Yesterday Kamala Harris rebuked the effort of Joe Biden to put her in charge of the collapsing border crisis he created. Harris said through her spokesperson Symone Sanders: ““I will just reiterate that the VP is not doing the border. The president asked the vice president to take on the diplomatic efforts with Mexico and countries of the North Triangle to address the root causes of migration.”” Apparently, even Kamala Harris isn’t stupid enough to take responsibility for a problem that is getting worse.
Today in McAllen, Texas, the Biden team were flying illegal aliens to other locations in order to reduce the overcrowding. According to OAN journalist Jenn Peligrino: “Approx 40% of the airport traffic this morning at Texas’ McAllen International appear to be migrants headed within the US. They are carrying boarding passes & paperwork that indicates they do not speak English.”
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The federal government announced last week that the Biden administration would use the San Diego Convention Center to house migrant minors from across the U.S.-Mexico border. Buses of children are expected to arrive in San Diego starting today. (link)
Meanwhile on the receiving end, the Biden administration has removed the regulation requiring background checks for those who take custody of unaccompanied minor children as DHS starts allowing emergency contractors to step-in and take over.

These emergency sites don’t have to be licensed by state authorities or provide the same services as permanent HHS facilities. They also cost far more, an estimated $775 per child per day.
And to staff the sites quickly, the Biden administration has waived vetting procedures intended to protect minors from potential harm.

In California, they are urging approved Foster Homes to take 26 migrants. That is Twenty-Six people added into likely a 3 or 4 or 5 bedroom house. It’s an attractive offer if you multiply 26 times $775.00 = $20,150 PER DAY!!! The care and living conditions would be horrendous…but they would be out of site.
The other thing that I had never heard is that once a child is placed in Foster Care, he/she is entitled to Citizenship! How is that possible? Is that another motive to squeeze these migrants into Foster Homes?
It just gets more unbelievable every day. I live in Northern San Diego County and when I went to Home Depot today, the parking lot was was swarming with Hispanic men aggressively trying to pick up day labor. Just today, 1000 migrants are being placed downtown in the Convention Center.

Back in the late 90s when the first two illegal alien families bought 2 5 acre parcels on our street we treated them like natives.
Not too long after they moved in we could see them out back on their property trying to dig a very big hole for something. Then several of the men on the street got out their tractors with scoops and went over and offered to help dig. The aliens said they could not pay. The men said neighbors don’t charge each other for help.
I rescued abandoned animals then (still do) and sometimes a critter would get off my property. I enlisted the kids, particularly the anchor baby kids, to help me find them. While we searched I used the time talking about America and what it means to be an American.
Fast forward some years to 2016. One of those kids who had turned 18 stopped by to see me and say hi. He told me he had voted for president and he was very proud of it. I asked who he voted for. President Trump!

I am a third generation American. Both sets of grandparents came here legally from Europe. As it turned out my father’s mother came to Ellis Island, as did my mother’s parents. My father’s mother did not have a sponsor and she was going to be sent back on the next boat.
At that time to come her legally you had to have a sponsor so you wouldn’t be a burden to the state and had to support yourself. My father’s father married her on the spot to prevent her from being sent back on the next boat and his sponsor agreed to sponsor both of them. They had planned on marrying once they got settled here so it was just moved up. I don’t remember how many years they were married – 60 or 70 years – and both have since died. They didn’t divorce and had a good marriage. I don’t know if she understood she was required to have a sponsor and thought we would make an exception … I never did ask her about that. They didn’t make exceptions. The rules were the same for all. Both worked hard and started a business. They were never a burden to the state and even signed up at a local high school to learn English and they paid for that too. They wanted to assimilate.
I don’t want people coming here illegally. It makes a mockery of those that wait in line for years, go by the rules and pay hefty legal fees to be legal citizens. Many wait years depending on the country they are coming from. There is no reason we should allow illegals to invade us like this or settle for this. The family you helped was very fortunate but most people don’t do that and it was a very different time. I noticed the age you mentioned – 18 years ago. Things were not as crazy and they had a different attitude towards our country.
I see our country being overwhelmed with people that we would not normally take in. Not only is it unfair to others that play by the rules, illegals put themselves in danger with what they are doing. This is literally an expensive invasion going on with no end in sight. I’m with you 100% on everything you wrote, Ned. When I came here to Porterville in 1982 it was about 90% white, 10% Hispanic. Most folks were retired. Porterville at that time had the largest percentage of veterans per capita than anywhere in the US. It was very small, less than 15,000. And there was virtually no violent crime.
By about 2000 Porterville was about 50-50 Hispanic and white, with about 30% of the Hispanic population being illegal. Gangs arrived and began killing people. I stopped going into town after dark.
Now Porterville is 70-30, Hispanic to white. And of that 70% probably 60% are illegal. Theft and violent crime are through the roof. Our wonderful small town is but a memory. Gang graffiti is common place
But, Ned, I cannot let my extreme disapproval turn to constant anger and frustration. That only hurts me. So I do what I can in my small sphere of influence to promote American and all we stand for. I have no intention of selling and running away. I intend to stay and do everything I can to change even a small part of the tide that is coming.

Here’s what those states along the border should do. Those states along the southern border should hire ICE and other border protection guards directly for their individual states to get around any executive action from the Biden administration that hinders their ability to protect the border. Also, whereever the wall is not fully complete, the states near the uncompleted areas should also hire those who were working on finishing the wall before Biden basically fired them. Finally, pass nullification bills on the state level nullifying any federal action(even from the supreme court) that too hinders the states from being able to protect their borders.
It may appear to be a clusterflub, but the intent was always to move these illegals into red states and districts. Flooding the zone, as they say in sports.

I hear so much concern for illegals coming, and feel sorry for them — but little is said about the impact on our American children whose care and education will surely be impacted as school systems become flooded and stressed by such a huge influx of children illegally here. And how can American taxpayers afford to provide a good education to American children and all of these other children too? What about American parents already struggling in raising and educating their own children in the midst of a pandemic?
So much for Mr. Nice Guy. Did he go rogue on the illegal alien children at the press conference? Is that why Harris is refusing to take over the border crisis? A reporter was following a group on their way to the border. in the rear of the group was a little girl led by her hand, she was white as me! With bright red hair braided down to her waist. She seemed so out of place. When you see large groups of these children, there are always some that don’t seem to fit in.
