They already use drones based out of Ft Bliss and Ft Huachuca. Drones do not fix the situation because all they do is ID a new bunch of self-proclaimed refugees once they cross the border. Then the refugee laws kick into effect…and we all know the rest of that story. Nothing short of a real and manned physical barrier can fix the current situation until the immigration and refugee laws are fixed.

I have a number of colleagues who worked on CBP drone program. Every day they operated, despite their flight schedule and patrol areas having been publicized, they picked up a huge amount of people, drugs, and cash coming over the border. The drone program is excellent and a wonderful tool for enforcement.

The problem is what do you do with the people once they’re detained? As we can see, the legal system just releases them into the USA.

We need a wall to keep them from getting here in the first place, drones (and sensors, officers, and other capture mechanisms) to find the ones who do cross, and laws that allow us to rapidly deport illegal crossers. The border problem could easily be solved if Congress wanted to solve it.

  2. Dems will do the impeachment thing while Trump on overseas trip so that no one pays attention to it and instead all of the headlines are about impeachment. This is getting exceedingly disgusting to watch over and over again…I really cannot understand why anyone would vote Dem.

I’m sure many will think I’m harsh, mean, and even wrong for saying it, but the reason is that people who vote Dem are either uninformed, unintelligent, or mentally ill. I don’t say that lightly. We have to remember that a very small percentage of Americans actually read/hear/watch any news at all. Those that do are the minority of Americans and the majority of that minority get their news from the mainstream media. Half of all eligible voters don’t vote. In some ways that may be a blessing, but whichever side can motivate even 5% of that group to vote for their candidate will control what happens in 2020. The evidence is clear that a voter can either choose good or evil for America, yet so many will still fall for the evil side.

A few weeks ago, my FiOS fiber was cut by some construction work going on in the neighborhood. While we waited for the repair, we suffered for 24hrs with OTA TV, no internet and no phone.

There was ZERO informative material available via those non-cable channels. All of the news was pro-Dem side of the coin – the talking points. There was zero effort to offer any information as to why they were reporting a President Trump related piece of news, other than the Dem spin. Of course, the news was only on for a short while on those non-cable channels.. ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox.

If people are ONLY getting their news from the local channels, such as people who work and have kids with no time for seeking out more information… then they will not be informed.

I cannot believe how disconnected I felt for those 24hrs… it was like being in an information desert!

I have several highly educated and intelligent friends who are anti-Trump Dem voting liberals. They are self made millionaires, white older males, in oil and gas industry in Texas, live in Houston elite suburbs, wives go to tennis lessons at the nearly all-white country club while daughters go to private $60k/year elite universities. They are everything the Dems despise and want to erase from this Earth. But, the Dems want their votes first. And, they get it.

It has nothing to do with intelligence. It’s how people are wired, IMO. Some just bleed liberalism while others bleed conservatism. Facts don’t matter. It’s just how they feel.

Also, some people are more likely to become addicted to things (e.g. drugs, tv shows, etc.) than others. Or be more influenced by others, including commercials, ads, trends, and public/peer pressure. Marketing is a very powerful tool. Especially for those that follow trends or are easily addicted or influenced. It’s why people buy Nike over other brands or Coke over cheaper identical tasting colas. And, since our 24/7 mass media and daily talk show gauntlet, which has largely become a Democrat party marketing arm, is largely anti-Trump, these people are more likely to buy into the liberal message.

So, when I look at my liberal intelligent friends, I now also notice how they drive the latest cool cars, dress in the latest fashion, who’s wives all watch the “right” shows to watch, all have Apple watches and go to the trendiest clubs and restaurants. They are smart, but easily influenced.

Return the media to true news/ journalism, and I believe a large portion of today’s Democrat voters will switch to vote for more conservative candidates. Which is, I believe more in line with my friends true interests and core values (minus the external influence). It’s not that they got more intelligent, it’s that the marketing influence is removed.

Most here I believe, myself included, read along confirming that which we already know to be truth. We rearely comment but that doesn’t mean you aren’t 100% correct in your observations. I only want to add one important group to your list:

‘Selfish’. Selfish can be a good thing, in the ‘Atlas Shrugged’ context, or it can be a bad thing in the ‘beggar thy neighbor’ context. Lib’s mostly fit in the latter. “I want what he/she/they have, but I don’t want to WORK as hard as they did to get it”. So they vote for the government to ‘get it’ for them. Very selfish in the negative context.

