Comrade Cuomo Announces Visitors into New York Must Show Papers and Register With State or Face $2,000 Fine..

Comrade citizens, those who travel in the Northeast zone should beware, Minister Cuomo is going all-in with the COVID compliance mandates.  All travelers into New York from “high-COVID” states, must provide their papers upon arrival or face a summons and $2,000 fine.

He’s just being a jerk to get back at other states who wanted to restrict NY and acting all tough and trying to make it look like he managed covid better than others. After he objected to NY being restricted and allowed New Yorkers to spread out and infect the rest of the country, of course.

Assuming Biden makes it to the election, I expect him to try to attack the president by comparing the US to places like New Zealand. If so, I hope the president says “New Zealand? I am sorry for your loss. A work colleague of mine lost his father like this on Long Island. His dad had moved in with him a year earlier because he broke his hip. Anyway, due to COVID doctors would not see him in person back in mid-May. He felt a bit off for over a week. The son finally convinced him he had to go to the ER after GP would only do remote conference. He died in his son’s arms getting in the car – massive heart attack. If he had of seen his own Cardiologist he might have been able to have a medication adjustment or received proper treatment earlier. Sadly, there are many people who died due to not being able to see doctors in person or who put off their treatment because doctors were not allowed to perform surgery. The media never talk about these people. Oh and the way, like you, my my work colleague could not have a funeral or a mass service for his father (Italian) either. Yet 3 days later massive protests in the streets were permitted.

So true. The Confederate states should have been allowed to secede. Slavery would have ended anyway, for economic and moral reasons, but gradually, with training and responsibility to foster self sufficiency. No one can seriously posit that all of North America would not be better off, having respected state autonomy and foregone civil war.

Facts: Slave owners were prohibited from freeing slaves until they could show that they had skills to be self-sufficient. This made freedmen strong participants in the American dream, at least until forced by Demonrat policies onto the dole in later generations.

Over 500,000 former slaves died in one year following the end of the Civil War from exposure, malnutrition, and lack of medical care that slave owners had previously supplied. Importation of slaves from abroad had been illegal since 1808, so slave owners had to care for their workforce. At the same time, mechanization of farming and processing crops was beginning, so the size of that workforce was certain to be reduced.

Slavery never should have been allowed on this continent. It’s a grotesque, immoral tragedy. But once it existed, it could either be ended in a rational, humane way or abruptly, with no plan, no care for the people suddenly without homes, without skills, and without guidance or education. Northern industrialists thought they’d get a sudden windfall of much cheaper labor, but didn’t realize how unworkable that exploitative dream really was.

Fast forward to today–there remains a slave culture of dependence and manipulation by Demonrats. LBJ’s “Great Society” might as well have been called “Perpetual Plantation.” Only this perpetual plantation was even worse than the previous temporary ones, b/c it encouraged family disintegration, instead of family formation. It disincentivized employment, education, and acquisition of skills for self-sufficiency; rewarded diffidence, generations of un/under-employment, and exploitation of black women to produce children as mere welfare check supplements. The tragedy of the Demonrat Perpetual Plantation has multiplied the evils of slavery and the tragic casualties of the first year after the Civil War many times over.

So yes, 10 years of gradual, rational, humane emancipation in the 1860s-70s (with or without secession, since we’re admittedly speculating), empowering about 3.5M people to be self-sufficient and mainstreaming them into society and the economy would have been vastly better for them, their progeny, and everyone else, right down to this day. The only way that has ever existed to dispose of the evil of slavery was, is, and always will be for former slaves and their progeny to be truly free through self-sufficiency. My comments are obviously speculative, but not without underlying facts, rationale, and a genuine sense of humanity. Very very bad things almost always happen when the foundations of peoples’ lives are changed violently and abruptly.

Though the time in the past when the idea of gradually empowering and mainstreaming former slaves has long gone, PDJT’s opportunity zone and other economic incentive programs for urban America intend much the same results–help people achieve freedom, pride, stability, and full economic participation through self-sufficiency. It is still possible, but also still requires gradual emancipation from and dismantling of the Demonrats’ Perpetual Plantation.

