DOJ: No Mueller Report Next Week – Meanwhile Schiff and Nadler Demand Report Details….

The most likely sequencing of the Democrat scheme has always looked to be: (1) Michael Cohen testimony; then (2) The Mueller report.

Cohen is scheduled to testify to Elijah Cummings House oversight committee Wednesday February 27th (10:00am) next week.  Today, predictably, the DOJ announces the Robert Mueller report will be *after* that testimony:

WASHINGTON DC – Special counsel Robert Mueller will not deliver his report to the Justice Department on Friday or next week, a Justice Department official told The Hill.

The news comes amid broad speculation that Mueller’s probe into Russia’s electoral interference is wrapping up, with several news outlets reporting Wednesday that newly confirmed Attorney General William Barr was preparing to receive Mueller’s final report as soon as next week. (read more)

Meanwhile, also anticipated, with Attorney General William Barr in place to receive and statutorily summarize the report from Robert Mueller, House democrats start posturing to impede AG Barr’s influence within the final report construct.

HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff writes a letter to AG Barr establishing a set of congressional demands to exploit innuendo and inference for their impeachment objectives.

[Link to SourceLink to pdf]

It is obvious how Pelosi’s primary team (Schiff, Nadler and Cummings) plan to exploit the Robert Mueller report for maximum political value, ie. impeachment goals.

[…] We also expect that the Department will provide to our Committees, upon request and consistent with applicable law, other information and material obtained or produced by the Special Counsel regarding certain foreign actors and other individuals who may have been the subject of a criminal or counterintelligence investigation.

[…] If the Special Counsel has reason to believe that the President has engaged in criminal or other serious misconduct, then the President must be subject to accountability either in a court or to the Congress.

Pelosi, Schumer and the House committee democrats do not want William Barr to be able to write a summary, a public statement, based on the report delivered to him by Robert Mueller.

Instead, the Democrats want the report from Mueller, including all the investigative trails that were exhausted, so they can exploit aspects of the inquiry that were not able to be proven, and weaponize “innuendo” and “possibility” for political benefit.

The process they are following is by design:

The “resistance GOP” are only as useful as President Trump’s ability to coerce, reward or compromise with them which he does extremely well. That’s not the issue.

There’s one area where Obama absolutely kicks President Trump’s ass; community organizing. Obama built ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, Occupy WallStreet and orchestrated the systematic assassination of law enforcement officers through multiple race-hate hoaxes orchestrated straight from the Bully Pulpit. Add this to the pre-existing Marxist organizations consisting of ACLU, SPLC, La Raza, NAACP, Black Causus, Hispanic Caucus, CAIR, etc. the list goes on and on. All of these organizations received billions in funding under Obama through the Holder DOJ Corporate lawsuit program.

We have Bikers for Trump. Doubt they’ve received one dollar in funding, though I’d put them up against any of these Marxist organizations.

These groups constantly, physically assaulted Trump supporters attending rallies during the election. For the last two years kids and adults who wear MAGA hats have been physically assaulted, guns stuck in their face at Wal-Mart. Cabinet members accosted in restaurants at the behest of the likes of Maxine Watters and Loretta Lynch. Republican Congressmen shot down on baseball fields in DC. Republicans in Congress could care less.

President Trump. We have been punching bags for three years now, patiently holding back and supporting you. And you have exceeded all expectations in the realm of political gains. But the violence against those of us at the grassroots level is only ramping up. The left is at all out war against us and we are standing here flat-footed with our chins sticking out and a MAGA hat on our head. All in the name of PDJT.

The left will never stop doing what they are doing. They are going to get much worse. Follow this equation to its logical end. War is the inevitable conclusion in every Country the left has ever infected. And wherever the left prevails genocide against all who dissent is the outcome.

When are you going to give us permission to organize and fight back?

@RLTW…Why do you need permission? Maybe he’s waiting for us to take the initiative.

One plan would be those who can travel and be off work are supported ($$$$$$$$) by those who can’t. The first group would organize and have a contingent of at least 100 people, on a rotating schedule, everyday, 24/7/365, peacefully protesting in front of Congress.

Maybe rotate by state or region.

        Whadaya think?

But seriously, it is way past time for us to start organizing and voicing OUR demands in DC, since they’re not paying any attention to phone calls, letters and emails. My Democrat Representatives and Senators (even RINO Cory Gardner are deaf, dumb and stupider than bags of hair, and mostly corrupt).

