Comrades, the Pennsylvania authorities have announced new COVID-19 compliance dictates to ensure full control during the holiday week. “Under the new order, bars and restaurants will not be permitted to sell beer and liquor between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday morning.” Welcome to selective COVID prohibition, because a virus…
Additionally, all schools must now restrict attendance and comply with “full remote learning.” It is all for your best interest citizen as explained by the command and governing authority: “Having someone in your home who does not live with you – not part of your household – even if they are part of your extended family, or your close friends, puts your entire household at risk.”
Be a good citizen and snitch on your neighbors.
Pennsylvania – officials are issuing new orders and advisories they are calling “additional safeguards” as they work to slow the spread of coronavirus across the state.
Gov. Tom Wolf made the announcement alongside Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine during a press conference on Monday afternoon.
[…] Schools that do not sign the form or fail to comply are required to provide only fully remote learning and suspend all extracurricular activities as long as the county remains in the substantial transmission level.
The Democratic governor also reissued orders intended to protect businesses, employees, and customers. The orders include reiterating cleaning and social distancing requirements, mandatory telework requirements unless impossible, and other safety measures. (read more)

One crazy thought for all of you who have loved ones in nursing homes…..if you are able..why not bust them out? Why not bring them home and care for them at homes so they can live their last few days with family?? I know it’s not possible for everyone but sheesh….if it was my dad or mom….I WOULD!!!!!!
Almshouses to Nursing Homes
https://rincondelrio.com/the-history-of-nursing-homes-from-almshouses-to-skilled-nursing/
“Before the nineteenth Century, old people who were incapacitated and/or broke lived in Almshouses… As the nineteenth century began to unwind, women and church groups began founding Homes for the Aged out of concern for worthy individuals of their own ethnic or religious background who might have to spend their last days alongside the most despised in society in an Almshouse…. By the 1920’s nearly 70% of all residents in Almshouses were the elderly poor…. In 1935 the Federal Government (for the first time) got involved…. Now that the Federal Government had come to the rescue of public housing for displaced old, helpless people, what could possibly go wrong? In shutting the almshouse door, policymakers gave birth to the modern nursing-home industry…. The passage of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965 provided significant impetus to the private-industry growth of nursing homes. In the 15 years between 1960 and 1975, the number of nursing homes in the United States increased 140%, nursing-home beds increased by 302%, and revenues rose 2,000%. By 1980, 80% of all institutionalized elderly resided in commercially run nursing homes…. By 2000, nursing homes had become a 100 billion dollar industry, paid largely by Medicaid, Medicare, and resident out-of-pocket resources. Although only 2% of all elderly individuals between 65 and 74 resided in such institutions, the proportion of those aged 84+ increased to 25%. Today, nearly 6% of older adults are sheltered in nursing homes that provide a wide range of care (see first blog of series). The problems still facing long-term, custodial care for older adults are clearly tied to its historical development…. Basically, in a word, GOVERNMENT is all that’s needed to understand nursing homes throughout the 1900’s. By mid-century, federally-funded financing (say that fast 3 times) became available creating a for-profit nursing home construction boom. Part of this was Federal efforts to channel payments to medical providers rather than directly reimburse recipients of the services. However, no matter how many homes were built, the demand would not subside.”

With COVID cases on the rise across the state, we must continue to unite against the spread. Together, when we make good choices and follow health and safety measures, we see results.
Yesterday Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine announced new efforts in the fight against the virus. Help us slow the spread and keep our family, friends, neighbors, and businesses safe.
Keeping Businesses, Customers, & Employees Safe
Businesses play a critical role in protecting workers, customers, suppliers, and the general public. Yesterday the Wolf Administration issued the Mitigation, Enforcement, and Immunity Order that consolidates previous business orders and includes reiterating cleaning and social distancing requirements, mandatory telework requirements, unless impossible, and other safety measures.
To help with enforcement of existing masking orders in businesses, those businesses that maintain in-person operations and are open to the public will receive immunity from civil liability only as it relates to the Secretary’s masking order given that individuals and entities are engaged in essential emergency services activities and disaster services activities when enforcing the order.
Events & Gatherings
To help slow the spread of COVID, businesses must reduce their indoor and outdoor capacity for events or gatherings. Those venues must determine their occupancy limit as defined by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Code and then apply the attendee calculator to determine how many attendees are permitted to attend the event or gathering. These new occupancy restrictions apply only to distinct events or gatherings, and not regular business operations such as restaurant service or retail shopping. An event or gathering is a temporary grouping of individuals for defined purposes, that takes place over a limited timeframe, such as hours or days.
Maximum Occupancy for indoor events:
Maximum Occupancy
Allowable Indoor Rate
0 – 2,000 people
10% of Maximum Occupancy
2,001 – 10,000 people
5% of Maximum Occupancy
Over 10,000 people
No events over 500 people
Maximum Occupancy for outdoor events:
Maximum Occupancy
Allowable Outdoor Rate
0 – 2,000 people
15% of Maximum Occupancy
2,001 – 10,000 people
10% of Maximum Occupancy
Over 10,000 people
5% of Maximum Capacity up to 2,500
With the upcoming holidays, gatherings are not advised to be held with guests that are not part of your immediate household. To learn more about holiday gathering safety tips, visit the pa.gov/COVID website.
