We outlined yesterday some of the ideological teams within the current political dynamic as it relates to a massive foreign policy failure in Afghanistan {Go Deep}. Before going further and reviewing the current Sunday talking points by political actors within this mess, it is worth expanding slightly so we can see the institutional agendas that drive the visible messaging.
Big Picture – Remember, there was a time when the eagle’s gaze on the official seal for the Office of the United States President, did not point toward the olive branch. There was a long time in our nation’s history when the eagle’s gaze on the Presidential Seal pointed toward the arrows, and the State Dept. Seal pointed to the olive branch. There were always two conflicting teams, by design. There were always two different roles and responsibilities. Those distinct purposes are now diluted by ideology and size of government…. But the distinction is playing out amid the crisis in Afghanistan.
The State Department has been undermining the message and ‘narrative’ from the White House. Part of this is driven by an ideological distinction and self-interest that has existed for decades. However, the current dynamic is being played out by corrupt institutional actors on both sides who do not have our best interests in mind. Both sets of federal actors are two factions within the same ideological tribe of leftists & globalists.
♦ TEAM One – The Department of State is aligned with the CIA. Their media PR firms are CNN, CNNi and the Washington Post. Their ideology is favorable to the United Nations. Their internal corruption is generally driven by relationship with foreign actors. References: Hillary Clinton, Clinton Global Initiative, John McCain, Qatar, Muslim Brotherhood, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice, Cass Sunstein, Brookings Institute, Lawfare, China-centric, Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Council on Foreign Relations.
♦ TEAM Two – The White House is aligned with the Pentagon (DoD) and National Security Council (NSC). Their media PR firms are domestic in nature. New York Times, Politico, etc. Their internal corruption is generally driven by domestic influence. References: Barack Obama, George Bush, Wall St, Big Banks, Multinational Corporations, Defense Contractors, FBI (state police), Judicial Branch, and community activists writ large.
[Presidential elections only affect Team Two (nationalism -v- globalism). In the modern era Team One is independent.]
Both teams were responsible for the Afghanistan mess. In the aftermath of the mess; and with the current situation in/around Kabul, each team is positioning to avoid scrutiny. Scrutiny on either team runs the risk of identifying massive corruption; so the objective is to push the spotlight onto the other team. State Dept. blames White House/Pentagon…. Pentagon/White House looking to avoid sunlight.
The Pentagon (arrows) is supposed to working in coordination with State (olive branch), but both institutions are corrupt regarding Afghanistan; so it’s a game of hot potato. If the executive office wasn’t corrupt, the eagle would be having whiplash; alas, the White House was/is an active participant. [So much for school civic ‘checks-n-balances’ eh?]
Externally, we are seeing the executive appointed heads of each faction battling for position on behalf of their institution. The media get to pick and choose which faction they will support. CNN will support the State Dept. ABC, CBS, NBC will lean slightly toward the White House/Pentagon.
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is a White House appointee (senate confirmed), but he doesn’t control the internal mechanisms any more than Secretary of State *Rex Tillerson did. [*That transparently predictable dynamic led to Trump firing Tillerson, and Pompeo (CIA) stepped-in to diffuse the issues. CIA/DoS are partners, makes sense.]
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is a White House appointee (senate confirmed), and he has more control over his agency, U.S. Military, than Blinken. Look for Joint Chief’s Chairman Mark Milley to be the guy who gets canned to protect Joe Biden. Mark Milley knows this is likely.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is another White House appointee (no confirmation needed), and is the best target for the State Dept to hit the White House in the ongoing effort. Sullivan controls the National Security Council (NSC). It is likely Biden’s NSC people are jumping all over Tony Blinken telling him to get the Kabul Embassy people in line.
Joe Biden (WH), Lloyd Austin (DoD) and Jake Sullivan (NSC) are likely trying to bolster the efforts of Tony Blinken (DoS) amid the internecine battle. However, Blinken doesn’t really have a lot of control over the internals at the State Dept., and that crew has the CIA and intel agencies in their arsenal.
