Judicial Watch Uncovers Documents Showing Bruce Ohr Continued as Intermediary Between Christopher Steele and Robert Mueller’s Team…

Judicial Watch has received documents from a previous FOIA request to the DOJ which highlight the extent of the communication between DOJ official Bruce Ohr and the FBI.

While there was prior knowledge of the role of Ohr as an FBI intermediary between Fusion-GPS, Chris Steele and the FBI during the original counterintelligence investigation, the new documents show Ohr continued in his role well into Mueller’s appointment.

In essence, after the FBI claimed to have broken off formal use of Chris Steele; and long after Robert Mueller took over the investigation; Ohr remained an intermediary between Chris Steele and Robert Mueller’s special counsel team.

Obviously this begs the question: if the special counsel was simply investigating the truth of the dossier, why would Robert Mueller want/need an intermediary as opposed to directly being in contact with, and questioning, the dossier author directly?

(Washington, DC)Judicial Watch announced today it received 339 pages of heavily redacted records from the U.S. Department of Justice which reveal that former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr remained in regular contact with former British spy and Fusion GPS contractor Christopher Steele after Steele was terminated by the FBI in November 2016 for revealing to the media his position as an FBI confidential informant.

The records show that Ohr served as a go-between for Steele by passing along information to “his colleagues” on matters relating to Steele’s activities. Ohr also set up meetings with Steele, regularly talked to him on the telephone and provided him assistance in dealing with situations Steele was confronting with the media.

[…]  The documents also show that Nellie Ohr sent numerous emails and reports to Bruce Ohr and other Justice Department officials on Russia issues.

“These smoking gun documents show that Christopher Steele, a Hillary Clinton operative and anti-Trump foreign national, secretly worked hand-in-glove with the Justice Department on its illicit targeting of President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“These documents leave no doubt that for more than a year after the FBI fired Christopher Steele for leaking, and for some 10 months after Donald Trump was sworn in as president, Bruce Ohr continued to act as a go-between for Steele with the FBI and Justice Department. The anti-Trump Russia investigation, now run by Robert Mueller, has been thoroughly compromised by this insider corruption.”  (read more)

Tom Fitton’s likely accurate (highlighted) statement above; showcasing a compromised intent;  would explain why Mueller’s team would need an intermediary.

Nellie Ohr and Chris Steele were the authors of the Clinton-financed dossier.  The dossier was the primary evidence for the entire corrupt investigative enterprise.  The dossier is the lynch-pin of evidence that validated the Title-1 FISA warrant used against Carter Page and all campaign officials therein.

As a direct result of the origination, Mueller’s later mandate from Rosenstein is based on that dossier. As a result, inside that dynamic there is a motive for Mueller’s team to stay away from discovering anything that might invalidate the dossier if they wanted to: (a) continue the appearance of legality for the prior exploitation; and (b) continue extending the investigation that is dependent on the dossier.

If things went sideways, direct contact with the central witness and dossier author removes plausible deniability.  Indirect contact, via an intermediary (Bruce Ohr), allows retention of plausible deniability and continuance of dossier use.

The document pdf file is here.  CTH is reviewing the information overnight tonight.

ADD: This is the same reason why Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson are not on the witness list of people and entities announced by House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler.

FYI, I haven’t gone through the entire release yet, but if you do….. Please look for the communication between government officials and *Nellie* Ohr.

What they intended was to hide that all the election interference was lead by the Hussein white house and politicians in both parties and the numerous three letter agencies.

It all goes back to Hussein, Brennan, allies and the HRC and her gang.

Nellie Ohr and Bruce Ohr most likely are far worse than the Rosenberg’s ever were.

          (1) No-one spends that much time gathering information for free. She has to be a government contracted employee.

          (2) Page 22 is interesting. Whose phone call records? Bruce or Nellie? Contact with Rod Rosenstein December 13, 2016…. before inauguration.

          (3) This means Nellie Ohr was working for Fusion-GPS (on the Steele dossier stuff) and the U.S. DOJ (on other Russian matters) at the same time.

        C. Steele then regurgitating / feeding that dossier info directly back to FGPS (?) who gives it to the FBI.
+ NO also gives supplementary/same info to her husband (who works for DOJ ?). who then feeds it to FBI. Who the use it to corroborate Steele info ???

        I am confused…same info…but from (supposedly) two sources ? Why ?

Apart from her husband , I did not read that NO was in direct contact with any other gov official ?

Also…Bruce is either a. complete dupe/idiot who was fooled by his wife or b. up to his neck in this scam against Trump team.
I suspect the latter. I choose to believe that someone so high up in the DOJ could not be so stupid as to not see the conflict on interests he had in his actions and the bias surrounding him from Strok/ Page etc.