Attention conservatives and libertarian friends thereof: very seriously consider leaving your blue state and heading to California. Nuts, you say? Consider…

Blue states are not likely to revert to red states; it’s just a time-proven fact of human social evolution that metropolitan areas breed limp-wristed liberals. It has to do with living in a virtual hive and depending 100% on everyone else and an efficient ecosystem to provide for every want and need. The metro dwellers are conditioned to be helpless, and thus, they worship their caretakers like a crippled pet does its doting owner.

California is a destination state. Geographically, it’s a profound creation. Until not too long ago, it was one of THE places to seek out for quality of life–not for everyone, but for a lot of people, and certainly those who could afford it. To this day, it is desired by those who can afford it. To those who must fight the daily grind to stay above water, it can be a very difficult treading experience that takes its toll on endurance.

All that said, California is not as bad as the reputation would have people believe. The other open secret is that a substantial population within California is of the old culture, the plugger, salt of the earth type–you know, flyover country rubes, in the liberal vernacular…the kind of people that normal people like and consider normal, likable people.

California has a healthy but not challenge-free business climate. Sacramento is, by and large over the years, apparently checked to some degree by business interests against doing heavy damage to the business economy. It’s the only reason I can surmise for why a state with such a poor reputation would nevertheless have a thriving business economy that is the envy of the world. Even if employees may prefer not to live or go to California, the business proper and its executives clearly see value in being in California. That says something. It may be a laughing stock, but it’s a pretty steadfast one thus far.

To the point: consider moving away from a comparably less desirable blue state and head to another blue state with arguably better prognosis for quality of life for conservatives. How could that be? Well, for one, if every state in the Union becomes California, well, there’s only one California. In such a scenario, why settle for less? Secondly, in a better scenario, conservatives could get conceivably get to within spitting distance of balancing the political demographics. There could be solid red counties and regions that would carry enough heft to be quasi independent–or someday fully independent–but definitely have an impact in the legislature and governorship over time. If illegal voting activities are put out of commission, the odds improve markedly as well. Also, the current virus scare has quite a lot of people primed to consider an alternative to the liberal quagmire that has ensued of late. If and when a momentary glimpse of sunlight shines on the state and a Court rules favorably for conservative values and rights, that pendulum swing could and will need to be captured for a long time, making the state marginally more favorable for regular and decent folk who cherish their rights.

Consider it. Now is probably the BEST time to make that move. I’m guessing U-haul would pay you to rent a trailer INTO California!

Definitely, consider it. Think about it. On the surface it defies sense. On deeper thought, although many will reject it still, it does have merit. Regardless, a demographic shift if it ever occurred and turned California RED would be a game changer for the USA as a whole. Think of the possibilities…9th Circuit, trend-setting culture, politics, morality, congressional representation, electoral college…

It”s true, it won’t make a difference. Voters receive their ballot with their party acronym peeking out of a small hole in the back of the envelope, and just for safe keeping, the envelopes the ballots go in for voting are color-coded. if they count enough Democrat votes to go one over 50% of voters, they dump the rest of the ballots. There was a “scientific study” done to prove it, in a county in Northern Ca, and it was proven but nothing was changed because of it. All poliyicians are crooked to the max, right?

I didn’t know Florida had tripped Blue. The whole point is for Blue-staters to make a run for the California border while they can. Moving conservatives and affiliated libertarians from electoral college blue states to CA would, in the extreme, effect a massive electoral college upset that would change the USA for the greater good while also increasing the odds of having a good quality of life as well. Only makes sense for blue-staters who could improve their (and our) condition with this strategic move.

“ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health released its daily coronavirus testing report showing a statewide positivity rate of 11 percent, but FOX 35 quickly noticed some shocking positivity rates.

Countless labs report 100 percent positivity, which means every single person tested was positive.
FOX 35 sifted through the report to find local testing sites with high numbers, like Centra Care where the report showed 83 people were tested and all tested positive.

The Orlando Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent, according to the report.A spokesperson for the VA said officials are looking into the numbers.

NCF Diagnostics has a location in Alachua, which reported 88 percent of tests coming back positive and 98 percent for Orlando Health.

How could that be? We investigated these astronomical numbers, contacting every location mentioned. Orlando Health, the only to answer our question, confirmed errors in the report.

