Mark Sanford Defeated in SC Primary Contest – MAGA Supported Katie Arrington Wins!!

Need More Winnamins !!

South Carolina Representative Mark Sanford has been defeated by primary challenger Katie Arrington for the SC District-01 race.  Sanford was an unhinged critic of Donald Trump in 2016 and continued his opposition against President Trump in 2017 and 2018.

Earlier today President Trump tweeted support for Sanford’s challenger Ms. Katie Arrington.  As of 12:15am with around 99% of the vote Arrington has defeated Sanford by approximately 4 points (51/47):  [SC Vote Link Here]

Understanding the reality of his position Mark Sanford conceded defeat early.

    • Note, you had to pick party to vote for today. Many here chose Dem to vote for local area races. I told my trends No. I have no reason to touch a Dem ballot. In General, some of those Dem votes today will go back to GOP.

The tweet from our President was ABSOLUTELY fantastic and a MOAB to every single RINO in the House and the Senate. This is PDJT’s Party. Anyone who thought differently are going to be sadly mistaken.

The RINOs realize damn well this evening that their control of the Republican Party is gone!

This will have major ramifications for Senate Republicans up for reelection in 2020 (Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Ben Sasse etc.)

Mrs. McCain will not speak negatively again about our President! He will actually say tomorrow that not only is he for the WALL, he will volunteer to work on it during the weekends he is not in DC!

Ben Sasse will pull another Jeff Flake and Bob Corker move and announce sometime in October 2019 that he will not be running for reelection in Nebraska.

    Now that’s funny 🙂

If you’re not familiar with this clown, in 2009 he was the governor of the great state of South Carolina. For about a week, he disappeared.

As in, nobody knew where the governor was for about a week . When he popped back up, he was in Argentina, where he was staying with a reporter he was cheating on his wife with.

I work in South Carolina. Most of the people around here are openly, proudly “MAGA”. Damn right she’ll win, in a landslide. The area around Charleston is sort of liberal, and the major cities have pockets of liberals that run the city councils and things…. but even they struggle to keep seats, and every other county in the state goes hard core, Redneck Republican every election.

The Governor that just won his primary won by playing ads non stop all day of President Trump yelling “AND WE’RE GONNA KEEP WINNING!!!!” over and over again, lol.

      SC LOVES President Trump.

I hope the republicans go way out of their way this Fall to get the voters active, and most of all to blanket every media and social network with the REAL news of everything accomplished so far, and the things we need to get done. If the republicans announced a proposed media schedule with the right kind of ads, I might throw some money their way. But I want it to be aggressive on what’s been done, and how bright the future can be with everyone supporting this president. Like that video Trump showed Kim.

I watched an episode way back when, when Lamont was “going African”. They had some visitors from Africa at the time, and while Lamont was being disrespectful to his father, the visitors scolded him for it because, in their words, African tradition was to be respectful of one’s parents and elders. Then a year or so later, a missionary to Africa in the C&MA church was visiting my sister at her house, and I mentioned that episode to the missionary. She corrected me saying that the respect was actually fear – fear of being cursed by evil spirits or whatever.

I just learned from an article that Sanford’s mistress/fiancee/luvvah/whatever is from a wealthy family and her father doesn’t want Sanford to get his hands on any of the family money. His defeat tonight is unlikely to cause her father to look upon him favorably. 🙂

Part of my job is screening/rewriting evaluations for junior Sailors. There’s a special way certain Shipmates have of wording negative phrases that this tweet reminds me of. “Shown Humility” means, doesn’t think he can accomplish things or doesn’t win enough to brag about it/uses not being good enough as an excuse rather than just improving. “Desire to be a better man” means, isn’t a good enough man and isn’t succeeding in his efforts to become better.

If you actually accomplish something, you say that you’ve accomplished something; you don’t go on about how you WANTED to accomplish something and didn’t, but at least you were gracious in your failure.
