Don’t be distracted, lulled into complacency, or frustrated by the willful ignorance of the media majority to avoid the painful questioning.    The issues comprised by the visible and public killing of our American Ambassador, and three other patriots in Libya are a BIG EFFEN’ DEAL.   They deserve better.

Glen Doherty    –     Tyrone Woods    –    Sean Smith

There is an increasing probability Ambassador Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith were killed by the very “Rebels” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton supplied with money and arms.   Indeed, as more details emerge the actual weapons used to kill these Americans might have been provided by the very NATO support operation Secretary Clinton coordinated.

Further, in attempting to obfuscate the willful neglect in President Obama’s  Weekly Address last week, he claimed the two Navy Seals, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, were part of ambassador’s stevens security detail.   THIS IS A LIE [The Guardian Reports]

WASHINGTON – The two former Navy SEALs killed in last week’s attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi were not part of Ambassador Chris Stevens’ official security detail but took up arms in an effort to protect the facility when it was overrun by insurgents, U.S. officials tell the Washington Guardian.

The two former SEALS,  Tyrone Woods, 41, and Glen Doherty, 42, were not employed by the State Department diplomatic security office and instead were what is known as personal service contractors who had other duties related to security, the officials said.

They stepped into action, however, when Stevens became separated from the small security detail normally assigned to protect him when he traveled from the more fortified embassy in Tripoli to Benghazi, the officials said.

The two ex-Seals and others engaged in a lengthy firefight with the extremists who attacked the compound, a fight that stretched from the inner area of the consulate to an outside annex and a nearby safe house — a location that the insurgents appeared to know about, the officials said.

The officials provided the information to the Washington Guardian, saying they feared the Obama administration’s scant description of the episode left a misimpression that the two ex-Navy SEALs might have been responsible for the ambassador’s personal safety or become separated from him.

“Woods and Doherty weren’t part of the detail, nor were they personally responsible for the ambassador’s security, but they stepped into the breach when the attacks occurred and their actions saved others lives — and they shouldn’t be lumped in with the security detail,” one senior official said, speaking only on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly about the State Department.  (continue)

Yesterday ABC’s Jake Tapper tried to get Jay Carney on record with a  position about why US marines were NOT providing security for the US Consulate in Benghazi.

[…]  ABC White House Correspondent Jake  Tapper asked Carney: “In the wake of the attacks on Benghazi, the  Pentagon and the State Department both made statements that they then  had to correct, the Pentagon involving whether or not there were Marines  at the embassy in Tripoli–there were not–and the State Department  regarding the presence of security firms at the Benghazi compound. Why  was there such confusion and is the White House conducting any sort of  internal investigation as to what went wrong”?

Carney answered, “Well, there is an ongoing investigation as to what happened in Benghazi that’s being led by the FBI –”

“I’m not talking about the criminal act,” said Tapper. “I’m talking  about the–obviously there wasn’t adequate security along the lines of  what went wrong–about what the administration could have done  better.”

Carney said, “I think I would refer you for questions about security  at the Benghazi diplomatic facility and broadly speaking at diplomatic  facilities, consulates, and embassies around the world to the State  Department.”

Tapper followed up: “Who made the decision that there should not  be any Marines at our diplomatic posts in Libya? More than half of our  diplomatic posts have Marines. I understand they’re not there to protect  people. They’re there to protect classified data but it doesn’t hurt to  have them there. Who made the decision?”

Carney responded: “I think security at diplomatic facilities is  overseen by and run by the State Department,  so I’d refer you to them  about how decisions are made and what the allocation of resources was in  Benghazi and elsewhere. I think they’re the best people to answer that  question.”  (watch video of exchange)
