there is definitely a high number of citizen voters in hawaii who have use and kessy regard for crazie mazie.

        here the real rub.

it boils to institutional racism and ethnic cronyism.

hawaii in every single category of state representation is solid Japanese descent.

its been this way for a very long time.

until about 15 years ago..the ratio was reasonable to the population…and more precisely it was quite moderate to other interests.

then the hawaii real estate market shot like a rocket… gentrification has one sole primary cause… Japanese speculative buying…it has caused one of the most wide separation between the uber rich and elite officials and the rest of hawaii.

covid is playing out to expose the graft and the side hustles long overlooked and ignored. and before covid, it was the insanely expensive and corrupt rail system… which has been proven to be a massive fraud..there are no less than 67 civil suits AND an ongoing federal investigation… resignations have.happened at a record clip…

the “board” for that rail boondoggle is composed of nearly ALL Japanese Hawaiians!!! its part of the culture… the elite feudal Japanese regimes are still very much alive.

but things are changing… mostly from the obsurdly horrible way that ike is handling policy to it. and also hirono who voted for trillions of covid dollars but small businesses have seen none… while the uber rich and well connected.crony Japanese friends are actually MAKING money…

covid ANd trump are changing Hawaii minds about these Democrats.
its all about elite private self interests exposed.

        good RIDDANCE.

        Hawaii…reclaim your rightful respectful representation.

vote pau for all these wannabe Hawaiians

I called both offices of Amy Klobuchar….here in MN and her office in DC and left a message telling how disappointed I was in her blatantly lying at the hearing today. She repeated the lie that Pres Trump called the military suckers and losers as if it were fact. Same with him not disavowing white supremacy. Then she accused him of saying he wouldn’t agree to a peaceful transfer of power; which isn’t exactly a lie, but I pointed out the fact that the Dems haven’t shown a peaceful transfer from the 2016 election. It drives me crazy how they can sit in front of a committee and the media and outright lie!!

Ivy league means a prestigious University — aren’t there many of those outside of the 8 that “they” consider Ivy? To me, (and I did attend Columbia University) there are many graduates WHO are just as polished, well-spoken, assured, and poised as she. For the most part, Ivy league means that you have the doe-ray-me to attend (unless you are a minority in “their eyes”). My daughter currently attends ND — I would not let her go IVY League (yes she got in), not only because we could not afford it BUT I did not want her coming home a raging lib who may have been brainwashed by those who she was surrounded by. I am surrounded by Ivy League graduates (we live in Westchester County NY) and they for the most part are nowhere near as bright as those who worked hard to attend the local community colleges. Ivy League or ND graduate? The choice is simple — ND grad by a landslide! Go ABC and go Irish!!!

This is why I hate google news, and why I think that the selection and placement of news stories by Google is pernicious and is a major issue that needs to be brought out in to the open. What is the top story on Google News? A link to a story in the “Guardian”, quite the lefty paper, titled: “Amy Coney went to my all girls’ high school: I hope that she is not confirmed”. It is the choice of what to select and highlight, and what stories to ignore, that is markedly affecting people in the U.S. Google News is a major offender.

Just like the democrats we have our share of zealots. Yet, the reason I am disappointed in the zealots here, on CTH, is that they should understand the need for discretion and compromise if one wants to govern. I don’t care much for McConnell but we need this Justice Candidate to be appointed. Folks on CTH should know better that there is a time to resist or be smart as well as a time to understand the difference between the two positions.

The demoncrats have been infiltrated by marxists, islamic radicals and anarchists. With the help of the MSM they hide who they really are to most of the people that vote for demoncrats. I believe that at least 70% of democrats would abandon the party, if it weren’t for the MSM glossing over the completely crazy, radical positions of the demoncrat party.

The ability of the MSM to continuously lie and distort must be destroyed somehow.

The nattering class of Dems just beclown themselves all the time, always in the same way and all together. I agree she is likeable. But make no mistake, she is incredibly intelligent also. My husband is a lawyer and it’s like a magic trick when he puts on his lawyer hat. When he’s not working he wears jeans and band t-shirts, people underestimate him. But then some kind of switch flips in his brain when the law comes up and all of a sudden he dominates the conversation with facts, precedent, etc. and you are standing there wondering where it came from. I see the same in this lovely woman, I don’t know if it’s hereditary or what lawyers are taught, but they seem to enjoy holding their cards close to their chest and letting people underestimate them.

I am very much looking forward to having her on the SCOTUS. She will be brilliant.

Having her wear a mask today is seemingly an issue for Treepers today. I would have preferred she not have to wear one, but it really didn’t bother me all that much since Graham is obviously trying to thwart the left from using any controvery against her that he can.

Masks are worn everywhere right now whether we like it or not. Why shouldnt they be required in this setting-indoors, long hours inside a closed room? Supposedly the very setting that spreads covid the most easily. I wouldn’t have expected less in a political setting such as this one. She took it off to speak as they all did. We might think it’s ridiculous but it’s the protocol right now. Can you imagine the media ragging on the fact she wasn’t wearing a mask if that happened?

One thing I found interesting was watching all the people shown on camera with their masks on and trying to determine their level of attention and emotion. Eyes are fascinating things to pay attention to when trying to guess what people are thinking and feeling. I had fun with that when the camera showed the Senators who were not speaking and Judge Barrett too. Her eyes were calm for the most part but at times she would smile and you could see it in her eyes, but for the majority of the time, her eyes were very focused on the speaker and she was paying close attention to whomever was talking.

Masks are no fun at all, but it has been interesting watching masked people’s eyes and what one can determine from just those eyes being visible. Pres. Trump conveys alot with just his eyes. He has such strength of personality that much is revealed and understood about him even when most of his face is covered. No doubt about what he is trying to convey, mask or no mask. Imo.

I worry greatly about young children that are forced to wear masks for no valid scientific or health reason. They need to learn non-verbal communication. I worry that it 10 years or so we are going to have a whole generation of children and young adults that are functionally on the autistic spectrum, meaning they have impaired ability to read non-verbal social cues.

I don’t hate a lot of people, but I hate the people behind this phony pandemic response. They need to be removed from all positions of power and shunned from society. It is one thing to abuse adults. It is another thing to abuse children for political gain.
