Well, lookie here from Gateway Pundit: Biden Camp and Liberal Mainstream Media Lie! Trump Actually Paid Millions in 2016-2017 Taxes – They Just Needed to Read the Article
    Replying to @alexthechick
Read that closely. Trump PAID, as in transferred to the US Treasury, $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017. Note also that most of the overpayment was rolled forward, not refunded. The $750 figure is an ADDITIONAL $750. Thus every single story saying he paid $750 is a lie.

Not sure this summary by the original author is correct. I saw this (and on Twitter as well) but when I read the materials, it made it seem like he paid $1 million (and 4.2 million) in pre-payment of taxes, but then when taxes actually computed they came to $750 and the pre-payment was rolled forward.

Maybe some tax attorney can look into this more. But the author, who seems to be sneering at those who claim $750 instead of $1 million and 4.2 million, could actually be the one with egg on her face. But I will leave this up to the experts.

The reality is that President Trump generated a huge amount of taxes overall and also is not taking his $400,000 a year salary. So, those people wearing the silly Biden t-shirts claiming they paid more than the President in taxes might want to show some self-awareness of how stupid they look.

The media is desperate to change the subject, anything will do. They know the violent rioting and racial division is hurting Biden.

Lying about PDJT and veterans didn’t work, blaming PDJT for Covid didn’t work. Blaming him for the economy is next, and these fake tax returns are a way to bring it up while smearing PDJT.

They are desperate. I get at least one call from push polls a week. I always tell them the truth, that none of their statements will make me less likely to vote PDJT, because the Democrats have gone crazy. I know a lot of people don’t answer truthfully to pollsters to keep them working blind, but I like to think that having a suburban college educated women such as myself tell them they are crazy will help spread the panic. The more they panic, the more mistakes they will make.

Not sure but business pays estimated taxes quarterly the $750 could be additional estimated taxes owed.

You are correct! Having owned a small business for over 30 years, estimated taxes are paid by the owner quarterly. The key word is estimated. Once the year end tax returns are completed, you will find out how close you estimated what you owed. If you underestimated, you pay the difference then with your tax return. Thus the $750 that President Trump paid with the tax returns.

People who aren’t self employed don’t understand this, because their income tax is deducted from their paychecks before they even see it. Trust me, having to write a check to the United States Treasury four times per year is a lot more painful than seeing what was deducted from your paycheck.

Painful! Tell me about it. We don’t send in equal amounts each quarter but instead pay according to income that quarter. They really do make it odious to do paper work/taxes and run a business. PT has more work to do with business regulations. A one man operation should not be saddled with these roadblocks.Just keeping records on a business vehicle….depreciation, and actual expenses verses mileage. Whether to expense in year one and how it affects future decisions requires an accountants help. Which by the way you really can’t afford. With endless rules and regulations it is almost impossible to not make mistakes. Then they will slam you with penalties. Sigh.

Yes but with with accountants.. I have found that if you aren’t as informed as they are then you will miss many write offs. Garbage in garbage out. Also an accountant usually will not take advantage of grey areas but instead takes the safe road that will cost you more taxes. JM2cents.

During the debates, the President (who as we know, is a very stable genius) also allowed that he much prefers to use some of the tax savings afforded him (through perfectly legal tax strategies) to make his *own* charitable contributions.

For example, the President won’t add one penny more than is legally required, to fund to an already bloated and wasteful treasury. So if they need more HUD funds to say, bribe/build more sanctuary cities for illegal slave laborers, our government is plum out of luck!

Ditto if our crooked pols want more of Trump’s tax monies to waste on healthcare for illegal border jumpers, or to prop up France’s social programs ala the Paris Accord, or to wastefully spend on EU’s defense.. well.. you get the idea.

This is NOT to say that our President is a penny pincher. Oh no sir-ree, Bob!

He just prefers to select his *own* charities and choose who the benefactors of his hard work will be. Unlike Quid Pro Joe, who admittedly stuffs his *own* pockets with millions in Ukrainian bribes, Donald Trump happens to be an extremely charitable soul, but we will never hear any of that from the lying, deceitful, COMPLICIT ENEmedia, now will we?

