Fear and Panic for A Purpose – The Coronavirus Evolves Into “The Blue Plague”…

The “Blue Plague” is an intentional effort by various interests to create fear-porn amid the American population by intentionally hyping a mass hysteria about the coronavirus.  In many ways the Blue Plague is exponentially more dangerous than COVID-19 itself.

Earlier today, The New York Times became the epicenter of the Blue Plague by stating people in hospitals throughout the city were dying, as desperately under-prepared and under-equipped doctors and nurses could not find ventilators for thousands of arriving patients in a state of panic.  This was/is incitement at its worst.

Blue doctors and Blue nurses, aligned with the political resistance efort, transmitted videos claiming desperate and dying patients, using the term “apocalyptic surge“…

[…]  hospitals are under siege. New York City’s hospitals run the gamut from prestigious teaching institutions catering to the elite to public hospitals providing care for some of the poorest communities in the nation. Regardless of whom they serve, few have been spared the impact of the pandemic: A flood of sick and fearful New Yorkers has besieged emergency rooms across the city.

[…] At least two city hospitals have filled up their morgues, and city officials anticipated the rest would reach capacity by the end of this week, according to the briefing. The state requested 85 refrigerated trailers from FEMA for mortuary services, along with staff, the briefing said.  (link)

Of course, all of the emphasis is false, everyone is getting treated, and so far the pandemic has created no more of a crisis than a high-flu season. However, the panic such fear-porn creates can deliver a self-fulfilling outcome. Immediately, the downstream media, specifically CNN, take the script and begin amplifying the panic story-line.

This unfortunate gross-media manipulation is exactly what caused task force member Dr. Birx to step to the microphones today and state the activity on the ground does not match the fear-porn models that media are hyping.  WATCH:

No excuse, Cuomo. Texas and New York state are getting more hydroxychloroquine for free. Probably enough to treat half the country. Will treat every single person already identified as CV19 positive with plenty to spare. Seriously, get out of the patients’ way.

I hate reading and hearing the wishy-washy descriptors of hydroxychloroquine like “promising” “potential” “exploratory” etc…
I know for a FACT that the Veterans Administration hospital in New Orleans, who received the first COVID-19 patient in Louisiana, and is treating dozens of them now, HAS BEEN USING HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE and Azithromyacin (Z-pack) as THE treatment for COVID-19 for WEEKS! Those who either have an interest in perpetuating the hype, or are unaware of how FEAR is being used as a weapon to drive millions of Americans into government dependency (the #1 goal of the demonRATS) are guilty, complacent, and irresponsible for not stating how VERY effective those established, safe, and cheap drugs are.

Fauci seems to have some pet drugs that are being used in trials. He is being a bit protective of them and the studies.

He should not be Dr. No when there are sick patients and a cheap — in this case, free — drug available that can be used off label in combination with another drug that is on label. Medicine will have to roll along and leave Dr. Fauci’s reputation as roadkill.

  2. The hypocrisy that is evident on every level with the Chi Com Flu is mind boggling. Although I am a New Yorker in the “high risk” group I have tried to go about my life with as few changes as possible. Normally I am a germophobe anyway and the community where we live is spread out with one acre plots.
From Day One I have refused to be frightened or panicked by this flu, anymore than I normally am about getting sick from anything. I have always believed this whole fiasco to be another giant hoax.
Everything just fit into place too conveniently. Biggest tell of all- the timing when Impeachment didn’t work and our President Trump proved to be impervious to the Dirty Dems machinations.

Hypocrites like Cuomo and the other Commies claim to care so much about every single life, except aborted babies. They impose a ban on healthy sanitary plastic bags at the height of the epidemic, forcing people to use reusable or paper bags more likely to hold bacteria.

Meanwhile, there is already a horrible, gruesome epidemic that has been going on in the NY / CT region for years and that is LYME’S DISEASE. The disease can have horrible, life threatening effects on people and animals. Many people die from this disease or its after effects every year, including my own mother. Yet there is no vaccine or any real sense of urgency to do something.

When things calm down a bit, maybe even after our President gets re-elected, there must be a reckoning with these evil, Satanic, baby killing criminals who came within inches of destroying our great Republic.

