The vaccine mandate will begin sooner for other city workers. The mayor previously announced a similar requirement, with an August 2 deadline, for medical workers employed by city health clinics or public hospitals.
Additionally, 45,000 government employees that work in residential and congregate settings, such as nursing homes, will have until August 16 to comply. August 2 also marks the reinforcement of a mask mandate for unvaccinated city government employees.
“If you are unvaccinated and you are a city employee, beginning on Monday you must either wear a mask indoors at your worksite at all times or, if you would prefer not to, you have to immediately go get vaccinated,” de Blasio said.
An analysis completed by The City shows that the vaccination rates for many city agencies are lagging behind New York City’s general adult population. Reportedly, only 43 percent of the members of the NYPD are vaccinated and 51 percent of FDNY firefighters. The Department of Corrections, at 42 percent, has a lower rate than both of those departments.
Last week, de Blasio made his support for vaccine mandates clear and urged private employers to implement them for their own employees, saying the rule will “get more people vaccinated.”
“We have reached the limits of a purely voluntary system. It’s time for more mandates, different kinds, different places, different approaches,” de Blasio said in an interview with WNYC Friday.
The mayor reiterated that tone during today’s press conference, telling private employers to “go as far as you can go right now.”
“Each private sector employer needs to do what they believe is right. But I would strongly urge a vaccination mandate whenever possible or as close to it as possible. At minimum, requiring all of your employees to get vaccinated or to do weekly testing,” he said. (read more)

I’m going to repeat a point I made earlier, one many appear to be missing.
Legally, he is not mandating vaccination.
What he is doing is creating a dual system by presenting a false set of choices. You can get vaccinated, which is what he wants… or you can refuse vaccination and be punished by living a masked, miserable, ostracized life in which performing daily activities is time-consuming and irritating.
This is how it works in the People’s Republic of China when it comes to controlling daily activities such as checking in at train stations. For many activities there is the easy, preferred, method and the difficult, non-preferred, method. Most people take the path of least resistance and comply.
Here in the US, this approach nicely side-steps many of the potential legal challenges as well. Technically no one is being compelled to endure the jabs, but in reality the two choices are constructed in a such way that doing so will really be the only viable option. It is a tactic which somehow manages to be even more dishonest than a straight-up mandate.

Reminds me that I saw an article today about “women noticing bigger breasts after vaccine shots.”
While it seems like a humorous click-bait headline which lessens the scare factor (which I am sure was the intent), those bothering to read the article discovered more women are getting mammograms after discovering enlarged lymph nodes.
So these women weren’t marveling at an increased cup size, they were concerned about the sudden appearence of shot-related breast lumps. A side-effect, the author felt the need to point out, is “very rare.”
And they’ve known about the Lymph Node thing from the 1st week these vaxxes were rolled out.
Just like the heart problems.

There is no way another vaccine would still be in use with this number of serious side effects and deaths. They just keep pushing there agenda. Something is going to start popping off.
As I see it, the lymph node issue is not necessarily a red flag. Lymph nodes are part of the immune system and enlarged nodes are, generally, a common result of immune responses.

A mammogram is an invasive procedure, and the decision to get one reflects a high level of anxiety- which itself demonstrates a lack of basic understanding about the shots’ potential side effects.
That is troubling when considering we are discussing an experimental treatment which has been administered hundreds of millions of times. The responsibility for this ignorance is partially the individuals, partially the providers, and partially the promoters. In any event, it demonstrates a dangerous illiteracy regarding m-RNA treatments and suggests people are assuming risks without sufficient information to make such decisions.
