all right, here we go folks, some things i didn’t think of.. biden wants a break every 30 minutes tonight & just read that 911 (which is operated by microsoft in many states, who knew) is experiencing “breakdowns” in many states.. not sure if it’s true, maybe not.. but if it is, sure fits the picture

exhausting keeping up but the crew on the left is REJECTING Pres Trumps request that he & biden get checked for “ear pieces”.. there will be other ridiculous things, no doubt, as the day wears on.. microsoft seems to be playing games with the 911 emergency call system as well as some other health related calls in many states (not sure of the program name).. they say they are correcting them but sure seems like a power move, like, “see what we can do?” .. all done TODAY.. of all days

Yet another thing I didn’t think of is that biden would be given questions in advance.. specially after that last debacle with that Brazile. seems that may be the case.. i just thought, oh.. a power outage or technical difficulty, false flag perhaps.. was maybe thinking too far outside the box.. starting to have doubts tonight will happen at all.. these on-the-spot demands are causing problems.. big surprise

More proof that the agenda of anti-American government bureaucrats will never be the same of a pro-American president.

Unless…there are practically no Americans qualified for such “technical positions.” If that can be proven (e.g. because of too much edumbcation in the baby-sitting buildings called schools), then maybe we do need to allow them in as legal immigrants.

Richard Nixon complained that getting the bureaucracy to effect and enforce his administrations policies was very difficult, because so many bureaucrats even back then were Leftist DEMS.

I think Trump should be at the top of his game, especially since he’s had the likes of Rudy and Christie to prepare him for Wallace and Biden.

I hope Trump is careful with the personal remarks. Don’t mention Hunter specifically because that would bring on a “How dare you attack my only surviving son!” response from Biden, and get him sympathy as a grieving father (even though Beau has been dead for five years). Instead go for the general family grifting as to China, Ukraine and Iraq (IIRC Biden’s brother Joe’s company got a big contract for some work it had no experience in).

Stay away from the drug test stuff for now; people equate that with illegal drugs. Biden’s appearances have been so carefully orchestrated that unless you’re a political junkie, you haven’t seen how bad he is. The acceptance speech was a masterful piece of digital editing of segments. Jill Biden has laughed off the “gaffes” so the Dems and MSM will just say, “Joe being Joe” or “Trump’s attacking a man who conquered a stutter!”). If Biden is really confused at the debate, then it might be time to actually say the d-word – dementia. Vague comments about “Biden’s not all there” are just that – vague.

Go on the attack against Biden’s/DNC’s actual programs, and make Biden defend them (assuming Biden can remember what’s in the DNC platform).

And keep a sense of humor. Remember the effect of Reagan’s smiling, “There you go again!” Americans loves a happy warrior.

In late June, Cindy, 72, flew to Denver to visit her daughter and grandchildren. Cindy previously had valley fever, which Dahlstrom said resulted in “a left lung that was scarred.”

Days after flying, Cindy tested positive for the virus and was put on a ventilator. She died on July 6.

Sorry you’re no longer here, Cindy… but that was a bone-headed decision on your part. Always somebody to blame, I suppose.

She took a flight in late June? When the pandemic was still peaking in a lot of places? And where did she go and whom did she encounter when she visited her daughter?

I feel sorry for her family, but with that medical history, she should have stayed home and even let her husband do all the local shopping and errands.

So she bares no personal responsibility for her decisions? It’s the fault of the President? Not China mind you, the President of the United States. If visiting the grandchildren was so important, why not drive instead of fly? If the drive was too much for her it most likely wasn’t too much for the daughter and grandkids.

I agree with the others, this woman was high risk and should have taken every precaution.

This sounds like a bogus story to me but if this is real and she did pass then my sympathies to her husband. She probably should have stayed home and taken the proper preventatives, washed hands and kept her distance.

Blaming the Pres. for this virus is just nuts. He had nothing to do with it getting here and he has tried very hard to keep it in check within the Constitutional framework he has to follow. How about blaming your governor and local officials and maybe yourselves for her contracting the virus?

Joe Biden is and has always been a bully. He can’t help it. It will come out tonight. Wallace may not ask all the tough questions, but President Trump certainly can during his answers. This will get under Joe’s skin and he will react like he did in the auto factory (e.g., lying dog faced pony soldier) and with the interview where he accused the interviewer of being on drugs. Biden bullied Ryan, he tried to bully his competitors during the primaries, and he will try it here. Dementia exacerbates the tendency to react in a bullying or unhinged manner.

