During a press conference today to push vaccines as the primary mitigation effort against COVID-19 ‘delta variant’ [full video here], New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told private businesses to start a vaccine-only admission practice.
Cuomo said he thinks implementing “vaccine-only admission” will help incentivize New Yorkers to get inoculated. “If you say to people, ‘Well, if you don’t have a vaccine, you can’t get into these establishments,’ then you will see a real incentive to get vaccinated,” he said. WATCH:

The Ugly New Yorker
The attitude displayed in this brief soundbite is exactly the reason why many people in the land of freedom have a horrible opinion of New Yorkers in general. The self-centered arrogance and condescending tone on display is ugly to many people, myself included. This attitude is why people don’t want New Yorker’s moving to their area.
My vaccination status is none of your business. If you want to live in fear then stay home. Your paranoia is not my concern.
The despicable Governor, who has not even apologized for the massive number of avoidable deaths his policies caused, could have said:
“When I take a walk in the crime riddled park, I want to know if the person walking toward me on the path is vaccinated or an irresponsible dishonest creep like my COVID infected brother Chris who secretly left his basement quarantine during the peak of the epidemic. He later recorded himself walking up his basement stairs like he was a hero and it was the 1st time he had walked up them since his seclusion began. Some people, like my brother and I, can’t be trusted on anything. “
Cuomo would be terrified to walk a city street, stroll through Washington Square Park or ride a subway. He has a greater chance of being victimized by violence than the China Flu.
Wasn’t Cuomo begging people to return NYC recently. This is why they left in the first place.
We lived in NYC Metro area all our lives (in mid-60s now). Couldn’t get to Florida fast enough this year. We took our seven-figure retirement savings, $100K annual income and reasonably good health to the Sunshine State before Cuomo could lay his grubby paws on them.

If it is true that the delta variant is propagated and spread primarily by vaccinated individuals (as some medical doctors have suggested), then vaccine only businesses may be some of the most dangerous places in America and should be avoided at all cost!

I live in NY. This will only put more restaurants and small businesses out of business. There are no tourists coming here, WHY would they? To be robbed, shot, pushed in front of moving trains and beaten in the street? There are homeless, mentally disturbed, drug addicts and predators roaming freely among us. I am not a New Yorker, never been there and do not intend on going. But the fellow that has seemed to uncover all this BS and corruption in our Federal Government is indeed a New Yorker. And if it were NOT for his brash, sometimes egotistical and self-centeredness (that’s how he rolls :)) we would still be wandering in the darkness as the Socialist State continued to infiltrate ever deeper. The Donald showed us the way. It takes that type of personality, apparently, and will power, discipline and out right baldyness to claim your ground in DC, not just New York. And many dislike him for this, even hate him but, again, that’s how he rolls and it IS effective. In fact, if he had been just a little more’ baldi’ we might have rooted out more of the bad guys than we did.
If the PCR tests are useless and worthless how does anyone know if there was or is a pandemic? The PCR tests are what everything is working off of. People die everyday of a number of illnesses. Why would the CDC direct hospitals to label every death as a Kung Flu death just because they “tested” positive but had 2 gunshots in the back of the head or a car accident that busted them up or cancer or heart attack? It is all nonsense. There is no pandemic. Period.
We have a health food store in town who has never stopped requiring masks. I have not seen more than one other customer in it since the masks Everywhere Else stopped. I only go last resort. I was only customer, clerk was behind plastic wall and counter, masked and 15ft away and she still insisted I completely mask up; even after I explained that I have asthma.
I am going to miss that store….
