Looting and Riots Overwhelm Philadelphia Police – Aftermath of Walter Wallace Shooting…

Two Philadelphia police officers are under scrutiny after they refused to allow 27-year-old Walter Wallace stab them in a violent frenzy.   After retreating from the confrontation; and after being chased by Mr. Wallace; the officers eventually shot and killed the attacker.

Black Lives Matter and the Philadelphia social justice network immediately activated to steal electronics, loot retail stores and start fires in a quest to achieve justice for Wallace.  The police are overwhelmed and the looting continues across the city of brotherly love while the media calls their behavior “protesting”.   Nothing solves violence like a brand new pair of looted Nikes.  Yes, stop me if you have heard this bef…

[…] The office of Gov. Tom Wolf said earlier Tuesday that several hundred National Guard personnel were being deployed in the city “to protect the right to peacefully assemble and protest while keeping people safe.” The decision was made at the request of Philadelphia County, his office said. Holy shit!

Nothing Holy about it. Just more of the same s**t.

      • adam says:

Philly’s been a lost cause for some time and now it’s just becoming the new Baltimore.

        • GB Bari says:

That’s a dubious “achievement” if there ever was one.

          • Remember when the NBA stole a team from the owner; the NFL stole a team from an owner; The NBA moved an all-star game because they thought not letting men in the girls’ room was discrimination?

Both leagues should remove their teams from these unlawful cities based on player and community safety. PDJT should go directly to the players’ unions with his concerns for their safety.

    • john says:

Just rescue the Liberty Bell and nuke the rest of the place.

    • moe2004:
These events are thought out and planned by Alinskyites: just so happens that budget cuts did not permit officers to have tasers; just so happens that suspect is mentally ill; just so happens that police were drawn to an event in the intersection and ran toward it when a pick-up came from nowhere, but properly timed, to plow into them; also just so happens that it’s exactly one week before a general election in a must-state for Biden and where Trump has overtaken him.

      • Workwithus says:

I don’t believe in coincidences.Isn’t it a coincidence that the dems needed something like this to happen in Philly to try and fire up their base? Especially after Obama couldn’t get it done the old fashion way(campaigning). The dems had to lite the torch.Look for more of these events before the election in key dem cities.

And the media is all too happy to run out and cover it. Sickening.

  6. auscitizenmom says:

But, I am assuming they were peacefully shot and assaulted. And, all the looting was done peacefully.

  7. booger71 says:

And tonight Tick Tock Hannity questions the police use of force policy. I knew Jerry Rivers would cause he always does when a person of color gets shot by the police

I played the take a drink game when “x” is said or mentioned during the Hannity radio show one time. I picked “martial arts training.” I was fricking plastered less than one hour in. Definitely gave day drinking a bad rap.

  8. zephyrbreeze says:

Life is cheap to the left, and to criminals.
It’s sickening to see a human being killed.
The officers didn’t have to battle him with a sword, or jujitsu, but with firearms, thank God.
    Was this suicide by cop?
Was he on drugs and just enraged?
Thankfully we have officers willing to do this work, only because they can defend themselves.
We all remember the slaughter that happened to the unarmed officer in the UK.

What is the essence of evil? Laziness according to Dr. M. Scott Peck who wrote, People of the Lie, about the nature of evil. Lazy people don’t want to do the hard work of understanding a domestic relationship, so the person uses force instead of love. A criminal has no empathy for his victims or for the police trying to do their jobs. Laziness makes their only interest, themselves.

    • Zephyrbreeze says:

Dr. M. Scott Peck, psychiatrist, author of
People of the Lie: Hope for Healing Human Evil

“There really are people and institutions made up of people, who respond with hatred in the presence of goodness and would destroy the good insofar as it is in their power to do so. They do this not with conscious malice but blindly, lacking awareness of their own evil — indeed, seeking to avoid any such awareness. As has been described of the devil in religious literature, they hate the light and instinctively will do anything to avoid it, including attempting to extinguish it. They will destroy the light in their own children and in all other beings subject to their power.

