FBI integrity? Honorable rank and file? Please, spare me the oxygen…
I review this story from a position that I cannot fully explain. However, I have personal experience -recent experience- with a similar and rather unusual situation that cannot be explained by any method other than DHS surveillance.
So here’s what I think took place.
The package, likely a Fed-X or UPS overnight delivery, was intercepted by FBI agents using mechanisms for tracking and surveillance that open targeting through portals connected to DHS.
As an outcome of the U.S. Patriot Act, the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security has an agreement in place with mail shipping companies, public/private services, that essentially allows them a link to the proprietary portal to track all in-state and interstate mail deliveries.
The FBI has access to this data network in the same way the FBI has access to federal transportation records. When you book a flight and DHS portals are open that allow FBI to track your movements domestically. This type of portal is also accessed in private company transportation like Uber, Lyft etc. DHS, and as a consequence the FBI, can easily track your whereabouts using public or private transportation. You willingly carry a transponder -called a cell phone- that assists them with their tracking.
Without much hesitation I will bet the FBI was legally monitoring the communication of Tony Bobulinski, and by extension the entire Tucker Carlson production network. Once the Hunter Biden records shipment was known to be taking place, the DHS portals are opened; the package containing the flash drive is tracked; and the FBI moves in to intercept the delivery.
The transport company (all of them) doesn’t need to be participating because they are essentially unneeded. Their system network is connected to DHS and by extension the FBI. Once the flash drive is copied it then mysteriously reappears… go figure.
That’s the likely scenario.

Tucker Carlson never once said it was a thumb drive on the 28th. Only that there were incriminating documents missing and they supplied “pictures of the materials missing so they would know what to look for.” The empty package was discovered at their sorting facility in another state and has since been thrown away, but the thumb drive was found on the floor of their Manhattan office and had been sitting on a supervisor’s desk.
I doubt seriously there is anything left on that thumb drive, fox has turned over all copies, and whoever sent it or any other documents is soon to be arrested. We likely will never hear another word about it.

Yes, it does mention that the flash drive was found on the floor in Manhattan office and placed on supervisor’s desk. Since the package was being shipped on Monday, we can probably assume placed on desk Monday, tho the article doesn’t get that specific.
The article does say that it sat on the desk until being delivered back to Fox by “security” on Thursday. So it sounds like the flash drive sat in the Manhattan office 3 days, basically.
The article mentions twice that “2 people verified the package was sealed” before it was taken to UPS.

Given that the flash drive was intercepted right away – at the point of shipping – I can’t speculate whether it’s more likely it was targeted from the “portal” that Sundance describes (like the moment someone at Fox filled out the online shipping widget and got a tracking number assigned and a shipping label printed out) or by older means, like intercepting Fox communications devices or even old-school “we found gold in the walls” listening bugs.
It all gets a bit beyond me at that point and I run our of mental horespower and have no experience to make a judgement. I’ll appreciate what others have to say.

I’m just guessing here, but it sounds like the producer went to a UPS store. Those are franchises and it sounds like that is where the thumb drive was removed. If the store has cameras, UPS corporate wouldn’t have access to any footage.
Once the package left the store in Manhattan and arrived at the UPS sort facility that’s a different story. They have surveillance everywhere. Whatever happened, happened in Manhattan.
Like most, I don’t understand why the information wasn’t sent electronically. Also, if I was on the production team I wouldn’t plug that thumb drive into my computer, maybe put it on a throw away laptop. Whoever had it could have put anything on it.

