While there have been many memorable and historic moments in the 2016 campaign season, the midnight Trump rally in Leesburg Virginia will be one that goes into the history books for our grandchildren to read. We are very fortunate to have a first-hand report from Treeper Blognificent Bee who was in attendance:
~ The Midnight Rally of Trump Revere ~
Leesburg Rally Report by Blognificent Bee: While I am finally finding the energy to post some pics and jot out a few lines, Mr Trump has already completed another 2 rallies, and is on the way to his third of the day.

Being somewhat new to Loudoun County I did not know that the road to serving the fairgrounds barely fits one car each way, let alone thousands of streaming rally goers. I never fully understood whether there was on-site parking, but I ended up parking along the side of the road at the first open grass spot I saw (after seeing the CTH headline, I clocked my walk back to the car at 2.3 miles).
So there is a steady stream of people walking on this tiny unlit road, all happy and out of breath on the hills. Made it to the line, whoa – I had no clue there were this many Trumpians in NoVa. Typical vendors and crowd scene. Lots of people sharing the new commercial on their phones. I met several groups of nice people, especially a lady that invited me to a conservative ladies chat group on FB!

Upon entering the facility, seeing I was never going to be close to the front, I stationed myself as close to the RSBN camera guy (as I brought my ramshackle sign). He was so nice – they love what they are doing for The Movement.
Once we heard about the delay, he even came down and chatted with me for a while. RSBN really deserves our support – just like Sundance, NEW MEDIA will be needed even more after the MSM is shamed tomorrow. RSBN puts Trump rally sign on their tripod, so please don’t yell at them when we turn around and yell at the media!
When the couple hour delay was announced, about five, repeat 5, people left, from what I could count.
The local speakers started speaking, there was a spontaneous singing of God Bless America, and we all joined in with the singer for the National Anthem.
Happily the crowd was chocked full of young people! The crowd mix was like other rallies, a little bit of everyone – all races, ethnicity, families, singles, etc – and geez I though only a bunch of non-educated white guys supported Trump (/s). In between speakers it was so fun to check on CTH & Twitter to see other’s pics and comments.
We were all also obsessing about where was Mr Trump – it’s like NORAD tracking Santa! I am short and was surrounded by groupings of people that were all over 6 feet! So my viewing of speakers was limited, but the tall people took pictures for me of the speakers & DJT.
The crowd was amped, they were there to yell their chants and cheer on the next president. I would say that at least half of the people in my direct view were mouthing the words to Mr Trump’s speech right along with him.

The lead-up speakers of Oliver North, Laura Ingraham, and Franklin Graham really got the crowd over the edge! Laura’s speech just gave me chills and a few tears may have escaped.
Was so fun to flash my Bee “hearts” CTH & RSBN sign. I love to live vicariously through those attending rallies, so I just wanted to say Hi to you all!
After watching the video when I got home, I will say that I could never endeavor to work for any alphabet agency – my tells while prepping the sign were so obvious – lol at myself! The rally vibe is such a great feeling – it gets me giddy! And here comes Mr Trump!
His energy! And the crowd knew every single word of “Proud to Be An American” we were signing it at the top of our lungs! Made me think of our Deplorable song “Can You Hear The People Sing.”
I love that he had his notes jotted down on the back of Trump bumper sticker – blue collar billionaire that he is. When he said that he would call this speech “The Midnight Special,” the crowd loved it – including me!!

Just listening to Mr Trump, laughing, nodding in agreement, clapping, chanting our slogans – what a Movement, for sure. Knowing this would be my last rally of the election season was bittersweet – ready for President Trump, but the energy of this first campaign is just flat out special.

As we piled out, the crowd was held up for the motorcade to pass – I missed that, but it created a bit of push & shove as we were routed out a different way than the way we came in – so a bit of confusion ensued and there were also several medical events that transpired.
Once I got to the street (or shall I say, lane) there were cars in full gridlock on going both ways. There was no place to walk except right down the middle of the street between the cars. Is was a bit disconcerting, I felt like I was in a movie, where zombies were streaming out of the woods and onto the streets in the middle of the night! But we were happy and motivated zombies!
Left for the rally at 4:10 p.m., arrived home at 2:05 a.m. – what a great and fulfilling use of my time!
Thanks for indulging me to be on a CTH branch from which to buzz and flap my wings every now and then. I so appreciate all of the contributors that do the in-depth analysis of polls and the philosophers that share on a such a consistent basis. Chatting to you about my rally experiences is what I can offer – hope you enjoy.
I have attached a link to a few pics. Most are self-explanatory, but two of note: 1. How the CNN reporter (Dan Merica, I think) turns his back on the audience when we yell “CNN Sucks.” 2. My fave SS guy made a visit to the press pool, so I got a good pic. SEE HERE
