I have to admit Sundance, that I simply cannot stand Pee Wee Wallace’s whiny voice….I can read transcripts, because then I can skip his questions and go right to the interviewees answers. Sure do admire your strength.

Can someone just recap that Steve kicked little Chrissy’s a$$?

I seriously can’t watch these clips.

      Unfortunately, nothing was kicked.
Secretary stated the same points even though whiney man tried to get him to answer differently.
And Mr. Secretary also reinterated the point that they will not broadcast what their next action would even if it were a military one.

A bit dull to watch actually.

But he is a good Secretary.

This was among the more benign Wallace interviews. Pretty straightforward answers by Mnuchin, and CW wasn’t as gamey as usual, so not as painful to watch as typically the case.

Maybe it was the flat lighting on his face, but I must say Mnuchin looked quite tense in keeping with the situation. His responses reflected a steely determination to apply pressure on NK, and China by implication. The package of sanctions going to President Trump for his “serious consideration” will “cut off” countries doing business with NK from US trade.

The administration is taking NK’s action as a serious provocation and given Mnuchin’s demeanor it sounds like the administration is going to respond quickly and strongly to the threat.

I agree this one not as painful, mainly cause it is just over 4 minutes. Wallace, like the others, has questions that come in paragraphs. Just the live version of some of Mnuchin’ s statements posted elsewhere here. Short recap, lots of paraphrasing.

W- Have you spoken to the President and what is his reaction to NK latest missile test?
M- Behavior unacceptable. Besides sanctions , he is drafting pkg of those who want to support NK will not be doing business with US.
W- Sanction pkg to much tougher on chinese financial & business institutions?
      M-We’re considering everything….
W- Can we / IC confirm type of bomb?
M-IC has done amazing job, but not going to disclose classified info.
W-What about tweet that NK only understands one thing? What is one thing? Are we getting closer to Fire & Fury
      M-Goal is denuclearize NK…..
W-But are we closer to military response?
M-like I said going to consider all options, & not going to broadcast what it is we will be doing
W-What about reports of pulling out of SK trade deal?
M-We’ve been clear. Where there have been great balance deficits with countries, we are going to renegotiate. No decision made then other we have been clear.

To be sure, CW is still scum, hardly a “reporter” and a lousy interviewer. I’m hardly a TV “personality” but I’m quite sure I (and many other people) could do a better interview, especially with such a straightforward subject.

Then again, we aren’t determined to “show up” the Trump administration, have no interest in fooling the American people or have any desire to further the obstruction of progress in solving the crucial problems we face as a nation.

Fortunately Mnuchin was intensely focused on countering the threat posed by NK and its supporting countries. He was not going to fall for CW’s usual tricks, but yeah, still unpleasant to hear it. Just that in this particular interview, the usual nonsense was not as prominent as it typically is.

But, but, curious Chris want to get the scoop on chaos within the administration, names of those who find President Trump to be incompetent, fire and fury, when it will occur, and precisely what time. It could be televised if he can just get the information he wants.

I’m thinking it is time for a naval blockade of the NORKs…something like we did to Cuba back in the day. Yeah, I realize they are not an island and can be supplied thru their borders with China and Russia, but maybe we’ll get lucky and tempt Miss Kim into throwing a punch so we can light him up, so to speak…but I could be wrong

Matt, Trump is “handling” China and they will have to eventually decide to not support NK if they want economics/money for their country if we stop allowing them to import stuff here and we won’t allow purchases from them. They need the money, can buy their coal from us and not NK, etc., etc. The Art of the Deal has already been put in process so hold your horses. We also would like to see Korea as one country again and keep stupid politicians putting their foot in again as they did with Korea and also with Vietnam.

South Korea is a huge thumb in the Communists’ eyes. They managed to snag all of Vietnam, but South Korea is the shining city on the hill that reminds the world of how Communism is a front for the forces of darkness. As China has been building its muscle with American dollars, it’s no small irony that they would eventually attack us using their North Korea proxy.

I like Mnuchin more, every time I see him speak. Probably the most loyal Cabinet member Trump has. I’m warming up to his steely demeanor. This is a guy who knows how to get things done. The beauty of Trump’s cabinet, is that these are accomplished people, they know how to wade through adversity and get to the goal line. Mnuchin is a star

star, I personally like all of Trump’s appointees, so along with Mnunchin, there is Wilbur Ross, the wolverine working in all this and Ross is one tough but very smart man. The 3 economists are doing a great job along with Trump to end NK’s stupidity and they know how to do it. We now have businessmen running the show and not a bunch of greedy Congressional politicians without the skills we now have.

When I consider those deemed worthy to host the 2016 debates and consider Chrissy and Megyn Kelly because they work for conservative network Faux News, I want to barf! It is high time for a true conservative network that reports what the working voting people believe in. I would love for that network to take over and to include Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity, Jeanine Piro and Tucker Carlson. The only reason I have not yet pulled the plug on faux news is those patriots. I do love OAN and I am grateful that I also get it.

Happy Labor Day, Fellow Treepers and you dear Sundance!

The U.S. trade deficit with China was about $350 billion in 2016 & every year it keeps going up.Perfect time to use North Korea as an excuse & put Tariff on Chinese products and shut down large Chinese banks so that US trade deficit with China can go down while China unemployment goes up.

Let China tastes its own North Korea medicine.

Chris Wallace: What are Trump’s plans for dealing with N. Korea moving forward.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin: In light of the damage by Hurricane Harvey, the strengthening of hurricane Irma and the escalating threats from N. Korea, President Trump plans to declare martial law for the entire country. Once declared President Trump will order all the Marxist and other Trojan Horses in the USA forceably moved to the Left Coast, starting with Congress, the MSM, the 1.3 million Antifa found on DreamHost, illegals, mussie refuges and immigrants, members of the DNC, the Chamber of Commerce, Lobbying groups and selected members of the RNC.

The property confiscated from these people will be traded for similar value property of conservatives who wished to move from the Left coast.

Once N. Korea makes a strike on the USA, Mad Dog Mattis will be turned loose.
