If they actually did their jobs they would have had this wrapped up no later than August 31st of 2020. They are actually breaking the law because gubt employees require 30 days notice when their jobs may be in jeopardy. That notification should have gone out no later than 1 Sep 2020.

COVID relief bill my ass. Should have been named the US Congress Relief Bill for anyone and everyone but the American Taxpayer and Small Business Owners.
President Trump should re issue an executive order to bring back line item veto.
May they should open an investigation on how much of this money will end up in family hands of those in Congress, State Department and other deep state operatives. Seems it is very important the oversea pork gets placed in these end of the year bills. Too many family members will be missing big pay days!

Maybe I have already said it on this thread but there is a group of billionaires who pledged to spend half of their fortunes before they die on philothanproc causes. They can whip out their checkbooks and write checks with no conditions whatsoever for all this pork and hand it directly to the governments or entities that were to receive this money from American Taxpayers. If there was ever a time for them to step up now is it.
So, let me get this straight. When we catch illegal aliens sneaking across the border, and arrest them to ship them back, do we hand each of them a check for $1,800 when we arrest them or when we deport them?
And if House and Senate both bump Americans’ payments up to $2k each, will PDJT sign the thing with just that change? If so I call “Humbug!” on the entire charade.

A friend and I were discussing this yesterday. She’s a COVID believer (I’m not) but is largely Republican. We both agreed we’ll probably end up using the checks, but would prefer to forgo $600 in order for the rest of it to be vetoed.

Monday night I was so angry I scared myself. I was angry at the three RINO congressmen from Minnesota, Pete Stauber, Tom Emmer and Jim Hagedorn, who all voted for the bill, instead having the fortitude to not only just say No, but to say HELL NO!
I went to bed and there were bumps, thumps, rattles and gurgles inside my chest I’d never felt before. Was pretty sure I was going to have a heart attack, and other than leaving my darling husband behind didn’t care if I did.
But then I realized I was focusing way too much on this world that will fade away, and I instead focused on the Lord, His goodness and control of all things, and went to sleep at peace.
I stayed away from the computer all day yesterday, and now have a few dozen beautifully decorated Christmas cookies instead.
The interesting thing for me was when my husband asked me late Monday night — when I was busting mad — if I would be just as angry at President Trump if he signed the bill. The question surprised me. I have loved and fought for Donald Trump since there were 17 GOP Presidential candidates, and have loved and fought for him every day since those days long ago. But I had to reconcile the idea of whether I’d be mad at the President if he signed that bill or if I’d let it go. . . because he has been the best President this country has ever known.
I told my husband I would definitely be mad at President Trump signed that bill.
This morning I asked my hubby what he was watching on his computer. He said, ‘President Trump isn’t going to sign the bill’ and told me a few of the fabulous things he’d said.
I could not be more proud of President Trump, more thankful for his willingness to stand-up against the entire swamp, against the entire uniparty, and tell everyone that the empress and all her worshippers have no clothes on.

The cov 19 bill is reported to have a clause in it that would prevent President Trump from declaring the Insurrection Act. He can veto it, but they can override the veto. The President needs to hear from the people on this and he needs to listen to Gen Flynn and Sidney Powell and act NOW to declare Insurrection Act. He might not be able to do this later. Time is running short for him to act. If anyone can get a message to him, then please do it now. May God guide and protect him.

Benefits to Americans totaled less than $200 billion, accounting for only 20% of the 900 billion budget, and not a single cent was given to local American restaurants and small businesses that were devastated by the epidemic lockdown.
The bill actually increased the salary of each member by $57,471, increased the salary of members of the House of Representatives by a third, and increased the salary of members of the Senate by a quarter. Perhaps this is why they signed the bill without reading its contents.