        • RLTW says:

No. Protests are strictly a tool of the left. Won’t work for us. President Trump has to recognize the fact that these people on the left will stop at nothing to destroy our Country, our Constitution, our way of life, Western Civilization, Christianity and the American Citizen. They will never accept his Presidency. They will never stop trying to destroy his Presidency. And he must pass on the Presidency to his heirs if this Country of freedom is to survive (Don Jr. NOT PENCE).

The left cannot abide the voting habits of an American Citizen who always votes in the interests of his own freedom and his family above those of government. Marxist ideals cannot survive in this environment. Thus they seek to replace the American voter by flooding our Country with tens of millions of illiterate non-English speaking cholasos.

You see, the problem with America is that it’s populated by Americans.

The cholasos are the impoverished, desperate lower class of Central and South America. Brain development largely occurs in the first three years of a child’s life and is dependent upon quality nutrition. This is why the impoverished cholaso class South of the American border have an average IQ below 90 and are incapable of ever learning English or attaining literacy. In other words, they are the ideal “useful idiots.”

Not a racial issue. Any White child or Asian child would suffer the same consequence in a nutritionally impoverished environment.

This is why the citizens of South and Central America perpetually vote-in Marxists like Maduro. After the Marxist genocides and geo-political implosions of the last century a person literally has to be mentally retarded in order to buy into the lies of a Marxist utopia. Or be a graduate of a Marxist Madrasa otherwise known as a US University. AOC actually has a degree in economics from Boston University. Unbelievable. We should take a cue from the new Brazilian President and purge our Universities of all Marxists.

And this is exactly why the Democrats and the RHINOs are seeking to replace the American citizen/voter with tens of millions of cholaso voters. The bottom line is that the entire US Government, with the exception of President Trump, is actively waging war against the US Citizen. Add to that the media, Hollywood, the Universities, our public school system brainwashing our children. They are all Marxists. They crave absolute power and they have a plan to attain it.

Absolute power over the American Citizen was supposed to have been achieved at this point under President Hillary Clinton. And don’t think for a minute that at least 50 million of us wouldn’t be in concentration camps right about now. You think that is crazy talk? You think it’s funny? That is EXACTLY what has happened in every Country in the world just as soon as the left breaches the 50% power level. Read some history.

Trump saved us. We survive today by a razor thin margin because of an un-sung hero. Admiral Rogers saved President Trump and thus saved the United States of America. God bless you Admiral Michael S. Rogers.

There is no way out of this but through civil war. I wish it weren’t so. I wish the left would go along to get along but they won’t. The left is demanding war and is currently waging war against us and has made it abundantly clear that they will settle for nothing less. I have seen my share of war and I want no more of it. But I will go into full Berserker mode to save my family, my family’s freedom and our Country’s freedom from the evils of the left.

I am no radical and I have no plans to assassinate Nancy Pelosi et al. I am just a Patriot patiently awaiting orders from my Commander In Chief. It is time for President Trump to take extra-Constitutional measures just as President Lincoln was forced to do. The Congress is corrupt. The Judiciary is corrupt. Every Agency and Department that supposedly works for President Trump is corrupt and is actively engaged in an ongoing coupe attempt. We have no choice but to wage war against and completely exterminate the left and our own Federal Government, which is a wholly owned entity of the left.

We are the majority. We have the guns. We have the will. God is on our side…and we shall prevail. Be patient.

True, but he works for PT. Both PT and Barr know the dems intend to impeach PT. Just a WAG here, but they may rethink impeachment is PT agrees not to go after the coup perps (to include the loathsome obama, his crew and clinton) and let bygones be bygones. That might work in DC but half of the country will not buy it.

Once mueller finally clears the AO PT has to go on offense. Start to selectively trickle out the unreacted docs, strike preemptively and send the message to the country that the dems intend to impeach him for whatever, but he’s not making any deals. He is going to drain the swamp, as promised. The perps will see justice. Any impeachment will look even weaker and more swamp like.

A SPECIAL COUNSEL is governed by rules (28 CFR 600) not law.
Schiff mentions this in his letter

§ 600.9 Notification and reports by the Attorney General.
      (c) The Attorney General may determine that public release of these reports would be in the public interest, to the extent that release would comply with applicable legal restrictions. All other releases of information by any Department of Justice employee, including the Special Counsel and staff, concerning matters handled by Special Counsels shall be governed by the generally applicable Departmental guidelines concerning public comment with respect to any criminal investigation, and relevant law.

Releasing information about a declined prosecution/ no bill grand jury is governed by numerous DOJ guidelines and law

Barr’s decision is not about legality…….solely politics.

