches (short of the 3rd & any other batches) went from the WH to somewhere else before 1 went to the Penn Biden Center & the other to Wilmington. And FJB can’t tell Hur about the docs because he has no idea what docs they’re talking about since his lawyers told him not to ask them.
Is that because the lawyers don’t have security clearances & weren’t supposed to read them so they don’t know either or is it because they did read them & don’t want to incriminate themselves?
Then there’s the Penn Center does not have a SCIF, & a locked closet is not a secured facility for Archive purposes, nor is a locked garage door. Let’s assume he had a SCIF in his Wilmington home during his Vice Presidency, how did the documents get into the garage for storage? Did some go from his home to Penn Center & why?
And then there’s that pesky “smartest man I know,” Hunter, who’s the front man for FJB’s pay-to-play, as well as FJB’s long-time front man brother, James. Do one or both of them have keys to the Penn Center? Same with the Wilmington house. And of course, Hunter was living in the Wilmington home in 2018 & 2019. How about those pesky Chinese? Do they have keys to Penn Center?
Apparently, there is much more danger to our national security when a former President leaves the WH & takes with him documents for his memoirs, presidential library, legal defense or whatever, as has EVERY President before him, including his predecessor, than a Vice President who leaves office with documents he cannot declassify & there is no chain of custody where those documents have been for 6 or 7 yrs.
WE HAVE A U.S. PRESIDENT WHO SUBSEQUENTLY CORROBORATED ON VIDEO HIS OWN PAY-TO-PLAY SCHEME IN UKRAINE WHILE HE WAS VICE PRESIDENT & HAS AT LEAST 1 MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY INVOLVED IN PAY-TO-PLAY SCHEMES SINCE BEFORE HIS VICE PRESIDENCY, POSSIBLY SINCE HE BECAME A SENATOR IN THE 1972 ELECTION.
But for FJB & his son, Hunter, would the University of Pennsylvania have been receiving money from China since 2014? But for the Chinese donations (or from another country like Ukraine or another entity), would FJB have been hired by the University as an “Honarary Professor” & been paid $1 million for several “appearances,” but no lectures over less than 2 yrs ?
(I mean at least Slick Willy is a Rhodes scholar when he got that $1/2 million speaking gig in Russia)