I guess Biden is medically required to have lengthy periods of rest between doses of the drug that jacks him up enough to be lucid for a few hours. If so, then he may be dosed up and able to perform well enough for all three debates but will be seldom heard from between the debates. If he pulls this off and the drug enables him to perform well during the debates, then the Dems succeed in all but eliminating the dementia issue. Can the drug enable him to answer impromptu questions lucidly or only read a teleprompter lucidly? And will the earphone feed to Biden work during the debate? It takes mental agility to listen to a feed while listening to a question or talking.

“Did Mueller peek at Trump’s tax returns?”

        https://thehill.com/opinion/criminal-justice/440970-did-mueller-peek-at-trumps-tax-returns

Trump pointedly noted that “Mueller, I assume, for $35 million, checked my taxes, checked my financials. … They checked my financials, and they checked my taxes, I assume” — the inference being that since Mueller had looked at them, there is no need for Congress to review them also. But is that a false assumption and therefore a new false narrative foundation being created?

That opinion piece from last year rejects the notion that Weissman/Mueller would have requested and obtained Trump’s tax records… because the IRS would “never” give up the documents without a “good”, “legal” reason.

But Weissman/Mueller was a purely Political Operation staffed with Financial Crimes prosecutors looking for Financial Crimes… they had his taxes. Weissman himself could have leaked them to his buddies at the FNYT.

Correct. It is SPECIFICALLY for Chris Wallace to pound this narrative during Tuesday’s debates that will be watched by 10’s of millions. The timing of this was deliberate in relation to the debate.

Chris will do his fake thing. Trump will respond. Chris will challenge him with another follow-on tax question and it will go on for at least 4 minutes putting Trump on the defense. The script is already written. For the people.

Biden will not get a tax question.

          Debate history repeats….

          2007 Democratic debate:
Senator Biden was asked whether he is more qualified than New York Senator Hillary Clinton,.
Rather, he switched the topic to New York mayor Rudy Guiliani’s credentials, Biden proclaimed: “There’s only three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun, a verb and 9/11.”

The Giuliani campaign issued a response before the debate had even finished:

“The good Senator is quite correct that there are many differences between Rudy and him. For starters, Rudy rarely reads prepared speeches and when he does he isn’t prone to ripping off the text from others.”

This is outrageous and completely unfair to those of us who hold our voting rights in high regard and want our vote to be legal and count. We have to get some reforms in these loosey goosey states with the voting process. ID required and in person and on time voting. No ballot harvesting or late votes counted. Nothing less.

this is the reason…Sundowning…they are trying to reset OHiden…but travel is necessary! Also, LIGHTS NOISE AND CROWDS ARE A GIVEN FOR FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE!

Factors that may aggravate late-day confusion include:

      Fatigue
      Low lighting
      Increased shadows
Disruption of the body’s “internal clock”
      Difficulty separating reality from dreams
Presence of an infection such as urinary tract infection
      Tips for reducing sundowning:

Try to maintain a predictable routine for bedtime, waking, meals and activities.
Plan for activities and exposure to light during the day to encourage nighttime sleepiness.
      Limit daytime napping.
Limit caffeine and sugar to morning hours.
Keep a night light on to reduce agitation that occurs when surroundings are dark or unfamiliar.
In the evening, try to reduce background noise and stimulating activities, including TV viewing, which can sometimes be upsetting.
In a strange or unfamiliar setting, bring familiar items — such as photographs — to create a more relaxed, familiar setting.
Play familiar gentle music in the evening or relaxing sounds of nature, such as the sound of waves.
Talk with your loved one’s doctor if you suspect that an underlying condition, such as a urinary tract infection or sleep apnea, might be worsening sundowning behavior, especially if sundowning develops quickly.