“Evil people hate the light because it reveals themselves to themselves. They hate goodness because it reveals their badness; they hate love because it reveals their laziness. They will destroy the light, the goodness, the love in order to avoid the pain of such self-awareness. My second conclusion, then, is that evil is laziness carried to its ultimate, extraordinary extreme. As I have defined it, love is the antithesis of laziness. Ordinary laziness is a passive failure to love. Some ordinarily lazy people may not lift a finger to extend themselves unless they are compelled to do so. Their being is a manifestation of nonlove; still, they are not evil.

“Truly evil people, on the other hand, actively rather than passively avoid extending themselves. They will take any action in their power to protect their own laziness, to preserve the integrity of their sick self. Rather than nurturing others, they will actually destroy others in this cause. If necessary, they will even kill to escape the pain of their own spiritual growth. As the integrity of their sick self is threatened by the spiritual health of those around them, they will seek by all manner of means to crush and demolish the spiritual health that may exist near them.

“I define evil, then, as the exercise of political power — that is, the imposition of one’s will upon others by overt or covert coercion — in order to avoid extending one’s self for the purpose of nurturing spiritual growth.

Ordinary laziness is nonlove; evil is antilove.”

      M. Scott Peck Psychiatrist & author

      • livefreeordieguy says:

Thanks, Z… It’s a great book as is Peck’s The Road Less Traveled…. The People of the Lie is the book to read when you ask: “how can people (from rioters to Democrat politicians to George Soros) who have been given the gift of being American come to despise America and their fellow Americans so deeply as to want to destroy them and the country?”… The book makes some sense out of the senseless…

        • Rhi316 says:

          This makes more sense re the insanity and delusion going on;

          2 Thessalonians 2

“7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“

          • Dutchman says:

Peck was a psychologist or psychiatrist,…he TOUCHED on the spiritual aspect of evil, but he’s still trying to quantify it and qualify it.

Still trying to “Science” it. He has obviously LOOKED evil in the face (based on his writing) but his attempts to ‘science’ it get in the way of his seeing the truth.

Psychology, psychiatry and pharmocology have not come up with any effective treatment or cure for a number of mental health maladies; addiction, pedophilia and sociopaths, for example.

And its highly doubtful they ever will, because these are NOT maladies of the mind, they are maladies of the SOUL.

          • Francesca says:

Yes. Thank you. The battle is spiritual.

          • Dekester says:

            Cheers Dutchman,

            That was a terrific post.

Like many others I have witnessed pure evil, and it affected me greatly .

An individual I greatly respected suggested that only a spiritual solution can combat evil and that psychotics and they like are to be avoided.

They can never be reconciled with, and that is the great dilemma at the present.

Some on the “ Right” of the political spectrum are unable or unwilling to call what’s going on as evil.

Like “ Judge” Sullivan’s treatment of General Flynn

          • Francesca says:

“God shall send them a strong delusion.”
            Exactly where we are.

    • prtomr says:

zephyrbreeze, I can only imagine a defenseless person approaching Mr. Wallace and trying to convince him to put down his knife, especially after watching the video of his demise. Mr. Wallace went around a vehicle to go after the police officers, aggressively, I might add. All the while the officers were commanding him to put down his knife.

Suicide by cop some might say. I doubt it. A sane man does not take a knife to a gunfight. Those two young police officers will now be excoriated for doing what they were trained to do.

A question I have is why were the police sent on a call when an ambulance and EMTs were requested?

One commenter said he voted for Biden because he likes Biden, but hates Biden’s policies……..he likes President Trump’s policies but hates President Trump. They believe that Biden will stop the rioting, looting, racism etc. Let that logic sink in. The other useful idiots agreed with the commenter.

    • Julia Adams says:

I would like to argue the opposing point of view. I am not so sure this helps put more people on the Trump train, at least in West and North Philadelphia. I think it’s designed to get the vote out. Obama was just there this past week talking to community organizers. The pattern is full of agitation at the same time Biden’s lead is dropping.

How is that looters and rioters are activated on demand faster than ordering up a movie on Netflix? The looters are gettin’ while the gettin’ is good and in exchange for not getting arrested and the Soros DA in Philly not pressing any charges, the looters are expected (told) to go vote for Biden. The graft and fix are in.

