Occam’s Razor – If You Listen To Every Nunes Public Statement in Sequence…

If you listen to Intel Committee Chair Devin Nunes public interviews in the exact time-line sequence, from March 22nd to now, a clear picture emerges.

The “tipster” source is unknown. However, the actual intelligence report(s) he reviewed, which contained the unmasked surveillance information, was simply President Obama’s daily intelligence Briefing(s).

It appears, most likely, someone (aka mysterious tipster), simply told Nunes which dates to review.  Hence the Executive Branch SCIF was utilized.  The ACTUAL intelligence product itself was the Executive Office Presidential Daily Intelligence Briefing.

Most likely a Clapper (ODNI), Rogers (NSA), Comey (FBI Counter Intel), and Brennan (CIA) work product.  Remember, President Obama preferred written intel briefings which he reviewed from his secure iPad.

Reconciling the intelligence report that Nunes reviewed was actually the Presidential Daily Briefing (intel work product) also explains all the variant political concern angles.

I think our Potus is just the type of leader to read all of the intelligence reports leading up to his presidency. Just like we would hope he would do. It was likely the first thing he did. Why it was the one of the biggest things Bush was criticized for supposedly not having done. Understanding this would pretty much eliminate all the nefarious arguments of the left. Nunes may have been told to review it several people removed. ….Or maybe it dawned on him how the Potus might know.

If our Potus was reading the same briefings as Obumbler wouldn’t he have seen that he and his team were under surveillance? Did the ICs give Obumbler and PETrump different intelligence briefings?

If I understand it correctly, the theory is that Trump wasn’t given the same daily briefings as Obama, precisely to hide the fact of the surveillance and unmasking. Separate daily briefings would also explains why Nunes had to go to the WH SCIF room to make sure he was seeing the same briefings Obama saw.

I agree, Angryduc … On Januaty 20th, President Trump would have had the clearance to read every daily briefing from President Obama’s entire 8 years. And I don’t believe anyone would have needed to prompt him to do this.

Interesting that the NSA leader is highlighted in yellow. I recognize that the NSA would have the most to lose if he doesn’t proactively defend the NSA global data collection program by outing someone as the leaker and political activist. Otherwise the results could be the dismantling of the program in part or in whole.

There is a story on Politico.com about Trump not letting McMaster sideline Ezra Cohen-Watnick. Cohen-Warnick is a 30 intelligence operative who was brought to the Trump transition team by Lt. Gen. Flynn. Cohen-Warnick fell out of favor with the CIA. Start connecting the dots.

I have serious misgivings about both McMaster AND Mattis now. Their stand(s) against Islam sure not what I thought they were going to be, either of them. As was pointed out to me, however, all evidence/referral to militant/radical/terrorist Islam was removed from military manuals, etc., back by Bush 2, and then made worse by Obozo, so these military people are totally brainwashed, all the way to the top, period. I do not think that was the case with Flynn, which is most likely why they wanted to get rid of him.

Completely correct. They are Bush and Obama generals. Each has one battle victory in their background. Neither have the America First philosophy. They accepted the notion that Obama sold about Islam. They preach it and teach it. Both are solid think tank-infused Russophobes.

It’s hard to think this way, but some of our military isn’t ideologically neutral. They are products of indoctrination, corruption (MIC) and separate from thinking America First. They think Hegemony. That is not an American concept. It is a globalist military doctrine. They conflate American Exceptionalism, which really is a sub-set of our own view of ourselves, not a universal truth. In fact the world despises that when we throw it in their face. But worse sin of all is hegemony. It is what we rationalize in order to spend ourselves into debt and put up with corruption in MIC in order to create weapons systems to “project” our power all over the globe.

Trump won because he said: “No more”. Of course, once Flynn was out, so too, the policy. Trump has had to just give the foreign policy to the Pentagon and IC. He is totally try to gain traction with domestic policy.

But these generals are like many of our military leadership. The “grew up” in their careers losing wars and saying they won. They won’t cooperate with Russia. They want to “contain China” and they are working against the grain of the will of American people and the philosophy of President Trump.

Mattis is laying the groundwork in Syria of a clash with Turkey-Iran-Russia-Syria over the Kurds forming a separate entity on Syrian soil.

More war and more PC about radical Islamic Terror is just what we’ve been bedeviled with for 16 years. It is a self-perpetuating loop of failure.