The Hospital worker on the street interview looked entirely staged as he claimed the ER situation was worse than 9 -11. The news from Italy was also bad with claims of 50+ Italian health workers, including many doctors, now dead from the disease. The first casualty of this Pandemic was truth.

I had a deer tick disease that my doctor refused to call lyme disease (had the bullseye and everything else) because our good friends the CDC said there was not lyme disease in KY. I did talk my doctor in treating me like I had it, but I did suffer through 2 years of stiff and aching joints, and 9 months of prednisone cause I had reoccurring bouts of fluid in my lungs. Since moving to CT, my wife has already had Lyme Disease twice. She is always outdoors walking through our woods or working in her garden. She now never ventures outside unless she is protected with her clothing. When she returns to go inside, I do a tick check on her. She seems to be a magnet for them as it is not uncommon for me to find at least three on her.

I’ve been more fortunate. I’ve had two tick bites (that I know of) and then removed and retained the ticks before they had become engorged. As a precaution, my doctor prescribed the antibiotic (don’t remember its name) in a couple of large doses. Unfortunately the tick populations seem to be getting worse. And with this very mild winter I suppose it will be another bad season.

For years, many doctors regarded Lyme Disease to be a myth and those claiming to suffer from it as hypochondriacs. Dr. Joseph Joseph (actual name) is regarded as an expert in Lyme Disease. He is located in Western Pennsylvania. His studies reveal that beyond the deer tick, there are at least 70 other vectors of the disease, including mosquito bites. Lyme Disease is a seriously debilitating condition if not diagnosed and treated very early.

My vet has a vaccine for dogs (not sure about cats) but it is my understanding that research on developing a vaccine for humans was discontinued.
I am trying to do some research when I have time into what happened and why the CDC and other Govt health agencies refuse to take Lyme’s seriously.
As you know- it is a nightmare once you get it. My sister had it over 10 years ago and every so often she still develops symptoms of fatigue, muscle and bone pain, etc. When she goes for a blood test, the Lyme’s still shows up and she has to go on a round of antibiotics.
In many ways, LD is worse than than the Chi-Com Flu. I don’t think you can develop immunity and there is no vaccine.

This is pure madness. A tidal wave of unemployment applications washed ashore last Friday, and the force of that tsunami was blunted only by the fact that the overloaded email and web systems of the state governments couldn’t keep up, and many are still filing this week. This is only the start if this is not stopped dead in its tracks within a week, 2 max. People and businesses will start defaulting like mad on all kinds of obligations, and those cascading defaults will trigger more defaults under loan covenants, people have no idea how this all works. The economy collapsing and the consequent collapse of society as we know it is the real enemy, not this virus. The Fed can’t print enough to fill the hole. Somewhere In China someone raises a glass and says, “hey we never even had to fire a single shot. Nice work.”

I asked both of them if their hospitals were crowded and busy and they said no, not at all but it could happen any minute.

They said they had to be prepared for a rush of patients that could happen “any minute”.

It seems like we are being asked to stay poised and alert for “something that could happen any minute” and I think most of us are tiring of this.

With the PANIC, NY Governor Cuomo helped fan the flames so now, he has decided that NY State Budget will go through him…a law just passed a few months ago allows him to spend every penny as he sees fit:

“It would be done by the Division of the Budget,” he continued. “I don’t believe the legislature is going to want to come up here every quarter and go through numbers. At this rate, with the spread of the virus, I don’t even know that it would be responsible to ask for a convening of the legislature.”

The Empire State has now been hit with 385 deaths from the disease, among 37,258 cases, with the worst still weeks away, officials project.

NY was lucky they put through this measure last year…I can you imagine if they had to decide on spending together…wonder how California and Illinois will deal withtheir CATASTROPHIC BUDGETS?

NYU Medical is part of a series of hospitals that consolidated after NY State cloased down hundreds of hospitals statewide in 2015 and 2016…like other states dealing with the effects of Obamacare, NY State decided it was best to close these neighborhood non profit hospitals and instead invest in managed care networks…

New York Governor Cuomo said these closures would save the state money to invest in other areas like technology.