      • mike says:

Trump is polling 20% in Philadelphia when Romney got zero %, and Trump previously got like 5% in ’16. DEMs are in serious panic mode and organized violence is one of their favorite tools.

I read a religious internet site that is Stalinist Dem. One commenter said he voted for Biden even though he doesn’t like Biden’s policies, he likes Biden……he likes Trump’s policies but doesn’t like President Trump…….let that logic sink in.

      Nothing new under the sun.

Research the Bolshevik Revolution. Lenin and Trotsky marginalized the Police and compromised the Generals. When it came time, the police scattered, the military stood aside and the coup was bloodless. Lenin described it as being as easy as lifting a feather. Realize that this was soon after the communists had garnered only 23% of the vote in a free election.

One thing the American neo Bolsheviks have to contend with that they didnt in 1917 Russia, is the American Patriot is armed to the teeth and pissed with an extremely popular President Trump leading the way to the light. The internet has made the knowledge of their criminality and depravity wide spread and their plans known to the majority of the populace. And the American Patriot has a unique way of taking matters into our own hands.

It may get ugly but We Got This. Keep your powder dry. When its time to take out the trash you will know it.

  17. Leon Brozyna says:

None too bright these BLM thugs, rioting a week before the election.

I live right next to a navy air station, and we have one of the highest conceal carry permit rates per capita in the state. Amazingly, there are never any riots here. 😉

      • adam says:

Folks seem to point to the 2nd Amendment as a defense against unjust governance, which it obviously is, but these riots are great illustrations that the 2nd A has broader applications.

Honestly, a government that allows violent lawlessness might be arguably described as “unjust.” Just sayin’.

        • Bill Donohue says:

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what they are going to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.”

          • adam says:

            Nice quote!

I’d add that Thomas Jefferson expressed significant concern for the risk of Tyranny of the Majority. Too few people are even aware of the concept and are all too happy for “their way” to be the authoritarian solution with little or no regard for anyone else’s opinion. Both sides are quite guilty of this.

          • Super Elite says:

Caleb and Joshua brought back the minority report of a goodly land of promise. The other ten spies brought back the majority report which was only fear mongering. The majority report caused 40-years of wandering in the desert of sin. Oh and by the way, only Caleb and Joshua ever made it to the Promised Land.

          • jinmichigan says:

In the Patriot, Mel Gibsons character asks at the SC convention on raising a levy, “Why should I trade one tyrant 3000 miles away, for 3000 tyrants one mile away?”

This was an extremely popular movie at the time, so Id say there is a great chunk of the population who are well aware of the concept of ‘the tyranny of the majority’.

Even Seth Macfarlane touched on this in an episode of “The Orville” where Justice was meted out by an upvote or downvote by the general population of an alien world.

Americans have an innate fear of ‘the tyranny of the majority”. Dont sell Patriots short.

      • daylight58 says:

Although we have a US Army and Air Force Joint Base in Anchorage, and I’m certain that those guys/gals have a significant rate of gun ownership, you’ll notice the distinct lack of _LM-type rioting here in Alaska.

Let’s face it, I – for instance – am a statistical outlier in terms of the lack of the number of weapons owned by a unaccompanied female civilian here… with “only” four long guns (two large caliber game rifles and two more ‘esoteric’ rifles), a shotgun, and two large caliber sidearms.

Several years ago, during a multi-week emergency planning simulation (a scenario involving another 1964-level Earthquake) someone asked the local police chief if he believed that dealing with store looting was a likely significant problem in the response to a major natural catastrophe.

He responded “No…” and went on to add “… we believe that [this being Alaska] the business owners are well-equipped (ahem) to deal with any looters.”

    • TreeClimber says:

They already bussed ’em in to Charleston SC. Pissed off a lot of natives. Might be some counter-riots if it happens again – they targeted (heh) an almost-ghetto, hard Democrat area before… don’t think those residents would look kindly on round two, and they’re exactly the types of use the same methods right back. Not to mention residents of the surrounding cities who take pride in being from Charleston who got real ticked off…

  19. MACAULAY says:

Democrats think a good looting in Philadelphia…TV and Sneakers, and anything in a Drug Store or Walmart—is just Reparations.