Rotting Trash Piles Sky-High in LA, Attracting Rats and Raising Concerns of a New Epidemic
After reporting LA’s most notorious trash pile to the city’s 311 services hotline, the I-Team was told it could take up to 90 days before it’s cleaned up. An expert says there’s no time to waste

“Rat-infested piles of rotting garbage left uncollected by the city of Los Angeles, even after promises to clean it up, are fueling concerns about a new epidemic after last year’s record number of flea-borne typhus cases.

Even the city’s most notorious trash pile, located between downtown LA’s busy Fashion and Produce districts, continues to be a magnet for rats after it was cleaned up months ago. The rodents can carry typhus-infected fleas, which can spread the disease to humans through bacteria rubbed into the eyes or cuts and scrapes on the skin, resulting in severe flu-like symptoms.”

If the RNC is really interested in winning back the House, expanding control in the Senate and winning over more State Legislatures, they use this as hammer on social media and any media outlet that will replay the meaning of these types of votes. The Democrat Party wants to disenfranchise ALL voters and give control to NY and CA as well as few large metropolitan sanctuary areas. There are plenty of other messages and images that can be used to augment the message to show results of these votes; crime, literally crap in the streets, bankruptcy, money to illegals over citizens, et al.

When I was a kid we could fish, rollerblade, ride bikes, or just hang out after school, without a care in the world, in these beautiful park-like settings, with miles of trails, woods, lakes and streams at our disposal.

        Not anymore.

Police routinely cordon-off these trails to scour for gang victims, like they did last year when a friend suggested we take a walk.

Many of the recovered victims are missing heads and limbs. But the news very rarely reports any of these details. Residents hear what really goes on from witnesses and first responders.

Sovereign Immunity only attaches if the action taken is within the scope of employment. Breaking the law – by definition – CANNOT be within their scope of employment.

I have long thought that the country would never have fallen into the state it is now in if we did not have sovereign immunity; without it people would have to actually consider the consequences of their actions, with it they can get by with nearly anything.

Someone above asked how we change the people back to a more moral, decent, ethical, law-abiding people, even if all of the “official” stuff (hypothetically speaking) were corrected under this Administration. Consequences. For the fellow who crapped on the floor of the supermarket, to the snowflake who was astonished to be arrested for stealing a Pro-Life poster to the congresspersons who violate their oath to the city administrator of the smallest town/village/hamlet who unlawfully releases lawbreakers to go harm citizens, to the San Jose police chief who allowed egg-throwing with impunity. Society has to be the parent or there will never be any emotional maturation.

      Consequences. Natural consequences.

Good Morning Treepers. At times it can seem as though all is a lost cause and we must submit to an over-reaching, corrupt, central government that chips away our Natural rights on a daily basis. I would submit to you that there is hope…that States are exercising their sovereignty and defying oppressive, unconstitutional Federal legislation and administrative law…MSM will NOT report this progress. For what it’s worth, I’d like to share a letter I received from Mike Maharrey – one of the founders of the Ten Amendment Center (TAC) – an organization dedicated to restoring the Constitution and State sovereignty.

    Hi,

It’s easy to get discouraged out there. But month after month, we are seeing signs that the needle is moving in the right direction.

I recently had the opportunity to teach about nullification in the belly of the beast. Well, not THE beast, but one of the 50 little beasts. Columbus, Ohio to be exact. You could call it the “nullification road show.”

On March 6, I testified before the Ohio House Committee on Federalism at the invitation of Rep. John Becker. I covered the limited nature of the federal government, the meaning and purpose of the Tenth Amendment, nullification, and how to practically nullify federal acts through the anti-commandeering doctrine. I also spent about 35 minutes doing Q&A. That was — interesting — to say the least.

Here are a couple of takeaways – one negative and one positive.

    I’ll start with the negative.
Constitutional education in this country is abysmal. I shouldn’t have to stand in front of elected state officials and explain the Tenth Amendment and the anti-commandeering doctrine. This is basic information every American should be taught. Of course, a quick trip through any Facebook timeline quickly reveals this isn’t the case. Sadly, most constitutional arguments I see these days amount to “Well, this is the policy I like.”