Now we’ll check today to see the Sunday talks and how the media are lining up…
Lloyd Austin (DoD), Kamala Harris (¹CBC), Joe Biden (WH), Anthony Blinken (DoS), Jake Sullivan (NSC)

Susan Rice is Obama’s mouthpiece. Obama and whomever runs him is the person/persons behind the Afghanistan disaster.
AFG withdrawal = Bengazi + Fast and Furious put together.
Think about it … JoeBama fingerprints all over it.
HOW do you motivate 100’s of millions of people to leave everything they know, and move to a different place, where everything is foreign?
You HERD them, like sheep. And Terrorism, whether perpetrated by drug cartels, or jihadists, is the sheepdogs.
Notice Fast/Furious, and THE EFFECT it had; cartels became heavily armed with truly military grade weopons, which they used on each other, the populace, etc.
They grew larger, bolder and regularly TERRORISE the citisens, DRIVING them into the U.S.
IN middleeast and Africa, terrorism DRIVES people to MIGRATE into Europe.
In both the U.S. and Europe, ignoring their citisens protests, the governments WELCOME these migrants, on humanitarian grounds excuses.
Its INTENTIONAL
Those excuses form a doctrine or theory, depending on which political faction you ask.
Liberating the “oppressed” from their “oppressor”…from Kenosha to Kabul.
R2P: responsibility to protect
“The Responsibility to Protect is a proposed norm that sovereignty is not an absolute right, and that states forfeit aspects of their sovereignty when they fail to protect their populations from mass atrocity crimes and human rights violations.”

I still believe Soros & his Committee of Evil control all things RAT.
Susan Rice may pull some strings; but, she’s not the Puppet Master… Not even her immediate boss, Obama, is THE Puppet Master. There’s at least one more layer between Obama and the real Puppet Master.
Yeah, Obama has always been a cipher, to be used and manipulated. Always best to find a narcissist with a shady background and no proven skills for that role. They’re easily manipulated.

wow. Too bad it wasn’t your “highest priority” a couple months ago when it would’ve made, you know………a difference.
Only a true sociopath could have laugh (nervous or not) over people caught in such a plight as anyone stuck in Afaganastan right now. The person is owned by the real evil “big guy”, Satan.
.
It is my sincere hope that Kamala is able to soon reject the father of lies.
Her laugh is her “tell” that she’s in over her head. It’s how she deals with things she doesn’t really understand while trying to remember her programmed response.
To me, the giggling reads like a pathetic “please like me” thing.
Yep. You took the words out of my mouth. “Please, media, notice I’m being friendly to you. I’m good-natured. I don’t consider myself above you.”
There was also a microexpression that passed over her face of true pleasure when she started to lie about it being their highest priority. She is pleased as punch that things are developing as they are.
Her face gives her away.
I got through three seconds of that before I couldn’t take it anymore.
“These people are sick…they go into the next room and laugh.” – PT
Duping Delight?
“The pleasure of being able to manipulate someone, often made visible to others by flashing a smile at an inappropriate moment.”
If they are trying to make the public believe they are in desagreement is because they are not in disagreement.
Swamp 101.
This. The contrived conflict is part of the divide-and-rule stratagem that has been part of the tyrant’s playbook from time immemorial. It is a Uniparty staple today, and for decades now. The idea is to get people fighting tribally over something immaterial, meanwhile the tyrants do what they want. So the tribes fight, and the fight itself becomes the central focus, rather than the issue.
“I stick to my tribe no matter what.”
That’s how McConnell rules. He can deliver whatever pile of slop he wants, and still get support from his “tribe”, who think the other “tribe” is evil (even while it’s delivering the same pile of slop McConnell is delivering).
McConnell’s “Cromnibus” budget creation process is the vehicle by which he delivers the slop, with no accountability whatsoever. “There is a (contrived) crisis and we have to do this.”
All of this slop is funded by McConnell at the behest of his paymasters. Until WE change, this won’t change. Our misdirected tribalism is the proximate cause of this situation.
Is it just me, or they are doubling down on their strategy of playing dumb?
They go on TV and say one thing then someone else contradicts.
Remember these radicals are *extremely* organized and always have ONE narrative. It’s very well coordinated. Even fake news spills the same narrative over and over.
