There are times when people state our optimism in the 2016 presidential election is missing the required amount of caution or concern.  However, what many of those voices don’t realize is the research-based reasoning for our outlook.
If you tune out the media noise, look around and pay close attention, you can see the groundwork for an epic landslide everywhere.

The historical playbook of the oppositional left (for sake of expediency Democrats) has always been to carve the larger electorate into smaller, more manageable, sub categories they call “interest groups”.  Those groups are then micro-targeted with campaign messaging tailored to their self-interest; and historically they have been successful.
The traditional method to countering this approach (pushed by a set of political consultants who genuinely think they understand, but factually are wrong) has been to apply the same strategic targeting -campaign message- back upon the carved out, by tailoring a counter ideological message to their needs.
Essentially, the counter approach of the Republican party, for the past two+ decades, has been to accept the principles within the Democrat division and then fight them on the same battle space, for the same micro-constituency.
We see this approach play out every election.  We also saw Team Romney accept the battle space within the 47% statement recorded during a campaign fundraiser.   In essence Romney, like those before him, was accepting the political geography created by the institutional left and making his argument for how his campaign would challenge it.
CTH readers will note we have continually held the opinion this is ABSOLUTELY the wrong approach.  Accepting the geography of opposition’s ideological battle, is the fundamental flaw in the currently popular political consulting class.
When you recognize that Trump is shattering this “interest group” electoral approach, you realize how fundamentally Donald Trump is upsetting the current paradigm.
Donald Trump is the first modern-era politician to refuse the micro-targeting approach. While the articulation is not there to explain it, the Donald Trump approach is inherent in his life’s work.  Create the most broad brand appeal possible.   Cast your consumer/customer net over the widest possible audience.
Because Trump is taking a completely divergent approach, many are referencing the campaign from the wrong perspectives.   Trump is not “micro-targeting” small segments of the population/electorate,  he’s “macro-targeting” the entire American electorate.
Clinton is using the Alinsky divide-and-conquer campaign book broken down into chapters, sub chapters, and sub-sub-categories.   Example:
♦Women
• White, women
• Young, white, women
• Single, young, white, women
• Under 50, single, young, white, women
• Michigan, under 50, single, young, white, women
See how it works?  Micro-micro-micro-targeting in the era of modern political consulting.
Again, the Republican approach has always been to either: a.) Dismiss the micro-constituency (at a specific point) because it’s a constituency too far away to win back, or, b.) Tailor a message to try and counter the ideological pull within the divided ranks.

Donald Trump is not taking that approach.  Instead he’s sending out a broad-based message to “American Women” – F.U.L.L.S.T.O.P.
Young or old, black or white, North-east or Mid-west, it’s the same message.  Economics, security, quality of life, family, education, empowerment, freedom, etc.
This honest ‘I’m-not-going-to-pander-to-you approach‘ might only pull small numbers from within each divided group, but when you add all those percentages within the non-divided groups together you end up with:

E pluribus unum: “out of many, one”.

One principle. One Message. One Constituency.  American Women.
When you fully understand this approach, we mean really understand this common sense approach, you recognize how far away it is from the professional academic political teachings of the past two plus decades.
When you fully understand this approach, you also then begin to see, without the blinders of current political doctrine, just how large the possible constituency is.  This is the fundamental building bloc for the Monster Vote because there is an element within every micro-audience where all have a vested interest in success.

Some keen observers are just now, unwillingly, beginning to nibble around the edges and understand what this new landscape is all about.
This November election will not be a close contest.

I love our team.
Truly. I mean that.
Our side is awesome.
Our side is fun.
We are The Rebel Alliance.
Our presidential candidate is the counter-culture figure of an entire generation…. weirdly, because he’s an unashamed American.
Go Figure.
How does the progressive left run an election against someone who is intensely proud to be well, just simply, American? …While the progressive left is, at it’s core, adverse to all things that exemplify American Exceptionalism?
The only arrows in the progressive quiver are: division, anger, misery, bitterness and blame casting.
Meanwhile, Trump supporters have continually reflected: unity, joy, fellowship, freedom and yes, monster vote resolve.
