Over the past 18-months, the various healthcare institutions of the U.S. government and private healthcare industry have suffered a catastrophic collapse in credibility as it relates to COVID-19. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is now recommending that all children over 2-years-old must wear masks next school year regardless of vaccination status. Students over age 2 and staff should wear face masks regardless of coronavirus vaccination status as “a significant portion of the student population is not yet eligible for vaccines.” (read more)
A reasonable person might think that with all the evidence showing incredible psychological harm to young people who are becoming increasingly isolated, the AAP would halt their participation in the propaganda. Alas, the opposite is true. This is abusive behavior now.

I would imagine that the American Academy of Pediatrics is much like the American Medical Association. There is a chasm of difference between the national group and individual doctors. Chances are, your kids personal doctor (if they are any good) practices independent thought and follows the science. The national group follows the national level politics.

My confidence in Pediatric doctors in general went to zero when they started feeding our kids Psych drugs with impunity. The side effects can be devastating and your child is labeled for life. Psychiatry usefulness is one of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated on humanity. This is another instance of government funding creating the problem. I know far too many who were put on drugs. I believe there is NO documented U.S. case of someone under 18 dying OF COVID-19. There are a few hundred cases of death WITH COVID-19, in other words with significant co-morbidities.
Somebody owns the AAP. Pediatricians are generally among the better doctors but doctors professional societies are usually only a minority of those in the specialty. They draw heavily from the politically/power oriented of that group.
