    • You know what? When I see President Trump on stage at a rally, I smile. There is just something so special about this person God has put on earth for this time in history. I love his hard-working attitude, love of our wondeful country, honoring of Veterans (I am one :),economic common sense, experience in the working world, love of family and so much more. I smile because he loves what he’s doing- standing there talking to people who genuinely appreciate him as a person. He doesn’t talk down to us. One of the qualities I’ve observed in him is he’s the type of leader that sees more in people than they see in themselves and he sees their potential. Those types of leaders come once in a life time. We are blessed.

I know what you mean. I can’t help but smile every time he comes out on the stage or comes out to the podium for a WH speech. I don’t even try to smile or even think I’m going to smile. It’s almost like a magnetic force on my face!

Not necessarily. After his win in 2016 he did some “Thank You Tour” rallies in 2017. I went to one in West Allis, WI in the dead of winter. Christmas decorations behind him on stage and he had some local politicians speak. Best part: Paul Ryan spoke and was spontaneously booed by the crowd. Trump looked a little surprised by it. They did not like Ryan.

Ok, ok, slightly off topic but not really because it’s election related.

So, I’m in upstate NY (Cortland to be exact) because my son will be playing la rose and going to school here. I’m in a motel with him and my wife. A commercial came on (about 6 -8 times now) while watching the UGA vs UA game. The commercial is for the Democrat for Senate or House….

Can’t remember name, black hair, glasses, looks like a fat Maddow. She literally says “I support Biden. I was the first he endorsed..blah blah blah…”

The kicker- her commercial says she and joe will be fighting to cut our taxes cuz Trump and his corporate interests took our money. And raised them.

The commercial says this..she literally stares at camera and says Joe and I will lower your taxes.

Well…I guess she missed as did her commercial team Joe Biden during his town hall just a few days ago saying he will raise taxes first day in office. Hmmmm

Nothing but Biden ads here in upstate NY. So many more than where I live in CT. Biden and Dems….I’ve seen 3 Biden ads and 5 for the fat Maddow looking Dem during game. Not one for Trump.

Trump has upstate NY locked. That’s apparent.

The ads thing is interesting. Biden apparently is flooding the market with TV commercials. From what other Treepers are saying, coupled with headlines I’m seeing, Trump is doing less commercials and Biden is doing more. That means one of two things: 1.) Trump is doing so well he doesn’t need to waste the money, while Biden is pouring money into them in a desperate attempt to get ahead, or 2.) Trump sees they aren’t working so he’s pulling out to spend the money elsewhere, while they are working for Biden so they are worthwhile to put forth even more.

Given everything else that Biden’s campaign does and the general feeling of shrieking panic that they give off, I’m guessing it’s option #1 above. Then again I’m heavily biased so I can’t completely rule out option #2.

Does anyone remember what the Trump team did in 2016? If I remember correctly, they slowed down and even stopped their ads in states he won in the 1-3 weeks before the election…in hindsight he obviously knew he was going to win them. But again, I’m biased!

RWG, I think it is interesting that Biden feels the need to pour money into adds in NY! I mean, when was the last time NY went Republican? Trump might have written off NY (thus not doing ads) – but that doesn’t jibe with Biden doing a ton of adds yet in it. So strange. But if anybody could lose NY for the Dems it would be Cuomo and DeBlasio; that would be a giant LOL if they cause Biden to lose NY!

I just looked up a neat article from 2016 which shows the ad spending for both candidates as of 10/21/16 in an interactive graph. Mostly it was talking about how weird it is that Trump is spending hardly anything on ads. I wish I could link it, but every time I post URLs in my comments, my comment just disappears.

But to your point, it looks like neither candidate (at least at that point in time) spent ANY money on ads for New York. So that is potentially huge and downright funny that Biden is pouring money there! I’ve been super curious as to how everyone stampeding out of NYC will change the demographics there. Fingers crossed!

Not that I saw. They were very cold all day. This crowd was more motivated than the WI crowds in 2016.

They chanted and applauded just like the other crowds, including the “We Love You!” chant. If you look at them, they were COLD! But their enthusiasm was HOT!

Trying to gauge crowd response is very subjective. You have to be familiar with a baseline to access accurately. I’m basing my assessment on the WI crowds from 2016. As President Trump says, the motivation is greater than in 2016 and I agree.

The man is unreal. Almost four years of stuff that would keep most people hiding under a bed and he just keeps pounding away. I made the mistake at first thinking this was an ego trip, something to check off. We know people this successful need to be egotistic to a point. Yet he won, maybe even to his surprise, and yet he just never ever freaking quits!

After all of this he can get up on a stage twice in a day at the end of the day and deliver powerful speeches and still joke around and crack me up. I can’t think of another DC person that has made me laugh WITH them as often as this gift from above has.

I dare say I doubt there are many dems that in their most private thoughts know if the SHTF they would choose Trump over the mentally challenged Biden in a heartbeat.

If Trump was consumed by anger at what people have done to him he would not be able to be an effective president. I think he is always mindful of being able to do the best for the citizens and nation that backs him. As he said, he takes the slings and arrows for us.

Agreed. Biden has really been losing his temper lately. He’s also gone cognitively downhill just in the last few months – I saw a “flashback” clip of him at the debates and I was shocked it was the same man we’ve been seeing lately. He was so much more coherent then.

If he wasn’t such a pervert around young girls and women I might just muster up a smidgen of sympathy for the abuse he is being put through by the evil Dems and his wife. But he has spent 47 years as a despicable, nasty, crooked, lying, politician lining his pockets from illegal deals that have decimated our country. He even used his son ( I know he was a willing accomplice but still it’s his own son) to run the scams. I could almost feel sorry for him but I don’t.