If he hasn’t already, maybe it’s time for Trump to reinstate some know-your-enemy classes for all military, federal LE and intel. Under Bush and Obama, the whole Muslim ideology coddling was a plain old, dangerous dereliction of duty, as well as submission to Shariah’s blasphemy laws. Crank the truth back up. There are plenty of good experts on Islamic doctrine who got canned by Bush and Obama still around. Call ’em up and get back in the saddle. There’s no excuse anymore for generals or other officials to still be propagating Islamic baloney.

Russia, I don’t know as much about, but I know I don’t want war and do want truth.

All part of plea agreements. That’s if, IF they provide names of folks that knew what was going on. Squeeze ’em all good and plenty. This goes for Hillary’s staff and her server firm and aides. Round up all you can from the Obama 8 years and deny them the only life they know. Politics and influence. Hard to start riots if the perps got probation instead of 20 years in Federal lock up. The incompetence and malfeasance of judges in a city such as Chicago has to be seen to be believed.
The sentencing of the murderers and thugs that prey on the west and south side black communities is outrageous; guaranteed to perpetuate the heartbreaking destruction of those communities. It’s as if these judges empathize with the criminals and not with the families trying desperately to raise their children in those neighborhoods.

Living near an Indian reservation with loads of federal cash the town was seeing murders nearly every week. The Sheriff dealt out justice to the point the bad eggs moved out of the city and county. The citizens with the help of the Sheriffs Dept. put so much pressure on them they moved to different parts of the state where they could continue their crime spree.

Losing Seal Team Six and the compromised operation in Yemen, the exposure of the Awan brothers, plus the illegal surveillance of his residence and family would light a YUGE fire of hot/cold anger in our Mr. President Trump – righteous anger that would foment all manner of determination in a man capable of understanding enormous complexities, strategies, timelines, people and motivations.

Guess the author time. It will amaze you. I ran across this writer while researching. A clue….early 90’s. No it is not Nostradamus. He was published in the NYT in his only book:)

Leftists tend to hate anything that has an image of being strong, good and successful. They hate America, they hate Western civilization, they hate white males, they hate rationality. The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They SAY they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them, or at best he GRUDGINGLY admits that they exist; whereas he ENTHUSIASTICALLY points out (and often greatly exaggerates) these faults where they appear in Western civilization. Thus it is clear that these faults are not the leftist’s real motive for hating America and the West. He hates America and the West because they are strong and successful.

Modern leftish philosophers tend to dismiss reason, science, objective reality and to insist that everything is culturally relative. It is true that one can ask serious questions about the foundations of scientific knowledge and about how, if at all, the concept of objective reality can be defined. But it is obvious that modern leftish philosophers are not simply cool-headed logicians systematically analyzing the foundations of knowledge. They are deeply involved emotionally in their attack on truth and reality. They attack these concepts because of their own psychological needs. For one thing, their attack is an outlet for hostility, and, to the extent that it is successful, it satisfies the drive for power. More importantly, the leftist hates science and rationality because they classify certain beliefs as true (i.e., successful, superior) and other beliefs as false (i.e., failed, inferior). The leftist’s feelings of inferiority run so deep that he cannot tolerate any classification of some things as successful or superior and other things as failed or inferior. This also underlies the rejection by many leftists of the concept of mental illness and of the utility of IQ tests. Leftists are antagonistic to genetic explanations of human abilities or behavior because such explanations tend to make some persons appear superior or inferior to others. Leftists prefer to give society the credit or blame for an individual’s ability or lack of it. Thus if a person is “inferior” it is not his fault, but society’s, because he has not been brought up properly.

Democratic super-lobbyist Tony Podesta grossed more than $500,000 to represent a Chinese company criminally convicted in March of sending illegal shipments of telecom equipment to Iran, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned…

While Podesta was lobbying the Obama administration, his brother, John Podesta, was campaign chairman of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential run. The brothers’ relationship meant Tony had special clout within the Obama administration as ZTE’s negotiations with DOJ progressed.

Podesta also had personal connections throughout the Democratic Party. He was former President Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign director and worked for four prior Democratic candidates, including former Sens. George McGovern, Edward Kennedy and Walter Mondale, as well as former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis…

The firm reported its activities to the clerk of the U.S. Senate, including actively lobbying officials at the departments of Justice, Commerce, Treasury and State, as well as the White House National Security Council (NSC).

Podesta did not report his representation of ZTE to DOJ under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and reports to the Senate clerk are much less detailed than those required under FARA.

Last year, Podesta also avoided FARA regulations with another foreign-based client, Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank. Podesta received $170,000 for six months of work as he sought to lift U.S. economic sanctions then weighing on the Russian bank, but did not report it under FARA, as reported by TheDCNF on March 6 and March 7.

