CALIFORNIA – The California Globe has confirmed with two sources that Richard C Blum, who is married to California’s senior US Senator, Dianne Feinstein, is in talks with the Biden transition committee about an ambassadorship. The understanding is that if such an opportunity were provided to Blum, an investor and philanthropist, Feinstein would exit the US Senate.
Feinstein has served in the US Senate for 28 years, having first been elected in a 1992 special election to fill the seat of Senator Pete Wilson, who resigned to become California’s governor. Democrats have been searching for a gentle way to ease the 87-year-old Feinstein out of office. Feinstein, who voted to authorize the use of military force in Iraq in 2002.
During the financial crisis, Feinstein sponsored legislation to provide $25 billion in public money to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, which awarded CB Richard Ellis what the Washington Times characterized as “a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms.” (link)
In the insider game of selling influence for personal affluence Senator Feinstein was an apex player in her prime. However, she is no longer of value to the tribe as the more totalitarian crew are waiting in the wings to push a more extreme ideological effort.

Tutor Perini has been ripping off California taxpayers, both at the state and local levels, for decades. I’m well read but until today I did not know about Blum’s ties to it nor did I know about Tutor Perini being a defense contractor. I bet they were all over that contract to build that most expensive in the history of the world gas station in Afghanistan at a cost of tens of millions.
In CA, the Tutor Perini business model was/is to low bid on everything but through clever contract writing be able to come in with enormous cost overruns that had to be paid once work was underway.

ps….it is WELL KNOWN the Senator Feinstein used her position in congress and also her political influence in California to pave the way for COSTCO to use the Long Beach Terminal Port for an exclusive nearly tariff free trade deal. As far a business goes, this was enormously profitable to her and husband and other congressional investors…all who made BILLIONS by banking on a little known chinese shipping company that would later go on to dominate the big box retail sector….all other big box store models followed this same scheme…all made possible by big foot political types selling this new industry changing shift as some kind of benefit to the US economy (jobs)…at the expense of the small biz owners who lost big….and could never compete…And worse, they sold this idea that giving China a big slice of the american pie, this would lead to a “normalized” nation building they “envisioned” would happen to the communist regime.
of course, we know NONE of that happened…and none of it was credible either. This was aboout concentrating retail consumer markets and having leverage with a foreign power to deliver special benefits to a very small group of hyper wealthy power brokers.

On the microphone, live TV, she said, “I have not seen any evidence to support Trump /Russia collusion”. She has never been forgiven by her party or swamp.
