We probably don’t get to, though.

  15. Our President and First Lady, outclasses everyone of those despicable politicians.
Never think for one moment he does not know what he is doing or that he is naive in the political arena.
He is in charge of the enemy tonight; lured them right into his den.
    Love it!

There’s a line from Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby where Nick compares Gatsby to all the rich and vapid hangers-on.

“They’re a rotten crown, you’re worth the whole damn bunch of them.”

Very appropriate for the First Family and all the evil snakes, in the Uniparty, he’s dealing with.

I mean look at Schumer, Pelosi, Waters faces–they are disgustingly ugly from all the hate; compare them to the beautiful Trump family who have no use for hatred or ugliness.

Hah! I love his opening line!

“Nobody ever told me that politics would be so much fun.”

That’s like blowing a raspberry at all those who have been trying to do him harm.
    Like he’s saying…
‘Oh, were you trying to hurt me? You’re funny.’

    Heheh.

Pence… I know he’s trying to be gracious, etc.. But gimme a break. I roll my eyes at the “sacrifice and serve” BS these life long pols heap on each other..

99% of them are a bunch of F@#$ing LOOTERS and have screwed over the American middle class six ways from Sunday securing their place at the trough.. makes me wanna puke to hear that kind of talk.

Re: PDJT.. He thinks he can deal with these Dems. He thinks he can build bridges and work with them. I hope he can for the sake of my kids and grandkids.. I’m jaded, I admit. But I think those bastards just flat out DO NOT value any of the things we value. They will do ANYTHING to win anything.. The play for keeps and I don’t think we can reason with them or make deals with them. I’m at the point where I think they just need to be destroyed/crushed.

    • I’m not big on Pence but he did a good job reminding the senators that as VP he’s their boss. The Trump train didn’t stop after the election, it’s moving full steam ahead and if these career politicians don’t get on board they will get run over. Why do you think Schumer is there, he knows he must stay on his toes with Trump, the train moves fast.

Trump realizes Ryan isn’t going to get the Obamacare repeal job done (I’m sure Trump knows the real reason why) so now he’s looking for a different way. I think Trump wants to learn more about the agenda of those republican senators who were against the first step of the repeal bill. Alcohol is like truth serum, and Trump doesn’t drink.

I know that feeling Rep, as do many others. There are a few statesmen left. With things like a public display dinner for bipartisanship and more to come, I believe a few more can be restored to some, at least symbolic, display of decency and concern for the citizens of America, for the future.

Venting rage or calling names should only be done by us in the comment sections of websites.

The fact the opposition doesn’t care or will carry on being disrespectful, nasty and a bunch of lying ideologues is no reason for Pence to do anything but be gracious and conciliatory. . .

I’ve always felt that envy and jealousy are at the root of the never trumpers and the Dems’ toxic hate and malice. It is one of the most lamentable of all human failings because it is at the root of so much evil that has pervaded human society since the Garden of Eden . It is vile and base and unfitting for the children of God . It throws in with the demon and his fallen angels . It’s presence predicts the sure outcome of failure and disaster in almost every situation. From the very beginning Mr Trump showed the nobility of wishing well to everyone , even his enemies . He is showing us that to strive for truth and beauty and to seek the good for others is the key to success and a happy , fulfilled life. Even if they destroy his presidency and attempt to thwart every good thing he proposes , our President will continue to teach us the lessons of patience and fortitude. You can never keep a good man down , cliche but so true . Avoid the sin of jealousy and envy with every fiber of your being , it paves the road to perdition and misery .

It’s a nice gesture, and I know Trump is great at winning people over and making friends; but please don’t trust Sen Schumer. Remember when they found his emails after the firewall between the Repubs and dems on the senate IC wasn’t working? Schumer’s plot was to play nice, drag repubs along as far as they would go, then “pull the trigger”. He’s still a snake. “Take me in oh tender POTUS”. Don’t do it.

Trumps known Schemer forever. They grew up in the same neighborhood in Queens together and their families knew each other. It’s sad the DNC base is so toxic that Chuck can’t work with his old friend. They could make some great bills.