      • L4grasshopper says:

Barr’s is LEGALLY authorized to deny Congress a look at that Report.

The LEGAL issue at hand is that Barr has authority to do with the Report what he wants to do.

Rereading my post, I think I was unclear.
We are on the same page.

          What I intended to convey:

He’s on solid ground to NOT release anything.
Congress has no grounds either by regulation or law to force him to release.
Congress could sue the DOJ and take it all the way to SCOTUS and they would lose.

          Which means:

IF…..Barr ultimately decides to release Mueller’s report that will be a POLITICAL decision for POLITICAL reasons and NOT AT ALL A LEGAL decision for LEGAL reasons.

If he doesn’t they can claim crimes are being covered up etc etc. This provides cover to go overboard on their “oversight” and go after any and all other good ideas they can come up with to investigate PT. Either way the goal is impeachment.

Then try to grow the numbers until hopefully you can beat the establishment.

If this report lays out indictable offenses, these must be fully disclosed. If this report declines to indict, every person who has access to it must be identified since any disclosure is an egregious offense against the right to be presumed innocent of the unindicted accused. Any leak should generate criminal referrals of all persons with access until who is indictable is determined.

AND Cohens “new DNC lawyer pal” Lanny Davis are connected?
Who is supposed to know YOUR personal finances other than YOU??
I’m guessing Cohen would not have copped a plea deal if he knew the Treasury dept info
had been illegally gained ….fruit of the poison tree ?
        just sayin…

    • Breaking news: Vaginitis causing Cohen’s testimony delay. Sources close to the investigation state that Cohen has turned into such a pussy that the SC and Swamprats at large are afraid he’ll break down in tears when confronted by Conservative politicians on live TV.

  22. I say we need to begin praying for Attorney General Barr that he has the courage to do his job in the face of overwhelming pressure and demands to do otherwise. Let’s keep this man in our prayers along with President Trump. From all that I have seen Attorney General Barr has the courage and strength to stand up to the Democrats and their obscene games to subvert justice.

“And other matters that may have arisen directly from the investigation.” That had nothing to do with the primary reason for the investigation. And because the Deep State led by Rosenstein and Mueller broadened the scope of the investigation so that you could not possibly remember what it was initially about or recognize what it has become, that is the ‘smoking gun/cow’ they want to milk in the media to imply that ‘see?? he really is guilty, but we just can’t prove it. But he is guilty. But we can’t prove it. But he is guilty…” Schiff for brains will lead that chant till he has a stroke.

I seem to remember Schiff, at Barr’s nomination hearing, asking Barr if he would provide Congress with Mueller’s full report. I don’t remember his answer though. But whatever, Barr should just ask Schiff how many of his campaign promises he kept.

    • Jan says:

It wasn’t Schiff because he’s in the House, not the Senate. I believe even Grassley asked him to reveal the Mueller report, as well as not-so-fine Feinstein and others. The RINOs want the report just as badly as the Dimms.

Since Weissmann is involved, I don’t know why ANYONE thinks there won’t be innuendo after innuendo…the perfect setup for impeachment. That’s the best the Dimms can hope for, and trust me, Weissmann will leak it all to his fellow Dimms.

My God, these democrats are so consumed with power, so dedicated to keeping the status quo, so utterly corrupt and criminal minded, they can think of nothing but how to stop Trump and the American peoples best interests

Imagine if they spent their time looking out for the American people. Imagine if all the man hours, all the devious calculations, all of the brainstorming and deep seated planning that goes into stopping our President was spent on helping their constituents

What a disgusting display of corruption, criminality, arrogance and elitism. What a grotesque caricature of governance. What a vile betrayal of the meaning of a Constitutional Republic

It’s truly mind boggling that this outrageous clown show represents our modern day government

I didn;t get the impression from his hearings
that Barr was some pushover. He made it clear
he will follow whatever the rules is for Special
    council reports.

I wonder if they maybe want Cohen to testify first so
he says all these things then the report finds nothing
and it show Cohen for the liar that he is? Wasn;t it something
to do with Cohen that got Mueller to make that unusual
statement that whatever was reported was false?

When my mother was in her late 70s, she’d take her little chihuahua to work with her at the local school every day… The Principal would often say “Ruth, you can’t have a dog here. It’s against the rules.” My mother would smile and say, “I don’t need this job. Some days I don’t want this job. I’m getting old and I’m committed to doing things my way. If you don’t like it, you’ll have to let me go.” They needed her, so she and the dog stayed.
On his second time around as AG, I think Barr may have a little of that attitude… Kind of playing with house money… No pushover as you say… Committed to doing things his way… Let’s hope… We’ll see.

