White House propagandist and narrative engineer Jennifer Psaki informed reporters today that border patrol officers in Del Rio, Texas, would no longer be allowed to use horses during their border security operations.
A mounted border patrol officer looks like a cowboy. Cowboys are racist symbols of oppression and represent the principles of a sovereign America. This optic is an unapproved worldview of the open border society ideologues currently occupying the U.S. government. Also, most mounted border patrol officers are Latino.

Sorry. Couldn’t watch this. To me it would be like asking Jen Psaki for spiritual advice.
She has no right to talk about the amazing horsemen and their equally amazing working horses. To my thinking they are the perfect solution to human wave assaults on the border.
Courteous, safe, effective, and all business, in total control.
The comment I heard about them using their reins as whips on the Haitians was spittle in my face and the working quarterhorse I grew up with. Real Americana damn straight and proud of it.
You don’t “steer” a working horse by pulling on the reins, jabbing it with spurs, or whipping it with the reins. Working quarter horses are very intelligent and sensitive. They ‘re named that because nothing can outrun them in the quarter mile, clocked up to 45 mph.
Your horse knows what you are thinking and only needs the slightest pressure of the reins against the neck, or feel your weight shift, to make sure you’re on the same page.
Using about the same movement as shifting gears in a sports car, a working quarter horse will surge, make a four-hoof stop, turn on a dime and give you a nickel change. It’s a serious challenge being up to it, akin to being a fighter pilot. Yes, I’ve taken a few falls.
That’s why I can’t watch Ms Psaki trash another cherished bit of our culture. The implied message is our border patrol horsemen were riding down and trampling the river crossers with war horses.
If you watch this 11 min video, note how the riders use their hands and balance as they guide charging 500 lb cows around in circles. No one harmed, but no question who’s boss. These guys were my heroes.

Border Patrol use mustangs, due to the breeds endurance and sure footedness. the horses are trained by federal prisoners and then transferred to the border patrol.

I forget now where I read it, but not terribly long ago I read a piece that proposed that in the early post-Civil War period, the majority of cowboys might have been black, folks who struck out on their own when freed of their slavery.
