Friend of the Treehouse John Spiropoulos attended a rally in Orange County, California, organized by parents who are confronting the insufferable rules and dictates from the local school board.
The event took place on Monday at the Orange County Department of Education. More than 300 Orange County California parents demand the Department of Education eliminate the requirement that students must wear masks at schools. The event is covered in four video segments:

My issue with mask people is they can’t figure out masks are totally worthless preventing Covid. I always think what else can they be easily lied about?….I guess I know the answer, but still makes it so disappointed just how dumb and stupid so many people.

I’m a “senior” man. I don’t wear a mask anywhere except to hospital as they won’t treat me otherwise. The only time anyone commented on my not wearing a mask of submission was a senior woman. I exploded. I am embarrassed I lost my cool. I doubt she will do that again so there is that.

No one in my family of 13 wears a mask or has been vaccinated, EVER! I’m 85, and we kiss and hug and walk right into stores and anywhere else, have NEVER been challenged to wear a mask………um, probably because I am wheelchair bound.

I have not worn a mask from the beginning…except to get into Dentist. I have been pretty much the only one without a mask in most locations. Last week our Gov (Dem) removed all mask mandates, social distancing (except kids..so sick) so I went into the grocery store and 90% of the people still wearing mask…mental illness in great numbers in NC.
It’s pretty much the same in Indiana. Our governor (RINO) had a rather soft mask mandate which he lifted in early April. But, some of our cities and counties and most businesses have continued with the mandates on their own. Even now, people are reluctant to give up the masks. Stores have lightened up on their “please wear a mask” signs but I am usually one of only a couple shoppers who are maskless. Every once in a while I catch a masked husband and wife looking at me with worried eyes. It makes me feel like one of the last humans in Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Same here in Utah, Mama. Our mask mandate has been lifted and there is still at least 50% of the general population walking around with their masks on- even driving alone in their vehicles – there’s no hope for this type of person…brainwashed to the mask!
Here in Western Colorado, masks have been ignored for a long time. Yes there were those who wore them, but several businesses gave up requiring them long ago. I got a haircut in April because I was getting pretty shaggy since I refused to wear a mask while getting my haircut. The lady said they no longer require appointments or masks, although she was required to wear one. She is moving to Texas.
Tonight, my wife and I went to a local popular burger joint. There must have easily been 60-70 people there. No restrictions anywhere on seating. Staff without masks. We saw 2 people getting take-out wearing a mask.

What no one has even considered is how children’s volumetric airflow through their mouth nostrils and more importantly their nasopharynx is three to five times smaller than an adult’s in order to adequately respirate and oxygenate their blood. That combined with the relative ineffectiveness of masks against viral particles themselves (as witnessed by last winters spike in COVID-19 cases in spite of the generalized mask mandates). This in addition to the questionable ability of many school age children to wear and position their masks correctly and sit still and concentrate in class makes this whole thing into nothing more than a charade of control and oppression by the Teachers Unions and their minions in the Democratic Party.

Glad you like the reports. The parents spoke from the heart. It’s rare that every interview contributes to the story line but in this case they did. That’s why I used every one of them, spreading them out over four videos.

As for the commenters outside California, Orange County has two Republican members of Congress. So there are a lot of conservatives in this part of California.

I loved living in Orange Co. California. I’m from West Ga., my Dad was USAF my entire child hood.
I got over having to move by the time I was 35. I played baseball in Costa Mesa in the seventies when John Wayne past away. I was over whelmed, even intimated by the folks of Orange County.
These people in these videos are children of the the Californian’s, who created suburbs, the true definition of suburbs. Suburbs are where a family of modest means, could own their own shelter, with running water, plumbing, shelter from the weather, climate control from energy, which could keep them comfortable.
