BREAKING: Dorian Johnson Arrested In Saint Louis – Three Days After Announcing Intent To Sue Police…

ST. LOUIS Dorian Johnson, the man who was with Michael Brown Jr. when Brown was fatally shot by a Ferguson police officer last summer, has been arrested on suspicion of drug charges and resisting arrest, St. Louis police said.

Dorian Johnson hands up

Johnson was arrested on Wednesday and police are pursuing charges. The specifics of where and when he was arrested have not yet been released.

Johnson was walking with Michael Brown Jr. on Aug. 9 when the two were approached by Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson. The encounter ended with Brown fatally shot and led to months of protests and unrest in Ferguson.

Johnson recently filed a lawsuit against the city, Wilson and former police chief Thomas Jackson.

The suit claims that Wilson assaulted Johnson, violated his constitutional rights, and intentionally and negligently inflicted emotional pain during the encounter.

The lawsuit seeks damages, including punitive, of at least $25,000. It also seeks an injunction to prevent the city of Ferguson and its police from engaging in assault, unlawful arrest and excessive use of force.  (link)

Why not sue based on his fanciful version of events. He was not called out over it.

IMO he could have been.. arguably lying to GJ. Perjury. Perhaps an accomplice in the assault on DW.. and so a contender for a felony murder charge in regards the death of MB.

    • Kin Mapper says:

Dorian was a minor accomplice to the assault on DW per Dorian’s own admissions.

Dorian appears likely to have been the “brains” behind the strong arm theft, for as I see it Dorian put the dull Mike up to it and besides went with Mike, watched Mike, left with Mike and was leading Mike (in front of Mike) down the middle of the street when perfectly and correctly noticed (even though both were black) by now truly damaged Darren Wilson (who needs to sue all the networks for failing to avoid defamation of Darren Wilson during he early weeks or months of the tragedy) by Officer Darren Wilson. From this alone it appears that Dorian was in on it (a jury issue) or an accomplice after the fact (a jury issues) probably felonies just like strong arm robbery.

I had been posting on the felony murder since this in August and probably before, some with the Missouri felony murder statute cited by number on my tweets:

“Your first sentence has been my opinion of a likely scenario ever since the possibly spurious claim of a broken or fractured bone surrounding the eye socket which I supplemented to the Dorian claim that the officer’s door ricocheted off both of them (the assault if the officer agrees on the “ricochet” having been one) Dorian is up for felony murder is my strongest speculation. All witnesses should be scrutinized for truth or for lack of possibility of truth, either side.”

Felony murder charges for Dorian seem to be sufficient to get an indictment and conviction will be a jury issue.

Dorian (and Mike Brown) deserve no less than a Dorian grand jury presentment..

‘Estopped’ right there. Johnson’s previous testimony never indicated any thing of the sort.

‘Estopped’ is a fascinating term, basically means you cannot change your testimony in a different case(s) for your own convenience.

My guess: Once Dorian realized how hard it is to keep a regular job if you’re a lazy, illiterate idiot, and how hard it is to keep selling dope if you’ve got a permanent police tail because you’re a lying, incendiary idiot, he needed funds. So he went to his lawyer bruh, and since bruh is also apparently an idiot, together they cooked up the suit against Wilson/Ferguson. And then Dorian the idiot went and got himself arrested. Classic.

I’d have to find the transcripts, but iirc, the couple in the car he hid behind both had “blacked out” and when they came to, the passenger was in back seat. I assumed it was a 2 door and passenger jumped in back so Dorian could get in front seat. The driver said something sort of oddly worded about when she spotted Dorian.

I maintain he never SAW MB get shot.

A young man, troubled, living off welfare, finds himself embroiled in a questionable death and perjures himself in front of the nation. The incredibly enlightened community activators find a job opening for the young man, gain employment for him with a Government agency, in a job that pays high wages, delivers employment stability and offers one of the best benefit packages available, and the young man throws it away, having no respect for his child or his child’s chances for a better future.
Let’s initiate Obama’s brilliant plan in this one instance and transplant a troubled youth from Baltimore into Ferguson. We’ll provide that Baltimore youth with the pay, benefits and stability offered to Dorian and stand back and watch.

    Post Dispatch updated their story…

“ST. LOUIS • Dorian Johnson, the man who was with Michael Brown when Brown was fatally shot by a Ferguson police officer last summer, has been arrested on suspicion of drug charges and resisting arrest, a St. Louis police source said Wednesday.

Police released details of an incident involving three men taken into custody after officers were called to the 5700 block of Acme Avenue at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday by someone “reporting a large group of subjects who were possibly armed with firearms.”

