Chairman Goodlatte Prepares Subpoenas For DOJ/FBI ‘Steele Dossier’ Conspiracy Group…

According to a report in The Hill, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte is preparing to issue subpoenas and appearance requests for current and former members of the FBI and DOJ teams who were engaged in constructing, and advancing, the Clinton-Steele dossier.

WASHINGTON – […] Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) is preparing subpoenas for Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, his wife Nellie Ohr and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, according to two congressional sources familiar with the matter.

The subpoenas will also go after other current and former FBI and DOJ officials including Jim Baker, Sally Moyer, Jonathan Moffa and George Toscas, the sources said.

Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores told The Hill that Goodlatte has been in touch with the DOJ about seeking testimonies from these officials.

A Republican House Judiciary Committee aide confirmed to The Hill they plan to seek such interviews: “We plan to interview the people below in the coming weeks and we will issue subpoenas to compel their attendance if necessary.”

Goodlatte could issue the orders as early as this week as part of his panel’s joint investigation with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is examining FBI and DOJ decision-making during the 2016 presidential election. (Read More)

      From the article linked above:

The House Intelligence, Judiciary and Oversight committees have requested that President Trump declassify 21 additional pages from the FISA application. Additionally, Chairman Nunes states congress will be conducting depositions during the August recess:

They need to vastly decrease the ink allowed in the ‘redaction’ marker.

Due to the games that have been played by the admin at DoJ and FBI, including clapper and brennan from the previous administration, imo President Trump should issue a standing order that unless something has an immediate and direct negative effect on national security, all information should be made public whenever requested. Period.

Jeff Sessions is a meticulous person. This is a massive RICO investigation. Sessions is not going to jeopardize convictions to satisfy the general public.
In February, Sessions told Maria B. there was a prosecutor outside of the beltway investigating the issues. She never asked, “What is his name?”. About a month later, Sessions named him, and a lot of folks asked “When did this happen?” so like Maria they weren’t paying attention.
Read the Wolfe indictment. It is a beautiful piece of work. If Sessions was the useless guy some describe, the Wolfe indictment would never have happened.
There have been no leaks from the real prosecutors, the ones working for Huber on the Flynn charges & f302s, the FISA applications, the Clinton Foundation, and other issues. Because a lot of folks with no need to know haven’t heard anything doesn’t mean the investigation isn’t happening. Justice will be served.
2018 is going to be a glorious year.

I’ve been watching for action from John Huber since his name was first mentioned. He’s working out of Utah – away from the D.C. leakers. Huber has the power to indict – something Horowitz and Mueller do not. He could be cranking out sealed indictments 24/7. From other “grapevines” I have heard that be exactly what he is doing.

And he used to be Russian, so speaks and writes it, and likely uses typical Russian prose and makes such spelling errors as have been detected in the material edited by Steele (although the last bit could also come because Steele or Nelly Ohr have been doing translation work and either of them is a bit dyslectic).

If “Bob Goodlatte’s” name was replaced above by the name an honest and dogged prosecutor at the DOJ or a 2nd Special Prosecutor named Joe DeGenova or someone just like him, it would really mean the tables are turning instead of the same slow walking process by a political body that can not indict or pressure witnesses.

Where’s the highly touted crusader prosecutor Huber from Utah that was appointed by Sessions I think? Jeff is still mostly in hiding so Rod and Bob are still running the DOJ; Manafort is being drawn and quartered for tax evasion and the worst hacks at the collective lying MSM (ie NYT) are claiming “the evidence of criminality is piling up on Trump and it’s time to bring out the heavy hitters” against him. They can still comfortably laugh at or ignore the growing “evidence and collusion” regarding the Insurance policy etc. and happily release their usual daily tirades against Trump. If all of the facts and evidence are ever revealed, then what. Trump will likely be engaged in a court case going all the way to SCOTUS to determine if Mueller’s subpoena and Obstruction of Justice allegations are valid or Constitutional. That case will suffocate all other news to most Americans.