“the walls are closing in”
So, the TV show disagreement is also coordinated to be that way. That I am 100% sure.
This doubling down on this playing dumb strategy makes sense if the goal is to further undermine the U.S. citizen’s trust in its government, a necessary step to fundamentally change our way of government.
Well, yes – except that they think of themselves as the “fundamental” change – so wouldn’t this mean they are undermining themselves?
Occam’s Razor I guess – it’s just random chaos on purpose…
There is a component to this that cant be denied- except by those hiding the truth. The Spiritual side of all this. Nick Redfern has written about how an acquaintance of his was approached by some Government scientists concerned about a program where by they were attempting to contact “non human entities ” in order to harness thire power for military purposes. Well those are demons and they cant be harnessed. Instead they will use those that attempt to use them. Teams 1 and 2 are examples of the evil unleased by those assholes plain and simple. We will never win this war unless we call evil by its name.
A separate but similar matter is BLM’s Patrisse Cullors (ex-BLM, I guess now) who calls on the spirits of dead slaves to guide her.
Non-human entities that are demons certainly exist; but non-human entities don’t NECCESSARILY equal demons; especially, if you believe God has existed forever and that He did not simply sit on His thumbs doing zilch for all that time until he got bored from doing nothing and decided one day to create Earth and populate it with humans.
SURELY, He was doing SOMETHING for all that time. If not, His existence would be very un-God like boring; so, why is it so hard to at least contemplate the possibility that He may have spent a little time creating other entire universes/worlds with or without planets and populate those places with lifeforms we may or may not recognize as such?
and the party that is supposed to represent conservatives is MIA or controlled opposition.
People waste their time going on and on about Biden/Harris. They are just puppets easily replaced by other puppets. It is People Power pin pointed on the real issue….fraudulent elections the difference-maker.
Belittling Biden/Harris is as productive as a herd of steers.
Unfortunately, it needs to be pointed out to some…
Biden/Harris are like all other rented politicians. They have two primary functions for which they are well compensated: (1) reliably do what they are told by those who pay them as long as they are in their positions, and (2) serve as a sink for emotional catharsis of trampled voters by serving as a vehicle for personalization of voter discontent. This is true for both parties. It is a fake democracy.
“Be mad at Bush! Be mad at Obama! Be mad at Biden! Don’t look above them and see who is pulling their puppet strings with bribery and coercion.” When you get rid of Bush, Obama, or Biden you cheer and are happy for a while but eventually you notice that the next guy is more of the same. The cycle repeats. That’s why finally getting a good man, Pres. Trump, into the Oval Office changed little. The problem has not been a few bad apples for a very, very long time. The entire barrel is rotten all the way to the bottom.
The Uniparty suggested Biden run with Romney.
A neoliberalcon utopia.

It is worse than pure poison; just give it time…
Secretary of State Antony Blinken appeared this morning on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’
ANTONY BLINKEN: They[the Taliban]– they are in control of Kabul. That is the reality. That’s the reality that– that we have to deal with.
MAJOR GARRETT: How comfortable are you with that, Mister Secretary?
ANTONY BLINKEN: My– what– I’m what I’m focused on, what we’re all focused on is getting people out and making sure that we’re doing everything possible to do that. And in this case, it is, I think, a requirement of the job to be in contact with– with the Taliban, which controls Kabul. And, look, what we’ve seen, Major, is– is– is also pretty remarkable. Go back a week. The government fell. And, by the way, I was on the phone with– with Presiden Karzai the day before when he was telling me his intent, as he put it, to fight to the death. [Karzai is the Former President of Afghanistan]
Well, the next day he was gone. [Ghani is the absconded current President of Afghanistan] The military collapsed. And in the space of that week, our military went in, secured the airport, got our embassy to safety at the airport from the embassy compound, began this remarkable evacuation effort. And as I said, we had about eight thousand people out just in the last twenty-four hours. Since going back to the end of July it’s thirty thousand people. And that’s quite extraordinary. It doesn’t just happen. A tremendous amount of planning and effort went into that, including a lot of preplanning. And that’s what we’re focused on now, getting that mission done.