NY Governor also passed on buying 16k ventilators as buying them would be unnecessary.

In other words, NY is hospital beds because Obamacare bankrupted hospitals and the state refused to backstop them in the name of public health…if you add Covid-19 with the Flu, you’re looking at a pretty bad Flu Season…thankfully, flu season is ending nationwide as allergy season takes over.

      • Publius2016, it sounds like growltigger’s cousin is being worked so hard because NY state cut back on the necessary medical people and many other medical devices that would make a nurses job easier.

Is it possible that her patients are sicker because they can not get medical devices like ventilators which make them ” go down hill faster”.

And I do not know what is normal for NY State but three patients for each intensive care nurse is what is normal for Colorado.

        Like

        • Yes it is the normal load for the ICU but these are floors. The 1st night the floor transitioned to COVID-19 they transferred 3 patients up to the unit since then it’s been at least 1/night. Two nurses now have COVID-19 leaving them short handed with sicker patients than normal.

          Like

          • I understand the frustration.

When my grand daughter was in Denver Childrens Hospital each of the nurses on the floor cared for 3 patients.

On night her nurse was a little stressed and said that she had been assigned 3 babies to care for who did not have any family members in the room to help.

The age of the child and having a parent or family member in the room to help care for the child made a lot of difference on the care load for the nurse and this nurse was very busy that night.

Most of the time the children had a parent to help but not this night and for some reason this nurse was assigned 3 babies who were harder to care for because they can not do anything for themselves.

The sicker and more helpless the patient is the more stress for the nurses.

The nurses your cousin works with are also probably coming into work day after day not knowing what they will face on their shifts and the unexpected aspect might add to their stress.

Hopefully help will be on the way for them.

I posted because I think of the community as friends and I was sharing how hard it is to make sense of what I know from my cousin & what I read. I am bringing my daughter home from NYC tomorrow. She has quarantined in her apt 14 days and she will have to do the same when she gets here but with what my cousin was telling me & the case number trajectory I couldn’t leave her there any longer. So it’s a very real issue to me.
I know her very well since her dad was like my brother, I am an only child.
My husband & I tutored her through college chemistry/organic, pharmy etc. & helped in nursing school. We were very proud when after graduation she was accepted to a special program for new graduates at NYU. The nurses rotate through several units and then work on step down or unit floors. After she had worked there two years she applied to and was accepted as Nurse Practitioner student. She works full time and takes classes part time. Her floor which is not a unit was the first floor to be transformed to a COVID-19 floor but she said the other floors were transitioning by the end of that week. You are correct 3 patients is a lighter case # for a subacute floor. That was her point. If you want bed numbers at NYU that would be a google search. I believe there are several separate building that constitute NYU Medical. Your questions would be interesting but I am a family member not a reporter and she texts on breaks. My role is to listen and be supportive.

All the reasons mentioned for NYC are true. The subways where so many people are cheek & jowl. All of the closeness on the streets at rush hour. A population that does a lot communally at restaurants, theaters, bars etc. Tourists & immigrants newly come or visiting home & returning.. The long term poor management where preparedness was sacrificed for green energy projects that failed. An arrogant & stupid mayor, a CDC that was asleep at the wheel unprepared & uninterested in seasonal virus prevention and containment.
I believe the Country will be the better for this experience because inadequacies have been exposed at the CDC, the FDA and in many states. POTUS is remaking the Nation’s disaster response and the supply chain for essential items & drugs will be returning to America.

Not really. It has probably been around for at least one flu season and maybe more.

        https://www.med.unc.edu/orfeome/files/2018/03/a-sars-like-cluster-of-circulating-bat-coronaviruses-shows-potential-for-human-emergence.pdf

As this study suggests, Chinese bat coronavirus potential to jump to humans has been known for at least five years. So odds are it has already, perhaps for a long time now. The hoax is not whether the virus is real, but whether it is “novel”, and whether is has been a part of the spectrum of flu-like illness since before this season.

