Occam’s Razor – Did NSA Admiral Mike Rogers Warn Trump On November 17th, 2016?…

Sometimes the utilization of Timelines means you have to look at the new information with a keen awareness of specific events.   In hindsight, NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers may have notified Team Trump of Obama’s Intelligence Community (James Clapper and John Brennan) spying on their activity.

As you look at the FISA request dates below, it’s important to note that NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers would be keenly aware of both the June request – Denied, and the October request – Granted.  Pay specific attention to the October request. “October”!.

clapper-comey-rogers-brennan-1

June 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration files a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers. The request, uncharacteristically, is denied.

October 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.

♦ On Tuesday November 8th, 2016 the election was held.  Results announced Wednesday November 9th, 2016.

NSA Director Rogers participates in session at Intelligence and National Security Summit in Washington♦ On Thursday November 17th, 2016, NSA Director Mike Rogers traveled to New York and met with President-Elect Donald Trump.

♦ On Friday November 18th The Washington Post reported on a recommendation in “October” that Mike Rogers be removed from his NSA position:

The heads of the Pentagon and the nation’s intelligence community have recommended to President Obama that the director of the National Security Agency, Adm. Michael S. Rogers, be removed.

The recommendation, delivered to the White House last month, was made by Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter and Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., according to several U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

[…]  In a move apparently unprecedented for a military officer, Rogers, without notifying superiors, traveled to New York to meet with Trump on Thursday at Trump Tower. That caused consternation at senior levels of the administration, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal personnel matters. (link)

Remember, historically The Washington Post is the preferred outlet for the CIA and Intelligence Community within Deep State to dump their “leaks” and stories.  The State Department “leaks” to CNN for the same purposes.

♦ On Saturday November 19th Reuters reported on the WaPo Story and additional pressure by Defense Secretary Ash Carter and DNI James Clapper to fire Mike Rogers.

[…]  The Washington Post reported that a decision by Rogers to travel to New York to meet with Trump on Thursday without notifying superiors caused consternation at senior levels of the administration, but the recommendation to remove him predated his visit.  (link)

  1. The Intelligence Community -at the direction of President Obama- made a request to a FISA court for the NSA to spy on Donald Trump in June 2016.  It was denied.
  2. In October the Intelligence Community (NSA) -at the direction of President Obama- made a second request to the FISA court for the NSA to spy on Donald Trump.  It was approved.
  3. At around the same time (October), as the second request to FISA, (Def Sec) Ash Carter and (DNI) James Clapper tell President Obama to dump NSA Director Mike Rogers.
  4. A week after the election, Mike Rogers makes a trip to Trump Tower without telling his superior, James Clapper; which brings about new calls (November media leaks to WaPo) for President Obama to dump Mike Rogers.

Occam’s Razor.  NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers didn’t want to participate in the spying scheme (Clapper, Brennan, Etc.), which was the baseline for President Obama’s post presidency efforts to undermine Donald Trump and keep Trump from digging into the Obama labyrinth underlying his remaining loyalists.  After the October spying operation went into effect, Rogers unknown loyalty was a risk to the Obama objective.  10 Days after the election Rogers travels to President-Elect Trump without notifying those who were involved in the intel scheme.

Did NSA Director Mike Rogers wait for a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) to be set up in Trump Tower, and then notify the President-elect he was being monitored by President Obama?

….Seems likely.

benghazi 1

Mike Rogers - CNNInterestingly, at the EXACT SAME TIME, just before NSA Rogers visited Trump Tower, another Mike Rogers – the former House intelligence Chairman who retired after lying about the Benghazi fiasco – was kicked off the Trump transition team on intelligence.  No one could figure out why he was kicked out.  However, if you’ve read the Benghazi Brief you know how damaged, corrupted and untrustworthy Chairman Mike Rogers was – as he previously sat on the oversight gang of eight.

If I were a wagering person, I’d say NSA Rogers was only going to meet with President-Elect Trump if the ears of the corrupted, dangerous and easily blackmailed Mike Rogers were gone.

In the DC Swamp everyone has “black files” on everyone else, and they use them for leverage.  The thicker the file the more leverage is carried by the holder.  Swamp leverage is blackmail material which is traded like currency to achieve goals and objectives.   That’s why the Clinton’s and Obama’s are so at home there.

….That reality is also why President Trump is a risk, because no-one has leverage on him; and additionally the reason why military outsiders are viewed more favorably by Trump.

The problem with the NSA has never been to the average Joe directly. The problem is the use of the info to control and blackmail political opponents and their close associates to leverage them.

Then it becomes a problem for the average Joe, trickle down spying effects..

Did Obama use this kind of “leverage” on Justice Roberts for his votes enabling Obamacare to become law. In fact isn’t this the way The Democrats, since Clinton, have been able to get everything they want pushed through Congress and the Judiciary?