Although Karzai hasn’t been the Afghan President since 2014, I personally don’t think that Blinken misspoke when he stated that he spoke with President Karzai but I do think Blinken is trying to misdirect from how closely he’s working with Karzai by leaving the impression that Karzai is Ghani and is now ‘gone’.]
August 15, 2021 – thetellerreport
Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai announced that he had contacted Taliban leaders to resolve the Afghan crisis, in what he described as peaceful and brotherly ways. The committee consists of Karzai himself, Abdullah Abdullah and Hekmatyar.
Karzai – who served as President of Afghanistan after the US invasion between 2001 and 2014, before Ghani succeeded him – said that the committee is made up of him himself in addition to the head of the Supreme Council for National Reconciliation in Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah, a veteran leader of the “Afghan Jihad” and leader of the Islamic Party Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
The committee called on Afghan government forces and Taliban fighters in the capital, Kabul, to prevent chaos and to maintain restraint.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif welcomed the formation of the Afghan committee to oversee the transition of power in the country, and Zarif – in a tweet via Twitter – expressed his hope that the committee’s coordination would lead to dialogue and the peaceful transfer of power in the war-torn country.
Let’s not forget that the GOPe rubber stamped Biden’s cabinet with little to no resistance and were keeping a Daily and Nightly Praetorian guard watch to prevent Trump from any recess appointments. Mitch McFailure, you’re quite the hero.
Thanks for this – now I get the math.
They’re conflating everybody that came back before the debacle – with the supposed 8,000 they got out this week (I’ll believe that when I see it notarized). Rounding up a bit, just a bit, to get to – 30,000!
Furthermore, weren’t there only 169 American citizens among the 8,000?
The FUBAR is minute-by-minute…
I believe the total figure for Americans is closer to 1000.,..the 169 figure comes from a single plane evacuation of over 800
The Taliban have long been an ally of the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate (ISI). This article from Lawfare starts out with:
Reading the full Lawfare article causes one to ask many questions about which internally opposing factions within the US Government are now aligned with which internally opposing factions within Pakistan’s government.
Not only concerning how these alignments affect the problem of Afghanistan, but also about the Biden administration’s policy towards Iran, which is an extension of Barack Obama’s pro-Iranian, anti-Gulf Arab tilt.
Given that a cabal of former Obama advisors runs the show in the Biden administration, there’s no surprise that Biden tilts towards Iran.
The Taliban and the Pakistan Army ISI are known to be intensely anti-Shiite and despise Iran. They are likewise intensely anti-Hindu and despise India.
So now we must ask a further question: did the Pakistan Army ISI work with the Taliban to quickly overthrow the US supported Afghan government? (I think it likely they did.)
But looking deeper … did pro-Pakistan factions within the US Government use their influence to push an outcome in Afghanistan highly favorable to Pakistan’s long term interests?
Is this a possible reason why the Biden administration’s chaotic pullout from Afghanistan was so impossibly muddled — almost schizophrenic in its execution?
Thanks for the interesting post… I can’t get the link to the LawFare article to work…
I would like to read the entire article…
Hey Road Runner… found a typo in the URL behind the hyperlink above. Try this:

Thanks Mad Mike…
Thanks as well for supplying the correct link. It got mangled somehow when I loaded the URL into the display text.
This is the same narrative of Lara Logan. Her one hour interview with Tucker on Fox Nation was very interesting. She has a thought provoking and rather disturbing angle on all this.
She says ISI funds Tally Ban and WE fund the ISI. Worse yet, she says the govt knows this.
Apparently we treat Pakistan with more respect than due to 6th century land-pirates.
Lara has apparently done her own 1 hr on Afghanistan and it airs tonite on FoxNews. Would highly recommend.
You might find it being streamed by some thief on youtube. FoxNews primetime has been, lately

Sundance,
I cannot thank you enough for the very tough job you and your staff do to get information to us. and not just any information, you provide the “go deeps’ in everything. i use some of the things i read here when i call senators and congressmen. tomorrow i will begin again starting with Alabama and call all day to let the government that works for me know that we are not complacint in the nature they do things. Your site is my most recommended to others. i learn so much and im so grateful. its time to donate again and to ask others here to give……
thank you again Sundance God be with you !
