Hillary Clinton gave a BIG National Security Policy speech today in New York at the Council of Foreign Relations.  Everything about the event was such a significant fail, it cannot be accidental.  Everything was a fail, both the optics and the substance.

Secretary Clinton delivered an awkwardly high-school-like speech presented with a particularly concerning unfamiliarity the content.   So bizarre is the delivery that it deserves some highlight.  Here’s the full speech, but you only need to watch the first three minutes.  (Note – pay attention to the wording at 02:40 “Radical Jihadism”):

“Radical Jihadism”?  What the heck is that?

What would non-radical jihadism look like?

This is a former Secretary of State;  a person running for the office of the Presidency, and she comes up with “radical jihadism“, seriously?

If you listen to the speech it’s easy to forget that Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State during the entire origin of the crisis she is now outlining.

Clinton delivers this speech as if she is some entry level NSA clerk who has to read back dictation from the boss.  There’s enough fuel in there for a couple of dozen negative ads against her presidential ambitions.
