A horrific crime late last month as two black teenage girls in Washington DC were charged with murder following their attack on an Uber-eats driver, 66-year-old Pakistani immigrant, Mohammad Anwar. The event was caught on camera by a bystander. They assaulted Anwar with a stun gun and then proceeded to steal his car while he tried to stop them.
The suspects, ages 13 and 15, stand accused of attacking the driver inside his car as he was driving near Nationals Park in the southeast section of Washington DC. Despite having a long rap-sheet of prior criminal activity, in a stunning display of prosecutorial conduct today it is reported the teens reached the plea deal with prosecutors that would ensure they are not incarcerated past the age of 21 nor placed in a prison facility.

Under DC law, the 13-year-old could not be prosecuted as an adult due to her age. The judge set the next court date for April 20 to discuss the status of the case.

I watched that whole thing go down as someone was recording on their phone and running to the sound of the crash. I was appalled at these two young yet soulless girls, one only concerned about her phone in his car. I was also very disturbed by the fact NO ONE standing by even checked on or attempted to comfort this dying man (I have done such a thing on a busy freeway in Houston Texas.. it was right no matter the person dying)
Even the National Guard did nothing for this man in DC as though he wasn’t there.
I prayed over that poor man with my hand on my computer screen.
What is wrong with people?
I truly feel there are satanic forces influencing those without Christ.. I’ve given up on mankind. My faith in God, in Christ our Redeemer, has grown strong. My peace is there now.. prayers we can survive and teach the next generation to unplug from the deception of this world.

In their defence, it was pretty obvious given the angle of the head to the body that the poor man was gone and nothing could be done about it. However I do agree his body could have been treated with more respect and someone could have said a few prayers for his departing soul.
FTA: Anwar was eventually rushed to a hospital but could not be saved. He was ejected onto the sidewalk and sustained fatal injuries, including head trauma and broken bones.

It appears he was alive when he reached the hospital. There might not have been anything done to save him, but StandStill is correct when he said: “disturbed by the fact NO ONE standing by even checked on or attempted to comfort this dying man.”

I think we can add the Education system in this country (don’t send your children to public or private schools), the minimum wage law and lack of family worship of God in the home. Maybe not necessarily in that order.
The problem I have is not with a plea deal per se. In many instances a plea deal makes sense; for example, one might encourage the perps to cooperate and divulge to whom they are providing the stolen vehicle(s), such as a chop shop or purchaser of stolen vehicles. These perps are far too young to have been acting alone. Adults had to be helping them.
Obviously the problem with this particular plea deal is the outcome of no jail time.
These” girls” are stone cold sociopaths! They should be charged as adults, but that will never happen.
The only excuse I hear now is that a murder case takes too long and is too expensive. Because of Covid, these pansies have stopped all trials! “The backlog is too big, the murder case would take too long to get to”. Always excuses to do what’s right and just and hard to do! I’m sick of the excuses

This horrific incident just sent the message that this administration and their weaponized governmental (federal and state) agencies are going to administer justice based on political affiliation and race irrespective of the crimes committed or their severity. The silence from the left about this carjacking and fatal consequence including the behavior of the perpetrators is deafening. But, in the back of my mind my thoughts are that somewhere the Democrat leadership is slapping themselves on the back congratulating each other because they just got away with another one. Seems callous to think that way, but the reality is that diehard Democrats are just plain evil people and if advancing the agenda leaves a stack of bodies piled up, then so be it because that’s the price of accomplishing the goal.