Also….one thing bugs me..I keep reading that Nellie was/is a CIA employee. But I have never seen this speculation proven.

That this is ALL they do, while they are terrible at actual governance and policy, and thus don’t even bother with governance and policy at this point.

Any chance that Rosenstein is actually a complete moron, and moronically gullible, when it comes to actual police and justice work (assessing the validity of evidence, testing crime theories, and so forth)? But that all of Rosenstein’s “genius” goes toward bureaucratic scheming? That’s his natural talent, all he knows how to do, and thus all that he does do?

If so, maybe he actually believed the stupid dossier tripe and then, like an evil retarded but conniving beaver, put his head down and gnawed, gnawed away at wood?

Bruce Ohr was director of the Criminal Division at the DOJ. Andrew Weissmann worked at the Criminal Division while he was there, before he left to the Special Counsel. Very more than likely Weissmann was appointed to be lead attorney for Mueller because of collaboration with Ohr and the small group at the FBI. Nellie Ohr likely combed the NSA database for incriminating information on Manafort and the information was carried over to the Special Counsel by Weissmann. I think this is why Manafort was indicted so quickly. They threw in some token Russian indictments to muddy the water.

Meanwhile the FBI (McCabe/Comey/Strzok) rolled up Flynn.

I surmise they didn’t touch Carter Page with indictments because he’s an intelligence asset.

      Mueller botched Papadopoulous’ case.

I believe Manafort’s sentencing is the end of the Mueller SC. Weissmann will now try to write a report that inflicts maximum damage to the President. Barr will keep it under wraps. Mueller allies in Congress know what will be written and will try to make the case to make it public. They will need the innuendo as cover for investigations in Congress.

Trump will eventually declassify everything and blow the whole episode out of the water.

“Trump will eventually declassify everything and blow the whole episode out of the water.” This I think will happen only as a last resort. President Trump has warned dems and I am thinking that they are playing a dangerous game of calling this bluff. But then I don’t know – President Trump did eventually sign and did not continue with government shutdown so do not know if he will take the same approach towards declassifying.

My thoughts regarding declassifiction – I think if we read too many tweets from President Trump that he is going to declassify then it is not gonna happen but if we do not hear about declassifying anything at all then I think it is guaranteed that it will happen at the most opportune time. I hope I never see any tweets from the President threatening to declassify.

I think Trump will declassify. The value of declassification drops precipitously after his re-election – and over the next 2 years re-election is going to be one of Trump’s top focuses.

And the value of the Democrat’s stock in impeachment goes down considerably when the political witch hunt is laid bare and revealed to the public. The public will gain a strong distaste for the Democrats’ antics.

THIS IS NOT A FACT: “The dossier is the lynch-pin of evidence that validated the Title-1 FISA warrant used against Carter Page and all campaign officials therein.”

We don’t know what was used for any of the FISA’s because nothing is given before 2017 and everything is redacted.

Plausible Theory is that Deep State planted evidence on Trump Campaign (NY Times called them pings; Podesta and Crooked said it was Alfabank), but Wikileaks Vault 7 Release caught Deep State red handed!

Interesting anecdote, was on Facebook the other day, a friend had posted a meme stating Obama had no scandals at all. Watched a few lefty’s digitally beat their chests for a few minutes, then Had fun shredding that premise not that hard really. Basically killed the thread. Strobe Talbott. He’s been sketchy for a very LONG time, like since the 1960s. He’s the Russian Colluder, bar none. Can you spell SPY? Even John McCain could and called Talbott out in Senate testimony when President Clinton nominated him for Sec’y of State. He’s a preppy weasel (Hotchkiss — like his early idol, Henry Luce), Mead Paper Co. $ background, but a turncoat globalist for some bizarre reason. His late wife, Brooke Shearer, resembled his mother so much. There is NO photo w/ bio entry of Strobe in the Yale ’68 classbook, same for Derek Shearer. There’s some misidentified guys in the back pages w/ their names under the photos. Really odd as Strobe was Editor of the Yale Daily News, again, just like Henry Luce was. George W. Bush is featured in the classbook in all his glory. Same w/ Doug Eakeley, another Rhodes Scholar that Clinton had on his “team” for a while. (Side note: whenever we watch “Animal House” re-run, we yell out “Doug Eakeley” when Greg Marmalade in all his blonde perfection comes on;-)

What’s interesting to me as a longtime student of Strobe is that sophomore yr. he joined a fraternity at Yale that served also as a Secret Society. Therefore, he took himself out of the running for being “tapped” junior year for a (Senior) Secret Society, like S & B, Book & Snake, Wolf’s Head etc. where you are expected to spill your guts to your “Fifteen Best” fellow ‘Bonesmen, or whatever. A very evasive maneuver IMO, not showing team spirit, which Yale valued so much back then. Was he afraid that he wouldn’t be tapped by the best and that would be on his record forever? So maybe his whole life has been spent at getting back at guys he considered his inferiors, people like George Bush and Donald Trump, and USING others to do his bidding, like Bill and Hillary Clinton. There’s some motivation here that needs explaining.