Gulliani said it would take a year or year and a half for the bombshell to occur on the anti Trump conspiracy side. Oh yeah, and only 37 % of eligible voters turned out in Ohio. Sundance is a thorough and highly competent investigator. He gives us both an “overview” of what is going on and the nitty-gritty (granular) of the barrel arbor, balance spring, Breguet spring, elinvar, escapement, crown wheel, pinions, pallets, ratchet, and other parts that make up the watch. Sundance is particularly talented at explaining how the parts are connected and interconnected and essential to the whole.

That said, the “man on the street” has only scant knowledge of a limited exposure to the overview of the Trump-Russia Collusion circus.

Those following Sundance must be careful to keep in touch with another reality. The reality is that the Trump-Russia Collusion circus is not a subject on the minds of most people and they would fall dead asleep before the Ohrs and “insurance polities” could be explained. It is like talking inside baseball with a person who just doesn’t care.

Empiricus wrote “The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind small.” That metaphor underlies the Ancient Greek school of philosophy called “Skepticism.” Those philosophers believed that one should not suggest “final truths.” The Skeptics investigate, but they suspend judgement and/or opinion. Their first action is to determine what is false. In essence, they “discover” what is true until shown otherwise. The rap against the Skeptics was that they picked things to death and didn’t come up with solutions.

None of us know what constitutes “justice” in any given situation until it is hammered out by some sort of jury that weighs the “facts” and reaches a determination. The “facts” have to be displayed to the jury in a manner that helps them understand both the overview and the “granular.”

The mills of the gods quote has been repeated throughout history and it often includes a concept that sometimes justice is significantly delayed by the continued grinding of the “granules” into ever finer perfection.

As Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was painting the Sistine Chapel ceiling, Pope Sixtus IV was hounding him about “when will you make an end?” It was sort of a “enough already” impatience to tear away the scaffolding and see the masterpiece as a whole. The pressure of Pope Sixtus might have cost some of Michelangelo’s brilliance in execution, but the job could not go on forever.

Patience and prudence are important virtues. But when they become delay and hesitation, we have another problem on our hands. As of now, we still have the enormous task ahead of educating the public about what has been going on. We really do not yet know what the facts are. The Skeptics are at work and their job is not yet finished.

This ^^^^^ is, interestingly, precisely why we know Q is genuine.

The autists on 4 and 8-chan HATE fakers like no other. When Q first appeared, ALL efforts went towards exposing Q as a LARP. ALL efforts. But Q knew they would do this. Q was COUNTING on them attempting to prove Q was a LARP.

        Guess what?

The autists proved….instead….that Q was genuine….the real deal. And so, as a result, the autists became Q’s army, and Qanon took off.

It was a brilliantly conceived plan by US Military Intelligence….who created a backdoor channel to communicate directly with the public, bypassing the MSM.

And it’s all perfectly legit, because Q never reveals classified intelligence or intelligence sources, he mainly asks questions or points to publicly available information.

The thing that sticks out most about Q being authentic is those who have stood in opposition to Q since the “coming out”..my, my, my..so much effort being put into motion to eliminate the Q phenomenon…

“Q” is a figment. A UFO. An aura emanating from a penumbra. “Q” has no more effect on the public understanding than waving bedsheets at the aurora borealis has on the reincarnation of P.T. Barnum.

ROFLMAO We all know what those subpoenas are worth, absolutely nothing. Most have refused to answer them and have not suffered any consequences…….just another empty time consuming move that will get nowhere! Although if repugnants play their cards right the dems will regain the power and control once again, and Trump will be impeached. But hey, the repugnants have got this, right?! 🙄

2020 and Muleshit will still e all over the Trump administration. It will even go long after the 2020 electionif Trump wins. But….again the repugnants have got this, and of course AG Sessions is all over it, right?!

I see all the thistle chewers have arrived.

Luckily they cannot distract most of us from the facts that sundance has once again pulled off brilliant investigative work, bringing yet another blaze of sunlight, and that the wheels of justice are still grinding slowly and very finely.

I am supremely content with recent developments and am also stocking up on my popcorn.

A lot of material has ALREADY been declassified otherwise how would we have seen the FISA application and the Ohr/Steele texts? No one just gave Judicial Watch or Solomon classified material. It’s been declassified and being trickled out slowly.

How does one eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

Over the past months I’ve been back and forth over the usefulness of these hearings. However, if not for Congress insistence on removing redactions, who then, would speak up?