More like “Systemic Looting” ….Blacks being Black…..Never let a recently restocked store go to waste…..”I never looted a Walmart I didn’t like” … LOL

From what I’ve seen so far they are being quite courteous about their criminal activities. They hold the doors open for “fellow shoppers”, they steal only that which can be effectively handled in bulk quantity, & they only steal what they can carry.

If it looks like Police might be arriving they scurry like the roaches they are ( with even the fattest of woman moving with lightening speed) & they still manage to hang on to whatever they already stole…They have it down to a science.

        • JCM800 says:

          Black Mob Violence and Mayhem.
It will continue until they are stopped.

        • Le Blurr says:

Looters are so lazy, I saw a video of one looter, stealing the loot, off another looter, that he had just looted. That’s a lot of looting right there.

  24. Magabear says:

And predictably, Herr Wolf wraps himself up in BLM virtue signaling. I can’t use the words here to express how much I despise that despotic little dictator POS!

The only positive is that this latest round of leftist violence will almost surely put PA in the PDJT column come next Tuesday. People have had enough of this thuggery.

    • warrprin1 says:

Thanks for your post Magabear. I’m posting Wolf’s exact words here below. Take this in, Everyone. Your flesh will crawl from the implications of his words. Wolf listens to no one except Party operatives.

Wolf has trashed our U.S. and Pennsylvania Constitutions, and shows no sign of relinquishing the power he seized in mid-March. The PA Supreme Court validates his dictates, so we have two Branches of our state government colluding to destroy the Rights of all Pennsylvanians. There must be $$$ changing hands and promises dangling like carrots.

Our General Assembly is making a fool of itself with Democrats refusing to stand on the line when it counts – to override Wolf’s never ending vetoes of legislation passed successfully in both Chambers. Then the Republicans flail away – and the General Assembly fails to accomplish anything that will bring relief to the great unwashed. Now, here come the thugs again to terrorize Philadelphia, just in time for the Election. Remember, there was election fraud, since proven, involved in both elections when this tyrant ran for Governor.

Look at the reason for which Wolf has called out the National Guard, as he said today::
[…] The office of Gov. Tom Wolf said earlier Tuesday that several hundred National Guard personnel were being deployed in the city “to protect the right to peacefully assemble and protest while keeping people safe.” The decision was made at the request of Philadelphia County, his office said.

  25. So if these riots are organized by the anti-Trump evil doers like many of the others, they will scare the electorate out of in person voting. Those votes would have gone toward Dims. Also these riots will piss off the rest of the area/state’s electorate.

Another Gov who should be recalled/voted out of office.

    • jrapdx says:

Yup, the voters who would be scared to vote are those in proximity to the violence. Of course the deluded white “liberals” who swallow media stupidity whole will blame the President for the disaster befalling Philadelphia, it is always his fault. But it seems in this case you’re right, the loathsome Pennsylvania governor should be forced out, along with his likenesses in California, New York and Michigan. There are others to be sure but those would be a good start.

  26. CoHoBo says:

At least the work boot and father’s day card aisles are safe.

  27. gunrunner03 says:

Practice run for Nov 4, I’m sure.

    • Sentient says:

For real. The governors better have the National Guard ready the day after Re-Election Day.

      • BuckeyeMom says:

Honestly, I don’t know if anyone can depend on the Governors. It’s prudent to take responsibility to provide protection for your homes.

        • LafnH20 says:

The office of Gov. Tom Wolf said earlier Tuesday that several hundred National Guard personnel were being deployed in the city “to protect the right to peacefully assemble and protest while keeping people safe.”

Doesn’t matter if Govenors deploy 100,000 National Guard if what we see happening is defined by the Govenor as “Peaceful Assembly”.

Are the People reported dead and injured…Safe?