I’m back from the Janesville rally. First let me tell you how cold and windy it was –all day. No sun, light rain twice for short periods and winds gusts up to 45 mph. I asked for a garbage bag at the food tent and wore it as a poncho. The shuttle bus/remote parking was new to me and not my preferred way of rallying. I went by myself but got together with a group in the parking lot. I arrived at 6am, a Chicago kid at 2am and the earliest person slept overnight in his RV. We piled into someone’s car and drove to get in line at the airport (dozen people there already) then the driver took the shuttle over as we held a spot for her. Security advised us to wait till shuttles began running at 9am but we did our own thing. As usual everyone was nice, friendly and helpful. Everyone’s stuff was still there after the rally. The shuttles going back to the parking lot were coming fast and furious so no problem after the rally.

I didn’t get a temp check but some did–random I suppose. Masks were given out. Team Trump folks passed out stuff to us early birds. I scored 2 hats (blue + camo) after telling them I’m a suburban woman who loves POTUS. We were in rows 4-6 center right and it was fabulous. The signs above the bleachers on both sides were taken down due to wind–rally goers holding them down until a crew removed them. Old Glory and the thin blue line flags waving, POTUS looking at us and everyone chanting. This was the chanty-est bunch I’ve been around. Some chants didn’t get off the ground or faded fast but people were starting them left and right. They really wanted to chant loud and long. Numerous first time rally goers. Loads from Illinois and a guy from Michigan. A “Pritzger” sucks chant was attempted but didn’t catch on.

I talked to so many former dems who are on fire for Trump. The conservative/republican voters noted 2 things: they want rinos purged and they want the right to fight harder. Drain the left side of the swamp and the right! Frequent references to going back to normal, voting straight red, Trump is protected by God (I agree), Trump never stops working, complaining about media/censorship. Big topic was the date/17th and 17 days till the election. When POTUS mentioned it people went crazy. Despite people fiddling with their phones (me included) they hung on every word. When he suggested we sit down nobody really wanted to! We finally thawed out and wanted to party! A lady behind me thought we’d get a shorter rally since he was in Muskegon. I said no, we’ll get a full one, POTUS won’t short change us. She gave me the ‘you were right look’ at the end. Haha

Melissa Young and son were in the first row. She’s a former Miss Wisconsin. I saw her at the Janesville rally in 2016 were she spoke about her illness and the support she’s received over the years from Pres Trump. She was very sick in 2016 but vague about her dx. During that rally POTUS asked her questions from the stage after she made brief remarks. She’s doing well now and has a book on Amazon. She told me it’s neck and neck with Michelle Obama’s book.

He added “making America powerful again” at the end–haven’t heard that one till today. People really want kids back in school and learning the 3 R’s, not leftist ideology. I believe he’s prepping us for a battle with the teachers union. Very little said about covid in my conversations. People are moving on to other topics. Pandemic is over with most people. Huge support for law and order esp being respectful and not resisting arrest.

Totally worth waiting in line for hours on a cold, long day. Our President gifts us with his time and talent. He doesn’t have to do rallies. He doesn’t have to do anything. I’m damn grateful for everything he does to MAGA.

Just woke up and got my coffee. The Conservative Tree House is my first place to go and I was so excited to see you had left a review. It was great! From reading your review and watching all the rallies it appears to me that the excitement and enthusiasm for our President is much bigger and more intense than it was in 2016. It’s great to see! Thanks Tusk so much for the great review. I want to suggest we all buy a copy of Melissa Young’s book (Something Beautiful Is Going To Happen) on Amazon to put Mooch’s book into the dust bin. LOL

Like Twitter, it’s a reminder, when the media has no input, no POTUS in history has connected more with its people.
Dems used to control law enforcement unions and had their support.
Trump supports Law Enforcement, gaining support of most Americans and the Unions.
And soon we will have Obama campaigning for his ex-VP who brought shame to his Administration by selling US Policy to foreign influences?
How is that going to resonate with US citizens?

This was my second Trump Rally. The first was 2 years ago when he was in Southern Illinois helping Mike Bost retain his congress seat. The crowd was much bigger this time. I estimated at least 10,000. We had a red flag warning with wind gusts over 50 mph. The Law enforcement people in the bleachers had to help remove the Promises Made Promises Kept Signs on top of the 2 bleacher stands that adjoin the main grandstand. People had to park at a nearby Community College and be bused about 3 miles to the Regional Airport. This was very organized and they had plenty of busses. They took everybody’s temperature when you entered the Cue and again it was very fast and organized. There were about 5,000 in Cue when we arrived waiting for the metal detector gates to open. You had to empty all your pockets, but this went a lot quicker than TSA at Airports. They can seat 4,000 with the Seats and Grandstands. Most people were standing . The music is very good and makes the wait easier. People were showing a lot of Unique Trump Garb and socializing with each other much more than at the Rally of 2 years ago. Most of the crowd were women, and if It’s OK to say, they were above average in the Attractive Dept. They also were more enthusiastic and louder than the Men. President Trump got there about an hour late, but the wind had died down by then, so the timing with the Sun In late setting was Awesome. The biggest thing I noticed was the strong support from Women, who based on the conversations I had and overheard are knowledgeable about what has happened with the Deep State and what is going on right now. Great experience, hope all of you can have it.

Thanks for the review Mike. I love to hear all the awesome details about our President’s great rallies. I find your take on the women there really
interesting as the polling shows him with low support from that particular
demographic. I think it is just wishful thinking as I and most women I know want law and order and safety for our children and families. President Trump always questions this in his rallies, too. Thanks again for your comments on the rally.