This is why spying on Nominated-Candidate or President-Elect Trump ( or anyone else in his position ) is a special circumstance, uniquely different than spying on any other domestic party. It is above any FISA discussion.

I would think that no-one except the President himself is technically cleared to “spy” on Nominated-Candidate or President-Elect Trump because no-one is equally cleared to hear what they might hear or see what they might see. This is something that deep state can not get around and why any spying on Trump is espionage.

You cannot unring a bell and now thanks to that 17-agency executive order there are lots of extra people who likely were exposed to information they were never cleared to see or hear. This whole idea of spying on him was a ludicrous idea and treasonous in practice, because had it been the Russians, or Brits or Greeks or Martians accessing the same information they would see it entirely differently. Or is you substitute $hillary as President-Elect and Russians accessed this information, well we know what that would mean.

Now I’m wondering if obo boy himself isn’t personally guilty of espionage by forcing out possible classified information to all 17 agencies and consequently to many of those who were not approved to view classified information as well as the news agencies it was leaked to. After all he is the one who gave carte blanche to all of them, and he thinks he can escape by doing that at the last minute and then leaving for who-knows-where. That means Lynch is guilty too as she signed the order. Together they are a two-headed snake right up there at the top which it seems everybody stops short of accusing.

DJT must be frustrated that he can’t defend himself because it would reveal classified information so his hands are tied. All he can do is send out hints in the form of tweets and all we can do is “guess” at what he means.

obo boy, in hiding at the moment, was so bent on destroying DJT, he destroyed himself instead. There should be a special cell in Gitmo with his name engraved on it and one for Lynch too.

SCIF in Trump Tower was probably a tent version used in January, the 6th, when he got big briefing about Russian crap from Clapper, FBI, etc. They had no SCIF in the Building before that. They went to DC to get the earlier weekly PDBs.

Thus, there was no “safe place” for Rogers to speak to Trump in his November meeting.

The PDBs were taken by Pence most of the time. Flynn said they were filled with lies and distortions and Trump got Flynn’s briefings on critical matters. That was reported all along.
Flynn was always with Trump on all briefings. So he knew the CIA briefer was feeding the Obama line on crucial issues.

Flynn and Clapper had a prior history and Flynn certainly knew Ash Carter was garbage n the Pentagon.

Flynn was exactly what all American’s wanted as the top guy for IC. He had a long history of speaking truth to power, didn’t care about reputation, wanted to save lives of our fighting men and women, understood all the machinations of the CIA, State Dept, Pentagon and our “coalition” allies, and the devastation of using radical Islamic proxies in the terror wars and using nazis in the war in Ukraine.

They had to get him out because the Trillions were going to dry up. Flynn had the goods on everyone.

No way. Billionaire international businessman with planes and limos and other things, not to mention close association with Flynn during the campaign who knows of these things personally, and a long history of knowledgeable friends from Rudy Giuliani to Roy Cohn to Roger Stone and hundreds more we don’t see. He has had that building a very long time too and made massive renovations even between floors in his multi-floor suite.

So Trump Tower might not have a standard-issue by-the-numbers secure room with exploitable loopholes by the “trustworthy” designers. More likely he had something different, more secure through obscurity, developed from private research and unknown to the bureaucrats. Same goes for Gates, Bezos, Ellison and all the rest in their mansions.

And then there is always Plan-B you know. Impromptu meetings in the elevator with the muzak blasting.

There would appear to be latitude in determining what a President elect sees.
Although the original publication date is 1996 it seems to have been reprinted in 2012 and probably only relates to CIA, but it may not be unreasonable to assume other agencies act in kind.

      Covert Action Briefing
Senior intelligence officials have never been of one mind regarding the best time to brief incoming presidents and other senior executive branch officials on covert action programs and other very sensitive operations. One line of reasoning is that it is best to hold off on such briefings until the new president and administration have their feet on the ground, unless urgent developments dictate otherwise. The alternative perspective is that it is impossible to foresee what might happen on a president’s first day in office and that they should at least have been alerted to the existence of all such programs in case sudden developments force them to make policy or military decisions involving those programs.

There was no “Smoking Gun Tape” because (even after Halderman relayed Dean’s lie’s about what Mitchell wanted) Nixon (through who turned out to be Deep Throat!) directed (it never happened) the FBI to stop looking into a CIA Mexican Bank because of the CIA Cuban involvements … which were actual National Security issues! The mainstream media relayed the CIA’s ruse because of their anti-war sentiments. So, the real Watergate story was very similar to today’s Deep State attempt to overthrow Donald Trump.