Specifically, to address large holiday crowds, on Nov. 25, 2020 only, all sales or the dispensing of alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption at businesses in the retail food services industry, including bars, restaurants, and private catered events must end at 5PM. Read more about the Retail Food Services Mitigation Order.
Indoor dining may continue, and takeout is strongly encouraged.
Enforcement
Together, we can and will defeat the virus. We are in the fall resurgence of COVID and as Pennsylvanians, we must do everything we can to stop the spread.
Orders already in place and those announced yesterday are enforceable. Law enforcement and state agencies will be ramping their efforts with the issuing of citations and fines. Individuals and businesses who fail to comply with an order may be fined $25 – $300 dollars.
The following orders must be followed:
Out of state travel
Mask-wearing
Business safety, including telework, occupancy, cleaning, social distancing
Restaurant mitigation, including occupancy, masking, social distancing,
self-certification
Gathering limits
School attestation and mitigation
Individuals with concerns of possible COVID-19 health and safety violations in a workplace can submit a complaint to the PA Department of Health (DOH). Following a complaint, the DOH will send a warning letter to the business of potential consequences, including fines and closure if the business is not compliant with the current
mitigation orders.
Included in these efforts and the new enforcement order, local governments have now been granted the authority and guidance on enforcement of the various COVID-19 orders in place. Local leaders can implement their own orders, ordinances, or directives in order to protect health and safety as long as they are stricter than those mandated by the state.
Protect Your Community
COVID is tough, but together, Pennsylvanians are tougher. United, we can defeat the virus. You matter, and so do your actions.
Let’s work together to stop the spread. For more information about what you can do to protect yourself, your family, business, neighbors, and community from COVID, visit PA.GOV/COVID. My brother passed away on Nov. 5th. He was confined to his living room for the last 6 months of his life. He had no visitors and never got out. I would have liked to have said good by to him but that was not possible. He was cremated. No service can be held. My niece told me that they are hoping for a service this summer?? A very sad ending for this highly decorated AF pilot and great person. He was a patriot and would be appalled at the state of affairs our country has put itself in. Possibly it’s better this way……. I am very down about this entire situation. What are we doing to ourselves in the name of this virus???
So sorry to hear this news sir.
Prayers for you all in your family.
Ohhh my. 🙁 I’m so sorry for you. This is so wrong. Just terrible what they are doing to us because if it was any of our leaders’ family members this happened to, it would be very different,. The damn has got to break here….very soon. Donald Trump sacrificed his comfy life to take the “slings and arrows” and now it’s up to the people to take up the torch.
The following from Breitbart stating that ABC news is reporting a SUNY college will not allow students home for Thanksgiving unless they test negative… What will it take to stop the insanity?!
EXCERPT:
Tom Ciccotta24 Nov 2020749
140,000 students in the State University of New York (SUNY) system will be required to test negative for coronavirus before they leave campus for Thanksgiving break. Students will self-administer a saliva swab diagnostic test as part of the university’s efforts to mitigate the spread of the virus.
According to a report by ABC News, about 140,000 students enrolled in the SUNY system will be required to test negative for coronavirus before they are permitted to return home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
This is part of the continuing indoctrination and acclamation of students to socialism/communism. They train students to comply with ridiculous state orders and to help the state punish those who don’t. Many of these young people are incapable of thinking for themselves and so easily brainwashed. Sad.
Free beer! Come on out to the parking lot! See how many they can keep inside.
Meanwhile, heroine will still be done on the streets.
This is what I’ve never understood. I live in Canada and during Pierre Trudeau’s reign (for too many years), all the mental institutions were closed and the people were thrown out onto the main City streets. I never get an answer as to why.
That happened in the US also. It has created many displaced people, many are homeless that did not fit into there stats. You have to qualify, many were send to group homes, many out on the streets. Many of these people were victims of the drug companies, some former veterans, some druggies and alcoholics. Some born with mental disabilities. I suppose there families were responsible for some of it. They now have split it up, and have drug and alcohol rehab centers. There are just too many homeless everywhere, it is very sad when winter comes into the picture. The younger children, they try to educate. No child left behind. Not sure what happens to special needs kids, when they turn into adults. Maybe nursing homes take them. They probably need to work on this system more, and debug it, create more homeless shelters for them. Politicians generally take care of themselves, paying little attention to this very large problem. Trump has worked on creating more HUD housing, section 8 with Ben Carson, but still people in large cities suffer, with poor housing, rents are high and most people on SS can not afford to rent apartments, leaving many people homeless and out on the streets. Waiting list for low price housing are very long.
Thank you very much for your detailed reply. I agree in that it is a very large problem. Thing is, many of those with mental issues don’t even know there’s something wrong with themselves. Life to them is simply a matter of survival. It’s very sad.
You would have to wonder if people are assigned to them, for counciling and other basic needs. It is very sad. They could easily break these people down into groups, depending on there needs. People who are born with mental health issues being mixed with.druggies, wow its scary.
This is part of the plan….for the Democrats….erode the will of the people….stay focused and you can avoid the despair they want you to experience…
Did the re-assignment surgery move the brain into t(e ass by mistake?