While supposedly Seth Rich’s beef, as a Bernie Bro, was Hillary’s vote-stripping scam, being in a hurry, the rabidly -downloaded files caught up some very unsavory emails and files involving Podesta, Brock, his but buddy Alefantis, the satanic Marina Abramovic, and a lot of references to toddler molestation (perhaps worse).
Supposedly, Seth Rich was on his way to see the FBI to discuss additional files, and in the wee hours of the morning, was set upon and shot from behind. He still had cash, watch and cellphone on him, so if it was an armed robbery, it wasn’t by a greedy robber. But allegedly, a flash drive containing those additional files was not found on him.
Finally, a posting by someone who alleged to be a doctor or intern at the hospital Seth was brought to indicated that Seth was alive and alert when brought to them. His wounds had been addressed and he was stabilized up to the moment “men with guns” arrived, cleared the floor, and by morning, Seth had been Arkancided, or Epsteined, or Vince Fostered.
That was a missing flash drive too.
We can’t forget that Donnan Brazile and the Mayor of DC were waiting for Seth to get to the ER, HMMMMMM!

If it was intercepted using/misusing legal means it could be done openly, no time consuming subterfuge.
The packet could be opened, contents copied, re sealed or put in a nice new packet in less than 5 or 10 minutes, sent on its merry way, and no one would have been any the wiser.
Exactly, although the tech detail would not immediately know the contents of the envelope they’re retrieving until opening. They might have to head back to the office (Bad Tech Detail, Bad). But this wouldn’t have taken long and should’ve been covered better than that. Heck, during WW-II the OSS and Brits together setup an operation on Bermuda to MANUALLY open, copy & re-seal thousands of pieces of mail intercepted during the brief layover of the Pan Am Clipper aircraft. It was done well, because it was done by experts.
In the FBI’s case, maybe they had only a Gov’t Windoze machine and the files were Apple iOS. Bottom line, the notion that some mail room kid just found it & then laid it on the supervisor’s desk is a load of horsehockey.

I too was shocked last night when Tucker did his apology tour for Crackhead Hunter. In fact, I felt it was very manipulative.

The Wray FBI would find the discussions related to deals with the Chi-Coms which would allow the imbedded bad actors (‘sleepers’) at the Bureau to cry “Intelligence Related” and use the same dishonest maneuver to hide away the evidence by slapping on a Top Secret security classification. What the Wray FBI didn’t realize was their use of this classification dodge was actually intentionally withholding exculpatory evidence from the legal defense of the President during the impeachment process which was a seditious conspiracy against the government – treason.
Hunter allowed himself to be publically humiliated by revealing evidence that would necessitate a life sentence so that a treasonous conspiracy could be exposed. That is no small sacrifice for an addict. I think Tucker was acknowledging that sacrifice without condoning Hunter’s bad behavior.

(1) Why steal the drive and then return it? If it just disappeared in its entirety it would fall under the UPS reputation of “things just go missing sometimes in transit.” These documents could have been “marked” as a “barium meal” as we have seen used in the past. (Might have even been infected with a virus as someone suggested up thread.)
(2) Why would Bobulinski/Tucker assume that they weren’t under surveillance and send highly sensitive documents through a public carrier instead of a trusted courier? They could have just transferred the documents electronically. YouTubers in China have figured out how to upload videos utilizing multi-hop VPN’s to accomplish their uploads. The calculus on this just doesn’t add up.
(3) Could this be “Operation Bobulinski” whose primary purpose is to serve as a firewall that sacrifices Biden but protects BHO? I can’t get the self serving obama telling Joe, “Joe, you don’t have to do this.” knowing full well he was setting up Biden for the fall.
Think of how this was gamed out: a presidential candidate corrupt for many years, leveraged and compromised by foreign relationships and possible pedophilia connections flames out in the middle of a highly political campaign; having the added benefit of throwing the entire country into mass chaos as well. It becomes the brightest star in the universe. Blinding all to the huge black hole immediately behind it.
Wandering, Bobulinski didn’t send anything. Documents (possibly in the form of a flash drive) were provided to Tucker’s New York office while he and his producer were in California. He wanted to see them so the office sent them to him. It is reasonable that they’d have sent them on a flash drive rather than in hard copies. And it is highly possible he didn’t know they were being sent on a drive when he did the show talking about the lost package. People like Tucker don’t get into office procedural details.
I don’t believe Bobulinski has anything whatsoever to do with Obama.
As for “why steal the drive and then return it?”, that would be the thing to do if one simply wanted to copy it. Easy peasy.

