Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Ooh, ooh, ooh. Mr. Kotter…
I’ve been watching a couple interviews with Fr. Chad Ripperger, an exorcist, and his take on events and the influence of the demonic. The things he discusses should cause us to reflect. Do we believe demons are real? Can we believe in Christ and poo poo the reality of the demonic? And do we spend enough time in prayer and ask for protection from them? Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil.
(When I just so happened to see the comment count at zero, Horse Shack popped into my brain, and I couldn’t help myself. Please excuse me.)
I came to post for CURSDAY, and first stopped to see if Sundance had posted any new threads. He has, and it is vital that as sunlight pours in from his continuing exposure of malign forces which to this day still operate in the dark, dank sewers of DC, Treepers here who might miss it be apprised of it.
There is no other explanation for the otherwise inexplicable that we are witnessing today, Charles. Everywhere.
Yes, there are demons, dear sir.
Yes, please Dearest Lord, deliver us from evil.
Four hours.

Hire Kenda Lenseigne, shown in the video below, as the “shooting and holstering your weapon” instructor for your lady secret service agents. If you still have any DEI agents hanging around after Butler.
10 accurate shots in less than 11 seconds on a galloping / turning horse …. that included using two pistols, requiring holstering and drawing within the 11 seconds.
That lady can ride and shoot, for sure!

Morning, Garrison 💕 Guess what time it is almost? God bless our four footed, tail wagging friends. Fortunate are those who have known their devotion….
Not yet, but soon 😊☕
My favourite this week because there is a priceless lesson in it 💕

Was thinking the exact same thing, Bet love. Coming in from my study, I just opened the kitchen door and . . . Little ‘Tink demanded to go outside. That said, who am I to argue with the house (and me) watch-kitty. Happily, she’s content to stay in “her” yard.
We have a friendly racoon (really!!!) who visits with ‘Tink and is almost tame. He’s almost completely comfortable around us. I’ve found some oral rabies vaccination chewies for dogs that I’m going to leave out for the little guy. He doesn’t hurt anything, really, and pretty much defies the usual fearful racoon stories. He doesn’t really live here, although he does like to visit with ‘Tink from time to time. . . . I don’t have the heart to have him captured and killed.
I posted a wonderful video of Vera Lynn, singing her famous WWII songs. Just finished watching a couple of BBC and UK documentaries on her life. She was really somethin’ . . . I’m a history buff so finding these videos about her was great. Think I’ll turn in in a few . . . Buestelo later in the morn’. Be well, dear friend.

William Shakespeare
(1564-1616)
English poet and playwright (Romeo and Juliet; Macbeth: Hamlet), dies at about 52
Biography: William Shakespeare is often named the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s greatest dramatist. His extant works consist of about 38 plays, 154 sonnets and additional poems.
His plays have been translated into every major living language and have been performed more often than any other playwright.
Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon in England in 1564, the third of eight children to a prominent businessman and official. At 18 he married Anne Hathaway, probably in some hurry, their first child a daughter Susanna was born 6 months later.
It wasn’t until 1592 that Shakespeare is recorded established in London as a founder member of the theatre company The Lord Chamberlain’s Men. From the 1603 the company came under the patronage of King James I as The King’s Men with the Globe as their theatre, which they had constructed in 1599.
It is during this time that Shakespeare wrote his most famous plays, tragedies such as “Macbeth” and “King Lear” and comedies and romances including “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Romeo and Juliet”.
After Shakespeare’s death in 1616 two of his fellow players published a collection of 36 of his plays in 1623 in the “First Folio” preserving Shakespeare’s works and ensuring his legacy.
Note, Shakespeare was baptized on April 26 and this is traditionally regarded as his birthdate, although the exact date is uncertain.
