Within a recent Washington Post article, describing all of the various Ted Cruz Super-PAC’s activities, the following paragraph sticks out (emphasis mine):
[…] At least eight independent political groups are jockeying to support Cruz now that he has risen in the polls as perhaps the strongest challenger to frontrunner Donald Trump. The dynamic has confused wealthy donors and brought disarray to the otherwise orderly political operation that surrounds the freshman senator from Texas.
[…] Meanwhile, other groups are jumping in with their own efforts. A Missouri-based super PAC called Courageous Conservatives, whose consultant accused Keep the Promise of being “wimpy,” has been running radio ads in Iowa lambasting Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida. And on Dec. 31, a low-profile group called Americans for Cruz filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission, providing only the address of a UPS store in Arlington, Va., as its location. So far, it has spent $200,000 on voter phone calls in the early nominating states, according to FEC filings. (link)
“Americans for Cruz” run by Kyle Manning, initially sent in their FEC filing documents mid-December (old trick utilizing Holidays to delay disclosure). Committee ID : C00600882 From a Post office box in Arlington Virginia, with additional addresses connected to financial accounts in Akron Ohio.

The FEC assigned their Committee ID on December 31st. From the WaPo article you will note the initial spending of $200,000 for “voter phone calls”.
Three expenditures to the same organization, “Infocision Management Corporation” also located in Akron Ohio (same locale as financial account First Merit Bank) for $80,000, $80,000 and $40,000 a total of $200,000.

So it would appear the Pro-Cruz SuperPAC “Americans for Cruz” is paying for negative Push-Poll and attacks against “his friend” Donald Trump in Iowa.
Tell me again all about Cruz’s “trustworthiness” and “faith-based” principles.
Yeah, spare me the pearl clutching if/when Donald Trump decides to go full wolverine !