THE PRESIDENT: I think Bruce Ohr is a disgrace. I suspect I’ll be taking it away very quickly.

I think that Bruce Ohr is a disgrace, with his wife, Nellie. For him to be in the Justice Department, and to be doing what he did, that is a disgrace. That is disqualifying for Mueller. And Mr. Mueller has a lot of conflicts, also, directly yourself. So you know that.

Mr. Mueller is highly conflicted. In fact, Comey is like his best friend. I could go into conflict after conflict. But sadly, Mr. Mueller is conflicted. But let him write his report. We did nothing. There’s no collusion.

But if he was doing an honest report, he’d write it on the other side. Because when you look at criminality, and you look at problems, take a look at what they did, including colluding with the Russians — the other side.

I need to go back and review everything PapaD has said about his professional background, role in the Trump campaign, his travels, etc. etc.

The reason Russia is so invested in Syria was to stop pipelines coming out of the middle east. Israel gas finds put this in jeopardy. The Eu also doesn’t actually want the pipelines coming out of the middle east (Israel) because they could lose control of eastern Europe as well as Italy and Greece. When LNG from U.S. is added to the mix completion of a combination of these things is detrimental to the globalist control

Think Brexit writ large. This is also the reason many of the eastern European leaders really want this and development of Romanian energy. As well as the Israeli pipelines The anti Brexit cabal in their intelligence community including E.U. is all in on stopping these things from happening or at least to insure maximum delay.

“LNG from U.S.”… definitely a game changer. Like a Spanish Inquisition: NOBODY expects LNG from the U.S.. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this!” screamed a thousand globalists…

Wasn’t it also connected to natural gas offshore, near Cyprus? That was the “deal” where the Israelis had to change their original agreement with the US exploration company. Or is that a later deal?

In any case, energy seems to be at the heart of a lot of this, as does Ukraine. Russia needed Ukraine to enable easier pipeline route, methinks? So was there a deal to allow the highest paying customer (i.e., most donations to Hillary etc) to prevail in Ukraine?

I keep thinking that the Ukraine issue is at the root of all of this…and money prompted so much, and why Hillary needed to win, to protect the $$ flows.

=> Translation: Comey was an active part of the protection scheme… until he was fired on May 9th. May 10th was Poopy Hit The Fan Day.
=> Recall: a couple of months earlier, Steele was concerned about “firewalls” wrt. Comey’s testimony. From the above JW release:

“An exchange beginning on March 18, 2017, tells of apprehension regarding Comey’s scheduled March 20, 2017, testimony before Congress and hopes that ‘important firewalls will hold'”

Yes, there’s something in this segment that is important.

Steele seems to use “firewalls” as defense between his source and his distribution of the material. There’s a possibility he is describing a need to “firewall” the laundry operation.

Nellie to Fusion, to Simpson, to Steele to his sources, and back to Steele, to FBI, and Fusion,…

Right, but recall Susan Rice’s accounting of the “by the book” meeting between Obama, Comey, et al.

Interesting convergence, that’s all… the fact that Ohr wrote “by the book” in quotes. Just like Rice did in her fake letter to herself.

Which is why 81 people ended up on a Special List this week.

Ahh.. tiring. People in the FBI and DOJ going to jail or not going to jail is not the underlying problem for them… it’s the former Administration that is the problem. 6 more years… can they make it through? So far, the Magic 8 Ball says: “Outlook not so good”.

ValJar still holed up in Obama’s guest bedroom, AFAIK.

I am by nature and choice a skeptical person. On this, I think it will turn out a better than it seems it will. The only evidence of this I can give is it is all being exposed slowly anyway, so they can’t just forget about it as much as they would like it to just disappear.

Regarding that stupid fishing expedition and the List of 81; expect a lot of lawyers will be busy sending the idiot House Democrats running around in circles for the next two years.

Would be great if something were going to happen because of this exposure. Judicial Watch cannot make any arrest. The DOJ/FBI has had this for a long time, so if anything were going to be done it would have already been done.

So what you are saying is that you don’t care about the stuff Judicial Watch released because nothing is going to be done with it? You could say the same thing about the Strzok/Page texts.

This info is changing the game. We probably aren’t going to see actual justice delivered, but knowing what happened and being able to defend what we suspected is worth so much. I would rather know and have nothing happen than not know.