Why am I picturing the two Globe Trotter teams coached by China?
It is hard for me to get this image out of my brain. American actor, bodybuilder and wrestler John Cena apologizing *in Mandarin* for calling Taiwan a country.
https://nypost.com/2021/05/25/john-cena-apologizes-in-mandarin-for-calling-taiwan-a-country/
For the first time in our nation’s military history, we have surrendered to a foreign enemy – completely abandoning military bases, billions of dollars’ worth of top secret military equipment, and our citizens and allies – including our European ones in NATO.
We did not do this because a victorious enemy general demanded it: in fact, we did it without firing a shot. We did it because our de facto Commander-in-Chief – whoever he might actually be – ordered it. In spite of being in full possession of detailed plans which would have left the enemy with nothing, s/he ordered our military to surrender while leaving the enemy everything.
Notice also that the subsequent plans have not lifted a finger to do anything about it.
Now do you comprehend the true consequences of election fraud? Now are you finally ready to do something about it?
You don’t have “four more years.” You don’t even have two!
Biden can’t fight the 100 million American people who have guns. Instead lets give tax payer paid for guns to the Biden proxie army in Afghanistan.
Sundance,
Amen.
Which “team” is Fox News playing for in these scenarios?
The Uniparty one.
Their majority shareholders’ bank accounts.
K Street sellout team so UniParty.
They occasionally put on a front as being anti-Deep State but don’t believe them. NEVER trust them.
Sundance – This article has solidified the various department-propaganda outlet teams because the realtime Afghanistan disaster has been a timely example of the Teams. Now it is registering for me. I even made my own scorecard. This article has taken me to a new level of a big picture understanding of the dynamics of the department behind the propaganda.
Thank you for persisting in posting about this topic several times. Our realtime Afghanistan event has turned on the lightbulb of understanding the dynamics.
I disagree with your military assessment..while they are working for that to be the case the operational side of the US military is STILL something to be feared worldwide…the LE$ADERSHIP is another matter..this would result in its inadequate or improper use but not diminish its potential capabilities
Can these two sides cause the other side to implode/collapse?
Why are these idiots wearing masks, I expect they are all vaccinated. Our country is being be run by evil idiots. God help us.
The globalists own the media. They are a true enemy to democracy. That’s why they support these pathological liars and coverup their gross ineptitude. As for the bureaucrats that work for these agencies they are a bunch of parasites sucking off the government teet not making any waves and sleeping their way to their bloated pension.
Inadvertent, or deliberate, seems possible with the afghanistan clusterf*ck, the U.S. may be CREATING Terrorists, sworn to hate, and revenge against America, and with nothing to lose.
Out of the very people who were “pro-democracy” and “pro-America”.
With abandoning these afghans, and their families to the brutality of the Taliban, any who manage to escape, perhaps seeing or certainly knowing the fate of those they left behind,..may swear undieing revenge AGAINST America.
Oh, great! JUST what we need,…MORE Terrorists from the middle east, chanting “Death to America!”
And can you blame them,..?
Isn’t there a law somewhere that the Dems and GOP can’t fire blacks?
If the left is fighting amongst itself it presents an opportunity for the right. If conservatives have any skill they will look to exploit the division while trying to get the moderates to side with republicans.
The deal made will have purging the leftists as priority one.
Biden is a horrible leader. And no doubt, his “team” led him astray on the Afganistan exit strategy(as well as border and energy decisions). Any good leader would look at rebuilding his entire staff.
Furthermore, blaming Trump for this disaster is pathetic. Trump’s exit timeline may have been agressive, but could have been easily (and properly) accomplished, had they simply thought through the process and had a serious conversation with Taliban leadership – reinforcing guidelines and promising to cut off their heads should they “invade” the cities.
This latest decision, imho, are grounds for impeachment (incompetance), but I hesitate to encourage my representatives of this strategy, given who inherits an impeached Biden’s responsibilities.