We will see. I am not sure that Wallace won’t be protecting him. I have seen Wallace give softball interviews to Democrats and then really give no quarter on President Trump or Republicans. Indeed, “give no quarter” may be the wrong wording. I have seen him counter President Trump; essentially arguing with him, trying to blindside him, trying to make him seem like he is lying by presenting quotes from opponents as if the opponents’ words were unquestioned.

I literally had made it a goal to turn the channel every time Wallace comes on — but now I will have to watch because he is the moderator. I hope he surprises me, but I have no expectations of such. What I expect is Candy Crowley to the nth power.

The one factor that might change this is that Biden would not come on Fox Sunday with Wallace. Wallace mentioned this every week and seemed annoyed.

Biden did not come to kiss the ring, and this is Wallace’s only chance to show how he would have questioned Biden. Might be softball, or slightly more balanced between the two candidates.

Facing Crappiest Recovery Ever, Airlines Demand New $25-Billion Bailout, for $50 Billion Total, after Having Burned $45 Billion on Share Buybacks
    by Wolf Richter • Sep 28, 2020

Coddled investors, not taxpayers, should step up to the plate and fund the “daily cash burn.”

    https://wolfstreet.com/2020/09/28/facing-crappiest-recovery-ever-airlines-demand-new-25-billion-bailout-for-50-billion-total-after-having-burned-45-billion-on-share-buybacks/

American Airlines was also the airline that blew, incinerated, wasted, and trashed more than any other airline on share buybacks. Buybacks ceased in the second quarter, but from 2013 through Q1 2020, American Airlines incinerated $13.1 billion in cash on share buybacks. That cash would now come in very handy. 2013 was also the year Mr. Parker became CEO of American Airlines.

Delta blew, wasted, and incinerated $11.7 billion in cash on share buybacks over the period; Southwest Airlines, $10.9 billion (starting in 2012); and United $8.9 billion. In total, the big four airlines blew, wasted, and incinerated $44.6 billion in cash on share buybacks from 2012 through Q1 2020, and now the airlines want an additional $25 billion bailout, for a total of $50 billion, much of it in forms of grants, from taxpayers.

In terms of the numbers of passengers entering airports in the US, over six months into the Pandemic, the business is still down nearly 70% from last year, according to TSA airport screenings. The interesting thing is how the recovery is not happening, and how the strong seasonal patterns have disappeared.

His job normally requires him to travel, BUT because of “covid”, if he flies he has to quarantine once he gets there for two weeks AND AGAIN once he flies back home. Needless to say, he is NOT flying and can only work remote, which makes things much more difficult. Just think if all the military/contractors are operating in this manner.

Airlines need to look inwards. The entire experience of flying has turned into dystopia for many customers. CCP19 made it worse (via the ultra Karen system), and who thought that even possible.

    • Sorry…no sympathy here. When the price of oil was high about 7 years ago, airlines raised fees for baggage (extra $25 per bag), drinks, snacks etc under the auspices of “when the price of oil goes down, we’ll eliiminate these fees”. Well those chumps never did.

      What goes around comes around…

Yes, and as RiverElf rightly observes above, airports and flying have become mini-dystopias, displaying almost everything that is wrong with 21st-century society: Soviet-style cattle lines and endless Kafkaesque waiting, rules upon rules upon rules and fees upon fees upon fees in an effort to milk the customer as much as possible.

I do believe that the airlines are happy to have the FedGov slap on more rules, which will allow them to charge more fees…and blame it on the government! Similar to the insurance and “health-care” companies with MAObamaCare and tax accounting firms with IRS red tape: as the service becomes entombed ever more in arcane red tape, the better for them, since you will need to pay them more to decipher everything for you!

“…The dearth of employees at their desks could also have long-term consequences for the city’s economy and tax base. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which relies heavily on commuter revenue, faces a $12 billion shortfall by the end of 2021 and is considering crippling service cuts. Manhattan’s low office turnout also has contributed to a $9 billion drop in sales tax and other revenue the city government is projecting for its fiscal year that started July 1.

About two million people worked daily in Manhattan’s central office districts before the pandemic, mostly white-collar workers but also employees of bars, restaurants, stores and other businesses. A number of once-thriving outlets that depend on office workers for business have already called it quits. That has helped push the city’s unemployment rate during the summer to 20%, the highest rate in more than 40 years.
Café Metro, a quick-service restaurant down the block from the MetLife building in Midtown, is closing early next month. On Thursday at the start of lunchtime, the previously bustling restaurant was nearly empty with just one dining customer and another placing an order.

“Ninety percent of our revenue depends on office workers and another 10% depends on tourists,” said Edison Castillo, the eatery’s manager. “We have lost both ways. I used to have 55 employees between both morning and night shifts. Right now we are down to six.”