    Government schools have failed.

    Now for the good news.
We’ve shifted the narrative and people are starting to learn about nullification.
I was invited to stand in front of state legislators and talk openly about nullification. I don’t think that would have happened three or four years ago. We have succeeded in making nullification, and more broadly the Tenth Amendment, an acceptable topic of conversation. We’ve mainstreamed it. When I started working for the TAC a little less than 10 years ago, the most common response to nullification was, “Oh. Racism.”

And the audience in Ohio was actually pretty receptive. In fact, one of the Democratic Party reps on the committee (who happens to be African-American) talked to me for about 10 minutes after my presentation because she is concerned about federal overreach into the state’s educational system. She said she feels like the feds are “putting the squeeze on us.”

This is a pretty significant step forward. As a supporter told me in an email, “Mike, you all are moving the needle. Keep up the good work.”

Your support helps us to do the work and move that needle. It is much appreciated!

I’ve always been a big fan of the tenth amendment and returning power to the states (assuming that power is simultaneously stripped from our FEdeRAL leviathan).

But I do wonder – would a state’s declaring itself an illegal-alien sanctuary fall under the tenth amendment?

Bad states like California and the one I live in, MA, could do bad things. I am by no means implying we should not do exactly what the Constitution says. I’m just wondering how we deal with the ramifications.

          Actually, there IS a clear, specific ‘carve out’ of Federal pre-emption, right there in the Federal Immigration law;
The law RECOGNISES thst States issue business licences; licencing contractors, beuticians, etc. AND, most importantly business TAX licences every legitimate business needs, in order to collect and pay sales tax.

Therefore, ANY State legislature COULD pass legislation authorising the State tax authority to enforce an administrative law that in order to operate a business, and qualify for a sales tax licence, the business MUST maintain e-verify documents on EVERY employee, available for inspection, at the location where the employee works.

Fines for failure to comply could finance the enforcement division, so A) it would be self-supporting, and B) the legislature couldn’t withold funding, a favorite tactic of legislatures.

This is how OSHA is operated. Additional advantage; since it is ADMINISTRATIVE law, the COURTS aren’t involved, at least not until fine is imposed, and paid and company appeals judgement 3 times.

Companies would avoid the hassle and expence, and cease hiring illegals. It COULD be done, but TRY getting YOUR state legislature to pass such a regulation!

You will encounter the same problem PDJT is encountrring with Congress; Uniparty at State level, doesn’t want legal immigration, any more than Congress does.

And, its NOT about votes for Dems, or cheap labor for Repubs; its about destroying our country.

Illegal immigrstion is being used as a weapon of war, by the enemies of a free society. Call it “forced diaspora”, in S. America they are using gang/cartels, in ME and Africa, Hillary/Obama/Bush created war and civil disorder to herd people like cattle, but the goal is the same, methods similar.

          Its INTENTIONAL. Occams razor.

That sanctuary state then becomes the Ellis Island for the nation: entry will occur there and migrations internally will not be prohibited, as the individual states do not have unique citizenship. The short answer is yes. States can be “illegal-alien sanctuaries.” Our Framers intended States to be sovereign with the intent that if “you” don’t agree/like the behavior of your State, then you can vote it out, nullify it, or move to another State.

Folks will disagree, but the Constitution enumerates naturalization to the Federal government and left immigration to the States. That said, States have the authority to protect themselves from other States…States can require and enforce strict “US citizen only” access to public funds/resources, purchase of real estate, and employment. Many won’t because they are addicted to Federal funds

The fruits of liberty are not universally liked. I loath the direction my State is going…which is why I will move to a more Constitutional State like ID, WY, SD, ND, etc. I will make less money…have less access to city amenities…but enjoy more freedom.

We the People were fed a load of crap in 1913 with the ratification of 16A…a huge power grab by the Feds…not to mention 17A and the creation of the FED. All of these activities negated the utility of the national census that established State representation and taxation.

So is this PT and AG Barr’s strategy?

Step 1 – Declass documents to prove the Russian Collusion was a fraud and a frame job from day one and the perpetrators knew it.