Concur. We have had deconfliction since Sept. 30, 2015. The Russians have a center for coordination in Iraq where the lower ranked officers, colonels and maybe some generals, talk all the time. The proposal from the meeting a week or two ago was to raise it to Three-star ranks talking. The US didn’t go for that.

The reason other nations n MENA are asking for help from Russia is the Russians know what to do, how to do it and respect other nations sovereignty. Also, the Russians have developed the systems and the Intel to destroy the terrorists and the immediate on-the-ground humanitarian, medical and food, assistance. They also use Chechen (Sunni) Military Police which helps them with the population in crisis. They also use negotiation to get local “stand down” agreements so the fighters and families can leave the battlefield in safety. Conflict resolution saves lives. Then they bring in sappers with dogs and robots to de-mine the neighborhoods and fields.

And they do it without spending Trillions. They are cutting their military budget 25% this year. Imagine what they are involved with, yet cutting their budget!

We can’t imagine it. In the US, we have come to expect Trillions expended, not reductions in the massive waste and corruption.

Trump is correct to move forward with his agenda. Stopping to wage war is not the best strategy. A war is made up of battles and Trump is wise to fight this horror one step at a time, win or lose. First off … I think many are under the inclination that it was Brennan (CIA) and Clapper (DNI) that requested Obama remove Mike Rogers (NSA) from his post. It was not, it was Ash Carter (DOD, Defense Sec) and Clapper. However, Brennan may have signed off on the recommendation later or at least did not say otherwise to keep Rogers.

I believe Ash Carter needs to be placed into this equation, along with Brennan, Clapper, Comey and Rogers. After all, if one opens the link provided by Sundance to the WaPo article – it was Ash Carter, after gaining the position of Defense Sec, that recommended Adm Rogers removal.

Ash Carter is an interesting person and has been around for a long time, starting in the Reagan and GHW Bush Admin and served in the Bill Clinton Admin (Asst Sec of Defense for Intern’l Security Policy 1990 to ’93). Under Obama, Carter served as the Pentagon’s chief weapons buyer, and then as the deputy Defense Sec, before being promoted to Defense Sec. Ash Carter has worked under 11 previous Pentagon chiefs. Carter made a point of publicly thanking two longtime mentors “who symbolize constancy and strength in national security circles”, Brent Scowcroft, who served as National Security Advisor under Ford and GHW Bush, and William Perry, who headed the Pentagon under Clinton. The plot thickens …

In the G ‘W’ Bush Admin … Carter and Deutch (CIA) co-chaired the Catastrophic Terrorism Study Group which urged greater attention to terrorism. Carter, Deutch and Philip Zelikow (later executive director of the 9/11 Commission) published article’s together in Foreign Affairs. He served on the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Science and Technology for Countering Terrorism, and advised on the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Ash was also a member of SOS Rice’s International Security Advisory Board; co-chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s Policy Advisory Group and more ‘swamp creature’ assignments.

One has to go back to many of then candidate Trump on the campaign trail and even his previous statements before announcing his presidential bid.
First, what was he told his children? No Drugs. Then his various interviews and statements for his disdain for child molesters and his assessment of 9/11.

On the campaign trail President Trump routinely talked about the heroin and drug epidemic and how it was coming in and the links to the cartels. “No Drugs” …
Now, when Cruz thought he would be cute and antagonize candidate Trump for his ‘New York Values’ – Trump went off on him and totally embarrassed Cruz and in my estimation this was the start of the end of the Cruz campaign. Then let us remember, Trump jumping down Jeb Bush’s neck when “My brother kept us safe.” B/S … Candidate Trump reminded America that it was on ‘brother GW Bush’ tenure that the Towers and NY was attacked and hung the Iraq War around the drowning Jeb’s neck …

Now, one has to think about the reoccurring theme within both the Bush’s, Bill Clinton and Obama Admin’s … They are CIA warmongering and clandestine Pentagon mercenary operations and how they fund them … The international drug trade.

The term ‘conspiracy theory’ was brought forth and first used during the JFK Warren Commission Report.
CIA Document 1035-960: Foundation of a Weaponized Term –
“Conspiracy theory” is a term that at once strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs.
In the groundswell of public skepticism toward the Warren Commission’s findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the CIA sent a detailed directive to all of its bureaus. Titled “Countering Criticism of the Warren Commission Report,” the dispatch played a definitive role in making the “conspiracy theory” term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question.