“NEW YORK CITY — Police have arrested around 8,625 people for jumping turnstiles so far this year, about 89 percent of whom were black and Latino, according to data obtained from the state.
Those charged with turnstile jumping can face fines of $100 as well as “host of collateral consequences,” including even detention and deportation for undocumented New Yorkers, said Tina Luongo, a Legal Aid Society lawyer.

“Until the city terminates broken windows policing, arrests for low-level offenses will continue to plague communities of color in every borough,” she said.

But Diehl insisted that police can’t just turn a blind eye to people who jump the turnstile.

“To see [farebeating] happen rampantly sets a tone of disorder,” Diehl said. “[It’s] something that’s critical to people feeling like they have an orderly subway.”

The above is a 2017 article.

Now at present Blacks are entitled to commit the crime of Turnstile Jumping, NYC will have to Tax others more to pay for the Subway System.

Maybe they got the idea from the Babylon Bee, who put out a “My Debate Notes” from Biden (absolutely hilarious) with the note: “Go backstage between commercials for MORE DRUGS!”

      • Nepanyrush says:

This refers to the Biden request for breaks very 30 minutes. The Babylon Bee also listed; “Tug on your left ear and Chris Wallace will throw you a softball,” and images on the right (for inspiration) of his favorite hair to sniff, with a big note: “NO SNIFFING OF HAIR.”

Trump refused to agree to the 30-minute breaks.

The Biden canpaign has probably spend a lot of time fine-tuning the drugs, and re-setting Biden’s internal clock (like one does with jet lag), so Biden will be at his 9 am best at 9 pm.

But the Biden campaign apparently forget the physical training. They should have had Biden training to stand to rehearse for 45 minutes stretches under hot lights.

Stay away from the drugs issue. Too many low-information voters would think that it referred to illegal drugs.

Biden’s appearances have been so carefully orchestrated that little evidence of dementia has gotten out unless you’re a political junkie or watch the Fox evening line-up. Trump hasn’t even used the word “dementia,” as far as I can recall. References to Joe “not being all there” are just too vague.

The earpiece issue is a better one. Earbuds are getting so small people could understand a tiny one in the ear into which the answers are being fed.

I’ve waited for this day to come. I’m quite surprised that the Debate between President Trump and Sleepy Joe is going on as scheduled. I was rather convinced that it would called off due to Sleepy Joe’s many issues (mental decline, refusal to answer tough questions, media protecting him, etc.). Sleepy Joe is gonna realize that he’s debating a ferocious lion and not the weaselly Paul Ryan. I hope Trump goes scorch Earth on Sleepy Joe. Playtime is over! Then again, watching Trump keep calm but firm as Sleepy Joe stumbles around or loses his temper might not be a bad idea.

    – If Sleepy Joe mentions the Fine People Hoax in Charlottesville, VA, I’d like to see Trump counter if Sleepy Joe considers the rioters, looters, and Antifa terrorists “very fine people”. Will Sleepy Joe continue to fool people into believing that he’s a moderate despite embracing the extreme left wing of his party?

    – I hope Trump mentions Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden family corruption (China, Ukraine, etc.) because Chris Wallace most likely won’t. He’ll ask Trump about the tax stuff nonstop (I DON’T CARE! People who either love or hate the President is not going to be swayed either way) Didn’t Sleepy Joe also use tax loopholes to his advantage? Will Wallace have the courage to confront Sleepy Joe on his taxes too?

    – Will Sleepy Joe be asked about who he would put in the Supreme Court and whether or not he would expand the Court? Would he put either of the Obamas in the Supreme Court?

    – Can Sleepy Joe stand for 90+ minutes? Will the media do their proper job and fully vet him instead of pelting him with softballs? Doubtful. Did he get the questions in advance? Probably

On a side note, I know the polls are fake (looking at you, Faux News!) but these recent polls make no sense, even though they are starting to trend towards POTUS! How can Sleepy Joe and Creepy Kamala still be up nationally over POTUS/VP Pence if the following is also true:

    – POTUS overall approval rating is somewhere between 48-53%; plus, Sleepy Joe isn’t that popular to begin with. Who, besides his family, is even eager to actually vote for him???
    – POTUS outperforming with Latinos and other minorities
    – POTUS leading Sleepy Joe in most of the battleground states (the real polls, not the garbage poll that Faux puts out every week)
    – Sleepy Joe/Kamala are not energizing the youth or minorities the way Obama in 2008/2012 did
    – Kamala couldn’t even make it in the Democrat primary and appeals to nobody; also very unlikable.
    – POTUS still draws large crowds; Sleepy Joe or Kamala can’t fill a small gym!
    – Sleepy Joe & Kamala still won’t strongly condemn the BLM/Antifa violence in Dem-run cities.
    – combining TV and internet streams, more people watched the RNC than the DNC

Overpolling NY and CA again, Faux, WashPost/ABC, and other fake pollsters? Overpolling females? Did these pollsters find the dumbest, most uninformed people out there to do these polls? I’ve never been polled and I’m pretty sure many of you who hang around here haven’t either. Maybe the stupidity of the American voter isn’t so far off, quoting the infamous Obamacare tech Jonathan Gruber. Trump with all his accomplishments should be up by at least 20 nationally.