Step 2 – Declass documents to prove that the Dossier went knowingly, unverified up to the FISA Court in order to cover/justify earlier spying on PT and associates.

Step 3 – Now with Step 1 and 2 out there in the public for the American people to see that this was a coup, a fraud and a setup from day 1, the questions begin, why and what were they trying to hide?

So enter Dennis Montgomery and his 47 hard drives of over 600M pages of spying on Americans and who were the people who directed this “mission”? This coupled with a deep dive into the various contractors who had unfettered access to the NSA database up until Adm. Rodgers shut it down, should be ample proof that spying on Americans to gather information was done YEARS BEFORE PT was even a candidate for office.

This strategy IMO shows the American people just how deep and devious these people can be based on the extent the coup went to to try and take down a sitting President.

But more importantly it opens everyone’s eyes to why they had to go after PT to protect anyone from learning of their much earlier “sins”. It is step 3 that will lead to the ringleaders IMO.

My open question is, as AG Barr sees all of this corruption, does he also push to go back and look into U1 and the unclassified server/email issue?

IMHO – governments never get smaller. Corruption is merely a symptom. The problem is that the FBI is an unconstitutional organization, exercising powers NOT enumerated to the Federal government via administrative law (the Constitution is grounded in criminal and civil law only). So Barr must abolish his organization and thereby is position…don’t see it happening.

They know it will fail in the Senate, but that isn’t what they care about. They feel that if they can impeach the president (and the chances are extremely high that they’d have the votes in the House to do it), then even though he’d still be in office when the trial in the Senate fails, they’d still be able to use the label of “impeached president” on Trump in the 2020 election to defeat him. Given that most Americans are very uninformed when it comes to news, it could have a negative impact on POTUS. We here at CTH may love our president, but remember that most Americans are uninvolved and uninformed. We have a lot of hard work to do to make sure 2020 is successful for POTUS. The left and the Never Trumpers didn’t expect him to win in 2016. Now they know he can and are determined to make sure he doesn’t get a second term. The Never Trumpers want to insert a candidate to take votes from Trump so that, like Perot did to George HW Bush, it will allow the Dem candidate to win.

There are those who will claim this destroyed the Republicans with respect to Bill Clinton, yet those same people have totally ignored the vast difference between the two prevailing social environments. 90%+ of media, nearly 50% +/- of the voters, not a few powerful foreign governments and even a number of GOPe Republicans (publicly and privately) support the impeachment effort.

        2. State sovereignty. Do the States have the will to turn away Federal $, protect the rights of their citizens, and yank the leash of their Creature? “Barr also wants to understand the role of CIA confidential sources, or “assets,” that were cozied up next to Page and another former Trump campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos. Both were announced as Trump campaign members the same week in March 2016, and almost immediately began attracting attention from an interesting cast of characters associated with the agency long before the FBI counterintelligence investigation was launched that July.

The CIA has its own set of restrictions about the use of assets against Americans, and this deserves Durham’s focus as well. Former CIA Director John Brennan has commented on his belief in the sufficiency of FBI predication to investigate the Trump campaign but has said little about the CIA’s role in all of this. Durham will want to make sure that CIA asset activity didn’t somehow help create that predication. “

They can say he’s committed high crimes and since “high crimes” is not defined in the Constitution, the House can define it the way they choose. Then, all they need is the votes to finalize impeachment.

People better get ready because chances are very high that President Trump will be impeached by the House. While it’s doubtful the Senate would convict him in the following trial, he would still be labeled “impeached” which the Dems could and would use against him in the 2020 campaign. It would be up to us, as supporters of the president, to educate the majority of Americans that are uniformed so that we can win them over and get them to understand that the impeachment was politica.

Maybe they’d have a point if this story was written by white people based on stereotypes. But the fairy tale this movie is based on was written in the Middle East. The Arabian Nights tales are the original source material, and the Disney version actually takes out most of the real brutality.

In the book, the story of Aladdin is being told a powerful Sultan by his wife Shaharazad. She tells him a story every night to entertain him, in the hopes that he will decide not to cut off her head in the morning, like he has done to his former wives. The 1,001 nights are the number of nights she manages to entertain him enough to postpone her execution.