Good to know. I stopped making any purchases associated with UPS delivery, years ago. All those delivery guys did the same thing: knock on your door, tack on a prepared failed delivery notice and immediately run away and drive off. In order to get your package, one would have a 45 min drive to another suburb to pick it up.
1. A WELL SEALED cardboard envelope containing an inherently small and lightweight thumb drive which wouldn’t cause a breach in the package during shipment is given to UPS in NYC to ship overnight to LA.
2. Fox News is told the thumb drive had been lost when it was noticed at some point along the chain after it left NYC that the envelope had been opened and the contents were missing.
3. Days later, AFTER Tucker Carlson announces its disappearance after waiting for an incredibly extensive, but unsuccessful search to be completed, it is “found.”
4. The thumb drive was supposedly found on the floor of the NYC UPS facility and placed on a supervisor’s desk… who somehow didn’t get the word about UPS’ described, incredibly extensive search for a lost thumb drive.
5. Mainstream media said absolutely nothing about the missing, “incredibly damaging” against Dementia Joe and the Biden Crime Family documents until they were found at which point they mock Tucker Carlson as a conspiracy theorist.
6. Fox News never receives the original, but now empty envelope for examination.
Here is what was accomplished by the forces of evil who own the censored MSM and social media which too many depend upon to know what to pay attention to:
1. The documents were copied to know what to cover up, shred, and what to prepare for.
2. Tucker Carlson was made to look like a fool by reporting only a tiny part of the story as usual.
BTW, here’s hoping they were smart enough to bullet proof encrypt the thumb drive contents (yes, that’s possible even against NSA supercomputers), but I’m not counting on that, and also hoping that in the future they put encrypted thumb drives inside a properly addressed TYVEK envelope (incredibly TOUGH and doesn’t just “accidentally” open) placed INSIDE the cardboard overnight envelope.
Yes. Why would you ship sensitive data without it being encrypted? Why would you ship it instead of electronic encrypted transfer? This whole business doesn’t make sense.
We don’t know what was on the flash drive. This could have been a setup from the start… could have been nothing was there other than images of hands with the middle finger extended to those who had illegally intercepted the package.

So, UPS is claiming a Fumble-Rooski as opposed to a Bobble-Insky when everyone suspects it was a Hackage of the Package. Got it.
Tucker stated that the package that the drive was mailed in was thrown out! That package was not the UPS’s to throw out! That package was mailed to Tucker at Fox and belongs to the receiver! This is potentially criminal as UPS interfered with the delivery of mail. Tucker needs to sue them on that issue.
Tampering with mail (throwing away or destroying the package) is a federal offence and whether it applies to UPS or not is a point to investigate. “UPS is a private company. USPS is a federal government entity. The federal government makes tampering with the mail while the mail is in the government’s care a federal criminal offense.” In 1979 when USPS authorized delivery by private companies, they may have placed those companies under the criminal law governing federal mail. 18 U.S. Code CHAPTER 83— POSTAL SERVICE
“The Private Express Statutes (PES) are a group of United States federal civil and criminal laws placing various restrictions on the carriage and delivery of letters by all organizations other than the United States Postal Service.” UPS may have been placed under this.
What if these were files of Hunter with underaged girls? Electronically transmitting them would be a crime, for sure. If they were given to Fox on the flash drive and sent to Los Angeles by UPS, is that still a crime? Is that a way to transmit them without violating the law? Not a lawyer. Just speculating.
The optimist in me keeps hoping the flashdrive was a honeypot (if that’s the right term–I’m no hacker, fo sho) and when anyone tries to use any of the information stolen from it, it will automatically “out” them as the thieves/conspirators.
Of course, it’s also likely only Sundance will have the smarts to figure it out, e.g., the FISA docs leaked to SSCI cat’s paw, Wolfie and his enemedia ho.