The police report did not name Johnson, but a police source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that the incident involved Johnson and two of his brothers. Johnson allegedly had a cough medication mixed with what police believe to be an illegal narcotic on him.

The report said that as the officers who went to the scene dispersed the crowd, they noticed that one man had a bulge in his clothes that they suspected might be a weapon. A second man grabbed the arm of the officer who attempted to pat the first man down. The officer then attempted to detain the second man.

That prompted a third man to approach the officer and yell at him in an attempt to stop the arrest, the report said. That man allegedly then discarded narcotics onto the ground.

All three were arrested. One of Johnson’s brothers was found to be wanted in Bridgeton on warrants for armed robbery and armed criminal action, the police source said.”

So let me get this straight…Mr. Johhson did not get charged for his role in the robbery involving Mike Brown. He was not charged for lying to the police when he said Brown had his hands in the air before he was fatally shot. Instead, he was rewarded with a job working for the city (how did he pass the drug test?), and now he is suing the police? But wait…before he could cash the settlement check he gets arrested for suspicion of drug charges and resisting arrest! That’s what happens when their so-called “leaders” keep telling them they can now act with impunity. These idiots start to believe it! Like my mama always told me…give people enough rope and eventually they will hang themselves. Mr. Johnson is proof of that.

Thank you, Karma for finally catching up with this guy. Keep up the good work!

    Sincerely, Society.

Dorian had a warrant for his arrest at the time both he and Brown were stopped by Wilson. The warrant was for a court date he “missed” for a case where he was caught stealing and giving the officer the wrong name. That mysteriously went away too.

Since Dorian is judgment-proof, Dorian’s big lie should be prosecuted to the extent possible but more so his involvement in stithe felony of a strong arm robbery even if there is a loss of the case by jury verdict. Unlike the prosecutor in the Jameis Winston case, most of us know it is not the rule of law to seek indictments only against those one can be sure of victory, but rather…
          .
against those one is sure of appear certain to be guilty.
          .
Jameis Winston’s victim, who reported timely and had bruisers showing and some still welling up and Jameis whose two “witnesses” told differeing versions it is said on separate occasions, deserved a presentment of the accusations to a grand jury, as do all rape victims who timely report. It shoud not require a perfect case and no 70 year old double FSU alum should be a one-man jury using the standard of lack of certainty that a successful prosecution would result.

Dorian, even more than the alleged and unacquitted as such rapist Jameis Winston, maccerits a presentment to the grand jury for the felonies of mastermind, accomplice and assault on cop (the door “ricochet” admitted the first few hours by Dorian.

If you are white, the hands were never up in the conventional meaning of Hands Up and he only spoke of shooting by perhaps saying you will not dare shoot before attempting the charge shown in a similar attempt on the “Western” in a prior season, the just-concluded “Justified” where the dumb bad guy lost in a different manner.

If you are black, my bet will be that you believe that the Hands were up, or MB had gotten on his knees or had begged to shoot, NONE OF WHICH ARE THE LEAST CREDIBLE, or nearly just as false, that the shooting of this charging cop-assaultor ws not truly…
      .
      “JUSTIFIED”

Our media has not bothered to change this misimpression that makes blacks dislike or despise WHITEY by educating that the p;c. version is false and the law-and-order one as to MB is as close to fully true as most anything can be fully true.

Then there is the Dorian dilemma when a purportedly law-and-order DA does not present his conduct to a grand jury. Folk have been sent to the electric chair on circumstantial evidence weaker than what we have on Dorian.

and look who Ferguson has hired to represent it in the DOJ investigation. Sounds like Ferguson just said “bring it”

    From the article:

Ferguson, Missouri—which was thrust into the national spotlight after the police shooting death of an unarmed black teen—has called upon Winston & Strawn chairman and litigator Dan Webb for representation related to a U.S. Department of Justice investigation of the city.
Webb’s hire follows the Justice Department’s report in March, which detailed unlawful police practices in Ferguson and subsequent instructions for reform.
“The city of Ferguson can confirm the engagement of Dan Webb as special counsel for purposes of working with the Department of Justice,” read a statement provided by the city, first issued last month. “The city of Ferguson is working with the DOJ with respect to the recommendations released last month. We are just now in the initial stages of the negotiations, and therefore it is too early to discuss specifics.”
Ferguson’s high-profile litigator won’t come cheap, with Webb’s rate pegged at an eye-popping $1,335 an hour. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch first obtained a redacted engagement letter between Webb and Ferguson, noting that Webb’s price tag is well over Missouri’s highest hourly rate last year—a mere $700 per hour.