So to create a pandemic, no bioweapon is really required, which would be hard to cover up. Just have a catalog of viruses that show signs of potential human emergence (which is what viruses do and have always done – jump back and forth among host species), then when one emerges, keep quiet about it while it invisibly blends in with the rest of the seasonal flu-like illness spectrum, quietly develop the testing and treatment and have it “miraculously” ready to go, then publicly declare the emergence of a “novel” virus at your convenience, when you need a crisis in order to grab power. Then have China put on an apocalyptic Danse Macabre for a month to sell the “pandemic” and you have a tailor-made crisis. All from a virus that has been part of the normal flu season far in advance of it’s supposed “discovery”.

So no, it is not a “serious threat”, any more than the normal flu season is a serious threat. The virus is real enough. The pandemic is a transparent hoax.

But I’ll disagree that it’s as serious as the flu. Based on everything I’ve read — which is a lot, including statistics, more cases tend to fall into the asympotmatic/mild/moderate range that the flu, and very few (literally almost none) young people are impacted.

      This is my take:

      There is a real crisis.

There is also a real and ongoing effort to create a panic for political profit.

Nurses, as a class, are a perfect example of these two events playing out in the media. Rather than being portrayed as heroes or as displaying America at its best, the media portrays nurses as victims… they’re not getting enough PPE, they’re writing their wills, etc. All the stories about nurses in the MSM have an agenda and that agenda exposes the “hoax” portion of this very real emergency.

Why can’t they just give it a rest and we can all come together so we can beat this thing without the hate? But I remember after 911 it didn’t take long for the left to reverse course and start hammering Bush…who had a monster of a problem on his hands – just like President Trump does now.

Could well be that NYU was the hospital of first choice for many so they got an above average share of those who got infected.

The answer is to see if there is CREDIBLE anecdotal evidence of the same situation (as described by your cousin) at the other hospitals in the area. If so how many patients are in that “critical” condition.

Two years ago EIGHTY THOUSAND DIED in the US from flu, mainly from unique H3N2 — but no panic

CDC: 80,000 people died of flu last winter in U.S., highest death toll in 40 years
    September 26, 2018

NEW YORK — An estimated 80,000 Americans died of flu and its complications last winter — the disease’s highest death toll in at least four decades.

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Robert Redfield, revealed the total in an interview Tuesday night with The Associated Press.

Flu experts knew it was a very bad season, but at least one found size of the estimate surprising.

In recent years, flu-related deaths have ranged from about 12,000 to — in the worst year — 56,000, according to the CDC.

‘The problem child of seasonal flu’: Beware this winter’s virus

    By Helen Branswell @HelenBranswell

    January 8, 2018

People in public health hate H3N2 flu seasons, like the one gripping most of North America right now. So do folks who work in hospitals and in the care facilities that look after the elderly.

To put it flatly, H3N2 is the problem child of seasonal flu.

It causes more deaths than the other influenza A virus, H1N1, as well as flu B viruses. It’s a quirky virus that seems, at every turn, to misbehave and make life miserable for the people who contract it, the scientists trying to keep an eye on it, and the drug companies struggling to produce an effective vaccine against it.

“H3 viruses dwarf the contribution of H1 to overall epidemic burden [of influenza] in terms of hospitalizations, care facility outbreaks, deaths. I think uniformly in public health we dread H3N2 epidemics over and above those due to H1N1,” said flu expert Dr. Danuta Skowronski, an epidemiologist with the British Columbia Center for Disease Control.

So why is H3N2 such a bad actor? Here are a few reasons why.

    MUCH MORE — fascinating stuff:

    https://www.statnews.com/2018/01/08/flu-virus-h3n2/

Summary of the 2017-2018 Influenza Season

What flu viruses circulated during the 2017-2018 season?

Influenza A(H3N2) viruses predominated overall during the 2017-2018 season. However, influenza B viruses became more commonly reported than influenza A viruses in early March 2018 through May 2018.

This means the flu vaccine reduced a person’s overall risk of having to seek medical care at a doctor’s office for flu illness by 40%.

Protection by virus type and subtype was: 25% against A(H3N2), 65% against A(H1N1) and 49% against influenza B viruses.