Despite what the media, Dems, RINOS, Big Tech, Hollywood, etc have thrown at him, look at what Trump as accomplished, such as the recent Middle East peace talks. Are swing voters and suburban women that foolish enough to throw all that away and put Sleepy Joe and Creepy Kamala in the White House?! More Middle East wars, higher taxes, BLM/Antifa violence nationwide, national mask mandate, rampant internet/media censorship, jobs being outsourced to China, Sleepy Joe dies or suffers from health issues within his first term and Kamala takes over as President, the Trump family/administration/associates/allies all facing prison especially if the Dems keep the House and retake the Senate. Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Comey-Barrett (if she’s confirmed) are removed from the Supreme Court as they are “illegitimate”. I can go on and on. So many scary things could happy if America votes stupidly (or if voter fraud goes unchallenged) in what is the most important election in our lifetime. Say NO to Sleepy and Creepy!

  38. I fully expect Wallace to address Biden as “Mr. Vice President,” which he isn’t. I hear a lot of leftists refer to him in this manner in a pathetic attempt to confer gravitas on the old dolt. How Wallace addresses President Trump is very unlikely to consistently be “Mr. President,” which WOULD be accurate, he will find some way to try to subtly diminish our President.

I expect every question to the President will begin with a false premise; President Trump will be placed in the position of having to correct the premise of the question before he can answer it, taking up valuable time which they will count against him. “When did you stop beating your wife?”

Lastly, under no circumstances with any combination of drugs, sleep patterns or anything else can Biden keep it together for 90 minutes and appear lucid to the end. No way.

I look forward to seeing his dog-faced pony soldier take it out back to let the kids stroke his hairy legs.

200,000 hasn’t reach the lower end of the scientist estimation. They claimed up to 2 million would die. The increased ability of survival has increased while while implementing several theraputics and vaccine development. Not to mention how many died of China Virus that had multiple heath factors. Dr. Birx said she believed the death rate of dying from China Virus is being grossly over counted. Like how the Lapdog Media wants to over count cases with testing.

Biden’s camp is full of crap because the President has noted deaths and rates at every China Virus press conference.

It seems the Trump administration chose to buy into the narrative of “2,000,000 deaths if nothing done” so they could try to capitalize on the fact that “only” 200k died, and tout that as a success.

Well, we see how that turned out. Now the Dems just parrot the “200k dead because Trump” line everywhere.

This is why I have been saying since March that we should stop buying their false narrative, playing their game, and constantly playing defense.

Instead of fighting propaganda with propaganda, we should fight propaganda with TRUTH.

Facts, statistics, numbers and percentages DESTROY the entire coronavirus narrative.

Been offline but paying attention. Super excited about ACB-I believe this nomination IS the election.

Tonight’s debate is going to be savage.

Covid is a joke. Several of my kids’ friends have gotten it and their family members. We’ve all tested negative twice already. I seriously believe we had it in January, but I tested negative for antibodies back in May. Just found out that antibodies usually show up for 60 days but you are likely still immune. My one son has spent several weekends at ISU (huge party college) where lots of people had it and none of us have. It’s almost like we can’t get it even if we try. Strange. Everyone we know that has had it has been very mild symptoms for a very short duration.

    I’ll be watching tonight.

But he is supposedly being investigated for stealing funds from Trump campaign. If true, and proven, i have no sympathy. Spousal abuse, embezzlement and threatening suicide are all serous charges. I also don’t believe cops overreacted. They took him down quickly and effectively given the situation and were quite nice after the initial takedown. For his part, he was also pretty cooperative. I’m not going to jump on police for being a bit overly aggressive given they were called to the house on a call of abuse and threats of suicide with weapons. If he were black or a known criminal or whatever, we’d all be siding with police, so I refuse to go that direction at all.

If you can’t provide power to homes and businesses reliably, how are you going to charge millions of cars daily?

Hmm…maybe there will be “special power prioritization” for public transit which will aid the herding process.
