Well, who is Mitch McConnell going to pick to replace RGB?
Without McConnell on board, there is no Senate approval.
    Judge Amy Whatsits Barret?

I’m thinking POTUS is being courteous by avoiding the BlackFILE issue on each member of congress – situation of surveillance by the previous adminstration to keep everyone in line.

POTUS can remind them , he doenst have to be courteous about it, and keeping it in the shadow. (that means their dirt gets public with the prosecuting of black file makers) – end result = they step down.

You need to check your spelling, WhiteBoard. This time your spelling error changed the whole meaning of what you wrote. The word is blackmail, not black male. I know you were making a word play on the infamous black file, but I got stumped on what I read. No problem though. Most of us have made plenty of spelling mistakes.

                thanks mate.
my brain constantly gets ahead of itself – trying to say look at the men of the 4 possible no votes on a supreme court (from the repubs)

good news though.. for anyone that reads this before they close the file out

Carter was on the Bongino show (same time as Nunes on) , and he was on the Maria B show-

where he brought of the Crime Victims act.

This would leads into your FISC report you posted earlier – held for litgation.

                —————————-
the sunlight is litigation via Carter – Crime Victims Act.

No unauthorized NSA DATA collected can be deleted ( cause minimization and deletion rules pertain to LEGALLY obtained data – so its ALL staying for litigation via Boasberg..)

                pretty cool.

Her passing is going to bring out every Democrat voter real or imagined, this campaign just became 100% about the Supreme Court. Interesting that President Trump briefly mentioned Ted Cruz on his list of potential nominees in his peaceful rally just now.

          I’m suspecting the President is having his people going over his list looking for who could be nominated without the drama, so it might be someone like Sen. Cruz – a two’fer;

he has experience from the Bush v Gore election and has certainly been vetted during his Senatorial campaigns for anything truly damaging with the added plus that Senators who don’t really care for him would be able to remove him from their ranks.

i wonder if POTUS has been playing light on this SPY stuff – because he was gaming for this McConnel vote when RBG is announced.

Put a Scalia replacement in from a state Republicans carry easily – and deflate the opposition for a 100 years – Ted Cruz confirmed.

Like this election needed anymore intrigue than it already had. 😄

My instincts tell me that there won’t be a move by the GOP or PDJT to hold hearings on a replacement for RBG during election season. But it does make a great campaign issue for PDJT. With BLM/Antifa/Biden voters (but I repeat myself) creating havoc everywhere they go, things like the 1st and 2nd amendement hang in the balance with whoever picks the next SCOTUS judge.

May her soul rest in peace.

This actually could be a win-win moment for horse trading. Why?

Democrats will be terrified by a lifetime appointment, and need the rally cry of a replacement for RBG to drum up enthusiasm. This creates tremendous leverage for Trump to get something legislatively done in exchange for deferring the Supreme Court appointment.

Democrats need that to even have a chance, but Trump can take the risk and get a really good piece of legislation done.

Remember that these politicians have to not only fight for their seats, but also to retain enough cohorts in both House and Senate to maintain key committee leadership appointments.

If Murkowski, Collins, and Romney say no….Pence becomes tie-breaker.

    That being said….

Not sure how Senate will proceed. McConnell could decide to push it through before election if he has at least 50 Republicans in agreement who will hold together. He does like getting judges through.

He could decide to use it as political incentive to get out the vote instead. McConnell is a political creature.

Trump should nominate someone no matter what McConnell decides. It’s his duty.

If Judge Any Coney Barret is on the table….I wonder if that strengthens the Catholic vote (which has been trending Trump) even more?

    • I do not want a person to serve on the Supreme Court who got there because it would bring in the “Catholic” vote. How about POTUS pick the best person for the job instead of pandering to factions of the electorate?
Why not a gay, transgender, Catholic, black, hispanic, American indian, immigrant,??

IMHO, I am suspicious of the timing of the release of her death. Reportedly, she was surrounded by family and friends. How long did they know she was gone? Interesting it came out while POTUS is doing a rally. Were they hoping for a crowd cheering response to hurt POTUS and to stir up the Dem base? Also, interesting that Roberts came out today and said that SCOTUS will continue to do Hearings via technology. He must have been told that she was in her final moments.

Also, I think that Schumer and the Dems are waiting for the RINOs to come out and say something stupid – looking at you Murkowski. Schumer will use it against the GOP. Schumer is very cunning in doing behind-the-scenes scheming – remember McCain and the thumbs down? That was Schumer. He already has a statement out there that is pure politics and didn’t even send his condolences to her passing. Lastly, McConnell is going to have to reign in the GOP Senators and pronto. Any statement that they make can be detrimental to the Senate holding GOP. The Left media is going to go hunting for the GOP Senators to get them to make a stupid statement, mark my words. Turtle better act quickly. If he does not work with POTUS on getting a nominee and start the Hearings process, the GOP Base is going to be furious!

This is a good sign that McConnell acted quickly on with this Statement. IMHO, as I just posted above, he is getting out in front of this and telling his GOP Senators to put a lid on it. McConnell knows that the Senate majority is on the line including his own Senate Seat, and he needs to reign in the RINOs now and shut them up and not talk to the media.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey will become the second player to split from his NFL teammates and remove the name of a black man killed by police on his helmet.

“I was given limited information on the situation regarding Antwon, and I was unaware of the whole story surrounding his death and what transpired during the trial following the tragedy,” Pouncey posted on his Instagram page about the Steelers deciding to put the name of Antwon Rose Jr. on their helmets during the first game of the season. “I should have done more research to fully understand what occurred in its entirety.”