A virus was released in China, either through a level 4 lab leak or an animal from said lab being sold to a wet market. China knew, well in advance that a large population was exposed, but saw an opportunity to spread the virus throughout the world and blame the US. This gave China the ability to diminish Trump for his hard line tariffs AND, knowing the American left would pile on, help them get rid of the biggest thorn in their side in decades. The virus was also an opportunity for the American left: cause a panic within a population that has been educated to be frightened, and box Trump into a “quarantine”, destroy the red-hot Trump economy and force him into a massive, Obama-like Porkulous III (parts a, b and c) redistribution scam, just to keep hard-pressed Americans floating, while the left keeps the panic blazing away. Wealth lost, jobs lost, families destroyed. .

I don’t think it was so much planned by either side, but it was a golden opportunity for both China and the left…China to show that the US was at the mercy of Chinese pharmaceutical companies and the left to panic the population into giving up over 240 years of rights in 3 short weeks, while mortgaging their children’s futures for Pelosi Pork.

A well informed, American population would see right through this, the new, leftist-educated American population…not so much. The greatest country that God ever smiled on, run by the biggest morons that money can buy.

It seems fitting, “the blue plague”.
Because the waters of the ocean are blue and there is a man standing in the middle of the once blue waters. The waters have turned grey and choppy and the wind is whipping my hair over my eyes and I’m wet and I can’t see…
    but I DO see!
I see the man wrapped in Silence, wrapped in Peace, wrapped in Love and even though He whispers, I can hear Him say, “Fear not, my child.”
“Stand with Me, for where I am standing there is only peace, where I am standing there is power over fear.
Stand with me, I am the Calm. Cleave to Me. Pray to Me and your prayers will be multiplied for this Storm does not worry Me, and as you cling to me at this time, I will bless your efforts exceedingly.
Go to the quiet place and pray.
Seek Me with your whole heart and call upon me.
I am the Alpha and Omega.
I knew this Storm would come. It does not surprise me.
I will scatter the shallow seeds but those who pray and stand with Me, shall know Me more than ever before. This is a unique time in history and my blessings will flow on those who seek Me.”

“This storm will not touch my church in China or Iran, not a hair on their head will be harmed. There is a great change coming.
Do not fear and do not leave my side.
You will see justice done around the world.
Be the light. Be the physical and spiritual help that you can be.
My mantle is on this President and his Vice President. The voices speaking against them will be ashamed and will be judged.”
Thus says the Word of God.
(The prophecy about China and Iran and the help that will come out of Israel to bless the world. The mantle that is on the President and the Vice-President and the complete bringing down of the Democratic party and much of the media was a prophecy I heard today from a woman called Amanda Grace.)
It has been echoed by other prophets but I wouldn’t dare to say that I am a prophet; rather, I am sharing the words of His Prophets. I only share the Words of our Lord.
Praise Him while He is near!

Daily numbers are meaningless. Trends tell us more.

Washington has averaged about 10% for the last week, and was at 4% yesterday. Today it was 24%. A lot of today’s new cases probably didn’t get processed yesterday; when averaged the last two days comes out to 14%. Washington local epidemic has likely passed its peak.

Massachusetts has had 49%, 59%, and 32% spikes the last three days after averaging 20-25% per day for the week prior. The underlying cause was a huge increase in processed tests. It’s will likely drop to mid or low 20s once the test surge has ended

New York’s been averaging 20% over the last three days, and has been around that four of the last six. The two days that number was above 35% probably reflected increased testing.

Italy’s rates have also begun to slow. New cases have not passed 10% for four days and have not passed 15% since March 20th. Italy is almost certainly past its peak. Which is why the media has begun shifting focus to Spain, which is probably peaking now.

In the US only about 10% of those tested have tested positive. Of those, only 10% have died. Those numbers have been consistent since this the beginning.

I did not mean to imply 10% of US confirmed cases have died. Typo.

Massachusetts (reports total tests given, other available state and national figures are similar):

          23,612 Total tests (100%)
          2,417 Total positive tests (10.2%)
25 Deaths (1.03 % of total positive tests)

That means 0.10% of those tested have died. If we consider that only those with severe symptoms or those having close contact with a confirmed case are tested, and that some mild or asymptomatic cases are not tested at all, the number is even lower.

          Thanks for catching that.