          • nimrodman says:

            rules of engagement are everything
especially when they say “stand down” and “do not intercede”

      • warrprin1 says:

It won’t do any good, Sentient, if the Governors order the Nat Guard troops to protect the demonstrators, and no one or nothing else. This one just gave blanket permission to the rioters / looters to carry on, because the National Guard troops, by order of “Governor” Wolf, have been ordered into place to protect those who are committing the crimes. This is the Soros playbook.

    • I’m sure PDJT has a plan that involves federal agents arresting many on federal charges. On Nov. 5 there will be an announcement of thousands of arrests and cases that track the money that paid for it.

  28. Bone Fish says:

Is this our first suicide by cop resulting in riots?

    • starfcker says:

      Trump just one Pennsylvania again.

    • keeler says:

No. Perhaps not a “true” suicide-by-cop, but same outcome(s).

“Minneapolis police released surveillance video of a murder suspect committing suicide Wednesday — to dispel widespread rumors that cops killed the man.

The false reports of a police-involved shooting sparked a violent night of looting and vandalism across the city.”

Along the same lines, I expect the number of hanging suicides by minorities in public spaces will increase, since such suicides now garner national media attention and trigger protests. There have been a couple in the last few months which have such received national coverage and reaction, and while I won’t speculate on individual motives for committing suicide I believe the potential of a “national” reaction must have an influence on suicidal people which is greater than zero. Such people may not be killing themselves as a political act, but that does not mean political narratives are channeling the direction of their actions.

  29. Walt says:

I’ll bet the developers that pose as “redevelopment agencies” are in the middle of orgasmia when they see hundreds burning and looting.

Already thinking about how much $$$ they’re going to make rebuilding the middle rent businesses as high end with over priced match box sized condo’s next door.

And after they rebuild it (with taxpayer money of course), they’ll be happy to supply the gasoline for the next mob so they can do it again.

  30. Antisocialists says:

Obama, 2008, in a speech given in Philadelphia: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”

    • 28angelica28 says:

It would appear that these rioters/looters not only brought knives and guns but they’re using trucks as well. Obammy and Hidin’ are rolling out the “there aren’t red states and blue states but the United States” line again. Once again, deflect from what they mean. They don’t want united, they want subservient.

  31. swampfox999 says:

    Biden voters just gotta loot.

  32. KBR says:

More than 40 years ago a guy I knew from Philadelphia called it Filthydelphia.
    Guess he was right.

  33. AndrewJackson says:

Everything happens for a reason. I think this has put the cold anger of many PA voters from a 10 to an 11. Perhaps a thundering electoral defeat will be the perfect medicine to allowing riots in your city.

  38. tuskyou says:

Is this the start of dark winter? Didn’t POTUS say “we’re watching Philly” for voter fraud at one of yesterday’s rallies? Then riots started. The video clearly shows police backing up (and not just a few steps). Just a few years ago I had a 10 hour layover and saw the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall, etc. So sad.

    • AndrewJackson says:

I don’t see how this helps the dems cause (this is the sort of stuff that could flip a hardcore liberal), unless they are planning to try to delay voting in Philly for a week while they get the estimates needed to defeat the Red Wave.

My hunch is that’s not gonna happen this time. The Republicans are insisting on a “regular” election, no delays, riots are a self-inflicted wound. Set up voting booths in the ashes if necessary, they blew their opportunity for more soothing options.

I don’t see it helping dems, either.
But then, the same people pursueing this current strategy, previously came up with so many losing schemes,…..

Can’t even list them all, any more but you know. Nothing HAS “worked”, and nothing they do WILL “work”.

Whether these lame attempts at voter suppression, or the broader plan of ballot fraud, this won’t work any better than muh russia, ukraine shampeachment, kavanaugh debacle, etc.

Each time, it boomerangs back on them, causing more to red pill and see the light.

Sucks to be them, but thats what happens when you align with Satan.

  39. Sentient says:

Hopefully libs in suburban Philly are slightly less stupid than the white libs here in Minneapolis who actually believe the BS that the Antifas burning the city were right-wingers. Libs here are so stupid and “open minded” that if they were being mugged at gunpoint and the mugger dropped his gun, they’d pick it up and give it back to the bad guy so he could finish robbing (and maybe murdering) them. Wake up, you leftist imbeciles!

