I don’t care how long Volker has known Joe Biden. He is intentionally blind to the quality, or lack of quality, of his character and intellect.
How can he sit there and say there is no possibility that Biden was influenced by Hunter’s ties and financial compensation from Burisma, “simply because I have known Joe Biden for a long time,..”?

Maybe he just did us all a favor and turned the democrat primaries on their head. OK, so he made Joe out to be a good guy but a very stupid good guy if he is one.

Can’t avoid the video evidence and Hunter boarding Air Force 2, when Joe was headed to the Ukraine and China.

Joe’s replay video, audio and photo resume for this campaign season is not looking so good.
      Forgets where he is.
      100 clips for his AR-15
      Ukraine Video
      Pictures of Hunter on AF2
Forgets he was VP for Obama
      etc. etc. etc.

  9. My questioning (hypothetical!) of Ambassador Volker would be:
Me: Amb. Volker, is corruption, either in the US or in Ukraine, a domestic political matter?
AV: I’m not sure I know what you’re referring to, but yes, of course, it’s a political matter. And as we’ve seen, President Z won 73% of the Ukrainian vote for his promises to fight corruption.
Me: But, is corruption also an important matter when assessing the national security of Ukraine, the US, or that of any other nation where it exists?
    AV: Precisely!
M: So, when Jennifer Williams said this morning that she didn’t think it proper or appropriate for the President of the United States to discuss a domestic political matter during his phone conversation with Pres. Z, would you agree with her assessment, now that you’ve just answered that fighting corruption is indeed both a domestic political matter as well as an important national security issue?
AV: If you’re asking me whether fighting corruption is an important national security issue, I’d say yes. I’d go even further by saying it’s an important domestic political matter, precisely because of its national security ramifications.

    Me: Thank you, Ambassador.
(The above dialogue was a parody, and never occurred, unless it occurs after this writing).

You this makes sense in it’s own way. Embassies have groups of CIA agents assigned to each location. So what would be easier, for the Chairman of the Intelligence Community than to call upon members of his own community to bring forward spy’s with fabricated testimony.

Realizing of course that the AG is now investigating this same community for corruption.

    • Nor was one ever needed. The Ukranian President, a former comedian, won by a landslide on a promise to end corruption. (Much as Trump did.) Therefore, he needed no “prompting” to begin many investigations, as he has already done. Likewise, it was perfectly proper for Trump to discuss a matter, which is the specific subject of a ratified law enforcement cooperation treaty between the two countries.

So … why are these Congressmen running scared? Because they are guilty, too!

Until 2016, “the POTUS had your back.” That’s why Biden could laugh and crack jokes, and say, “call him.” Today, two Presidents are against them, and law enforcement authorities in both nations are working together.

    Volker Opening Statement:

“In the one in-person meeting I had with Giuliani on July 19, Giuliani raised and I rejected the conspiracy theory that Vice President Biden would have been influenced in his duties as VP by money paid to his son.”

So thats kind of a strawman argument. Its not the money being paid to Hunter that we are saying influenced the VP, its the investigation into his son’s company, and an interview of Hunter by the Ukraine prosecutor having just been scheduled, that influenced Biden’s duties as VP.

Dont read too much into it……It really doesn’t bother me when people refer to him as Trump. But i understand your concern about the perceived lack of respect. Think about it though… many refer to President Kennedy as JFK. When you look at it, many of the past Presidents as called by their last name. Maybe your gripe has to do with him being the current President. Funny.. But I think PT prefers Donald….especially when it comes to his friends.

“Just for the sake of knowing, I want to find out the details of the game of telephone that went from Vindman, to (probably) the whistleblower, to Schiff’s office, to the IC IG, and then to the media.”

So to this point why can’t AG Barr tell the NSA he wants every communication from Vindman for the past year? I thought he had complete access and authority to look under the sheets?

Maybe they needed a reason first before dialing up the NSA and I’m curious if we have any JAG’s here to comment if based on Vindman’s testimony today are there any grounds for the military to investigate??

Noticed allot of comments about lack of knowledge concerning Burisma by State Department witnesses. The really questionable aspect of those claims is that President Trump has made combatting Russian energy flow to the EU on of the cornerstones of his economic campaign against Russia. The some, if not allot, of the gas and oil flowing from Russia to points West as well as towards the Balkans has to go through the Ukraine.

How can State Department and NSC members not be aware if they “represent” the President.

Energy flow is a huge big money source, besides US Aid kickback in the Ukraine.
