The “Coup” Against a Sitting U.S. President Became Official on October 29th, 2019…

The word “coup” shifted to a new level of formalized meaning last week when members of the political resistance showed up to remove President Trump wearing military uniforms.

Not only did U.S. military leadership remain silent to the optics and purpose, but in the testimony of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman he admits to giving instructions to ignore the instructions from a sitting United States President.

In the absence of push-back from the Joint Chiefs, from this moment forth, the impression is tacit U.S. military support for the Vindman objective.

Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, a National Security Council official, testified before congressional committees conducting an impeachment inquiry on October 29, wearing a full military uniform.

To date there has been no visible comment from U.S. military sanctioning Lt. Col. Vindman for his decision; or correcting the impression represented by Vindman’s military appearance.  The willful blindness is concerning, but it gets much worse.

Beyond the debate about the optics of the “coup“, within the testimony of Lt. Col Vindman, the witness readily admits to understanding the officially established policy of the President of The United States (an agreement between President Trump and President Zelenskyy), and stunningly admits that two weeks later he was giving countermanding instructions to his Ukrainian counterpart to ignore President Trump’s policies.

The coup against President Donald Trump went from soft, to hard.  Consider…

The testimony from Lt. Col. Vindman is available here. [SCRIBD pdf below]

Borrowing from Roscoe B Davis, here are some highlights:

Representative John Ratcliffe begins deconstructing Lt. Col Vindman, while his arrogant attorneys begin trying to interfere with the questioning.

This next section is very interesting, and very important.

Congressman John Ratcliffe begins questioning Vindman from the perspective of an Article 92 violation, coupled with an Article 88 violation.  President Trump, is Lt. Col Vindman’s superior.  President Trump sets the foreign policy.

Two weeks after President Trump has established an agreement with Ukraine President Zelenskyy, and established the policy direction therein, Lt. Col. Vindman is now giving contrary instructions to the Ukranian government.  Vindman’s lawyer recognizes where the questioning is going and goes absolutely bananas:

  1. Did I miss the part where Vindman was asked.” Mr Vindman, who sets foreign policy?”.

And: “Mr Vindman, did your superiors think you had a valid complaint?”

Mr Vindman, if your superiors decided that there was “no there, there”, why did you go around and over their heads and directly to the office of Adam Schiff?

Vindman’s attitude about his conduct is breathtaking, especially to any of us who spent careers in the Army. He is the essence of what Code of Conduct training always warned us about. This guy needs to be tried under UCMJ.

Argeed! [W]indman is completely bogus, and his attempts to end-run his CiC are prosecutable under UCMJ…leading to a nice unpaid vacation in Leavenworth.

O’Brian said they were going to cut the dept. from 250 to 100 and recycle everyone back to their originals departments. But Vindman has no reason to be in the White House until July, 2020. That is outrageous.
Durham should be questioing him about leaking the PRESIDENT’S PHONE CALLS IN FRONT OF A GRAND JURY. SOON.

    • What makes me sick is nothing will happen to Vindman. If you’re a Dem there are no consequences anymore.

Absolutely. He clearly countermanded an order from the President of the United States. He needs to be arrested and court martialed, followed by loss of all military titles and benefits and either imprisoned or put before a firing squad. The latter because of the seriousness of what he did and the effect it might have on other members of the military who might try to countermand the President.

Is there any doubt the actions of the resisters is deliberate and knowing? Is there some way this could not mean that destruction of our country is their intention?

This was an absolutely outstanding article by Sundance. And it should be noted that one day after this article was published, Alex Salvi made the following statement on Twitter. ” NSA Robert O’Brien says Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a top witness in the House impeachment inquiry, will be removed from his post at the White House National Security Council.”

I’d say somebody at the top read Sundance’s article and agreed that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman had indeed stepped over the line! Kudos Sundance!!!

I would hate to go into combat with Vindman as my officer in charge. What a sad example of a high ranking military officer. He looks like the guy who gets beat up on the playground for his lunch money

Vindman has nowhere to go, nowhere to hide, he is exposed. Vindman broke the chain of command which is a punishable military offense. Vindman’s military superiors are the next to be revealed and exposed, by name and action, for ignoring their duty to remove this demonstrable traitor. Trump is grinding these swamp rats OUT OUT OUT. message to loudmouth lawyer….yes sir, we the people are going there, your threat of challenge is hollow, our duty to country is strong.

Vindman is a co-conspirator in the plot to bring down the President. It’s blatantly obvious. The question needs to be asked…has Vindman ever been affiliated with the CIA or any Intel Agency? He has the stink on him like Strzok.

plus he’s a bumbling idiot. When someone answer a question beginning with the word “so”, they are a leftist. It’s a common cultural tick we see in the Marxist University educated douchebags.

  14. Terra says:

One other part of his answer to Ratcliff stood out to me…Vindman says that the “Quo” was a WH visit….nothing to do with military aid…and the javelins aren’t part of the aid…that was separate from the aid!!! The uniform was used for the drama…like the “crying witness” for optics and I would take the uniform as a threat…giving the impression of a military coup seems like a really stupid thing to do for someone who claims they’re concerned about national security! Another part of his testimony that needs attention is who he told….the top of his chain of command is the President…anyone not assigned to that call or that information on that day including his brother isn’t in the chain. Proper clearance isn’t a guarantee of a need to know…and he clearly told people that had no reason to go to anyone outside of that room or his direct supervisors. One more point…these people forget that the President is the Commander in Chief…Top Law Enforcement Officer…THE TOP DOG, and he has access to absolutely everything at anytime. Their calls, texts and emails included, when he says things like “I caught the Swamp” or “it’s all coming out” believe it! He already saw it. And he can let them keep digging their own deep dark holes with every word. So many cocky dumb swamp dwellers….it’s hard to believe there are that many stupid people with so much sensitive information and tools that they didn’t think it could and would be used to catch their seditious slimy asses!

I was in the Marine Corps from 1988-1998; enlisted in the reserves and then a commissioned officer on active duty 1993-98, got out as a captain.

I see nothing at all wrong or improper with LtCol. Vindman appearing before Congress in uniform. He is an officer on active duty appearing before Congress on official business.

I DO, however, have a BIG problem with an officer who disobeys a lawful written order in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 92; uses contemptuous words towards the President (or any other elected official), a violation of Article 88.

General McChrystal was sacked by President Obama after contemptuous comments about Vice President Biden, referring to him as “Vice President Bite Me.” It goes without saying, Gen. McChrystal was a far more distinguished officer, and his offense far less, than this fatboy LtCol.

Somebody in the chain of command needs to prefer charges against LtCol. Vindman. I know I would if he worked for me.

So, my question is why is this man wearing his uniform when testifying, when he committed both Articles 92, 88, or facing charges of sedition and treasonous actions against his Commander and Chief and continues to draw a pension, he hasn’t been court martial or cooling his sorry ass in Leavenworth, Kansas prison cell?
