Facing massive political pressure for his sexual improprieties, sexual harassment allegations, abuses of power and generally creepy conduct in office; in other words – he’s a Democrat; today New York Governor Andrew announced his resignation.
NEW YORK (AP) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his resignation Tuesday over a barrage of sexual harassment allegations in a fall from grace a year after he was widely hailed nationally for his detailed daily briefings and leadership during some of the darkest days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a televised address, the 63-year-old Democrat emphatically denied intentionally showing any disrespect toward women but said that fighting back against what he called the “politically motivated” attack on him would subject the state to months of turmoil, and “I cannot be the cause of that.” “The best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing,” Cuomo said.
The creepy idol for the leftist political media continued to proclaim his innocence and called the charges of his sexual misconduct “a distraction” keeping him from the duties of his office. However, a previous state investigation showed Cuomo consistently forced kisses upon his female staff; groped their breasts and buttocks and repeatedly touched them inappropriately.
When complaints were made against him, the governors office retaliated and the investigators said Cuomo created a work environment “rife with fear and intimidation.”
Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, a 62-year-old fellow Democrat and ideological traveler with support from the progressive NY tribe of socialists, will become the state’s 57th governor and the first woman to hold the job.
When Andy Cuomo put his hand on Gov Kate Brown’s rear end at a conference, that was a bridge too far even for the Communists.
No, I believe the Communists are watching there own backsides where the COVID19/2020 Election scandal is concerned. Cuomo would have blown the cover off of COVID19 in order to save himself from facing the music over his decisions to cause over 13,000 old folks to die from ‘COVID19’ exposure. This man and the Communists are never to be trusted on anything they do!
Excellent news, now charge him with murder for the deaths in the old folks home by seeding them with people infected with the CHINA VIRUS. Good riddance to him and soon the mayor of NYC.
Since the AG of New York is a Communist, I doubt Cuomo’s actions as a useful idiot will ever get into a court of law. That is, until after the Communists have gained complete control of our Country.
The path for Cuomo to run for President is actually being cleared right now. While everyone is being made to believe he is resigning because of sexual indiscretions with female staff members, he will be given the usual blanket pass from the Feds and the State of New York for the murder of around 13,000 New Yorkers during the COVID19 political hoax. I hope I am wrong, but this is what I think is happening in the Government wide effort to keep the lid on the biggest real political scandal in US history.