I saw a headline earlier that said Cohen was giving prosecutors new information on the Trump Organization. The next sentence said ‘hoping for a reduced sentence.’ No kidding?

  31. Let’s think this through. None of Trump’s campaign associates have been indicted or convicted for any campaign-related crimes involving so-called Russian collusion. Ordinarily, plea bargains for a cooperating witness have the cooperating witness pleading guilty to a crime or crimes that they are trying to convict a more important player of. The only “crime” allegedly involving the campaign involved the payoff made to Stormy Daniels. Cohen pleaded guilty to a campaign finance violation that none of the experts thought was a crime. So what else could they possibly have? Wouldn’t we have known about it already because of the indictments of subordinates?

I notice in the AG letter, they make reference to the department’s precedent, the department’s policy, and the department’s position. If it’s in the D’s favor they won’t care about any of the “p” words. I know they have laid talking points ground work that “indicting a sitting president” is not law, just a policy that was never needed to be tested .

It all works out in the end.

I DO NOT trust Mueller. My guess is that his report will say he suspects Trump is not truthful but couldn’t prove it because Trump refused to be interviewed. IMO, Mueller is working with the Dems & Deep State. He will not give PDJT a clean bill of health in his report! He will give the Dems leads to chase, even if it has to be leaked. Again only my opinion. Mueller and Weismann have proven what they are capable of. Rule of law and integrity is not included in those capabilities.

  38. It seems that Congress has become one big mass of institutionalized stupidity, mainly on the part of the Repubs who have botched up every advantage they’ve had when they were in the majority.

How can it be that the most blatant, mean spirited, craven, ignorant, Commie Demon Rats can run circles around even the best of the Repubs in Congress? Why is it that when the Repubs get elected they take office while the Dems seize the power?

I am sick and tired of our President Trump getting zero support from people who are supposed to be on OUR SIDE. It’s like he is one man vs. the rest of the world- under constant attack by the hyenas and jackals.

it’s long past time for the cavalry and reinforcements to come riding over the ridge. One man, even our President Trump., cannot fight this battle alone, although he’s been doing a damn good job so far.

Congressional Repubs, minus the list from FG&C above, prefer to be in the minority. When they are in the majority they are expected to keep campaign promises which they have proven they cannot. Only reason PDJT promises have been kept is because of PDJT, not Congressional Repubs. When they are in the minority they vote bravely but when they lose they can blame it on the Dems and not having the power. Many cowards, few patriots.

      • For God & Country- you are right, of course. I LOVE Jim, Matt, Devin, and the Freedom Caucus. I just wish there were more of them.

At the end of the day, either the SC found evidence that the POTUS committed crime or they did not.

    If not, then it’s over…period.

If the AG were to release any innuendo from the report then he would be doing the same thing Comey did WRT Hillary…citing reasons for her guilt while exhonerating her.

Comey was fired for this. If Barr acts in a similar fashion, then he should be canned as well.

  45. trapper says:

They can stamp their little feet and demand all they want. Barr has already made it clear that he won’t be buffaloed into releasing anything more than his summary. Anything more than that and he would be making the same mistake Comey made. The DOJ and FBI do NOT investigate people and then, after determining there was no illegality to charge them with, proceed to make public all the details of their personal lives anyway.

If Barr does not officially release the full Mueller report, it will be leaked. Heck, it may well be leaked to the Democrats and the press even before Barr gets to see it!

Whether Barr is “swampy’ or not remains to be seen. Unfortunately it is crystal clear that the Senate Republicans swamp creatures through and through and will give the president less than zero support.

It’s outrageous that these repugnant Dem Hell Hounds will abuse their powers and continue to pursue their political objective of destroying POTUS (post Mueller) in any way possible regardless of how many great things he has clearly done and how many serious challenges he will continue to face in the world. Vigorous political opposition is essential as a check and balance in any democracy but they are clearly surpassing the efforts of all the worst in the past that concocted political frame jobs and implemented dirty tricks against a President.

I hope most history books in the future (if anyone reads history then) will accurately record the depravity of their actions that do nothing to make America better or improve the life of even one American. Unless you count a brief inrush of joyous TDS insanity until the bogus Schiff allegation is disproved and the Dem fool that believed him once again sinks further down into the dark Dem abyss.