Mask Nazi”s are doubling down in some businesses here in St Pete FL. As of Saturday, 9/27, yesterday afternoon,(two days after the Desantis EO), I was twice aggressively approached to wear a mask.(by employees). I left each business after telling them to stuff it. Every jackass in both places had their masks on.
For a minute I wondered whether I had entered the Twilight Zone.
I can’t find where St Pete or the county are trying to push back against Desantis.
Amazingly, I had frequently been to each of these businesses since the mask mandate, without a mask, and was not bothered in the least.
When the dictate was set, back in ??, if a business asked me to wear a mask, I would say health exception. And they would welcome me in. I have never worn a mask, and never will.
Also, interestingly, I only had one fellow customer ask me where my mask was. It was at a Home Depot. I told him it was up his ass. That silenced him.
This manufactured panic has been an eye opener for me. The ignorance and SHEEP mentality of the population as a whole is stunning.

I took it completely off as I was paying AND I left him a tip. Unbelievable. Their sign says “due to county ordinance and for the safety of our customers,” neither of which applied to me.

I don’t think putting it off was the right action however. The constitution says POTUS shall, not POTUS can choose to or not. It was President Trump’s duty to nominate a replacement for RBG. Just as it was Obama’s to nominate a replacement for Scalia.

Trump is used to attack questions, but has to be prepared for Biden’s expected “Trump’s COVID policies killed 200,000 people.”

Christie is an excellent debater. He and POTUS go way back. I trust him for debate prep. Rudy can ramble and get in the weeds, but Rudy knows a lot and his knowledge will be invaluable. I’m not sure what roll Pam Bondi is playing. I imagine all 3 are free to give their honest feedback.

CC will help POTUS sharpen his answers and he can probably imitate Chris Wallace’s style of questioning pretty well. I will never forget Christie taking out Lil Marco, it was a thing of beauty.

HH: So you should know that the primary sub-source of the dossier is a Russian agent. And the fact that you don’t is why people don’t trust CNN, because they don’t know that you guys ever look on the other side of a story.

BS: I read as much as I can, but there are much bigger priorities in this country right now, frankly, than a four year old dossier.

    HH: Oh, Brian.

BS: I understand that it’s part of the right-wing fantasyland, but it’s not the biggest story in the world.

HH: No, no. Brian, Brian, hear me on this. Really, do hear me.

    BS: Yeah.

HH: I spent six years in the Department of Justice, the White House Counsel’s Office, got confirmed by the Senate. The idea that a handful of FBI and other people perhaps in the intelligence community were trying to take down a president using an illegal attack upon his election is perhaps the most scandalous effort I’ve ever seen to undermine a president in the beginning of his presidency ever in American history. And you’re not interested in that?

      JCM,
“And how fantastically stupid Americans are for accepting it.”
You make an assumption that Americans ARE “accepting” it.

More broadly, you echo an opinion of American voters expressed by many commenters here.

In essence, that American people, or American voters are stupid, easily decieved, lo-fo, and so easily decieved by the msm.

To me, this is another example of “old thinking” and our enemies are STILL stuck in that old thinking, to their detriment.

If you look at their collective conduct, se the escalator ride, they have been DEPENDANT on this view of Americans and American voters.
That they can put out ANY lie, the more rediculous the better, and the American people will swallow it.
From Trump is a Russian spy, to “we’re all going to die in 12 years” they rely on Americans to have a short attention span, and that a lie can run around the World, before the truth can lace up its running shoes.

PDJT, however has an approach that puts faith in the American people, faith in the American voter, and faith that ultimately the truth, being a marathon runner, will eventually catch up to the lie, and put its running shoe 4 1/2’upthe lies *ss.

And, assuming we all agree that PDJT’S support is far greater than it was in2016, I would say that is proof PDJT is,RIGHT, and those enemies who contiue to underestimate the wisdom of the American people, and of truth to eventually overcome lies are wrong.

So, perhaps its time to make a mental shift, in our view of “the voters”, and adjust our thinking to a new reality?

Otherwise, we are as guilty of being in denial, and refusing to know what we know, as the enemy. Such blindness can be fatal, in times of war.