Read the obamacare opinion, if you haven’t. It’s full of breadcrumbs. The “voice” of the person writing it says a lot too. “Under duress” always comes to mind when I think about it.

Someday, I hope Roberts will tell the story. He may not be clean as a whistle, but something was wrong that day and for many other days.

I’m not talking about the video. It was a photo I saw of them together either right before or right after the ceremony. I’ve searched the web but I can’t find the photo. However, it will always be stuck in my mind because I remember being shocked at how buddy-buddy they looked together, both with S-eating grins like they had just pulled one over on the American people. I wish I had saved the photo so you could see what I’m talking about. Just my instincts, but they have served me well.

They did this to KEEP a presence there under the guise of a FISA. The norm would have been to conduct your so called investigation, once satisfied there was no issue, the monitoring is suspended. This FISA was the Trojan Horse. My instincts tell me that in October of last year they KNEW Trump was going to win.. ( who didn’t !) ..thus the second request in October. Nixon got nailed on this..ie.secrecy of the break in etc ) . Obama and CO did this is broad daylight sanctioned by NSA and The DIA.

Unfortunately, our struggle to escape from dystopia is really happening, and I doubt any of us will be able to spare the time and energy to create any opera cycles for a while.

We certainly hope you are correct. I doubt that Trump is squeaky clean, and so I hope that whatever dirt there is on him is of little consequence, or that he’s able to manage those who have it. So far that would seem to be the case since Trump’s enemies seem focused on attacking his subordinates rather than Trump directly. We didn’t elect him with any expectation he was perfect, just the belief that he was the best for the job.

        • You’re not thinking this through. There IS NO valid connection with Russia-Trump, but they have had PLENTY time to create it. That’s what they are doing. Fake or not. Watch & see. As I said below, with Sessions recusing, they can ‘find’ whatever they want to take Trump out. Trump is in a den of evil, and they are going to find a way to get him out. Unless he gets them 1st. One of the reasons I think he comes to MAL, is because he knows he’s not being spied on.

They did try to manufacture leverage with the dossier story and that did blow up in their faces. Trump stuck the moniker of “fake news” on CNN and Buzzfeed over the dossier attempt and “fake news” has been orders of magnitude more successful than “Lyin Ted” or “Crooked Hillary”.

They won’t touch Trump directly, at least until they can remove more of his inner circle. I was thinking through what Sessions’s recusal means, and I don’t think it means that they will go after Trump. What I think it means instead is they will be better able to protect their fellow swamp dwellers against legal action. We have already seen an instance of this with Obama appointee Sally Yates refusing to defend President Trump’s executive order. If Trump opens legal action against Hillary, leakers, Muslim infiltrators, etc and Sessions has to recuse himself, whoever takes on the case in Sessions’s place will be decidedly less enthusiastic about making a case and taking down their fellow swamp dwellers.

If I am not mistaken, AG Jeff Sessions still has yet to name an Assistant AG. The Obama holdover is just that. I believe the Senate has to approve, yet, there is no reason why the current appointment cannot be fired and an acting Assistant AG be determined from any position that the Senate has already previously approved.

I still believe the Trump Administration is allowing this on purpose. The Barium Test.

You are missing a couple of possibilities…PDJT’s inner circle has not been compromised. I still believe General Flyn was a mole hunter and eithe sacrificed himself or was just smoke and mirrors to instigate the Barium test. Done.

Inner circle is fine. No one is budging, and any recusal could mean a worse honey badger becoming the next AG deputy.

Sally Yates was the first sacrifice. Amazingly, she just got caught because she exposed a leak but it is apparently a false one. Sally was reciting someone else’s account. She had not read the original. Had she, she would not have leaked it. Remember, the FBI said nothing on the transcript was an issue. This may have been a set up for her by the Trump Administration. Please let me know your thoughts.

No one is budging. President Trump is publicly defending AG Sessions much more strongly than he did General Flynn. As far as Sally Yates goes, the popularly understood reason she got the axe was because she defied President Trump on the travel ban. I’m not sure what role the leaks played in her dismissal, but her name does keep popping up with respect to leaks.

Also, the deputy AG would need to be confirmed by Congress, and if AG Sessions had such vitriol thrown at him during his confirmation hearings, it will at best be very difficult for a worse honey badger to be allowed to have a top post at the DOJ. It seems Rod Rosenstein will have his confirmation hearing for deputy AG next week. I don’t know much about him, but from what I’ve been reading about him they are making him sound like he is a worse honey badger so we’ll have to see if he makes it through confirmation.

The left know that their base is to dumb and to hateful to care about the truth. All the left needs to do, is show anything that deals with Russia in those tax returns and their sheep will go nuts. It will backfire on them though, because NBC co-owned the pageant with Trump. If that pageant was the sorce of anything significant, then the left would have brought it out before the election.

