I was watching some talk about the things that shaped Lincoln and one aspect was a lynching in Vicksburg in the late 1830s. As an aside, the speaker said that lynching was the origin of the term Kangaroo court. It had to do with a brothel and red light district called Kangaroo.
I asked my web browser and got an AI answer that the term appeared in the late 1850s in a book, saying it was about claim jumping in California’s Gold Rush with a lot of argumentation why the term wasn’t from Australia.
So I asked about the Vicksburg origin, it said it knew about the claims, the presence of a red light district called Kangaroo was right, but there was no proof of the term being used, but the term was in a newspaper, near 1840 in some newspaper in Louisiana.
So it knew that it was in a book decades after it was in a newspaper, but gave the false book answer first.
It also knows many other claims to the source, one even earlier than the Newspaper. But argues them down
AI is the know-it-all that knows it is wrong but will always make itself sound right.
More accurately, you will get different answers depending on how you ask the question. Whatever it says it will say it as if it is absolutely the truth. Despite having access to other answers that prove the answer it gave you was false.
AI knows everything. But AI knows nothing. It just bullshits answers.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.

He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 95 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

We’re approaching the November elections. So now might be a good time to affect the policies of our local and national politicians, because the politicians want to please the voters before the elections.
I got an email that invited me to a meet-the-candidate meeting, for someone who wanted to be my national congressional representative. I replied that I didn’t know if I could attend the meeting, but listed some ways that I hoped the candidate would vote, if he were elected to congress.
The list of my preferences included
– voting for the SAVE Act, if it didn’t pass this year, and
– voting for a law that required that the US government pay back half a trillion dollars of the national debt each year, starting in 2030. (That is, congress takes in in $0.5T more each year than they spend, starting in 2030.)
I hope that since the November election is a few months away, the candidates are more interested than usual in what we voters want. So now might be a good time to tell them what we want, and to ask for a reply from them.

This is Primary Season with a list of candidates that mostly say what the voters want, then it gets down and dirty mud slinging. It’s hard to really know what’s in their head and hearts.
With a lot of effort and digging one might be able to determine who the best candidate is and they get elected.
Then they get to Congress and the donors and Establishment gets their attention. That’s when you know.
Once they are elected they are elected then, as we have seen in so many cases, accountability to the voters goes out the window.

If you’d told me a few years ago this is where we’d be on Iran, I’d have said you were high:
1. Nuke program set back years. Enrichment and reprocessing gutted, weaponization sites destroyed, Fordow inoperable, Natanz in ruins, a generation of senior nuclear scientists eliminated.
2. Ballistic missile program crippled. Monthly production down from 100 to near zero. Roughly half the regime’s missiles and launchers destroyed. The IRGC Aerospace Force commander who ran the missile enterprise dead.
3. Air defenses devastated. American and Israeli airpower dominating Iranian skies, with strike aircraft operating over the country with near impunity.
4. Full economic warfare. Not just OFAC sanctions anymore, but military pressure layered on top: naval blockade, near-zero oil exports, choked imports, wrecked steel and petrochemical sectors, triple-digit inflation, and a currency that is effectively worthless.
5. Regime decapitation. Khamenei dead. Larijani dead. Hundreds of senior IRGC, intelligence, military, and Basij commanders dead including the IRGC commander-in-chief, the armed forces chief of staff, and the Aerospace Force commander. Mojtaba Khamenei inheriting a hollowed-out regime with no supreme authority and a gutted command structure.
6. The region turning on Tehran. Gulf states shutting down the sanctions-busting, money-laundering, and financial escape routes the regime has relied on for years. No Arab capital willing to throw Iran a lifeline. China and Russia providing limited support.
7. Proxy network shattered. Hezbollah and Hamas heavily degraded. Houthi political leadership taking direct Israeli strikes. The “Axis of Resistance” and “ring of fire” are now more slogans than real threats.
8. Syrian corridor severed. Assad is gone. The new government in Damascus is actively blocking Iranian arms transfers to Hezbollah: arresting smugglers and publicly declaring Syria will no longer serve as a transit corridor for Tehran’s terrorists. The land bridge to the Mediterranean that took decades to build is effectively closed.
9. Lebanon pivoting west. With Hezbollah battered and resupply choked, Israel and Lebanon have opened direct peace talks for the first time since 1983, aimed at a permanent agreement and Hezbollah’s disarmament.
Beirut now asserting that the Lebanese armed forces alone are responsible for national defense. This is a direct repudiation of Hezbollah’s “resistance” claim. TBD.
10. Deterrence exposed as a bluff. Four direct attacks on Israel — April 2024, October 2024, June 2025, March 2026 — failed to impose strategic cost and instead triggered heavy retaliation.
Iran couldn’t even use Syria as a launchpad.
11.Economy hollowed out from within. Power shortages, water crises, factory shutdowns, pension unrest, and mass protests. A short while back, I saw a long list published by Dan Scavino of social media influencers that he felt were not trustworthy to be supportive of President Trump and MAGA. Most of these were considered to be conservative and thought to be generally supportive, but many of them had cited differences with President Trump’s policy.
Among that list, I saw the name, Liz Wheeler. I haven’t followed Liz since she left OANN a couple years back, but I always felt that she was one of the most MAGA-loyal and consistent social media reporters that I had listened to. So her inclusion on that “bad influencers” list was somewhat questionable for me.
Be that as it may, I believe this particular YouTube video of Liz Wheeler reporting on the attempted color revolution in America and specifically it’s targeting of Pete Hegseth (in order to try to get him removed) is well done.

As Liz explains, the person owning that account on x.com has done a very well-researched job of sighting who is behind the attempt the subvert, Pete Hegseth’s appointment and the attempt to instruct military members to ignore supposedly illegal orders.
