Getting LTC Allen West as RPT chairman was a big improvement. When he moved back here as a civilian a few years ago, I think it was to primary John Cornyn. As far as I can tell, he is MAGA and not all that interested in cultivating Uniparty candidates. I’ll continue to watch, but I think LTC West may be willing to take the RNC’s money and use it to build the MAGA party in Texas.

Before, a single PCR test was enough to get counted as COVID-19. The new standard requires additional tests and criteria if there is no presentation of symptoms, as well as consideration of other factors.
The new standard will NOT be applied retroactively, so it will appear as a fall off in cases.

I spent the first week of 2021 in the hospital with covid pneumonia. As of last week Thursday may PCR test was still positive. I am having another one done on Monday. Now I’m pretty sure it will turn out negative. BTW, I am doing the testing at my local doctor who is a friend. They still have to send the PCR tests out.

2-3 days. I imagine I’ll have them by Wednesday. The only reason I even bother is that the lung specialists are going much harder core than the CDC and want me to have a negative PCR before they see me in person. I’d like to have a second ct scan done to make sure that everything has cleared from the lungs. Although, I think I am pretty much there. I’m off the oxygen pretty much throughout the day and my saturation levels stay at 97-98%. And I am pushing 4000 mls on the spirometer (the lung exercise gizmo) when my physiological volume is about 3,300. So I’m praising the Lord and waiting for some new very necessary toys to arrive.

Evangelicals being wary of Trump is understandable after 8 years of abuse from an unbelieving POTUS ( Obama). So, Trump had to pick Pence to win over evangelicals, who thought he wouldn’t be a champion of religious freedom.

The difficult part for the judiciary is if they’ve created precedent, it would depend on what Trump EO’s were found not lawful and then use that precedent, but if the matter was appealed and Trump eventually won then the path has been made for Biden. I don’t know exactly which Trump EO’s eventually survived or which were not.

My wife, this am, said something that made me say yes!!!! She’s a left leaning independent who voted for Trump (I’ve shared many stories about here). So when she said this:
“If we have an Islamic Terror attack, regardless of its ‘size’, I hope take notice. We didn’t have one under Trump and now we do. Look at the things he’s done in one day!”
I said “yes, and it will be used as an excuse to go back to war”.
Interesting thought she shared.
If that’s an “Order” it’s so vague to be meaningless other than Joe can say he did something. It says “guidance” applicable to activities. I read this as a surge of bureaucrats are needed at the border. Fine. All lefties report to the border for covid infection!

This open borders policy will destroy the small towns of border states. Our schools cannot accommodate these hordes, our taxes will go sky high and we have no budget for more police to manage the crime.