I’ve got the feeling that time is running out if the Trump Administration (Bannon, Conway et al) wants to keep The Obama-Clinton machine from deploying their biggest guns. They have to be stopped now, otherwise Trump will see he won’t have time for governing but to keep defending himself from attacks. The first 2 weeks did not gave anybody too much time to think and re-evaluate. Another round of Breakneck-speed-governing could be of help…

    • To feralcatsblog ref your sentence “Unfortunately Mattis looks very much like an insider or he would not want Anne “Obama/Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas” Patterson as his main policy person.”

I refer you to the article posted by Sundance a couple of years ago that I think is related to Pres Trump’s strategy in the Middle East. If so, Mattis wanting Anne Patterson makes a lot of sense.

      https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/07/31/the-new-mid-east-alliances-egypt-saudi-arabia-and-jordan-support-israel-against-hamas-muslim-brotherhood/

My take is that President Trump’s administration is trying to forge a relationship with those Muslim countries (like Jordan) who wish to eradicate ISIS and who want a peaceful relationship with Israel. (Remember, Egypt and Jordan have had pretty good relations with Israel for quite some time). An “alliance” of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and U.S. might just be what Pres Trump is looking for to stabilize that area.

Pizzagate a Mossad operation to control politicians through blackmail??

We need to clean up the pizzatgate blackmail operation and destroy ISIS.
Take-down all politicians controlled by Soros (McCain, etc)
Continue to support Israel, even with the pizzagate(if they are running it).
Promote peaceful relations with Muslim countries to facilitate strong co-operation against terrorism.

I wonder if Admiral Rogers’s black files are why Obama couldn’t fire him even after Clapper and Carter recommended it to Obama. Because Obama couldn’t fire him, Admiral Rogers is still leading the NSA. If Admiral Rogers warned Trump against Clapper and Brennan, then President Trump has a powerful ally at the NSA in Admiral Rogers.

Could this also be why shortly before leaving office Obama authorized the NSA to share more information with the rest of the intelligence community? If Obama knew that NSA Director Rogers would be helping Trump, his order could enable more swamp-friendly corners of the Intelligence Community to anticipate President Trump’s and Director Rogers’s moves against them. Could this be why it’s taken so long to find the leakers, because they’ve been getting advance warning of moves against them?

    Lots of intrigue here…

It all makes sense. It’s tight and tidy.
The question then doubles on why Flynn was let go.
Flynn knew he was a the prime target.
A clever ruse to let him go?
It has completely gutted all foreign policy and Intel service reform, caused the backtracking to let CIA back to the top, and stands in the way of DNI being diminished.
Nothing good has flowed since Flynn left.

The NSC and all the advisors are all Bush-like.

Knowing what was going on certainly hasn’t stopped the attack on Trump’s policies and appointees.
Knowing the details for months, yet no defenses, no identifying culprits,

Some folks think this is rope-a-dope.

We have one hope left. That the Feds, once we have DOJ fully staffed, can make a case against the conspirators. Since it was done at the highest level, all legal, and only the leaks are illegal, if that can be proved, it is not going to the core of the conspiracy.

So, what is the other side of the fact that Trump “knew”?

So far we see nothing. And it is hard to see anything coming of it down the line.
Since he came down the escalator he has been a very gentle giant.
He refused to prosecute violent protestors at rallies.
He has let go of no one except Mike Flynn.
Hell, he changed campaign managers because he needed to.
Yet, we see no clean out anywhere, not even cleaning out Obama’s people.

Look at it this way. The reason the left is doubling down over and over on the Russia story is precisely because it’s completely fake and goes absolutely nowhere. Just smoke and mirrors and dead ends. They know that, and they know we know that, but if the Russia story were to disappear, people would start talking about other real stories that DO go places. Interesting places that they don’t want anyone to know about. So, it’s Russia Russia Russia, because no matter how much newsprint and air time is devoted to Russia, it will never go anywhere and will produce no revelations. And that’s the real purpose of the Russia story.

That’s the question that’s been in the back of my mind all this time. One of the things the Trump presidency is illustrating is just how difficult it is for an insurgent outsider to govern as President. If Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush were taking office, they would have hundreds if not thousands of policy-experienced party loyalists ready to jump in, fill those jobs and start implementing the agenda of their respective party. Trump doesn’t have that gigantic political machine to fall back on. He has to find people he can trust one by one which is why it’s taking him a lot longer to actually take control of the government. He definitely has the skill to do it, and I see it slowly happening, but make no mistake, no other president in our lifetime has ever faced more of a challenge in establishing an administration. Perhaps no other president in the history of our country.

You know how in open-range cattle country, the long-horns wandered wild. When the time came to gather the herd to drive to market, a large crew would go out in a miles-wide circle and would spend days flushing out the cattle and spanking them in the direction of a pre-arranged gathering point – a kind of natural bowl, where forage and water were provided. Each night a crew would patrol the rim to keep any from wandering out. When sufficient had been rounded up, all were called in to drive the herd to market.

I think Trump’s team, under his generalship, will be shaping up the herd to drive to slaughter, when the time is ripe.