While Shaharazad was trying to keep her husband from killing herself and other women, the women in Europe were enjoying an age of chivalry where the Lords were expected to treat their ladies with dignity and respect. Comparing these two cultural norms isn’t stereotyping, it’s intellectual honesty.

Tell the real truth about 1001 and one Arabian Nights.

The so called “wife”, probably the 20th or 30th wife, of a brutal Sultan is trying to stay alive using her wits.

She tells a story each night leaving it with a cliffhanger hoping that her vicious husband will become tired and want to go to sleep before he cuts her head off and he will be so enchanted with her story that he will want to hear the ending the next day.

She is cleaver enough to stay alive for long enough that he finally spares her ( wow lucky her) and ALLOWS her to live out her natural life.

Disney is cleaning up the vicious, brutality of the life of females in the Muslim world.

Why did Trump hold a rally in this small Pennsylvania town?

If there was a reason President Donald Trump chose the small Pennsylvania town of Montoursville to hold a campaign rally, no one in the media is saying what it is.

In 1996, during the midst of Bill Clinton’s desperate drive to become president, 16 French club members from the Montoursville high school and five of their chaperones died in the crash of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island.

Although the phrase has been much abused, there is none better than “cover-up” to describe what followed. Like many initiatives the Clinton White House choreographed, this one was highly improvisational. Before it was through, with the CIA calling the shots and the FBI following its lead, the TWA 800 investigation would make several sharp course corrections.

To be sure, the great majority of those working the investigation had little or no idea it was being misdirected. Some who did harbor suspicions bravely resisted the misdirection, but they had almost nowhere to turn with their protests. Had there been a vigilant media to hear these individuals, or even a mature internet to share their objections, the truth would have surfaced, but it has not. At least not yet.

U.S. growth appears to be based “exclusively” on government, corporate and mortgage debt and the economy would have contracted if the United States had not added trillions in debt, Jeffrey Gundlach, chief executive of DoubleLine Capital, said in an investor webcast on Tuesday.

“Nominal GDP growth over the past five years would have been negative if U.S. public debt had not increased,” said Gundlach. “One thing everybody seems to miss when they look at these GDP numbers … they seem to not understand that the growth in the GDP … is really based exclusively on debt – government debt, also corporate debt and even now some growth in mortgage debt.”

Debt means somebody bought a good or service that had to be “manufactured” by somebody.

With respect to corporate debt, an interesting discussion to be had would be media proclaimed “troubling” accumulation of corporate debt vs media proclaimed “evil” stock buy backs. It seems if a company buys back its issued stock (i.e. debt) then there is a balancing effect that is not being discussed.

Beware Reuters (EU based) and Bloomberg (US Based) business media, definitely anti-US and pro-Globalist. They are especially pro-anything that runs counter to US First based decisions.

Looks like the democrats see the writing on the wall and will let old sleepy Joe take the beating next year. Recent general polling all put Biden atop the heap at about 40% preferral rate. Next is Bernie and his army of uccupybots at around 20%. Pocahantas and HeelsUpHarris each about 10%. Bringing up the rear echelon of somebodies are Buttigigi, Beto, and Booker each about 5%. The other 17 nobodies altogether total only about 5% support.
Expect the democrat socialists in politics and the media to continue harassing the president throughout the campaign season and focus on trying to hold on to the House and take control of the Senate. They will succeed in annoying Trump and the Deplorables for the next year and a half but they will fail in their dream of maintaining or gaining power in Washington, DC.

Trump is the most law-abiding president ever!

The Left in America hates, loathes, and despises President Trump. Why? Because he is not one of them, and he won.

Sounds like Trump knows Dems will go impeachment route.

Trump days you can’t go down two tracks. Fix problems or investigate.

Trump said he told Pelosi/Schumer he really wants to do infrastructure…and they need to get these investigations out of the way. I take that to mean he’s not going to deal with them on both tracks.

He’s again making the case no collusion, no obstruction. He’s calling what they are doing now abuse.

Stressed again we’ll do this one track at a time.

      Fox interprets it that way.

Dems think they can do two tracks…
Work with Trump on infrastructure and investigate and abuse Trump at same time.

      Trump says….no.

One track at a time. Get investigations done….end it.

Just watched POTUS on tv. I think he wants the people to call congress and demand a stop to the investigations. They’re blocking our country from making more progress. Make those calls!!