    • jrapdx says:

Dunno, wouldn’t count on it, Philly libs are unlikely to be that much smarter than anywhere else they wouldn’t be “libs”.

    • carterzest says:

Have a couple old friends from PDX that for the past 4 years have blamed all PDX BS on the Alt Right. Every time….Amazing their ignorance even when presented vetted facts from trusted sources. Truly, they must “pretend not to know certain things” to keep the bloom on their ruse.

Anyway, loving living our best life in Idaho now having escaped the Peoples Republic of Portland. Still sad seeing it circle the drain….

Nothing says “justice” for Walter like looting a Walmart store.
    “Justice” night #2 ongoing now.

    • jrapdx says:

Well, the “protests” have been going here in Portland OR for months already, of course most of the people are sick and tired of it. The mayor mainly twiddles his thumbs, or does something unproductive with hands, while the nonsense repeats like Groundhog Day during a bad drug experience. Intervention by federal cops protecting federal property has helped some. I predict Philly could be in for a long siege unless officials get the National Guard involved. The stupid Pa governor may be too stupid to do that.

    • LOL says:

Walmart just closes up and goes away when that happens.
That happened a couple towns over.
Now the people don’t have a Walmart except 20 miles away.

      • A Fortified City says:

Thank you Walmart for coming 20 years ago shuttering all the mom and pop hardware stores, closing down all the smaller grocery chains, meat markets, etc, etc. Walmart don’t care about communities like family owned businesses.

  42. James Street says:

Riots still continue in the Seattle area and are coordinated by the rioters, police and government. Last Saturday in Bellevue a mob blocked streets and spray painted the streets. During the event the Bellevue police chief banned anyone from having a weapon in the area. When it was over he tweeted “The crowd has dispersed and we are thankful for a peaceful event. Have a good night everyone.” Blocking traffic and defacing public property is now defined “peaceful”. Also per the Constitution we have the right to arm ourselves, but not riot. But not according to the government.

It’s is unfortunate that a person was shot and killed. RIP. Hard to divine what this human
thought was going to happen to happen to him by his actions.
Been a resident of PA most of my life. Lived on the west coast of PA in a large city. Oh how the big cities love the Dems. I was once one.
But Wolfe has been an insufferable failure this past year. Oh sure, he can’t do anything because his legislative house are run by the mighty Republicans. Cry me a river.
He’s about as bad to AWFUL as Cuomo has been re NY. Would love to see their call logs and text messages to each other re sending “COVID” patients into nursing homes. Actually, someone should supeona Wolfe’s cell phone. Public information Guvn’r. Just like our’s is with the NSA.
If Wolfe tries to defund the police in PA re this incident in Philly he should be impeached. Period. Not to diss a Willow tree but this “Governor” has to stop swaying in the breeze and maybe get a forking SPINE already.
Wolfe decreed his family business re furniture making was an “essential business” that was allowed to stay open. My Gawd. Talk about lawlessness.
Wolfe doesn’t run the police in PA and better not try start trying to. That would be the Andy Griffith show. And he would be Barney Fife.

    • warrprin1 says:

Respectfully disagree with your assessment of Wolf and of the PA General Assembly.

Wolf has accomplished exactly what he intended. He has the PA Supreme Court in his back pocket. There are not large enough Republican majorities in the General Assembly to override Wolf’s never-ending vetoes.

      The PA SC is corrupted.
The Legislature, aka the PA General Assembly, has allowed itself to be neutered.
The Governor, often peeking out from under the skirts of “Dr. R. Levine” and the PA Dept. of Health mandates, has gotten everything he could have hoped to claim as achievement.

I agree. We need the records, but how much would you like to wager that the phones will have been wiped by the time Wolf leaves Office in 2022?

    I don’t really get it.

Riots in Dem areas, no riots in Conservative areas.

Ergo, lots of conservatives out voting, no voting in Dem areas because even the mail will be held up.

SCOTUS is ruling- more and more- that ballots after Nov 3 are no good.