Its positivity rate is in fact only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report. FOX 35 haS yet to hear from the other labs or the Florida Department of Health to explain how the error could have been made on an official report. Stay tuned to FOX 35 News for updates.”

Here in Ohio, our failed governor has mandated masks in at least 12 counties with “inflated” cases that have reached his arbitrary number. Amazingly, the Ohio Capital Journal reported on July 9th that “A spokesman for Gov. Mike DeWine on Wednesday said that even though the governor ordered people to wear masks inside Franklin County’s public spaces, that order won’t be enforced against some of the state’s most public people inside the state’s most public building.” The spokesman (Tierney) goes on to say “The governor has been very respectful of the separation of powers.” So apparently the failed governor has created a two-tiered system for his orders, one for legislators for whom he knows he can’t bully and one for the common citizens, those who pay his salary and elected him to office (in other words, “the little people.”) If that just doesn’t say it all, not much else will.

I am neither bothered nor surprised by this. In fact, I thought it probably was already in place after reading that this self-quarantine requirement was under consideration.

The Texas Highway Patrol and the sheriffs’ departments had officers at most of the entry points into Texas from Louisiana for a few weeks after Mardi Gras. I live in a TX/LA border county. The city had a notice on the marquee at the civic center notifying persons from Louisiana that they should self-isolate for 14 days.

The venegeful Dems are trying to make President Trump look bad and blame him for the high unemployment and slower recovery. Individual stats from each state should tell a different narrative.

What kind of papers do you need to show? A paper showing that I don’t have the Wanton cootie? My daughter lives on western NY. I can’t visit her?

You can. You just have to check in first with the comrades assigned by head comrade Cuomo. Then you have to stay in quarantine for 14 days before you can go anywhere or leave again. The King has spoken don’t you know.

I’m a native New Yorker that owns several small businesses here. The amount of moving trucks I see on a daily basis for the past month or two is unbelievable. Not ONE was moving someone in. Every one was moving someone out. This guy simply doesn’t get it. NO ONE is coming here voluntarily right now. He’s adding gasoline to an already raging fire.

Oh, here’s something that will cheer all y’all up: a Pantifa creep opens a driver’s door to drag him out — and it turns out to be a REALLY bad idea:

It shouldn’t be long now until my governor in New Jersey follows suit. His idea of governing is to wait and see what Cuomo does first. Such a loser. I would have more respect for him if he did something on his own. Even if I disagreed. But Murphy’s a mutt. A follower not a leader.

Well it just turns out I’m not going to New York, not with the crime wave in NYC, not with the ridiculously high taxes, not with little girls like AOC being given major positions of responsibility in the government. No loss on my part!

Read the book. Makes the connection with current events even stronger. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, too–very close to the “cancel culture” and rise of progzi speech and publication “codes” that eliminate all alternate views of everything.

Presumably LA is on it since we partied through Mardi Gras like it was 1999, but we crushed the curve, so no greater (proly less) danger to NY than NY is to us.

  43. So let me get this straight, New York deaths are dropping and the National Review is saying it is the example of a well run government, yet it is blocking refuges for oppressive red states from seeking asylum. Aren’t there any pictures of mothers carrying their child across from Pennsylvania to seek a new life in New York.

I am in a hotel. 2 hours south of the border… PA is bad enough,, the hotel is crazy… you cannot sit and have your little continental breakfast… trying to read up on constitutional rights.. My son in law says there should be no problem where we cross near Hancock, NY… It pains me to admit I am scared about being asked for contact information… We have driven for 2 days to get here, and to see his family. Not for two weeks, but three days. That is all the time we have.

Steve Scalise: Last week Cuomo shamelessly tried to blame nursing home staff for the thousands of deaths his own orders caused by putting out a phony report with shady data.

    Republicans in Congress exposed him.

This isn’t over – we won’t stop until he’s held accountable.

No problem. Just get a brick and a BLM tee-shirt and tell them you’re in town to do a little shopping/protesting and voila, they’ll give you the key to the city.

Now David Dinkins can slip away in peace knowing that DeBlassio will capture the distinction as NYC’s worst mayor. Keep up the good work NYC you’ve almost achieved Mogadishu on the Hudson.
