Both of the Charlie Hebdo terrorists, Kouachi brothers, and the Kosher Market terrorist, Amedy Couibaly, contacted the media before they were killed by police. The terrorists informed the media their attacks were coordinated by ISIS training, and cell activation. In essence, they were saying there is more to come.

BFM TV has been in contact with two terrorists during the day on Friday. They claimed their actions. One of them reported a synchronization between actions.
BFM TV has been in telephone contact with Sharif Friday Kouachi, entrenched in Dammartin-en-Goële (Seine-et-Marne) and Amedy Coulibaly, which held hostage in a Parisian kosher supermarket, before they were killed in the assault forces.
One of the killers of Charlie Hebdo, Cherif Kouachi , joined by BFM TV, said Friday morning he was commissioned by “Al Qaeda in Yemen” and been trained by Imam Anwar Al Awaki. “We are defenders of the prophet,” he has said. It is trying to reach witnesses in the printing Dammartin-en-Goële where they were entrenched, our reporter was in contact with the one who is considered the leader of the attack against the satirical weekly.
Amedy Coulibaly , the terrorist door of Vincennes, has contacted him BFMTV at 15h during the hostage taking. He said he wanted to get in touch with the police.
The hostage taker at the grocery store told the deputy managing editor of BFMTV Alexis Delahousse, have “synchronized” with Charlie killers he knew : “They Charlie Hebdo, the police myself.” He said his side belong to the Islamic State. (read more)

Kouachi claimed he was sent on a mission by Al Qaeda in Yemen and that he was financed by imam Anwar Al Awlaki, who was killed by a U.S. drone strike in 2011. Coulibaly claimed that he had “synchronized” his actions with the brothers who attacked Charlie Hebdo. “They were in charge of Charlie Hebdo, and I was in charge of the cops,” he reportetly told the channel. You’re the ones killing the children of Muslims in Irak, in Syria, in Afghanistan. That’s you. Not us. We have honor codes in Islam.
